Alright, so I mentioned in discord yesterday that Thalassa’s been dimension hopping. (We all have that one OC.) She’s currently hanging out in MDZS/Untamed world and causing chaos - as she does. @starofthemourning asked what specifically she was getting up to. So have a ramble!

- Thalassa was just minding her business, cruising through Death’s realm as she does from time to time, visiting past children and friends, helping newly deceased souls cross over, etc., etc., when she gets yoinked into a completely different land of the living.

- Thalassa: Toto, we are not in Eos anymore.

- She’s been summoned into the body of a young woman by a group of demonic cultivators that pushed some buttons they should not have. They are a cult, because of course they are, and Thalassa has no idea what’s happening, but they are cuckoo bananapuffs and leaning WAY too hard on the cult thing - virgin sacrifices, child sacrifices, torture, lotsa bad things. Thalassa in her new, 100% human body, says no.

- Enter JC! Who, as we know, hunts down demonic cultivators with a single mindedness that is probably more than a little unhealthy. And this is...I’m saying like 3 years after WWX died, so some things as still fresh (and also, other people are still alive to react to Thalassa and her...Thalassa-ness).

- JC arrives to find that Thalassa has already solved the problem. Very thoroughly. This strange woman covered in blood, with lines of fire burning across her skin and a smile that’s all teeth and gold, gold eyes that burn with power, escorting children and missing travelers out of the smoking ruins of their former prison, carrying the dead and dying with her. Because she cannot save them, but they will die free.

- JC is immediately Suspicious. This woman is not a cultivator. She is also not human. He is sure of it. He absolutely cannot prove it. (The body she’s currently inhabiting is human, she used to be human in body and soul and still is to an extent - she’s not lying.)

- Thalassa ends up being dragged to Lotus Pier along with some of the kids she saved, because orphans and we all know that Thalassa can and will adopt everything that breathes if it stands still long enough. She has technically done nothing wrong and has earned the gratitude and good will of quite a few people, so it would look bad if JC just disappeared her. But Something Is Afoot, so JC isn’t about to let her go gallivanting across the countryside either.

- Thalassa notices pretty quick that these people bow a lot. In greeting, in farewell, to show respect. Thalassa is Not About That. She is the Sea and the Sea Does Not Bow. It’s not such a big deal at first because the circumstances of meeting are...messy. But once they’re in Lotus Pier, people start noticing that she never bows, even after they’ve bowed to her, and they are Offended. The only ones that are not are the kids that she adopted. No one says anything at first, but they all make spectacular pissy faces that Thalassa delights in. JC eventually snaps at her, snarling about respect, and Thalassa calmly replies that if she ever bows to him or anyone else, they will have earned it. (”I have only ever bowed to my Mothers, to Death and to the Light of Dawn, and no other.”) JC, knowing that she’s not human, but not knowing exactly how, doesn’t bring it up again.

- Thalassa likes Lotus Pier. It’s bright and colorful and loud and surrounded by water. It’s not as good as her waters, of course, but it’s nice to be able to swim when the mood strikes. It’s nice to be able to swim with the children, nice to know that everyone learns to swim at Lotus Pier and that they take it seriously. The first time she catches JC teaching the kids she brought with her to swim she stares because he’s not gentle exactly, but...softer. These people operate on different rules than her, but it’s nice to know that somethings always stay the same.

- It takes Lotus Pier a little while to figure out that they’ve been adopted, but they get there. Thalassa is the weird big sister/aunt/mother figure that will be getting you into trouble one moment and then helping out get out of it the next. She doesn’t bow and they don’t make her. She’s chaos in human skin, but some of them (far, far too few) remember that Lotus Pier has always had a soft spot for chaos gremlins and their antics. It brings smiles to their faces when they see this strange whirlwind of a woman trail after their Sect Leader, tugging at his sleeves and leaning into his space and laughing with a smile brighter than the sun when he swats at her, a secret grin tugging at the corners of his scowl.

- At some point, Thalassa meets other sects. It goes...well it goes. For maximum chaos, let’s say its a discussion conference. At Jinlintai. Which brings us right back to the Thalassa and bowing thing.

- JC and YunmengJiang have been dealing with Thalassa’s bullshit for - months? a year? who knows, it’s been awhile - at this point and know that it’s better to just Roll With It.

- The rest of the cultivation world has very much not learned this lesson.

- The Lan are Offended. So Offended. Depending on the Lan, at least. LXC is pretty chill and would probably also be offended, but not let it bother him much. LQR leans so much on propriety that he might just qi deviate. LWJ also leans pretty heavily on propriety but he is also that person who is So Done With Everyone’s Bullshit that he’ll just walk right out of the room so who knows.

- The rules of propriety! Broken!! Without cause or care!!! The Lans are flipping their shit. Quietly. And with great dignity.

- The Nie also kinda offended, but not nearly as much as the Lan. It’s not often that a woman will look Sect Leader Nie in the eye and refuse to bow to him, but NMJ can admire the guts it takes. He’s also the most likely to bring it up and Thalassa will calmly tell him what she tells everyone who asks - that she does not bow. Most especially not for social niceties that mean next to nothing at the end of the day.

