papyrus watched in horror as i poured a cup of milk, then took a big gulp.

...which i immediately regretted.

"I'M GOING TO ASSUME THAT'S NOT THE REACTION OF A MAN DRINKING 'FINE' MILK."

quickly taking the jug and cup away from me, he emptied the definitely expired milk into the sink.

"AWAY IT GOES! ..UNFORTUNATELY, THAT WAS THE LAST OF THE MILK."

"guess we're going to the store today."

"are you thinking what i'm thinking?"

"..WE HAVE TO."

in front of us sat a most glorious shopping cart. attached to the front of it was a plastic red car.

immediately getting in the little seat, i squeaked the tiny car horn.

"cool."

papyrus pushed our (very cool) car-cart around the store (very cool-like) until we reached the dairy isle.

"WHY DO THEY HAVE PRE-CHOCOLATED CHOCOLATE MILK?? THAT'S JUST PLAIN LAZY!!"

"you wanna get one?"

"..OKAY. WHAT ABOUT THE STRAWBERRY FLAVOR? SHOULD WE GET ONE OF THOSE?"

"sure."

"WHAT ELSE DO WE NEED?"

"i think i used the rest of the flour yesterday."

"I SHOULD DEFINITELY GET MORE SPAGHETTI!"

"i should get more chips."

"WE SHOULD-"

papyrus gasped.

"SANS!! THOSE SKELETONS...!!"

on a nearby halloween display sat multiple two-foot plastic skeletons, completely naked.

"their whole skeleton-hood is on display.."

"QUICKLY, TO THE CLOTHING AISLE!!!"

swiftly turning the cart around, we made a detour to the clothing section to pick out some shirts to cover those poor skeletons up with.

"MUCH BETTER!"

"can't believe they'd do that to 'em."

"......."

"...paps?"

i turned around to look at him.

in his hands was a large black shirt.

he flipped it around to show me.

"WHY IS IT JUST.. HANDS?"

it was one of those gag shirts with the skeleton hands grabbing the.. chest.

"......"

"skeleton hands are just too cool not to put on a shirt."

"THAT IS TRUE."

he checked the size.

"SANS, WHAT SIZE DOES MS. TORIEL WEAR AGAIN??"

"...xl, i think?"

"PERHAPS YOU SHOULD GET THIS FOR HER! WHAT BETTER WAY TO THANK HER FOR THE COOL SHIRT SHE GAVE YOU THAN WITH ANOTHER COOL SHIRT!!"

"....ok."

i texted tori a sorry in advance.

turns out papyrus likes the "just plain lazy" pre-mixed chocolate milk. i didn't think the strawberry was as good, but he liked that one too.

also, i think we forgot the flour.

Azriel Week might be over, but we wanted to keep the party going with this beautiful art! Though we have no doubt that Elain and Azriel love their family and friends, we also adore the idea that they're often happiest when they're simply alone together, finding peace and quiet in each other. Plus we love the thought that it's only with Elain that the famously stoic spymaster can truly relax, let down his guard, and just be himself. We hope we see at least a few secret meetings in the garden in their book!
