Something about starting The Bear for SydneyxCarmy, and finishing it for Richie and Carmy.
The conversation about purpose. Richie asks if Carmy ever thinks about purpose and responds, "I love you but I don't have time for this." He looks at him for about 2 seconds and decides whatever it is, he has time for it. Gets a chair, and sits down. And Richie, who's never felt like he belonged anywhere, has someone who loves him enough to make a spot for him. Richie's scared they're all gonna wake up one day, and see him the same way he sees himself and drop him, but surprise surprise, Carmy already sees through all the bs and he still loves him and he still wants him CAUSE THEY'RE FAMILY. Like what am I supposed to do with that?
The "no one's laughing" comment.
Carmy yells horrible things at him through the walk-in door, tells him he's a loser, tells him he hates him and he should have cut him out, brings his daughter into it, and Richie just responds with "I love you" over and over again. LIKE COME ON YOU KNOW I WAS CRYING
Richie used to blow up when people brought his daughter into conversations like that i.e., the stabbing incident. But he knows Carmy, and he knows he pushes people away when they get too close, he knows Carmy doesn't feel like he doesn't deserve to have anything good happen to him, he knows he's waiting for the shoe to drop. I just love the strength that he has to stand there and listen to that and just respond with "I love you." and keep repeating it. He's not trying to reason with him, and he doesn't get upset, he knows Carmy doesn't mean a thing he says in that walk-in, and he's not gonna let Carmy push him away.
i just love them so much that's all
#there's just something about the dynamic where at the start of the show you're like “they hate each other”#and then you're like “OH THEY'RE BROTHERS“#and this is just in the second season#richie's character development is so dear to me#i feel like this is so important cause idk about you but I feel michael's loss the most in scenes between them#the walk-in conversation got me in tears out here#they're family your honor#richie jerimovich#carmy berzatto#richard jerimovich#carmen berzatto#the bear#the bear hulu

You get an unexpected call from an old friend in need of an emergency repair on her opening night.
Good thing: that's kind of your whole gig.
Bad thing: you've been avoiding the Berzatto family since the funeral.
pairing; Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto & Fem Reader, but also like, reader's friends with the entire crew (esp Richie, Syd & posthumously Mikey), so if you're just here for the platonic fun of those dynamics, pls enjoy!
tasting notes; slowest of slow burns, semi-strangers (you'll see) to friends to lovers. lot of hurt/comfort. there will be angst, cause it's FX's The Bear.
portion; in progress!!
recommended listening; handmade spotify playlist.
faq; if you got some Qs
kofi; tip your repairman! if you want.
possible allergies; fully spoils the entire series (par for season 3, as I'm writing this ahead of release, so, p.s if you're from the future: off-canon). I've never written smut before and I couldn't tell you if I'm gonna be willing to try by the end of this-- So if that's your thing, temper thine expectations! Mikey is very central to the reader's background-- which is also quite padded, so def prep the brain for a more in-depth look at his passing and struggles w/ addiction. No Y/N, just a FUCK ton of nicknames.

WILDFLOWER
Carmen Berzatto x Reader
Angst
Notes: I started watching the third season of The Bear and my love for Carmen returned.
Summary: When Carmen compares Y/n to Claire on a stressful day, he almost ruins everything with the woman in his life.
Carmen Berzatto was never a kid with many friends. In fact, he didn't have any for a big part of his life, until you came along. The principal and teachers thought you were too advanced for your grade and bumped you up a year, where Carmen was. Berzatto never imagined a girl as pretty as you would be his friend. He thought you’d hang out with Claire or the cool kids, but no, you obviously became friends with everyone, especially Claire, but mostly with him. It was you and Carmen. After school ended, your friendship lasted six years until he moved to New York and came back when Michael committed suicide. At first, things started off well again. You worked in your family’s marketing business, filming and promoting restaurants with creative and interesting videos. Carmen needed you to promote The Bear. You two started getting close again. Suddenly, you were helping him late at the restaurant, joining him and the crew for family meals, and then he asked you out, thanks to Richie pushing him to do it, and that’s how you got to where you are now. Maybe it was a bit early, but after a few long months, your lease ended, and without thinking much about it, you ended up moving in with Carmen. He was always working, so you didn’t get in his way, and he didn’t get in the way of your editing work. You didn’t have much to complain about. Every night, Carmen would come home, you two would shower together, helping him relax, and fall asleep watching something. Until it wasn’t like that anymore. You were always a clingy person since childhood. Your parents told you that, but never in a bad way. You always thought it was okay to show love through touch and words of affirmation, until Carmen seemed bothered by it. He started showering alone, saying he’d be with you soon. He’d let go of your hand on the couch and sit farther away than usual. The messages you used to send, which he said he loved because they relaxed his mind when the restaurant was chaotic, he no longer seemed to appreciate. You tried to make sure he was okay with all your emotions before starting a relationship, and Carmen assured you he was, even saying your touch calmed him and he’d never felt that way with Claire. Claire was never a tough subject between you two, but it was inevitable for you not to feel a pang of jealousy knowing Carmen sought her out before you.
It was almost eight in the morning, and that morning Carmen had left in a rush after oversleeping. While you were organizing things at home, his chef's coat appeared in front of you, and without much doubt, you realized he had left without it, which was almost unacceptable. You grabbed the coat and drove to the restaurant, not knowing that Carmen was having a bad day and taking it out on everyone in the kitchen. Entering through the back doors, your eyes widened at the commotion coming from the kitchen. You passed Marcus, who smiled and raised his eyebrows at you.— You need to calm your man down. He said, handing you a small bag and letting you pass. Walking through the kitchen, you passed by Sydney, who shook her head in disapproval, with Richie right behind her, clapping his hands.
— S/n, the cousin's losing it. If I were you, I wouldn’t go in there, but I think you’re our only hope.
Richie said, hugging you tight and lifting your feet off the ground, causing you to let out a low laugh that made Carmen look out of his office, seeing you in Richie’s arms. Carmen's neck vein popped out for no reason, feeling jealous of your friendship with Richie, which had never happened in the fourteen years of friendship. Now, his already bad day seemed worse. Carmen, without thinking, walked over to you both, and as Richie let go of you, he grabbed his coat from your hand roughly, turned his back, and ran his fingers through his oily hair that hadn’t been washed properly, unlike when you washed it. Yesterday, he had skipped your shower together. — Maybe a thank you would be great. You said, following him through the kitchen with Richie behind you like a loyal puppy.
— She brought it for you, cousin.
— Yeah, big deal. He muttered, and you stopped in your tracks, tensing at his harsh tone.
— Leave this to me, Richie, thanks. You turned to the older man, who nodded and stepped away, ensuring that if you called for help, he’d come running.
You slowly approached Carmen, who was at the counter cutting vegetables, and leaned on one arm to look at him. — Hey, babe, what’s wrong?
Your soft, calm voice, which usually soothed Carmen, made him swallow hard in irritation.
When you got no response or even a glance, your smile fell into a disappointed sigh. — Are you okay?
— Yeah, I’m fine, Y/n. Another robotic response.
— Okay, are you mad because you woke up late?
— Your hair’s gonna fall into the ingredients. His voice raised rudely, and you widened your eyes, taking a hair clip from your bag strap and tying your hair up. — There, better? Your voice stayed calm and low, not letting the others in the kitchen hear what you were saying, always the opposite of Carmen in bad moments. — Can you at least look at me when you talk to me, please?
You asked, and the knife in Carmen’s hand stopped. His fiery gaze landed on you, and you didn’t know if you’d ever felt such a strong urge to cry from a look before. — I don’t wanna talk to you, Y/n. I didn’t ask you to come here. Carmen’s harsh words escaped, and you frowned. You knew he hadn’t called you, but you knew him well enough to know he was freaking out about not having a coat.
— Excuse me? Why are you acting like a child? I know you didn’t call me here, you jerk, but all your coats were at home, and I brought one for you.
— I don’t care what you say. I don’t want you here. Didn’t you notice that? I don’t even know if I want you in my bed anymore. Carmen’s words gradually softened until his last words came out as a confession that made your eyes fill with tears. — Stop being so clingy, for fuck’s sake. Claire was never like that. Carmen exploded, causing the kitchen to fall into an awkward silence.
— Well, maybe you should call Claire then, Carmen. You said, biting the inside of your cheek, feeling like you were being stabbed in the chest. And you couldn’t stop thinking that Claire had always been the center of Carmen’s attention as teenagers, why wouldn’t she be now?
Maybe I will, maybe I’ll call her and say my annoying girlfriend is being a pain in the ass at my fucking job. At least Claire didn’t stick to me like glue when I got home and knew how to respect my space. She did something useful at work, for fuck’s sake. Carmen yelled, and your throat formed a huge lump, knowing you’d either cry like a baby in front of him or outside, and you preferred to do it away from his eyes.
— Go fuck yourself, Carmen. You said, turning your back on your boyfriend, refusing to look at him with tear-filled eyes again. Walking through the kitchen, Richie came up to you with wide eyes, stopping you midway, but you just pushed him aside, making him run to Carmen with his hands on his head.
— What the FUCK did you just do, cousin? FUCK. That woman is the love of your life, damn it. Look at what you just said to her, you idiot. Richie yelled in Carmen’s face, who looked at his friend with his hands on his face as regret hit him. It was like while he was saying all those nasty things to the girl he loved most, his mind was clouded with adrenaline and anger, not at her, but at the pressure he was feeling that ended up being dumped on her. Running out of the restaurant, trying to catch up with you, but it was too late, and you had already disappeared.
When night came, Carmen walked into the house, and immediately when the emptiness greeted him, his chest felt heavy with regret again. There were no warm kisses, whispered caresses in his oily curls from spending all day at the restaurant, and no you, tiny and eager to try the food he’d brought for you to taste. He approached your shared bedroom and saw you curled up under the covers, hugging a pillow that used to be him. You never slept before he got home, and immediately, the fear of losing you hit Carmen, who got in the shower and felt his tears fall as he thought about how stupid he’d been to treat the person who made him feel safe and good after Michael left so badly.
After he got out of the shower, Carmen knelt by your side of the bed and gently caressed your cheek with his thumb, making you stir briefly and open your eyes quickly. Your usually bright eyes were red from crying so much, and it was impossible for Carmen not to notice. In a leap, you pulled away from his touch and sat up in bed, avoiding his gaze.