- She absolutely bonds with NHS over the arts. He shows off his fans, she does a dance or two with them, they ramble at each other, they are now best friends. (JC is in the background being a Dispair because he knows, he knows, the NHS is an Enabler. He should never have allowed them to meet.)

- The Jin...well. Thalassa is a woman. Thalassa is very pretty. Thalassa knows she is very pretty and flirts as she pleases and moves with a grace that draws many a eye. And JGS...is JGS.

- You know that post that’s buried in my STotS story tag where Mera, literal Queen of Atlantis, breaks a man’s arm because he put his hands on her without her permission? I’m not saying that happens...but that 100% happens.

- JGS tries to be all smooth and Thalassa is Not Having It. She is well aware that 1) this jackass is married AND absolutely does not have the permission of his wife to fuck around and 2) JGS has a reputation among women. And it is not one that endears JGS to her.

- So he puts his hands on her. Pulls her close and tries to flirt. She tells him to let go. He smiles in that ‘aw you’re playing hard to get, how cute’ way that he probably thinks is charming but really wants to make women punch his face in, and gropes her. So Thalassa breaks his arm, snaps it in her hand and doesn’t let go. She uses the pain and the leverage of her grip to force him to his knees before her.

- It draws attention. JGS doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy who gets in physical fights much - he probably doesn’t have much pain tolerance. He’s likely screaming. And you know cultivators are trigger happy little shits so swords are drawn. Thalassa smiles, all teeth.

- JGS is probably demanding that JC ‘put his woman in her place’. JC, having witnessed what happened and far less inclined to put up with this man than he was in the immediate aftermath of the Sunshot Campaign when all he had was the ashes of his sect, is having None Of It. He’s like well if she’s my woman why are you touching her and if she said no, why are you still touching her?

- NMJ approves. JGS deserves this. He’s had it coming for years. He is so happy he gets to witness this. As far as he’s concerned JGS brought this on himself and if he can’t handle it, maybe he should try keeping his dick in his pants.

- Thalassa is not impressed. She’s heard the titles thrown around. Sect Leader, Chief Cultivator, Your Excellency. She is well aware that leaders do not represent the entirety of the people, yet these people overthrew a tyrant and let this take his place? (”So you allow an oathbreaking rapist to lead you. This explains so much.”)

- JGY steps up and tries to smooth over the situation. Thalassa does not allow it. (”The next time he touches me, I will cut off his cock. If any woman he’s touched comes to me for help, I will rip out his intestines and strangle him with them.”)

- The Jiang are the only ones who know that she means this 100% literally. More than a few of them are okay with her following through. JC is standing at her shoulder, glowering at the whole room because Thalassa is one of His People at this point and you better believe he’s not going to let someone, not even another Sect Leader, not even the Chief Cultivator, disrespect her this way.

- JGY continues to deescalate with varying levels of success. (Thalassa is old. She is old and has lived through much. She knows what a viper looks like no matter how honeyed the words or how silver the tongue or how sweet the smile. This child thinks he can manipulate her. How cute.)

- In the end, no action is taken against Thalassa. JC is loud in his defense of her actions and NMJ and LXC side with him. JGS was in the wrong and his behavior was disgraceful. The Jin have no choice but to concede fault.

- Thalassa may or may not spend the rest of her time in Jinlintai teaching as many women as she can how to cripple a man twice their size.

The End of the Vreni Island crisis.

The crisis on Vreni Island begun with a Sith attack on the Jedi Temple that seemed to have been lead by Darth Knox. While the Sith may have been focused on their Jedi rivals another entity would exploit the chaos. Nec’ron Sk’ar would lead the Scourge to attack the island at that moment and managed to seize it with over a thousand hostages under their control which included many VIP’s in Government and Business. To this day it is unknown whether the Sith & The Scourge were coordinated in their effort.

The One Sith had their temple raided by CorSec with the Jedi and would withdraw from the public eye on Corellia. Over the next several months a tense stand off would develop. The CDF would blockade the island and several in Government such as Councilor’s Turq and Zwee as well as Prime Minister Victoria made diplomatic efforts. The efforts had mixed result, Zwee would trade herself for the former Republic Chancellor Bok Suthra as well as several other prisoners. Zwee made several efforts to help the hostages from the inside, and has provided us with some journal excerpts which further detail the occupation that we will publish at the end of this summary.

Eventually a raid was held on the Scourge stronghold in Coronet in which Bones and the Vandangante OutlawTech gang were taken down by CorSec. During this raid an Imperial Agent was rescued. They were about to be executed by the Scourge as they had managed to retrieve the codes to disarm the bombs that had been placed on Vreni Island as a method for mass execution of the hostages. With these codes an assault was quickly launched.

The CDF focused on dealing with the Scourge gunships as CorSec, Jedi, Mandalorians and an unidentified force moved in. The unidentified force managed to slip in and blow up the power station, killing one of the notable Scourge in Val’kar the Dashade in the process. The Mandalorians would provide a distraction for the CorSec and Jedi forces to reach the hostages. It is estimated that the Mandos took on the bulk of Scourge forces and though several were wounded they managed to clear several hundreds of Scourge, capturing copkiller Noj Peesejamo and putting an end to Bofa Treat Gang Leader Nenthus Rordul.

