If you never heard of the "girlboss, gatekeep, gaslight" idiom before, it basically means manipulative lady willing to do shady things to get her way.

I considered adding Juliet Capulet to this poll but I think she's capable enough on her own, so she's excluded. Just convince her to not kill herself and teach her coping mechanisms to move on from Romeo and she'll be fine.

GERTRUDE ROBINSON PROPAGANDA:

- Thwarted multiple attempts to bring about the end of the world through various means. Usually vast amounts of explosives. Once by telling the newspaper about the awful living conditions of the sacrifices of one such attempt (get owned Lukas)

- Went against the evil fear forces that would cause the end of the world because "one of them killed her cat"

- Did a ritual of her own to bind her SOUL to the Jesus figure of a cult that worshipped a different fear power from the one she served

- Sacrificed multiple of her assistants to stop multiple different world ending attempts from the first point (#womens wrongs)

- Saw a young goth guy (the son of two of her former assistants that were not sacrificed by her) lighting evil books on fire and immediately took him in under her wing

- The other two characters submitted for The Magnus Archives were beat to death by one guy and an angry mob respectively. Gertrude was SHOT. TWICE. Whilst attempting to light the place she worked at on fire.

Ideas and thoughts on the possible outcomes of the TMA teases

Option 1: An adaptation of some kind, like a graphic novel or a animated tv show: score, here for it, hope it’s not live action cus this content would work best animated

Option 2: Spin Off with same fears but new world or cast: I’m down, let’s party, as long as it’s gay sign me up.

Option 3: Prequel with Gertrude: Gertrude was a stone cold bitch until the day she died and I for one support her rights and wrongs. Sold.

Option 4: Some bonus episodes in series like missing scenes or afterwards: What the Ghost is a podcast I would like to listen to, sure.

Option 5a: Direct Sequel: not sure if it’s for me given I liked the ending but I support it if the writers want to give it a go: have fun

Option 5b: Direct Sequel where Martin and Jon are background characters where our new protags see them as scary spooky figures but we know they’re absolute dorks: sign me the fuck up, forget what I said before, I’m down for Martin and Jon being very scary in people’s stories only for us to meet them and they’re a nerd who likes cats and a man who gaslight gatekeeped and girlbossed three separate fear avatars.