— I brought food for you. Carmen said, and you just shook your head, lying back down, unable to really sleep again.
— I’m not hungry, thanks. You murmured weakly, and Carmen wanted to slap himself for treating his sweet girl so badly. Even after hurting you, you thanked him when he couldn’t even properly apologize.
— I… I’m sorry, sweetheart. Carmen said, looking at your back and only receiving a nod. You knew your voice would crack from the tears starting to fall again, and you didn't want to give him the satisfaction of seeing you cry anymore. Carmen's heart sank at your lack of response, feeling the weight of his words crushing him. — I didn't mean it, any of it. I was just... I'm an idiot, and I took everything out on you. You didn't deserve that. You never do.
He whispered, his voice trembling with genuine regret. You stayed silent, trying to process his words. You wanted to forgive him, but the pain was still fresh. — Please, look at me, Y/n. I can't stand seeing you like this.
Carmen pleaded, his hand reaching out to touch you again, but stopping midway, unsure if it was welcome.
— Do you know how much it hurts to hear that from the person you love the most? You finally spoke, your voice breaking, making Carmen wince at the raw emotion in your words.
— I know, and I'm so, so sorry. I don't know how to make it right, but I'll do anything. Just don't leave me, please. Carmen's desperation was evident, and you slowly turned to face him, seeing the genuine remorse in his eyes. It was hard to stay mad at someone who looked so broken.
— I just need you to be honest with me. If you need space, say it. If something's wrong, tell me...— You stopped for a second, apprehensive — Can I ask you something? Do you see her in the back of your mind all the time wishing I were her? You asked, sniffling, and immediately Carmen shook his head. — Because I see her, and I can't keep on someone's place.
— Claire and I didn't work out because she couldn't stand me, and I couldn't stand her. You're the reason I wake up every day, knowing I'm going to come back from the restaurant to here and you'll be here is what makes me want to keep going, Y/n. Claire didn't do that, she never did. I'm sorry. He whispered pulling you into his arms in a hug. — I love you, Y/n. I'm sorry for making you doubt that.
— I love you too, Carmy. But I swear if you make me feel this shit again, I'll leave you forever, that's your only chance to do the right things, Carmen
— I promise. I'll be better. I don't ever want to lose you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. He confessed, his eyes filled with tears. You sighed. and Carmen hugged you tighter as he mumbled several apologies in a row.
— Can we take a nap now, please? I can't sleep without you.
— But what about the restaurant?
— They can handle lunch without me. He said, picking you up and carrying you to the neatly made bed.

Rich to me is always the friends to lovers (everybody sees it but you two) it’s him yelling “behind” at everyone but sliding behind you with a hand on your hip “behind sweetheart” it’s you walking into the group of boys smoking outside & u bypass everyone to grab a smoke straight from his lips “thanks babe” it’s family having no empty chairs at the table so you sit on his lap while Syd & carm just stare. I think you’d bring my wish to life beautifully written. I need all the build up to the smut
can i just say that richie is definitely the type to be a jagoff to everyone, but never to you - everyone else knew how to work his last nerve, but you and your cutesy smile and bright eyes would make him all warm and fuzzy for sure
explicit sexual content ahead
it was no secret to anyone who worked at the restaurant (or had eyes) that you and richie had a ‘special’ kind of relationship. for starters, it wasn’t common for a hotheaded man, like richie jerimovich, to be so touchy and lovey-dovey with anyone. i mean, not even his ex-wife got to see that side of him often, and they shared a child. however there was something about you that just made richie feel as though he needed to be around you, protect you, handle you tenderly.
maybe it was because you were younger than him - fuck if he knew, all richie knew in his heart of hearts was that he had it bad for you.
things between you two started off gradually, “gotta get past you, sweetheart,” the older man rasped, the warm and calloused palm of his hand gently cradling the small of your lower back as he made his way past you, his tall frame easily reaching over you to grab ahold of a pot from the top cabinet.
you’d simply nod wordlessly, keeping your eyes trained forward in an effort to conceal the blush that rose to your cheeks.
after weeks of comfortability that increased between the two of you, you decided you’d test the waters. you’d watched carefully as he made his way out of the back door that led behind the building of the beef. quickly scanning over the not-so-busy environment of the restaurant, you walked away from the cash register, towards the back exit of the beef.
“i’ll be back in ten!” you called out, earning a mumble of approval from carmy and sydney who were entirely too engrossed in a conversation about expanding the menu.
the moment you’d exited the restaurant, the unforgiving cold winter chicago air bit at you, causing you to hiss as you quickly folded your arms tightly over your chest, your fitted ‘the beef’ t-shirt lifting a bit as you turned to find richie leaned against the brick wall.
he was so rugged and laid back, it drove you insane. his hoodie remained open, revealing the matching t-shirt that clung to his slim abdomen, one of his hands shoved in the pocket of his adidas track pants, while the other held a cigarette to his lips. richie didn’t notice your presence yet, too involved in a conversation with sweeps and marcus.
you’d decided it would be the perfect time to push the envelope, walking directly past marcus and sweeps as you approached richie, a flutter now swirling in your stomach as he raised his eyebrows at you, cigarette loosely held between his sharp teeth.
you two held eye contact for a beat, before you gently grabbed the cigarette from his mouth, before raising it to sit sit between the swell of your lips, taking a quick pull from the cigarette, “thanks babe,” you exhaled with a sweet close-mouthed smile.
all richie could do was swallow thickly, nodding to himself before he returned his attention back to the conversation at hand, softly swatting the side of your thigh when he decided that it was time for you to return the cigarette.
it was then, that things started to reach a whole new level of touchiness and couple-like actions between you and richie.
today was family. your second-most favorite day of the week, aside from payday. you were a bit late to the function, courtesy of your hair appointment, walking into the main room of the restaurant, instantly being greeted with a chorus of differing ‘hello’s’.
“hi, m’sorry for being late, my hair girl was late!” you rushed to explain, shrugging off richie’s your zip-up hoodie as you glanced around the room, seeing that all seats were occupied, “oh.”
sydney’s eyes widened as she shared the same realization, “fuck, uh, maybe we can get you an extra seat from the office, i-” she began, taking a bit too long, leaving richie no choice, but to come up with a solution of his own.
“s’nothing syd, she can sit with me,” richie spoke with a careless shrug, his mouth full of pasta as he looked up at you, swallowing his food before continuing, “c’mon, sweetheart.”
you obliged, your lips suddenly running dry as you walked towards richie’s seat, softly grabbing his outstretched hand as he gently guided your hips to sit comfortably against his.
you slightly shifted your hips, sending a shock to your clit as his bulge deliciously sat flush against your ass, “thanks, richie,” you muttered, focusing your gaze on the pasta dish that sat before you.
richie leaned back into his seat, the suddenly awkward silence of the dining room now becoming a bit too apparent to him. shaking his head, richie kept one of his arms loosely hung around you, before clearing his throat.
“yo, i don’t know why the fuck everyone is being fuckin’ quiet,” he huffed, his eyes now landing on carmy and sydney, before he sighed, “cousin, just say what the fuck you’re grateful for already!”
it wasn’t long before everyone returned to their normal conversations, about twenty minutes passing, before richie decided to lean in close to you, bringing his lips to your ear.
“m’ready to get the fuck outta here.”
and that’s how you ended up in the driver’s seat of richie’s car, his seat fully reclined back, one hand gripping the back of your neck, while the other guided your hips to bounce hard against his.
“ah, fuck - y’gonna make me cum in you if you keep fuckin’ me like that, sweetheart,” richie groaned, moving the hand that guided your hips to your back, pushing you further into his chest as he fucked up into you.
your face was in his neck, throaty moans and gasps leaving your lips as you sloppily kissed and sucked at the skin of his neck, the sound of your hips slapping into each other mixed with the squelch and slurp of your wet pussy taking his length leaving you a needy mess.
you were so close to reaching your peak, your pulsing hole clenching around richie’s dick as his thrust remained forceful and rough, “i can fuckin’ feel you around me, baby, y’want me to make you cum, yeah,” he chuckled, leaning his head against the headrest as he brought his hand to your hip, grinding your hips flush against his in circular motions.
“fuck, richie,” was all you could mewl through your gritted teeth, your stomach tight as your clit rubbed against the wet skin of his pelvis.
“keep ridin’ me, sweetheart,” he whispered, pecking your flexed temple as he forced your hips deeps against his, “just keep fuckin’ ridin’ me.”
yeah, your relationship with your coworker was far from orthodox, but neither of you seemed to get enough of it. nor, did you want to.

date crasher
pairing: carmy berzatto x reader
summary: carmy and you have been broken up for years, but continued to be very good friends. that works fine until carmy hears that you have a date.
word count: 1.5k
“Are you sure you can’t stay a little longer?” Carmy asked you, leaning against the doorframe of the office. You shook your head, knowing he wasn’t done trying to convince you.
“Marcus is almost done making those donuts I was telling you about. They’re blueberry, your favorite. You’d love them.” He said, trying to persuade you. You frowned at him. “I just came to give you these. I can’t stay. I’m sorry.” You said, grabbing a bag out of your purse and handing it to him.
His fingers ghosted over yours as he accepted the bag. “You brought me muffins from my favorite bakery. Thank you. You’re the best.” He said, pulling you in to a side hug.
You both lingered, not wanting to pull away. Then, Richie appeared in the doorway. “Oh, hey, I didn’t know you were here.” Richie said, waving at you. You smiled back at him. “Hey, Richie. I was just about to leave.” You said, earning a frown from Carmy.
“Can I walk you out?” Carmy asked, resting his hand on the back on your arm. You nodded, smiling at him. “Bye, Richie, it was nice to see you.” You said, giving him a quick hug as you and Carmy walked past him.
You and Carmy silently walked to your car. His hand grazed against yours, causing your skin to tingle.
You got to your car and leaned backwards against the driver’s door. “Are you sure you have to leave? I miss you.” Carmy said, softly. You gave his hand a quick squeeze.
“Yeah, I gotta head back to my apartment to get ready—” You said. You tried to stop yourself from admitting too much. “Get ready for what?” Carmy asked, curiously. You crossed your arms and sighed.