Jedi and CorSec forces managed to secure most of the hostages though nearly a hundred of the 1200 or so that remained lost their lives during the battle. They also captured CorSec traitor Vakira Crane.

Those still in condition to fight from all the teams then converged on Nec’ron Sk’ar and his Battle Skiff. Sk’ar would soon see how outnumbered he was and make an effort to withdraw but he did not get far and was captured. Once Nec’ron was captured the remaining Scourge forces were scattered fully. Only a few minor officers escaped such as Nsspar the Bothan, a pair of Zabrak twins, and Meru of the White Worms.

It is believed that most of the gangs that had been part of the Scourge coalition have been fragmented beyond being any type of threat anytime in the near future with the exception of the White Worms. The Worms for their part seem to be laying low after the whole affair.

Over the course of the entire Scourge Saga around 150 hostages were killed, 350 escaping or freed prior to the liberation and another 1100 freed after, and around 250 flipped to join the Scourge, most infamously CorSec high up Vakira Crane.

The Island will need rebuilding in sections and the courts will be busy over the next few weeks. So far Bones is the only one sentenced having received life and moved to a maximum security prison on Drall. Noj, Crane, and Sk’ar await their trials, the prosecution seeking the death penalty on Sk’ar following Councilor Turq and Prime Minister Victoria asking for that. Some believe Sk’ar and the Scourge were the device of someone else’s agenda but who and why..?

The Prime Minister made a press release following the conclusion of the saga;

“Good Day Citizens of the five planets. This is Prime Minster Victoria to tell you about the Vreni Island hostage. I’m glad to tell you all the Vreni Island takeover have officially ended and thanks to the brave members of CorSec and allies to the CorFed. These people deserve recognition and will get that in due time. We have managed to rescue the remaining hostages and capture some of Scourge members including their leader Nec'ron. I would like to thanks the hostages for surviving as long as they did as we work out the best possible plan to save them. I know we have loss innocent lives, but rest assure that justice will be serve for them. We are currently providing support to the survivors which also include Councilor Zwee as she is in critical condition. We will keep you update if anything else related to this incident."

DAY 1

I've settled in here on the island, finally. For the moment, the Scourge are keeping me away from the other hostages, setting me up in a smaller house all on my own by order of Nec'ron. He IS intelligent, I'll give him that, moreso than the media likes to portray him. Far from keeping me in my own hovel for my comfort, I'm certain the move was a calculated one so as to foster resentment for me in the rest of the hostages, both to undermine my attempts while lowering their overall morale. A common theme in his diatribes was railing against our government, to show us as rich and uncaring and aloof...this was a move to bring some factuality to his opinions, and likely will work in the short term. However, it also shows a flaw: this means he cares what the hostages think of him and his goals. Whatever Nec'ron is REALLY after, he'll need the support of 'The People'. I can use this.

DAY 4

The past few days I've been about my work when I was allowed outside of my new home. PM Victoria and I hatched the plan to place me here so that I could covertly spy upon the Scourge- reveal their strength, weaknesses, attain surveillance photographs satellite images may not be strong enough to get. I went to the Prime Minister and volunteered because I believed that I was the only one capable of such. My cybernetic implants enable me to photograph easily and silently..although a few Scourge agents have given me jeers and made jokes at my expense for seemingly walking around and staring at things. Hopefully this will continue, the last thing I want is to be viewed as a threat. Luckily for me, the house I am set up in had a holonet uplink (all furniture and the holonet device itself had been trashed, of course), and with a little rigging I was able to connect the uplink to my headjack. This way, I'll be able to transmit my recon data directly and securely to the PMs datapad without having to resort to so-called 'dead drops' and the like. Unluckily for me, the Scourge have taken away the medications I need to keep myself healthy with all this tech implanted in my head. In hindsight, I could have hidden the stash better, but this spywork is pretty new to me. Oh well. Also, turns out I was right about Nec'ron wanting to foster resentment for me with the other hostages. Earlier today I was allowed to mingle with them and, though the family members of the children, elderly, and wounded were grateful with my successful negotiation of their release (was quite worried about Suthra), the rest were pretty ticked off I couldn't rescue them all. A good many joined the Scourge today, some even killed, but I don't think all hope is lost. I can still reach them, prove Nec'ron wrong and show them their government, we, care about them.

DAY 8

I'm allowed more and more access with the hostages, by now i think Nec'ron doesn't think much of me at all, much less a threat. Though some hostages are kept in pens, we've negotiated that all the hostages are allowed some time to walk around, occupy houses, for lack of a better phrase 'live a normal life' so long as they stay out of the Scourge's way. As a result, far fewer have been flipped to their cause or killed the past few days. I'm doing what I can to keep them calm and organized, to counteract the resentment Nec'ron is hoping to grow within them. I've taken to assigning chores for the ones willing to do them- just tidying up, some paltry decorating and the like to keep their minds occupied. I've heard Councilor Turq was able to persuade the Scourge away from treating us TOO poorly as well, which has definitely helped with keeping everyone calm. In the evenings, more hostages have been coming to our story-circle...we sit around a small fire and trade happy stories and the like. It may sound ridiculous, but these activities have done wonders for their morale. In a way I'm g-g-glad I could b-b-be here. Sorry for that. I'm trying very hard not to show weakness in front of the other hostages- wouldn't be good for morale. I was able to 'hotwire' a handful of the Scourge's droids today, and that and my lack of medication are starting to take their toll. Should be f-f-fine. Damn it.

DAY 10

Discovered what Nec'ron is really after. Although the CorSec commissioner has flipped to the Scourge's side, Vakira Crane was given some access to Nec'rons little private circle and is a woman that has loose lips. I was able to overhear quite a lot while she was bragging to those few CorSec officers she was able to turn with her. Combined with what I sliced from Nec'rons datapad, the PM will be getting quite a juicy transmission this week!

DAY 12

Reached equilibrium today with persuasion attempts, most hostages content to stay where they are, onl-on-only a couple joined Scourge, one killed. Garthus Vin, his name was. Painter. Equilibrium could not have come at a better time. Stuttering more, harder to speak. Our natural charisma, taken...our? Likely, cranial implants starting to malfunction. We...I? I. I've continued with reprogramming what Scourge droids I can find. It seems Nec'ron and the rest pay little attention with droid upkeep. Beneficial for our wor-wo-work.

DAY 16

Hostage assesment: complacency high. Turned to Scourge or killed: very few, similar to last week. Equilibrium: maintained. Whispering now, allowing cranial implants control of our speech. Pain: lessened this way. More efficient. Re: efficiency- we were able to reprogram last of Scourge droids today. All thirty under our control. Plan is to use them to disrupt signal that will activate thermal cluster bombs, protect hostages. We estimate in five days: reprogram fully so as they can act autonomously. Many parameters, much reprogramming needs adjustment.

DAY 17

Informed Prime Minister negotiated release of more hostages. We will be among them. Tried to persuade to stay: failed. Assessment: Nec'ron becoming suspicious of our activities. Result: no time re: droid fine tuning. Optimal course of action: slave thirty droids to our implant control remotely. Most efficient course of action. Cranial/neurological implants: not designed for this solution. Eighty-seven percent chance: severe neurological damage. Suggest another... ERROR. Risk assessment: acceptable. We will proceed. Droid slaving: success. Consequence: lost usage of lower appendages. Sudden. Cranial implants: slight malfunction audible/visable. Combined:.possible Scourge discover droid slaving.Solution: hide consequence via Scourge provocation leading to physical abuse. Solution: successful

Paintball Tips & Tricks to Improve Your Paintballing Skills

Delta Force paintball is more than a team sport or adrenaline adventure. It’s also a fantastic way to spend time with friends and Family.it’s a battle for the past, present, and future. It’s also a battle for the supernatural, men and women, and battles between galaxies. It’s a battle between supervillains and superheroes. It really is a fight of the alive vs the death. There is no retreat or surrender. It’s crucial to ensure your survival and success when the stakes are high and the consequences matter. These tactics and tips are the keys to victory on the battlefield. They were compiled by the men and women who fought before you. Here are the Top Ten Tips for Playing the Best, Getting Shot the Most, and Getting the Most Out of Your Day of Paintball.

1. VISION

Your goggles are, without a doubt, the most important piece of equipment. Your goggles, if properly maintained, will protect your eyes, face, and ears. They will also allow you to see the battlefield clearly if they are used correctly. It doesn’t matter how great your shot is if a sweaty or steamy lens impairs your vision. Paintball games are won when players use their eyes more than their guns. This is why I want you guys to get your first advantage. In your Operations briefing, listen to the Events Manager. He will demonstrate how to apply anti-fog coatings and manage layers/clothing best to minimize sweating. The strap should be higher than your head when the goggles are placed on your face. This will ensure that your nosepiece is flush with your skin. There is a greater chance of your goggles getting fogged up if there are more gaps between you and the foam frame. After you have adjusted your layers and your goggles are properly fitted, you can receive your call to the gun range.

2. GUN BASICS

This is where the roots of great paintball playing begin. Learn how to hold your gun and how you can use it to its maximum potential. Guns are gravity fed, so it is important to hold your gun upright while firing. This will allow paintballs from your loader to feed into your gun’s breach. It may look cool, but tilting your gun too far or side shooting can cause miss fires and high chances of shooting blanks. After your gun is set up properly and you feel comfortable with it, it’s time to test it out. If possible, place the gun’s air system in your shoulder. This can be used as a rifle stock to control all movements and stabilize the gun after each shot. Lift your gun so you can see straight across the top of your gun. Now aim your barrel at a target. This will allow you to see clearly and accurately where you are aiming. For extra strength, grab the front end of the gun (usually by the foregrip). This is especially important if your arms are shorter or if the gun has a long length. Take a shot, and hold your gun steady. Is it close to where you wanted? Take another, readjust… Continue reading… This is the most precise and accurate way to get a shot on target. You need to be able to judge distances accurately with both eyes. When firing, make sure you have both eyes open. Paintballs are not designed to be shot like bullets. You may need to raise the barrel to reach the desired distance. You can make small adjustments to change the target location dramatically. Keep working in smaller increments until your accuracy is perfect. Once you’re satisfied, you can fire the trigger until the paint starts breaking where you want. TIPS: When you move around a game area, ensure your gun is up and ready for action. This will enable you to respond quickly to any kill opportunities or nasty surprises.