“I have a date tonight.” You said, hesitantly. Carmy’s shock was written on his face. You and Carmy didn’t talk about your love lives. Your relationship was tricky enough being lovers turned exes turned friends, so you usually didn’t talk about dating.
“Oh,” he said, failing to mask his disappointment. He saw how nervous you looked. “No, I don’t mean it like that. That’s really great. I hope you have a good time.” He said. The lie wasn’t convincing.
“Thank you, Carm. We’ll talk later, okay?” You asked him. He quickly nodded and pulled you in to a hug. You got into your car and waved at Carmy as you drove away.
After Carmy got home, all he could think about you was going on a date. He knew that it was your business and he shouldn’t care, but he couldn’t help it.
He worried about you. He always wanted to keep you safe.
Every time he thought about it, he felt a twinge of jealousy. The thought of somebody putting their hands on you made him shudder.
You had just finished getting ready for your date. You adjusted your hair and slipped on your heels.
You heard a knock at your front door. You grabbed your purse and your phone and went towards the door. You opened your door, expecting your date. Instead, you were face to face with Carmy.
“Carmy, what’re you doing here?” You asked him, in shock. His eyes slowly ran down your body, admiring your outfit. “Wow,” he mumbled under his breath.
You felt your heart flutter a little as he watched you. Carmy always looked at you like you were a supermodel. “You look…amazing,” he said. He was almost speechless.
“Thank you, Carmy,” you said, bashfully. He reached out to grab your hand and spun you around in a circle.
“Carm, seriously. Why’re you here?” You asked him. Before he could answer you, you noticed someone walking up behind him.
It was your date.
“Oh, uh…hey,” your date said, glancing between you and Carmy.
“Oh, ummm Jonathon, this is my friend Carmy. Carmy, this is Jonathon, my date.” You said, introducing the both of them. Carmy clenched his jaw as he looked Jonathon up and down.
“Oh, your date tonight! I totally forgot. I’m so sorry. I just wanted to talk to you about something, but I don’t want to interrupt.” Carmy lied through his teeth. You glared at him, knowing he fully remembered your date.
You looked in between Carmy and Jonathon. “You two talk. I’ll go wait in the car when you’re ready.” Jonathon started to say. You quickly shook your head and grabbed his hand.
“No no, you’re okay. Carmy, we’ll talk tomorrow, okay? It’s not an emergency, right?” You asked him, firmly. You knew it was a tricky topic between the two of you, but you weren’t going to let Carmy sabotage your date.
You reached over and grabbed Jonathon’s hand. You watched Carmy’s grip tighten on his phone in his hand. He glared over at Jonathon. “I really need to talk to you.” Carmy said, urgently.
“I’ll give you both a minute.” Jonathon said, walking away. You crossed your arms as you faced Carmy.
“So, an emergency, huh? And you forgot about my date?” You asked him, glaring at him.
“I’m sorry. I really wasn’t trying to make you upset.” He quickly apologized when he realized you were annoyed. You continued to stare at him, waiting for him to explain.
“Please don’t go on this date.” He begged you. He reached out to grab your hands, but you stepped away from him. “Hold on, Carmy. What’re you talking about?” You asked.
“Can you please just do me this one favor?” Carmy asked you. You could see the desperation in his eyes. It was like his life depended on it.
“Why, Carmy? I need to know what you’re talking about.” You told him. Your mind was racing trying to figure out why Carmy didn’t want you to go on the date.
Carmy pushed his hair out of his face. He took a deep breath. “I have no right to try to stop you, I know that. But, I was thinking about you going on this date, and then it hit me. I still love you, and I shouldn’t drop this on you like this. But, you’re the only person I imagine myself with and the only person I want to spend time with.” He confessed, grabbing your hands.
You could feel your eyes go wide. It felt too good to be true. “Carm, this is…” you were at a loss for words.
“Crazy, I know, trust me,” he said, finishing your thought.
“We haven’t been together in five years, and you just want to jump back into this?” You asked him, still in shock.
Carmy shrugged. You leaned back against the wall, trying to process everything he was saying. “I don’t know. I just know when I hang out with you, I never want to leave. And I think about you all the time. And the thought you with another guy kills me.” He told you.
He searched your eyes for any clue as to how you were feeling. “Carmy, this is a lot to think about,” you hesitated. Carmy stepped back from you, realizing he was overwhelming you.
“I’m sorry to ambush you like this. You should go on your date, but just please think about it.” Carmy said, before turning to leave.
You fixed your hair and took a deep breath before going to find Jonathon.
Carmy sulked back to his apartment. After four hours had past, he knew it was too late for you two. He called Richie and ranted about the whole situation. Richie told him he’d come over right away.
Carmy tried to watch tv, but his mind lingered to thoughts of you. He’d lost you for the second time. Somehow, it hurt even worse than the first time. Now, he knew you were really gone.
He heard a knock at the door and got up to answer it. He was relieved to have Richie to talk to. It was one of the only times Richie wasn’t arguing with Carmy.
Richie knew how much Carmy loved you, even after all these years. So, he knew how devastated Carmy was.
Carmy opened the door, but he wasn’t looking at Richie.
You were standing in front of him. You were out of breath from running to Carmy’s apartment.
“Of course it’s always been you. I just needed time to think.” You exclaimed. The tension and stress left Carmy’s body. He leaped forward towards you. His hands grabbed your waist as he kissed you.
He ran his thumbs against the satin fabric of your dress. You wrapped your arms around Carmy’s neck. His lips moved quickly and desperately across yours.
You both had years to catch up on.
He softly nipped at your bottom lip. It’d been years, but he was already jumping back into old habits. You grinned against the kiss.
You never wanted to forget the way his curls felt in your fingers or the way he always tasted like a mix of spearmint and cigarettes.
“Looks like I don’t need to cheer you up,” you both heard someone say at the end of the hallway.
You both quickly pulled apart. With his arms around your waist, Carmy pulled you behind him, protecting you.
You both realized it was Richie.
“I’m glad you both pulled your heads out of your asses.” Richie said, chuckling.
“Yeah, me too.” You said, wrapping your arm around Carmy’s shoulders and kissing his cheek.

under pressure
You were going to kill Richie. Strangle him until he was blue in the face. What sane person would send someone 47 texts while they were at work?
The door to the Bear was locked but you pounded on it until Fak answered it. “(Y/n)! What are you doing here?” He genuinely looked happy to see you.
“Hi Fak. Where the fuck is Richie?” You got straight to the point.
“He’s uh, in the back I think.” Fak knew better than to keep babbling on when you were upset.
You walked across the recently buffed floor to find the tall motherfucker that doesn’t know basic texting etiquette. Once you walked into the kitchen, it was pure chaos. There was shouting (mostly coming from Richie).
“Richie!” You yelled causing everyone to stop in their tracks.
Richie’s eyes widened a little, “Hey-“
You moved towards him and immediately shut him up, “You texted me 47 times! My phone literally froze from all of the texts! What the fuck is wrong with you?!”
“What’s wrong with me?! I was textin’ you because your boy is losing his fuckin’ mind!” Richie shouted back.
“What the hell are you talking about?”
Richie grabbed a piece of paper off the counter, “Look at this shit! He’s changing the menu every fuckin’ day and also has this bullshit list of non-negotiables.”
You grabbed the paper from him (more like snatched it) and quickly glanced over it. It did in fact seem like Carmen was losing his mind.
“This doesn’t give you an excuse to text me like I owe you money or something!” You handed him the paper back (more like threw it) and made your way to the back in search of Carmen. He wasn’t in the office or near the lockers. You opened the back door and he was leaning against the wall.
He looked up when he heard the door opening and was surprised to see you. “Hey, I thought you were comin’ later tonight.”
“That was the plan but Richie is a dick.”
Carmen chuckled and reached out for you. You set your bag on a nearby box and let him pull you closer. He rested his head on your shoulder, “I think I’m fuckin’ this up.”
“And by “this” you mean the restaurant?”
He nodded a little against you, “Everything is fucked.”
“It did seem a little chaotic in there today. Richie said you want to change the menu every day?”
“It’s what the best restaurants do. It’s insane, I know but we have to try.”
“Doesn’t it seem a little insane to try that though?”
“It’ll be worth it. I don’t want to let anyone down. Everyone’s countin’ on me. I want to get Syd a star. I want to help Richie and Fak. Tina. And Marcus-“
You placed your hand on the back of his head soothingly. “I know, Carm.”
“I can’t disappoint everyone. I don’t want to disappoint you.”
“Carm, you make me proud each and every day. What you do in that kitchen is magical. Sure, sometimes a little dramatic,” that made him laugh, “but you’re amazing at what you do. This place, it’ll start off bumpy, it wouldn’t be easy. But once you all settle into your groove, people will be fighting to get into this place.”
Carmen tightened his grip on you and took a deep breath. He lifted his head and looked at you. You could see the anxiety practically written on his face. He was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. You wanted so badly to take the burden off of him.
“I don’t know what I’d do without you.” He mumbled before kissing you softly.
“You’d have to deal with Richie’s crazy ass by yourself.”
Carmen laughed again and rested his forehead against yours, “What a nightmare.” You loved looking into his beautiful blue eyes.
“When Sugar is out on maternity leave, I want to step in to help.”
Carmen was a little surprised about what you said, “Really? But- but what about your job?”
“I’ve talked to my boss. I’m going to use some vacation time and then reduce my hours so that I can do both.”
“No, (Y/n). I can’t have you spreadin’ yourself so thin. I don’t want you stressed.”
“I’m going to be fine. I want to be here with you and to help the others.”
“(Y/n)-“
“Carmy, I’m not taking no for an answer. Don’t you want me around more? I’ll take some stress off of your plate. I’ll be here late nights with you with no one else around…” you trailed off hoping he’d catch the hint.
He smiled a little bit, “Late nights?”
You nodded, “Yes, late nights.”
“I like the idea of that.”

“Alright baby, I’m off to work.” Carmen announces as walks over to you in the kitchen. He places a hand on your bump rubbing it gently before kissing your forehead.
“Actually, Carmy?” You said making him go back to face you.
“What’s wrong baby?” He asked as he softly cupped your face worriedly. You smiled at him being so protective of you.
“Can I come with you today? I’m tired of being home by myself.” You said with pleading eyes.