3. USE A COVER

Paintball is often described as “hide-and-seek with guns,” and that phrase serves as a great analogy to what I’m about to share. Every barricade or bush, vehicle, structure, vehicle, etc., that you can use to cover your body from the opposition is available as ‘cover’ when you step onto a painting field. The cover’s size and angle are crucial. However, it is equally important to how you conceal behind it. Paintball is a game where a toe shot can be as fatal as a face shot, so make sure your entire body is behind the cover. You must quickly find a bigger or better piece if you cannot hide completely from the opposition. You are hiding behind cover to avoid enemy paintballs and their eyes. They cannot see what you’re doing. You cannot see their activities, making you vulnerable to them moving on your behalf and gaining an advantage. Effective behind cover means engaging the enemy and shooting at him, but not exposing too much. Although it can be tempting to take many shots, this will often result in you taking many hits. Be agile in your movements and unpredictable. Always return your entire body to a safe place to hide again. TIPS: When you are behind cover, make sure to look at your feet and legs so that you have the right body position for that type of cover. To stay alive, you may need to sit on your stomach or knees.

4.OBJECTIVES

Each game will require you to complete objectives to win missions. As your head referee explains the mission, listen carefully and don’t be afraid to ask questions if you have any doubts. A clear understanding of what you need could make the difference between winning or losing with your team or you being the hero. The field layouts are well-known by the team refs. Talk to them before the game to learn where the key spots and areas to push for. You may find other experienced players or others who have played on the field before. It will be easier to reach your goals if you have more information about the environment and the mission ahead. TIPS: The refs can tell you where a game was won or how it is typically won. They may be able to reveal the secret of a great game.

5. PLAYING AGGRESSIVE

When I speak of playing aggressively, it doesn’t mean dropping Kung Fu kicks and flying elbows. It is about taking advantage of every opportunity that presents itself in a game. When playing paintball, you have two options: you can either sit back and be safe or get up close to the action and cause some chaos. When the game is over, the best thing to do is to sprint forward to gain ground. This is a simple way to win. It will allow your team to control your attacking areas and make it harder for the bad guys who try to move up the field. It would help if you remembered to live when you reach your designated spots. Do not allow yourself to be too reckless or lose sight of your goals. You don’t have to win the game in the first few minutes. To dominate your opponent, you must shoot your gun wherever possible. Keep their heads down and stop them from making any moves. Remember that if your enemy cannot see you, they will often not be able to see the details of what you are doing. Use these opportunities wisely to gain more ground and make it easier to hit the targets. You may be able to see better angles from bad guys if you move to cover further. Make sure you check both sides before you attempt to kill them. Although it will be difficult to master, the best way to learn is to have the courage to experiment and learn from mistakes. Once you understand the concept of playing aggressively and can earn the results, you will never want to play another way. Keep your head high to see opportunities. You can also stay alert and ready to move when opportunities arise. TIPS: Lightweight football boots can be a good choice, and they won’t put too much strain on your legs

6. TEAMWORK

Paintball days can often be used to promote Teamwork or for team building. This is where paintball shines. It highlights the importance of working together with your teammates for the greater good before and during the game. Before any games, spend some time discussing how you’d like to play on the field. 7. TACTICS

There are many tactics that people can use in paintball situations. However, not everyone will be the same. Luckily, you can apply some simple strategies to all scenarios. To ensure your team isn’t vulnerable to being flanked, you must ensure that all players are evenly distributed across the map, from tape to tape. You can also stack players onto areas that offer good cover and move opportunities for immediate advantage. This is because they have the most to attack. If they are skilled at taking their losses, the players near the boundary will most likely get the attention. Shooting diagonally across the field from behind your chosen cover instead of straight ahead will reduce the chance of getting shot. It’ll also allow you to get some great side- and back shots of the opposition. It’s easy to see how it works. If you can kill some guys, your teammates on the other side will be able to move up and do so too. It is worth keeping a few players a little further back than the front line if things go wrong. These guys can be sniping at the opposition to keep their heads low while also acting as reserves to fill empty positions or return to good defensive positions for the last stand in case everything falls apart. TIPS – It’s easier to attack a side tape than the center because it reduces the number of angles that bad guys can have at you. You can fight for the tape with all your might because that is where most games are played (and lost).

8. COMMUNICATION

In a game like paintball, simple communication is key. Due to the heat and the mist, most people might struggle to understand their names or the coded signals. It is important to understand the following: What number of guys have your team killed? Which team is the weakest? Talk to one another on the field, then share what you’ve learned with your Squadmates. Your team will win with good intelligence and solid Teamwork. Make a concerted effort, especially during games, to communicate with one another. TIPS: Many Maps feature ‘deadboxes’ or ‘Respawn” areas near the edges of the map, rather than at its back. Keep track of the number of players your opponent has before you start the game. If it gets confusing, run to the dead box and count the number of people your team has shot. Don’t forget to inform everyone so they can see the score.

9. ADVANCED GUN FIGHTING

A good gunfighter can fire at other guns and not get shot. Although it is difficult to do, the fundamentals can be learned and used for the first time. We will show you how to become a ninja with your gun in no time. As discussed in the Using Cover section, it would help if you did not show your face behind the barricade when you are shooting your gun. This is the most efficient way to shoot your gun. You only need to expose your head (to view what you’re shooting) and your gun (to shoot what it’s seeing). When you raise your gun, you should keep your head straight behind it and your eyes open. With your knees slightly bent, stand fully behind your barricade and face forward. Instead of leaping out from behind cover, hold your upper body firm and keep your gun in your grip. You will get the advantage over your opponent and also minimize the chance of you getting shot. You can practice this rolling movement at any time, at home or in the safe zone. It is easy to learn, and you’ll become more proficient. Technically, this is known as the “SnapShot.” Keep your gun ready when you’re running in a game zone or moving forward. Don’t hesitate to shoot at a target while you run. Running is a good way to get a shot. Keep your upper body strong and your gun steady. To negotiate bumps and dips, bend your knees and use the legs to suspend your body. Keep your barrel tip pointing where you want it. Instead of aiming shots at the barrel, it is better to throw some paint at them when they run. If someone is running when you spot them, you’ll need to shoot before their target to get the paintball to them as soon as they pass. You can guess their destination and aim for one point ahead. They will need to run through your paintballs to reach their target. Here accuracy is key. TIPS- It’s ineffective because it is unlikely you will hit any bad guys. Most players won’t be affected by it.

10.FIELD AWARENESS

The final feather in the cap of a Paintballers’ team is being fully aware of what is going on and being positive about it. This ability allows players to appear behind enemy lines and defend areas or simply turn up when they are least expecting to. This ability is a result of playing many games and encountering many situations. But on every rental day, there seems to be one person who ‘gets it. It’s amazing to see. Let’s break down the field into zones. Let’s say left, center, and right to get started. Awareness is about being aware of what is happening in these zones or the closest two zones. These are your areas for growth. Use your eyes to gather as much information as you can and your mouth to communicate with teammates to help you build a picture of what is happening and how it could turn out. This is a case where you should follow your heart. If you feel you can push through an area and cause damage or if you need to help your friends in another area, go for it. TIPS – you can win paintball on your instincts and wits. To make the most of your wits, you need to let go of any fears or inhibitions about getting shot or making mistakes. You can find those opportunities wherever you want and take them. You will be happier for it, and you never know; you might even become the hero of the day.

Rules and Regulations for Paintballing

Favorite Villains - Crocodile (One Piece)

Being the longest running property in all of Shonen Jump and one of the longest running anime ever, One Piece is nothing short of overflowing with great villains. There’s a bit of contention as to who the true big bad is--the terrifying Blackbeard, the despicable Akainu, the compelling Donquixote Doflamingo--all have made their case. But the villain that I think embodies the themes of One Piece while also opposing them and lasting longest over the course of the series, is Sir Crocodile.

Crocodile is quickly established as a dangerous and duplicitous villain. He has connections in many different directions, an established member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, head of the Baroque Works criminal empire, and the worshipped hero of the desert kingdom of Alabasta. The true identity of Crocodile seems all but shrouded until his plans come to fruition.

Crocodile built his recognition within Alabasta by keeping its people safe of invading pirates and such, making quick work of undesirables with his Devil Fruit Powers. Adored and saluted, Crocodile gradually worked his way up through the ranks of Alabasta’s government, where he could begin his plan. Crocodile is extremely patient and intelligent, flexible to any number of roles he must take on. You see him as a pirate, a crime lord, and a hero, and he can take to any of these like a fish to water. Crocodile also had a slew of enforcers within the Baroque Works networks standing between himself and the heroes, making him seem downright intangible at times. The Alabastan Princess Vivi, the only one to see through his ruse, for a long time, is the only source of info we have on him, and the fear and hatred she expresses pain a terrifying picture.