Carmen sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. “Are you sure babe? I don’t want you getting tired of being bored at the place. Plus, you should be resting.” Carmen loves when you come along with him to work, but with your hormones being more stronger and you being more sensitive, he hesitated. You literally started to cry over tying your shoe because your stomach was in the way.
You pouted, “Please Carmy? I promise I won’t cause trouble I just wanna be with you, I get sad when I’m alone here.” Your eyes were already watering making Carmen panic.
“Okay, okay baby, don’t get upset. I hate when you get upset, it hurts me. Of course you can come, but if things to start to overwhelm you, you tell me okay?” You nodded making him smile and peck your lips. He grabbed your hand as the two you of walked out of the apartment.
“Look who finally showed up!” Richie announced as Carmen walked in with you, Carmen rolled his eyes.
“Shut the fuck Richie, get to work.” Carmen shook his head as he led you through the kitchen.
“What brings you here sweets?” Richie asked you as he gave you a hug, you smiled.
“Didn’t feel like staying home, I need to get out and enjoy life before the little one comes.” Richie nodded as he continued to work.
Tina smiled as she walked up to you giving you a hug and a kiss before rubbing your bump. “How are you doing mama? Baby doing good?”
You smiled at Tina’s comfort, “Healthy baby, but it’s killing me.” You whined making Tina frown.
“Aye, poor thing. You need anything?”
“Not right now, I’m okay thank you.” Carmen yelled something at the others, as you walked towards his office.
“Oh, hey Y/N!” You quickly turned to see Sydney waving, you quickly smiled at you and gave her a hug.
“Hey Syd! How you doing?”
“Good, good, and you?”
“Ugh, it’s hard dealing with a fetus in your stomach.” You joked as you rubbed your bump.
“Well hey, almost time y’know?”
You nodded with a smile, “I can’t wait.” You quickly said goodbye as Carmen led you to sit in his office chair.
“You hungry or anything?” He asked you as he ran a hand over your back, you shook your head.
“Not at the moment.” You shrugged
“Alright, let me know if anything.” He quickly gave you a kiss to your lips making you sigh.
“Love you.” You said with a smile making him smile back.
“Love you more.”
It’s been over two hours already and you starting to get cranky. You were whining as you had your head down. Your back was killing you and you felt a headache coming on from the heat from the kitchen. You whined as you slowly got up before wincing as your back started to hurt. You rubbed your bump as you opened the office door entering the kitchen.
“Guys, I fucking told you a million times! Get your shit together, I’m not fucking playing!” Carmen yelled as everyone yelled “Yes Chef!” In unison. Carmen sighed before he spotted you with a frown on your face.
“Hey baby, you okay? What’s wrong?” He cupped your face as he examined your features.
“I’m getting hungry carm, it’s hot I’m dying! And my back is hurting!” You said a little too loud, Carmen cursed in his mind knowing you were getting cranky.
“I’m sorry babe, you wanna sit by the booths? You might cool off better there. And you want something to eat?” He led you to the entrance of the diner, before you stopped him.
“No Carmen, nothing is helping me. I’m tired and hungry and it’s making me upset!” You could feel tears forming making Carmen cringe.
“Hey, hey, hey. Relax, I know baby. I’m sorry that you’re going through this. Just take a deep breath and I’ll make you something to eat, what do you feel like having, hm?” He said softly not wanting to make you more upset, he quickly rubbed your back making you whimper as small tears fell down your face.
“I-I I don’t know what I want to eat! Basically anything I eat makes me puke! I can’t take it anymore!” You were starting to get more loud making everyone in the kitchen look at you and Richie finally blew it.
“Jesus Christ! Why did you even come if you’re gonna act like a bitch?” Richie yelled from the other side, everyone turned to look at Richie who had a frown on his face.
“Richie!” Carmen yelled back at his cousin making Richie shake his head.
“Nah! Because why the fuck is she here if she’s gonna be bitchy about everything? Make that make sense to me!”
“Richie, you better shut the fuck up! She’s pregnant, I don’t care if she’s here or not! Don’t make me fucking hurt you cousin!”
“Let me see you try, jagoff.” Richie said with a sarcastic chuckle. Carmen’s eyes twitched.
“Don’t even start with me Richie! You’re the fucking jagoff, don’t start with that bullshit I-
Carmen stopped his yelling when he heard a sniffle and a whimper. Everyone turned to look at you, tears fell down your face as you hiccuped.
“I-I’m sorry.” You said through broken sobs, everyone just froze as they watched you cry.
“Baby.” Carmen said softly as he quickly walked over to you. “Hey, look at me.” You pushed his hands away as you shook your head. You then turned around and walked over to the back door, you opened the door as you went outside to the cool breeze.
Everyone just stood there in silence, then looked at Richie.
“What the fuck is wrong with you Richie! How dare you do such a thing to that poor girl! She’s pregnant for god sake!” Tina yelled at Richie as she slapped his arm with a frown.
“Not cool Richie, seriously.” Marcus said with a shook of his head as he followed Tina outside.
“Do better Richie, honestly.” Sydney said as she followed the rest outside to console you.
Richie just stood there frozen with his mouth slightly opened.
“What the fuck is your problem!?!” Carmen roared as he shoved Richie into a wall nearby, making Richie stumble.
“Chill Carmen!”
“No, you chill! How are you gonna say that to her huh?!?! Don’t you have a kid?!?! Didn’t you deal with this too?!? How dare you come at Y/N like that! She didn’t deserve that shit! She’s seven fucking months pregnant! Of course she’s gonna feel like shit!” All Carmen saw was red as his shoulders rose up and down from his yelling rant. His heart was pounding as his hand shook under Richie’s shirt he had a grip on.
“Chill the fuck out Carmen! I’m sorry, that just came over me! I mean it! I didn’t mean for that happen, I just let my inner thoughts get to me! I know she didn’t deserve that. I’m sorry alright?” Richie said in a calming voice to get Carmen to calm down.
Carmen gave him a glare as he let go his shirt, “You better fucking apologize to her, not me. Understand?” Richie nodded with hands in surrender, Carmen huffed as he first walked outside, Richie behind him.
You had your head buried in your hands as Tina comforted you, your head rested on her shoulder as she rubbed your back in comfort , your shoulders shook with each sob.
“I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for-for that to-to happen.” You whimpered, making Tina shake her head.
“Nonsense mija, you are carrying a child. You have every right to feel this way. Richie is being an asshole, don’t let him get to you mama.”
You removed your hand away from your face before looking up to see Carmen and Richie. Tina moved away but not before giving your head a peck as she told everyone to go back inside, leaving you, Carmen, and Richie alone.
You looked down at your feet, not making eye contact with either of the men. Carmen didn’t say anything as he walked up to you and wrapped his arms around you.
You couldn’t help but feel more tears fall down as you softly cried into his chest. Carmen softly shushed you as he rubbed your back knowing it was hurting you. He whispered sweet nothing in your ear as he kissed your head and forehead repeatedly.
“I-I I’m sorry, I didn’t m-mean for this to happen.” You said through hiccups, Carmen shook his head.
“Hey, no, stop that. This wasn’t your fault baby. You’re pregnant, you have every right to be mad, upset, and sad. This is a hard time for you. But you should’ve stayed home baby. It’s always chaotic here, and I don’t want that to overwhelm you. I want you to be okay and feel comfortable. I know it’s hard for you, but I’m here always for you okay?”
He cupped your face making you look up at him, your lip trembled as tears fell down your cheeks. He quickly wiped them away, before kissing your lips a few times. He gave you a hug making you wrap your arms around his waist, enjoying his touch.
“I love you, y’know that?” He said softly in your ear making you nod in his chest. He swayed you back and forth before facing Richie, who had a frown on his face.
“I think Richie has something to say to you too.” Carmen said softly making you open your eyes to see Richie with a sad frown. He cleared his throat before speaking.
“I’m sorry for what I said to you Y/N, I really am. I admit I was being a jagoff and all that shit I said was wrong and that you don’t deserve that. But, I hope you can forgive me because you’re my family and I don’t want to hurt you like that again.”
You actually felt another set of tears coming at Richie’s apology, you loved Richie as family. You hated what he said to you, but how can you not forgive him.
“Oh Richie, of course I forgive you. I’m sorry that I triggered you to go off on me. I’m sorry, you’re a sweet man and I know you didn’t mean it.” You hiccuped as you walked over to Richie before wrapping your arms around his waist bringing him into a hug. Richie’s eyes went wide, not expecting you to forgive him so easily. He tensed up as you hugged him, but quickly relaxed and wrapped his arms around you.
“I’m sorry kid, really. I was an asshole for that.” He said softly as he rubbed your back in comfort making you look up at him with a smile. You stood on your tippy toes before pecking his cheek with a smile making him smile back at you. You turned to face Carmen who walked over to you and Richie.
“Don’t pull that shit again cousin or I swear I will beat your ass.” Richie rolled his eyes at him.
“Yeah, yeah cousin, I got it. Jesus.” He shook his head making you chuckle a bit at the two men.
“You still hungry baby?” Carmen asked you as the three of you walked back into the kitchen. You nodded your head at that.
“I’m having those cravings again actually.” You said as you held onto Carmen’s hand. He led you to the booths in the front, Carmy smiled.
“What’s the craving today?” Carmen said as the two of you sat down at a booth.
“Pickles and ice cream.” You said with a smile making Carmen give you a disgusting look. You smacked his arm before laughing.
“How the fuck do you enjoy that?” He said as he got up, you laughed.
“It’s not me, it’s the baby!” You put your hands up in surrender.
“Sure it is baby.” He said with a smile before leaning down to kiss you before entering the kitchen.
“Marcus! Get me a cup of the ice cream you made and Tina! Get me some pickles! Y/N is having her weird ass cravings again!”
“Carmen! Don’t announce it to everyone!

knee socks - carmen berzatto x waitress reader
summary: four discoveries come about your and carmens secret relationship; he’s very into knee socks, you’re acquainted with a staff member he has a tricky relationship with, he can be possessive and weirdly enough he likes being called daddy?
You’d stayed back last night to help Carmen, despite the raging headache that had caused you to have to take a 30 minute break from waiting tables just to rest your head. Carmen appreciated that, and was not shy in showing you. Once he’d insured everyone had gone home for the night, doors locked and safety measures taken care of, he had come into the office and kissed you softly, before walking you to your apartment. Where things had escalated, resulting in you falling asleep stuffed and sated and Carmy going home with a pair of your panties.
Today however you felt refreshed, you’d woken up at the crack of dawn, showered, threw on your uniform and decided you’d wear a pair of knee socks due to the cold fall weather. You arrived to the usual chaos of The bear, Tina and Sydney getting started on prep, Marcus unloading the batter he’d made the night before and Richie barking orders at your fellow waitstaff about today’s schedule. Carmy however wasn’t anywhere to be seen, so you assumed he was in his office going over stock orders or doing payroll.
“Hey, you look pretty good this morning princess” Rich or Richie to everyone else, whispers into your ears.
“Don’t be gross Rich.” You mumble, grabbing your apron and tying it around your waist as he mockingly smiled back at you.
“Damn can’t even give out compliments anymore.” He throws his hands up in mock self defence.
Your and Richie’s relationship was simple, he was a longtime friend of your brothers and had always been mockingly flirty and playful with you, occasionally you’d reciprocate the flirtyness but it was all in good fun. Carmy however hated it, so much so that he’d ensure he did his best to put a distance between you two most of the time.
As the day went on Carmen would make subtle appearances from the office, coming into the kitchen to help Sydney with recipes she was working on, answering some of Tina’s questions, giving Marcus the green-light on some new dessert ideas, the works. But what you noticed from these appearances were the glances he kept making towards you, or specifically towards your legs. Until it finally hit you, it was the knee socks.
-
Carmen couldn’t think straight with the way you were just casually waiting tables while looking like a goddess. Your uniform clung so nicely to your body, your smile ever so bright and those god damned knee socks. He was convinced you were trying to send him into cardiac arrest. He’d never even known he had a thing for those until today and he wasn’t about to let them go to waste.
carmen 🐻
You busy right now?
you
Kinda, why?
carmen 🐻
Need your help in the office, now.
you
Alright, coming
-
"Hi" you smiled shyly, walking up to his desk and taking a seat on one of the chairs opposite his desk.
"Come 'ere " he says lowly, beckoning you forward with two fingers. You slowly get out of the chair and make your way behind the desk to his side.
"Hi, again" you say as you look down at him, with a sweet smile on your face.
"Hey, feelin' any better, since last night?" He questions as he turns his chair to face you and pulls you in between his legs, his hands holding your hips in place.
"Y-yeah a little, thank you by the way" you reply softly, flustered by the touch he was so lovingly giving you.
"Your welcome, just wanted to make sure you were alright, it was so worth it" he smiled as his hands began to roam, up and down your hips.
"Wh- why was it worth it?" You reply, voice barely above a whisper, as you look down at him though your lashes.
"I got to kiss you, touch you, and keep your panties" he smirked at the last part, knowing it was going to annoy you.
"Thanks for reminding me to kick you for that by the way." You playfully swat his shoulder and he fakes a pout. You began laughing at him.
"What?" He asks, curiously.
"Nothing" you smile as you lift your hands to play with his hair.
"No tell me" he insists, as he squeezes your hips and pulls you down, to straddle him.
"Mmm, it's just I didn't expect you to be such a softie" you smile as you move down on him a little harder, to feel his crotch.
"Of fuck- I" he tries talking but the feeling of you pressed down against him is too much.
"Fuck-“ he says your name “you're gonna kill me" he replies as he pushes his hips against you and you feel his hard on.
“These knee socks have been killing me all day, did you wear em just f’me?” He grunts the last part.
“I did, wanted to impress you.” You smile, wiggling into him.
“It worked, I’m fuckin impressed and so hard f’you.” He smiles into a kiss he plants on your lips.
"I want you now, please daddy" you weren't sure where the 'daddy' came from, but honestly you didn’t care at this point, you needed him. His eyes widen and you're pretty sure you feel him get even harder once the word leaves your mouth.
"I'm your daddy?" He questions you with a smirk on his face.
"Ye-yeah, daddy" you whispered as you continue to grind down on him.
"That's right, I'm your daddy, keep grinding on your daddy till you cum" he groans, face all red.
"Mmmm" you whisper against his neck as you continue. Just as you feel him moving to reposition you, the phone in his office begins to ring. You look up at him and he shakes his head.
"Leave it, keep goin" he groans as he pulls you down, once more. You're so close to your climax when the phone rings again.
"Mmm, just answer it" you groan as you attempt to get off him, he however pulls you back down and answers the phone.
"What?"
"Ok, and?"
"Fine"
"I'll send her in"
He slams the phone back down and kisses you hungrily once more. You oblige and bring your hands up to his hair.
"Who was it?" You ask, pulling back from the kiss.
"Dumbass Richie, he wants to see you, claims one the regulars is here and only you can help him service them" he spits, you can tell he’s annoyed by Richie’s interruption.
"Rich’s always been quite the mood stealer" you smile, as he kisses your neck lightly.
"Rich?" He questions as he pulls back from your neck and looks up at you.
"Yeah, Rich?" You reply confused, had you said the wrong thing?
"Why the fuck, do you call him that?" He asks angrily, as he lets go of your waist. Alright so Carmy’s moods did always change quickly, noted.
"He's a family friend, I've known him since I was like 18 he's like a brother to me, at-least that's how I feel about him." You reply, whilst putting his hands back on your waist.
"Alright then, Good" he says refusing to smile.
"Why the long face, hmmm?" You question as you smile at him.
"I don't want anyone else to have you, I'm territorial, possessive, I don't know call it what you want but you're mine now and I don't need anyone getting in the way of that" he smirks.
"Mmmm, I just loveeee being owned by men, it's so empowering" you say sarcastically.
"I don't mean it in that way, you know that" says Carmy quickly, afraid you misunderstood him.
"I'm just fucking with you, and this may sound a bit anti-feminist, but I like the thought of belonging to you" you whisper into his ear, leaving him groaning.
"Alright we'll, Rich’s waiting for me, bye Carmy" you say as you try to get off of him. His grip however is too strong and he manages to pull you back down.
"I want to take you out for dinner tomorrow night, somewhere nice but chill ,not too fancy." He says shyly.
"I- I would love too, also not too fancy? this doesn't sound like Michelin star chef Carmen Berzatto" you joke, and he simply smiles at you. He finally let's you out of his grip and you give him a sweet peck, before making your way to the door. Before you can leave the office he calls out to you.
"Wear something pretty ok?"
You turn around and smile at him before replying with poise, "only for daddy"

MORE 80s SLASHER JOHN B!! PLEASE I BEG
YESSS OFC!!! (sorry about any misspellings, ignore em lol!)
₊ ⊹ warnings! 18+ - pinv, slight gaslighting, violence, death, spanking, drowning, dark!john b but also kinda sweet john b in a concerning way lol- ₊˚⊹
john b watched you from afar, sitting on a picnic table in the shade making yarn bracelets with some of the kids in his group, his eyes never leaving your figure for more than a few seconds. you were chatting away with one of the other counselors and a few of the little girls in your group. the little girls were teasing you and the guy, richie, by asking if you were boyfriend and girlfriend and to "kissss" each other.
"no way am i kissin' him! i happen to think that boys are pretty gross don't you think?" you smile playfully, placing your hands on your hips.
"awwe come on! i'm not gross am i?" richie pretends to be offended and places his hand over his heart, making the little girls giggle.
"mm hmm, you sure are!"
you squeal when richie suddenly lifts you over his shoulder and walks towards the shore of lake like he's going to throw you in. john b decides that's enough and jogs over before richie can throw you in.
"hey man, put her down…wouldn't want any accidents right? the nearest emergency room isn't for a few miles, and the camp hasn't got the best first aid." john b warns, squinting his eyes and tilting his head, almost like he's implying something else.
"we were just kiddin' around johnny!" richie laughs as he sets you down, your feet touching the sand again. john b clenches his jaw at the nickname and nods like he understands.
"s'alright johnbee, got him just in time!" you smile, trying to relieve the tension between the clearly upset brunette and the cocky red head.
"alright girls! how about we go see if we can use the finger paints now?" you ask the group of little girls who nod and agree, two of the girls taking your hands and leading you back up the hill, leaving john b and richie there.
the next morning, the older kid group and their counselor decide to use the canoes for a morning activity. as they make it out onto the lake one of the kid's ores smacks against something causing all the kids to look at the water. the boy in the front then points to the object, yelling out a loud "HOLY SHIT!". there, floating face up, is richie's blue, dead body, with some froth present around his nostrils and mouth.
you stand outside with the other counselors in pajamas after keeping all the kids away from the area and doing activities elsewhere. the paramedics take richie away in a body bag and your heart sinks, john b stands behind you, the warmth of his body and just the smell of him somehow calming you down a bit.
"what do you think could have happened to him?" you look up at john b with wide teary puppy eyes, worried he might have something to do with it since the…incident.
"i dunno sweetheart, he must have gone out for a late night swim, probably accidentally drowned…" he wraps his arm around your front and you bring your hand up to place over his.
"let's hope we can get through the summer without the parents pulling their kids out," he whispers.
"johnbee?"
"hmm?"
"you didn't- you know…" he just sighs and attempts to pull you back into his embrace, but you won't get any closer until he answers your question. when he only looks at you and doesn't say a word you start to walk away from him, and back to your cabin, confused and frustrated. but of course that doesn't go well with him, he won't tolerate you walking away from him like that, so he follows you and enters your cabin room behind you and shuts the door.
"lisetn to me, hey hey, look at me. i know you might still be a little scared of me but you don't need to be. okay?" he starts off gently, trying to level with you as calmly as he can be.
"ohkay…" you sigh and turn to look at him, you really don't want to have this conversation with him right now after being overwhelmed with so many things happening at once.
"i'd never do anything to hurt you, m'just trying to keep you safe that's all."
"i know…" you whisper
"good. that's why i do the things i do…i have a responsibility to watch out for these kids and when i think someone is dangerous then-"
"i don't want to hear you say it…" you interrupt him and shake your head with tears springing at your waterline. john b knows how you get when you feel conflicted or rather overwhelmed, he's seen it before when you get stressed while dealing with the kids.
"okay, alright…hey c'mere," he pulls you into a hug, his bulky body effectively enveloping you as you press your cheek to his chest.
"you really scared me that night-"
"didn't mean to bub, i promise not to do that again." he sighs, shaking his head though you can't see him.