Once Crocodile gained the trust of the Alabastan people, phase two of what he called Operation Utopia could be placed into action. Using a substance called Dance Powder, which can create rain fall, Crocodile unevenly distributed rain over certain parts of Alabasta, causing tensions to build within the desert nation. When the kingdom was about to all but burst from within, Crocodile had his shapeshifting subordinate, Mr. 2, take on the form of the Alabastan King and admit to the use of Dance Powder to horde water. This ignited a civil war, throwing Alabasta into the chaos that Crocodile could take advantage of. His ultimate aim was to conquer what remained after a war, taking Alabasta’s prized battleship as a parting gift, before he was ultimately foiled by the Straw Hats. As you can likely tell from the above, Crocodile doesn’t care who he needs to literally bury to carry out his plans. He’s incredibly callous, but not without charisma. He had to front heroism, after all and he made it work for him. I love a villain that can balance endearing qualities with malice, and Crocodile epitomizes this. He was rarely the sort to lose his temper, but those ill fated to be on his bad side have any number of punishments to fear. He’s fed many disappointing henchmen to his massive alligator and life as his right hand was hell for Nico Robin. Crocodile’s composed personality is fueled by his confidence--very few characters would ever inform the infamous Dracule Mihawk, the strongest swordsman in the world, that he’s in a ‘bad mood’ and should buzz off. Fear and doubt is nowhere in his body, but he’s far from reckless. They say arrogance is “I know I’ll win” and confidence is “I’ll be fine if I don’t”, which applies to the nth degree for Crocodile, who is well aware that setbacks are only that, and he has enough plans and ideas in place that the end is never quite the end.

Crocodile also by and large introduces one of the most important aspects of One Piece’s power scaling; the hierarchy of Logia type Devil Fruits. Devil Fruits are sorted into the Logia or Paramecia variety--the latter mutates one’s body (such as Luffy’s Gum Gum powers or Buggy’s Chop Chop), while Logia Devil Fruit users become an embodiment of an element. The likes of Portgas D. Ace, Akainu, and of course, Crocodile, are particularly hard to kill because they can turn their body into a raw, natural material--in Crocodile’s case, sand. It’s this that enabled Crocodile to best Luffy in battle twice, nearly killing him both times. His control over sand allows him to drain someone’s body of water in mere moments, he’s truly terrifying. Crocodile is also one of the most visually striking villains in the series. His massive, golden hook quickly ingrains him with the rest of the universe’s pirates, but his design also blends those qualities with that of a vile mobster. Crocodile’s backstory establishes that he wasn’t unlike Luffy as a youth, but years of chasing his dreams and only coming across failure has jaded him. Grey, scarred, and cynical, Crocodile is a very easy look at what Luffy could become if he keeps running headlong into danger. Seeing dreamers such as Luffy fills Crocodile with disdain, as he makes a strong point of crushing Luffy’s dream in battle.

Luffy defeats Crocodile in battle at long last, poetically so on a third rematch, showing that Luffy’s perseverance truly is the strongest quality that Crocodile lacks. Crocodile was arrested and sent to the maximum security prison, Impel Down, where Luffy would run into him years later on a search for his brother. Crocodile here greets Luffy with a smile. Luffy is angered by the sight of him and even a bit terrified, but Crocodile insists he holds no ill will, which is really true to his realist mentality. Luffy finds an unlikely ally in Crocodile, who wants to join him only for the chance to face Whitebeard, who defeated him years ago. He makes an excellent enemy mine figure for this bit of the story. Come the Marineford battle where everyone is trading punches, Crocodile tries to attack Whitebeard, only to defend him soon after. He claims it’s a matter of “If you can’t kill him, I can’t.”, but you get the idea that the spirit of being a pirate that’s largely at stake in the face of the Navy still runs through him. We probably see Crocodile at his most emotional here--yelling at the injured Whitebeard that he "Wasn't this weak when (he) defeated (him)!", showing his respect for his rival in his own sort of strange way. There’s sort of an honor among thieves that doesn’t even escape Crocodile, who helps Jinbei get Luffy to safety when Akainu is in full swing. In a show with a sea of villainous faces, Crocodile’s penchant for planning and cruelty rolled into a package that was bizarrely hard to hate made him persist in and out of universe. Despite One Piece having enough major villains to easily count on two hands, Crocodile stands largely as the ‘mascot’ villain, which is an incredibly impressive feat.

This is 4th in our series of 2021 price predictions for some of the major coins by market cap. We’ve already outlined our Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Stellar Lumens price projections for 2021. Today will will provide our Chainlink price prediction.

Further down in this article we will go over the details of what exactly Chainlink is and the potential that it offers, but you’re here for a price prediction, and we’re going to get right to it.

As always, we like to review price forecasts made by others in the crypto industry before we provide our own.

Our 2021 Chainlink Price Prediction

We’ve said it before, but it needs to be said again: there is a 4-year cycle in cryptocurrency prices. This cycle is most likely – or at least partially – caused by the Bitcoin halving cycle, which itself is a four year cycle.

This cycle has existed since the creation of Bitcoin. While it certainly could, we see no reason for this cycle to suddenly disappear this year.

Today I’m going to talk about the dungeon change in the new patch. Dungeon and raid are the PVE (player VS environment) game-play content in World of Warcraft since the game was developed. More than 80% of players spend time dungeons.

Original Affix: Since the Legion expansion, Blizzard introduced affix for use in mythic keystone dungeon. Affix is an extra element, which will affect players while they are fighting in dungeons. For example, tyrannical means that BOSS enemies will be specifically enhanced; explosive means that dungeons will spawn explosive balls when players are in combat with enemies. The only change on all original affix is to modify the damage of quaking affix. In earlier expansions quaking affix did a damage of 20% maximum health to everyone, but now in 8.3 it does 40% maximum health damage to every players other than you. In earlier expansion the quaking caused extra death because it could constantly hurt you even you are not in combat; and it could interrupt your eating action. But now everything has changed. Unless you stand in other’s quaking circle, you will not get hit. It’s a truly fix of this bad thing. Cheers!