"i really liked you."
"liked?"
"i- still do, s'just that-" you ramble.
"hey hey stop, breaaathe…breathe for me. let's do something okay? something to calm you down a little, y'gonna let me do that for you?" he soothes, bending down to meet your teary eyes. the minute you make eye contact with him you nod.
"words." he chides, needing to hear you confirm that you wanted it.
"yes, yes john b.." you whisper shyly.
"'m gonna take these off, aaand these pretty panties," he whispers gently, taking you through what he is currently doing. sliding down your little pink sleep shorts and white cotton panties, the fabrics pooling around your feet. john b then takes off his loose-fitted cropped sleep shirt and tosses it to the side, nodding his head over to your bed. he takes your hand and guides you over, taking a seat and lifting you up onto his meaty thigh.
"just gonna sit you on it and its gonna relax you alright?"
"its not gonna fit,"
"fit last time." he laughs through his nose and pulls himself out of his plaid pajama pants, you looked down at his dick, much bigger than you remembered and your cunt already began to clench around nothing. picking you up like nothing, you wrap your arms around his neck, john b impales your drippy wet cunt on his huge cock. the stretch making your eyes roll back momentarily and muffle you your cries on the skin between his shoulder and neck
"shshsh, its in, its in…" he coos, rubbing your back. "just turn your brain off bubba."
as soon as he can feel that you've relaxed and adjusted to his size he starts to move your hips back in forth with a gentle grip of his huge hands.
"i did kill riche, i had to do it to protect you baby…it's my job." you mewl at his confession and clench around his dick, earning a low groan out of him. he knew you wouldn't really register what he was telling you but at least he wouldn't feel guilty since he did just tell you the truth.
"jus' don't want you to hurt me," you whine.
"never, never…love you so much," he assures you, now using his strength to bounce you up and down slightly.
"don't gotta think about anything bub, just let me do all the work." he looks down and the bulge that presses against your lower stomach, making him hiss and squeeze the meat of your ass roughly.
"reall-really like you jombee…" you cry, tangling your fingers into the back of his hair, trying to keep yourself grounded as he bounces you on his fat cock.
"need to hear you say you love me, baby." he grunts, smacking your ass cheek harshly.
"love you, love you somuch, i really wanna cum please!" you squeal as he continues to use your sloppy wet pussy.
"i know bub, whenever you want, m'right there." john b stops bouncing you and lets you sink back down on him fully, then presses his thumb down hard on your clit. you mewl out pathetically as you cum and pulse all over him until he fills you up from just feeling you cum on him.
"fuck, so pretty, my pretty puppy." he smiles and presses a wet kiss to your cheek and wipes away the tears that happen to fall down your face.
"y'feel better now? hmm?"
"mm hmm…" still seated on him, leaking cum around the base of his dick, you hazily drop your cheek on his shoulder.

summary — carmen's never been good with his words, so when he finds you crying in the walk-in, he gets some help to convince you that you're capable of doing your job.
warnings — swearing, general customer-service nightmare stuff. reader is younger than carmen but i pictured/wrote her as being mid-late twenties (25-28 ish) and i think carmy is early 30s so there's an age gap but they're both fully adults, also boss/employee relationship so power imbalance but also nothing happens between them
pairing — carmen berzatto x fem!waitress reader, not established relationship
pronouns — she/her
word count — 1.9k
note — first carmen fic so obligatory warning that he might be OOC, i rlly work on dialogue and shit but i am finding my footing. waitress!reader is kinda special to me i might write some more about them cause they're both so silly if that's something people would be interested in? anyway i hope you enjoy :3
“Stupid… fucking useless- fuck!”
The rush is familiar. The lunch rush, the dinner rush, the fifteen different orders jumbling in your head as you struggle to write it all down in time. Holding nine full glasses of nine different drinks in one hand and struggling to push open the door to run the food out into the dining room. Having to go to Richie and tell him that someone’s card declined so you didn’t have to be the one to tell them. Going into the walk-in and just opening your mouth in a silent scream just to go back out there and finish your shift.
The rush of cold air on the back of your neck is familiar too. You don’t know what Carmen’s yelling about in the kitchen. You’d just stepped in there to grab food and had caught the tail end of his rant and you’d left with your tray and a million possibilities running through your head.
You’d written something down wrong and now a dish needed to be remade.
You’d left one of the fridges open and spoiled days worth of food.
You’d given someone something they were allergic to and now you were being sued.
You move through the restaurant on autopilot, avoiding people and chairs and one of Richie’s spitballs sent from behind the counter. You’re so sure that the next time you went back in that kitchen Carmy would be pulling you aside and telling you that you’re fired.
You deliver the food to the table with a smile and stand back upright to check in with them about that being everything. One of the women sits up a little straighter, giving you an apologetic look. “Sorry, I ordered a side of the lemon herb dressing?”
You look down at her dressing-less plate. “Oh, I’m sorry. I’ll be right back with that one, so sorry.”
She waves you off. “You take as long as you need to, honey.”
You practically speed back to the kitchen. Oh, god. You hoped you’d at least get that poor woman her dressing before Carmy fired you. You can’t believe that you managed to screw this up. You’d been lucky to get this job. Carmen had brought you on right when he’d opened up the restaurant and the rest of The Bear had all been super welcoming.
You got on best with Sydney, the two of you were similar in age and she was one of the kindest people you knew. You and Richie also had a nice relationship, you thought he hated you when you first got hired and then he walked out into the alley to have a cigarette, found you crying and punched a guy in the face for you.
You needed this job. You’d graduated a few years ago and were still struggling to break through in your field, and this job paid the bills and didn’t make you cry every single day. Some days, sure, but not every day.
You knew you weren’t the best waitress ever, you screwed up and made customers yell at you pretty frequently. You were lucky that Richie liked you enough to stand up for your honor even when you were probably wrong. But you tried your absolute best, you came into work every day and genuinely wanted to help. You respected all of the chefs so much, they all worked so hard, and you wanted to make their lives as easy as possible.
You go over to Richie and murmur something to him about the dressing, and he takes it to the kitchen. First whatever you’d done to upset Carmy, now this. If he didn’t think you knew how to do your job before, he definitely will now. You glanced over your section. All your tables were eating or had ordered, you’d normally be checking with Sugar when the next reservation was due and triple-checking the table was clean and everything was prepared.
If you were going to get a walk-in minute in, now would be the best time. Maybe you could do it before Carmy fired you.
You brush past Tina, not even hearing her concerned call for you. The walk-in was empty and everyone in the kitchen understood. When someone goes into the walk-in with tears in their eyes you leave them alone for as long as you can.
You can’t believe that you were stupid enough to screw this up.
The door slams open and you wipe your eyes, expecting it to be Tina needing to actually do her job or Marcus wanting to check on you. It’s Carmen.
“What happened?” He hadn’t been expecting to see you so upset. He’d heard the door slam and wanted to leave it alone, but then Richie had raised his eyebrows, stopping mid-sentence.
“God, I can’t wait to hear about whatever asshole yelled at her this time,” he’d shaken his head, trying to go back to what he’d been talking to Carmy about before. One of the shelves had been knocked and two containers of flour had been completely emptied out onto the floor. They had lids on, lids with clamps on them that were meant to stop that from happening but lo and behold Fak was now mopping up something that was beginning to resemble bread dough with how much water he was trying to use. .
“Who?” Carmy’s eyes had still been glued to the walk-in. Richie had said your name and Carmen had practically excused himself in the same breath. This time? Did you get yelled at by customers a lot?
You wipe your face, shaking your head. “Sorry, Carm. I guess I just needed a second, I’ll get back out there.”
You take a step forward and he, without meaning to, moves to block the door. You feel your heart rate climb. This was it, he was going to scream at you in the walk-in. “You’re crying.”
You can feel the tears welling up in your eyes. You didn’t want this to happen, you didn’t want to be crying in front of your boss. Especially not Carmen. He’s a lot, you know that. You’re not in the kitchen a whole lot, but when you are he’s usually not super happy. He’s a yeller, half of Chicago knows that. But he’s always kind to you, he gave you a job when you were fresh out of college in an unrelated field with no experience because he could tell how much you needed one. You often felt out of place slightly, through no fault of the other staff. They spent all shift in the kitchen together and you spent your entire shift out there in the dining room. You know they’re not having sleepovers and braiding each others’ hair in there, but your work mostly took place in a different room.
But Carmen always makes sure you get Family, that you get your break even if it’s scheduled while it’s busy and that Richie isn’t skimming your tips (he’d never, but Carmen’s caught him with his hands in the jar so often that he isn’t sure anymore).
It really doesn’t help that he looks like that.
You’re shaking, and he worries for a second that it’s because you’re standing in the freezer, but there are tears welling in your eyes and he doesn’t want to drag you out to his office when you’re so visibly upset. “I’m sorry,” you’re shaking your head. “Please don’t fire me.”
Carmen frowns. “Why would I fire you?”
The words seem to tumblr from your mouth without your permission. “I know I’m not the best waitress, I’m sure you get lots of complaints about me and I forgot that woman’s dressing and I know nothing about kitchens but I’m trying, Carm. I promise, and I’ll do better.” You’re talking so fast that he can barely keep up. He’s still caught up on the first part.
“Wait, wait,” he holds a hand up to stop you. “Who told you you’re not a good waitress?”
You sniff, tears fully rolling down your cheeks. Carmen knows he’s rough. He’s prone to explosions. Carmen is a hurricane, he wreaks havoc on whatever environment he’s in. He sucks in everyone else’s bullshit, swirls it around and then spits it back out, leaving whatever is left in worse condition than he found it.
You were calm. You calmed everyone. If an asshole yelled at Carmen, or Sydney or Ebra, Richie wouldn’t even dream of going out there and yelling at the customer. Marcus made you a cake on your birthday and Sydney tries all of her newest recipes on you.
The eye of the hurricane.
You’re prattling at this point. “-And that time that I made that guy wait fifteen minutes for a straw, and-”
“Honey,” he doesn’t mean to, that slips out without him meaning. “You’re a great waitress, who gives a shit that guy had to wait for his fucking straw? Who cares, you’re…” he can’t think of a way to talk to you. Great feels too impersonal, wonderful feels too intimate. It’s what you are, though. “You have nothing to worry about. You’re… everyone loves you. We’re lucky to- I’m sure you could get a job at any other restaurant if you wanted. You’re not a bad waitress.”
That’s apparently the wrong thing for him to say. It only makes you cry harder. “Please don’t fire me,” you look pathetic. Crying to your boss while he fires you in the middle of the freezer.
Carmen doesn’t let that slide for a second longer than he has to. “Why the fuck would I fire you?”
You don’t need to answer. Because I’m a bad waitress. It hangs in the air like the frosty vapor that flies from his mouth every time he takes a breath.
“I swear to fuck, you’re a big part of the reason people come in here,” he’s not lying. He knows his name carries weight, he knows people hear “Carmen Berzatto’s restaurant” and that brings them in the door a lot of the time. He pulls out his phone, reception is shit but he’s able to google the name of the restaurant.
He doesn’t have to scroll far down the Google reviews before he finds it. “Food was great, waitress was lovely, made us feel so welcome.” He finds another one. “Waitstaff was on top of it. Two people at surrounding tables smashed glasses and from what I saw one waitress cleaned them both up and still managed to get our appetizers out on time.”
He goes to find another one but stops, looking back up at you. “You’re not firing me?” You take a step back, dropping your entire body so you’re sitting cross-legged on the floor. He watches you, gauging your reaction, before mirroring you. Your knees are almost touching his.
“I’d have to be a fucking moron.”
The silence is deafening.
“Hey,” Carmen can’t bite back the shocked laugh. “That’s… alright. Fine.”
Hearing you laugh makes relief bubbled up inside of him.
“I should go back out there,” you nod towards the door.
Carmy shakes his head, knee nudging against yours. “Richie’s got it, Marcus can walk desserts, Syd’s on top of everything. No one’s gonna hold it against you if you stay here for a bit.”
He stands, hand brushing your shoulder as he moves towards the door. “Have you eaten today?”
You shake your head and he nods. “I’m gonna make you some pasta, okay? Richie can take over for a bit, you take your time in here I’ll be right outside, honey.” He shuts the door and your shoulder burns where he touched it.

mikey is such a cutie patootie!! i imagine that his family all really love you (and maybe pin too much hope on you to ‘save’ him) so at holidays everyone’s just so sweet to you. everyone knows they can joke or make snide comments at mikey, but god forbid anyone goes after you (uncle lee made the mistake of accusing you of drugs too. it’s a good thing donna totaled her car because otherwise lee would be fucked up)
and idk mikey can be so sweet i know he can!! you’re kind of the pete to his sugar in a way
literally agree like he just needs HIS person and he would be so proud to show you off
a berzatto christmas is chaotic but you’ll quickly learn how to handle that energy, knowing it’s just common for them. everyone (or at least most of them) treat you well, and sometimes you’re even enough to diffuse the tensest of situations.
“hey! your hookers here!” uncle lee will shout when you walk through the door, not so much an announcement to mikey as it is to the room, something to gain a reaction. thankfully he isn’t around right now, for that would be the beat-down of the century.
you offer lee a thin smile, knowing by this point not to engage. “merry christmas to you, too.”
the house is warm and alive with energy, everyone you pass throwing a greeting your way. natalie stops you for a hug, her hands smoothing down your dress and making a comment about how nice it looks, but “aren’t you cold, sweetheart? did you drive here? we’ll get you a coat for later, okay?”
on the way to the kitchen, you have to physically evade richie’s hand coming to mess with your hair. it’s been perfectly done up for the occasion and his big hand serves as an obstacle, wanting to ruffle it like usual.
you huff and swat his arm away, ducking quickly through the door and missing the glare it earns him from tiff.
finally, you make it into the kitchen. it’s disorganised and messy, pots overflowing, spoons left on the counter. carmy is trying to reign in the situation, in his own silent way, not wanting to cause any additional tension.
“hey, d.” you greet donna from behind, who was too caught up in whatever to notice your arrival. she turns around with an exasperated noise, both her hands finding your shoulders before moving to your cheeks.
“how are you?” she asks, but is talking before you can get a response in. “i was reading this magazine, and there was this model, and i swear, it looked— hey! hands off!”
whatever tangent donna was on is interrupted as carmy goes to stir a pot, to which she bats his hands away, going on about its contents and how it needs to simmer.
“it smells good in here!” you chirp, a smile on your face as you open the fridge.
“wine,” donna continues, “did you want some wine? here, sweetheart. let me pour you a glass.”
“no, no, i’m okay!” you quickly interject, already having found a cold bottle from the fridge. “beer is good, beer will be fine.”
she makes an offhanded comment about needing to “treat yourself to something nice” and not drinking “cheap garbage.” meanwhile, donna continues pouring the aforementioned glass, only to sip from it herself while she cooks.
you take about three gulps of the beverage before footsteps bring another presence to attention. it’s always easy to hear mikey before seeing him, for he’s often already yelling to you from the other room. this time it’s a call of your name, loud and warm, so you flutter closer to the doorway to meet him.
“hey,” you greet with a smile, hands reaching for the fabric of his sweater while his find your hips. “you look good. like this colour on you.”
“says you,” mikey will quip back. “this fuckin’ dress on you, jesus. tryna’ kill a man, huh?”
it gets a giggle out of you, cheeks flushing red at the blatant compliments despite the others in the room. it was something you were still adjusting to: showing love so casually and shamelessly no matter the circumstances, like it was the only thing that mattered.
“merry christmas, bear.” you coo, pressing a kiss to his stubbled cheek.
it earns a squeeze of your hips, mikey moving to kiss back. “merry christmas, baby.”
“can you guys please fuckin’ move.” carmy snaps suddenly.
the peace is again broken, with donna scolding him and going on and on about something you pay no mind to. it onto causes carmy to heat up further, complaining about how you’re both in the way in that usual overwhelmed sense.
mikey doesn’t help, chiming in with his own remark. “oh, is our affection ruining your flow? you know what your problem is, you gotta chill out. it’s christmas, and you’re fuckin’ wound up—”
“okay, okay. we will move. let carmy have his peace.” you interrupt him, trying to save the conversation by giving mikey a little push to usher him out of the kitchen. it works, thankfully, for the second that he spots richie he’s going on again about some other story you’re sure you’ve already heard, but is somehow relevant right now.

Best-friends
Tara Carpenter x g!p!reader
A/N: I was eating cheez-Its while making this
Warning: smut, p in v, the usual dealing with me.
Requested by: @marst566 (don’t know why the tag isn’t working🧍🏻♀️
Here’s there the request
“Fuck-“ she whimpered out as your hips connected to hers over and over again. She moan uncontrollably under you as you forced her face down into the pillow to drown out the loud moans the left her from Sam or Quinn as you drilled into her.
“Fuck, fuck!” Her back naturally arched on its own to give you a better angle inside of her and to give herself more pleasure from the cock buried deep inside of her. “Don’t stop!” She says through teary eyes.
You bite your lip as you feel her move back against you in time with your thrust and can’t help the groan that leaves your lips as you hold on her hip tightens.
How you two ended up like this was a story you wouldn’t dare admit be true when telling. All because of a little jealousy at your first frat party in New York and only then did the knife finally cut through all the tension that was built up between you both.
The others had the theories, watching how the two of you interacted in the past few months but never having any or enough proof the prove anything. Just placing their bets and waiting. Luckily you two seemed to keep it hidden very well.
Friends with benefits. At least that’s what Tara called it when she wasn’t staring at you when you weren’t looking or always bringing you up.
Now, at least twice a week or more — depending on how much time you could get alone — you had her a moaning and screaming mess but it was hard to even get alone together to do anything. With Sam always wanting to be in the same building as Tara 24/7 it was hard
Even now, you two had to make a tight decision to do this with Quinn and Sam in and asleep in their rooms. But you both couldn’t help it, it was the end of the week and you hadn’t fucked since the middle of last week due to you having a lot of testing going on and Sam up Tara’s ass. Tara was sexually frustrated, moody and snappy while you seemed to have a hard time hiding your painful erections whenever they’d randomly pop up.
You two depended on each other, more than you’d both cared to admit. Especially after what happened in Woodsboro with Richie and Amber. You both needed the other, not just physically but emotionally. The comfort you to brought each other was something you craved more than sex or the rough fucking she demanded.
Now that you had the petite girl all for yourself, you couldn’t help but see how much you craved her. Her lips, her hands wrapping around you, and especially her body that seemed to tease you with its movements everyday you saw her.
Your hips slam against her ass as she continues to moan into her pillow, hands gripping the sheets under her in a desperate attempt to ground herself to keep going.
You move your hand from her hand to rest against her back, between her shoulder blades to force her ass more up into the as you shifted slightly above her and forcing your pants further down to below your knees as you push both of you further up into her bed.
“Fuck, you’re so wet Tara..” you groan out as you begin thrusting inside of her again causing her to let out yet another string of moans that were still muffled by her pillow.
The street light perfectly shaded across her skin, back muscles moving and flexing with every move you both make, her waist thin then stretching out to form a petite shape and even more petite with her back arched.
You were glad you came when she called even if it was the dead of the night, you would walk through the desert if it meant this would be your Oasis to quench your thirst. You had to be careful not to get caught or Sam probably finish you off herself.
Tara seems to want this when you hit her spongy spot, her head is thrown back and she lets out a loud moan.
Your eyes widen as you stop and you move your hand back up and shove her face into the pillow. Your heart beat jumping into your throat, a fear settling inside of you as Tara whines into the pillow. A fear of Sam’s wrath if she catches you in her little sisters bed in the middle of the night.
You felt like a teenage boy when thinking about it, Tara was an adult and could take care of herself just fine but you were scared of Sam. Like a teenage boy would be the father of the girl whose room he snuck into.
But you knew Sam would be much more worse than her father.
“Are you trying to get caught?” You ask, turning your head to listen out for any movement in the apartment.
This doesn’t stop Tara as she keeps moving her hips back against yours in attempt to chase the orgasm you unrightfully took from her, moaning into the pillow and grip tightening on the sheets.
You continue to listen out for any sound outside the room. The creak of a floor board, a voice, hell looking down at the crack for a light to turn on.
But the only sound the you could hear was Tara, between her legs and her moaning as she pushes against you, urging you to start moving again as she lets out yet another whine.