Seasonal unique affix: Starting from 8.0 expansion every game season has a unique Affix. Cooperating with the awakening of N’Zoth, we have a cool name awakened for the affix. Under this affix, players will defeat 4 servants of N’Zoth which have been awakened from the void. Each servant has an obelisk on map, players need to interact with the obelisk to enter the realm of void. After defeat the servant, a ritual portal will spawn. Players can use this portal to cross back to the realm of lives again. Do you guys have any thought? Yes this is the ‘official’ shroud for us! In early expansions people relied on rogue’s shroud too much to skip pack of mobs they do not want to fight with, and that caused imbalance distribution on classes. Blizzard is trying to fix this imbalance by adding a new style of shroud. What a genius idea! (I love it. First time ever Blizzard do something good)

Voidweaver Mal'thir: This servant comes as a spider, just like its name weaver. Every servant of N’Zoth spawn with their unique minions, for voidweaver we will encounter small beetles. Those beetles will auto attack player who has the highest threat, normally the tank. So DPS players control your fingers after cross into the void realm! Those cute beetles will automatically explode after a period of time, for my own experience it’s every 8 to 10 seconds a beetle will explode, and cause massive damage to a obvious circle marked area around it plus a poisoned effect. Voidweaver itself is more like a mage. It will cast two spells: disease and curse. Both will cause damage for sure, but disease will slow down your movement by 70% and curse will slow down your casting speed by 50%.

Samh'rek, Beckoner of Chaos: I will rank this as the most annoying servant. The beckoner comes with 5 fleshfiend which will attack highest threat player. However, the fleshfiend will cast a non-interruptible bleeding effect on nearest player. That means no matter you have threat or not, DO NOT leave your tank. Tank players should pop your defensive to overcome the stacked bleeding damage and DPS players need to kill those fleshfiends as soon as possible. The beckoner itself also has an ability; it will cast a magic effect on random 3 players. After 2, 4 and 6 seconds those players and any other people standing in 5 yards will be feared for 2 seconds. Healers will have to decide here, dispel tank to avoid tank losing control or dispel yourselves to ensure healing others.

Tips: Personally, as a tank player I would recommend dispelling tanks. Tank will have to pop defensive to overcome the bleeding and keep facing to enemies to avoid hit on back. Damage from back of a tank player will create critical strike (double damage). Once a tank get feared healers may not be able to heal fast enough to save a tank’s life. But if fleshfiends are cleared and tank is in good condition, why not dispel DPS players to defeat the beckoner faster?

Blood of the Corruptor: This is literally like a jelly blob Lol. The blob spawns with 5 tentacles which will constantly cast mind flay on random players. DPS players need to kill tentacles fast to avoid taking too much damage from it. The core ability of this blob servant is defiled ground. After a period of time the blob will pollute a round area on the ground, walking on it will cause massive damage. So the correct way to defeat this blob is to kill tentacles fast before ground is fulling polluted. Of course tank players can pull the blob away to avoid the situation of no place to stand. But that is risky as well, healer has to stay with others to prevent death from damage of tentacles.

Urg'roth, Breaker of Heroes: Read its name you will know exactly what it does… This servant is a breaker of tanks! Urg’roth will rapidly cast spirit breaker (that hurts, trust me) with massive damage and give target a 100% more damage taken debuff on highest threat players. DPS players control your fingers! Sometimes tank player is not the first one who get into the void realm, so Urg’roth may hit players other than the tank if they keep doing damage with a pretty high level of threat. After cast the spirit breaker the servant will cast a massive ranged AOE (area of effect) damage. Jump out the circle and survive, don’t make trouble to your healer. Every servant comes with minions, breaker of heroes will summon malicious growth on ground. It looks like fungi, but way much larger. Those growth fungi will slow down nearby player by 70% and cause damage. Imagine Urg’roth is casting the AOE but you are stuck in between fungi; kill those fungi to clean a path for survival!

How to use the awakened obelisk: First step, design your route. An obelisk can enable a shortcut between two points and help you avoid enemies. Make sure to design a good route to use obelisks and skip those powerful enemies that you don’t want to fight. Next, get in the obelisk. Every obelisk has unique enemies, defeat them after team arrives at designated position. Final step, escape from the realm. A portal will appear on the cold dead body of servants to let you get out of the realm of void. Watch out for patrols when you get out. If the team wants to fight a pack of enemies right out of the portal, always let tank get out first.

Do we have to defeat all obelisks? Yes for sure, even if you do not use an obelisk to skip enemies, enter it and defeat the servant. All the obelisks that you leave there will appear in the fight of final BOSS. That will increase the difficulty of the battle. Imagine you are fighting a tank killer BOSS and the Breaker of Heroes come out… Mommy I don’t want to play as a tank! However, in some dungeons you can leave the voidweaver servant because it will only do extra damage and that can be interrupted. Save DPS cooldown and pop it on servant in BOSS fight to nuke it down. Perfect!