She was going feral, eager to get you to fuck her and give her the release she was used to receiving at least once a week. You could only imagine how it would be if you didn’t fuck for a much longer period of time.
“She’s not going to come, can you ju-” you takes in a sharp breath when you start up your pace again, still straining your ears to listen out for Sam just in case.
“So impatient.” You tease as both of your hands grip onto her hips to pull her back to you with more force.
This causes her let out another moan into the pillow and go limp, no longer attempting to push back against you now that your pulling her back, hitting her g-spot over and over again was getting her back to getting closer to the edge. Closer to her orgasm she had been craving for the last week and a half.
You could only imagine what it would be like if you two were separated for a longer time frame without any release from the other.
You continue to pump yourself in and out of her throbbing pussy, washing the way her juices mixed with your as you caught glimpses of her cock. Loving the way it felt and seemed to fit perfectly inside of her, it was more than you could ever ask for.
You feel her legs begin to shake in your grasp as her moans become more frequent and you can’t help but smile at how fast she was going to cum after being denied there for a moment.
You increase your movements, desperate to make her cum after so long, to feel her gush all over your dick.
You let out a small, breathy moan, feeling your own orgasm form in the pit of your stomach as you move against her.
One hand rubbing up and down her back gently while the other keeps a harsh grip on her hip, neither of you worried about the mark or bruise it might leave. She could cover it up, just like you did the scratch marks she left down your back or the hickeys you left on each other. Worries you didn’t worry about in the heat of the moment.
A rather loud moan leaves her, even muffled by the pillow it made you look back at the door as she started to reach her orgasm as you pound into her.
You thrust into her a few more times before she’s lets out a loud, high pitched moan that had you pushing her head further into the pillow in worries her roommate, or worse her sister hear as you continue to move inside of her, squeezing your eyes shut tight when your spill out inside her, or rather the condom.
You both take a moment to breath once you release your hold on her head. Trying to calm down and come down from your highs as you fall limp against her, cock still buried deep inside of her making you feel every time she squeeze around you when her body would twitch.
Then you hear. The footsteps that were coming from the left, where Sam’s room was and your eyes widen.
Tara hears it to and shoved you down onto the bed before pulling the blankets over your hurriedly.
You feel your heartbeat quicken in your chest, a warm feeling settling inside of you when Tara pulls you closer and forces your face to squish against her boobs, trying to get as close as possible to seem as small as possible as she pulls the covers over your head.
You feel her heartbeat quicken against your cheek as the door opens and you both lay perfectly still.
The hall light lit up the room as Tara’s head stays from under the blanket with her eyes closed, acting as if she were sleeping and not calming down from getting her brains fucked out.
You hear Sam stand there for a moment, as if she’s observing or searching for something and you can’t help but hold your breath in anticipation.
We’re you about to get caught for fucking your best friend? Just like the group had speculated the entire time? That would be a horror, being teased for the rest of your life by Mindy would be your end.
But then the door clicks shut and you let out the breath you were holding as you feel Tara visibly relax as she leans even closer to you, if even possible.
“She’s not going to come, huh?” You tease quietly, voice muffled by her boobs before feeling her pinch your arm.
“Shut up.” She whispers and you can’t help but chuckle, holding back your laugh as she shifts slightly to get comfortable. Wrapping her arms around your shoulders to pull your face further into her chest, you feel your body relax as you reach around her to wrap you own arms around her, breathing in her scent and closing your eyes.
This was your Oasis that was worth the long and hard walk for sure.

would you be willing to write something along the lines of casual dominant Carmy taking care of his girl who’s injured, maybe working at the restaurant with him? like maybe he’s super pissed at the carelessness causing injuries but also super concerned and caring
(may or may not be inspired by me breaking my finger and having it taped up, chipping the bone in my ankle and hurting most of the toes of the same foot 😅)
i tweaked the plot just a bit but same scenario lol. hope you enjoy!
"Hands!" Carmen yelled, plating the finished bolognese for Tina to grab, nodding at the perfected response. It was busy today, far busier than he expected with the stormy, summer weather, but he couldn't complain. The team was moving like a well oiled machine, customers were happy, and even Richie was in a good, upbeat mood.
"Corner!" Sydney announced, turning the corner abruptly, hand on the store's phone. "Chef, I need you."
"What?" Carmen looked over, adding the finishing garnish to the dish before putting it on the serving station. "What's the matter?"
Sydney hesitated, turning to Tina. "Tina, can you cover please? Just for a second?"
"Yes, Chef." Tina nodded, moving to Carmen's station, and ripping another order out.
"What's goin' on? Is it the freezer again? Fuckin' Richie-"
Sydney shook her head, nodding towards Carmen's office. "It's for you." Nodding to the phone in her hand.
"For me?" Carmen's eyes bulged, heart skipping a beat. "Are they mad?" His voice dropped low, eyes cutting to her's.
"No, no, not like that." Sydney shook her head. "It's a personal call. Look, I-I'll go cover for you."
Then Carmen was left, standing alone in his office, cradling the phone with a blinking hold line. He recognized the number nearly immediately- your number. Why would you call him at work? On the store phone? Suddenly, he was taken back to New York, standing in the kitchen after the dinner rush, looking at Sugar's name flash over and over and over on his phone.
His stomach turned, hands shaking when he answered it. "H-Hello?"
"Hi, Carmy." Your voice sounded small, a little wobbly- like you'd been crying. He was sure he was gonna be sick now.
"Hey," Carmen breathed, trying to still the beating in his chest. "What-What's goin' on? You alright? I-I didn't have my phone on me, but-"
"I'm alright." You soothed. "Well, I mean, for the most part. I... I'm at the emergency room."
That was all Carmen needed to hear, snatching his things out of the top drawer and bounding around the corner towards the back, shouting at Sydney to handle it, and cursing furiously when the line went dead.
Carmen walked through the dreaded halls of the emergency room, under the sickening fluorescence until he found your room. You looked up at him, eyes still red rimmed with left over tears, your friend chatting next to you.
"Hey, you alright?" Carmen pushed through the door, clumsily bounding towards your bedside. He still had his apron on, drove here in his fucking clogs he could barely press the pedals on, mind racing too quickly to care.
"Yeah, 'm alright." You muttered, looking down at your bandaged arm. "I burned myself and it was pretty bad. Jordie got scared and wanted to make sure it was treated." You nodded towards your friend.
Carmen felt the lump in his throat, bobbing with every movement of his head. "Yeah, I, uh, I see that." He looked carefully at the gauze.
"I'm gonna go," Jordie said, looking over at you gently. "If you're good with that."
"Yeah, I'll be alright now. Thank you." You hugged her with your good arm, Carmen muttering a thank you as she left.
Carmen sat beside you, hand falling over your leg. "How'd you do that, baby? What happened?"
You sighed, frustrated, maybe a little embarrassed. "It's so stupid." You could feel the tears flooding your water line again, Carmen's hand soothing them with tiny rubs. "I was making brownies for me and Jordie so we could have, like, a chill little movie day. And-And I wasn't even thinking, we were just talking, and I grabbed the tray out of the oven without a mitt." Your lip wobbled.
Carmen's eyes softened, cooing at you lightly. "And-And I freaked and didn't want to drop the tray so I threw it in the water, and then I ran my hand under cold water, like you said to do, but it was blistering really bad already and-and I don't know it looked like it was bleeding, and we were both freaking out because it hurt so fucking bad, so she took me here."
"That was good." Carmen nodded, your watery gaze meeting his. "No, that-that was the right thing to do. Could get infected."
"It's gonna cost so much." You muttered, looking down at your feet. "I-I should've called you- I tried to, but you didn't answer and... I just got scared."
"Don't worry about it." Carmen shook his head, reaching out to wipe a stray tear with the pad of his thumb. "You got insurance, we'll figure it out, alright? Just... You did the right thing, baby."
You took a shaky breath, curling into his touch, cheek to the palm of his hand. "The doctor said it was third degree." You muttered.
Carmen sucked a breath in. "Ouch. That's gonna hurt tomorrow. They give you anything for it?"
You nodded. "It's at the pharmacy. Some cream and bandages and something for the pain."
"Good." Carmen nodded. "We'll stop on the way home, ok? You gotta make sure you keep it clean, alright? Be gentle with it. Take it easy, ok? Can't get it infected."
You rolled your eyes lightly, rubbing your eyes with your free hand. "I will." You nodded.
"I know you will. I'll make sure you do, alright? I'll help you, baby." Carmen cooed, taking your wrist gently in his hand, pressing a soft kiss to the bottom of the bandage.
"I didn't mean for you to leave, Carmy." You sighed, blinking at him gently. "You didn't have to leave for me-"
"-Yeah, I did." Carmen said, a finality in his tone that left no room for argument. "Don't say that to me. You know I'm gonna come check on you. You're hurt."
"And it's dinner." You countered. "I was just letting you know."
"And I'm glad you did." Carmen said sincerely. "But I wanted to come. Syd's got it. I called Sugar on the way here, and she's gonna help Richie out front, and I'm gonna take you home. Make sure you're all good."
Carmen took extra caution, listening to the doctor's orders before your discharge- as if he didn't know most of the protocol. He was meticulous about your schedule for the next few days, texting you when to take your medicine, clean your gauze, not hold your phone in your injured hand. Everything he could to make sure you felt better, even making those brownies for you- from scratch, this time, which beat your Betty Crocker box ones.

Freezer
Description: If you get locked in the walk-in freezer with your hot boss, you need to warm up somehow.
Content: carmy x reader (no use of y/n), injury(cut finger) and mention of blood, sort of enemies to lovers, oral f!receiving, fingering, unprotected piv sex, dirty talk, use of pet names
Author’s Note: I need him IN MY BONES. i wrote this before watching the ep when this happens LOL. also i love feedback if you want to leave it! <3
——————————————————
It started as a normal day of work-as in Carmy was yelling, Richie was an asshole, and Sydney was solving everything.
It ended up being an intense day for an unofficial kitchen assistant. There was a large rush of customers at lunch, leaving Carmy’s veins to protrude as he yelled at everyone to make more food.
“50 more beef, 20 veggie, 16 everything chefs!”
“Heard, chef!” The kitchen chorused back.
He called your name.
“Yes, chef?”
“I need the two slabs of beef left in the fridge, and then you need to go drive and get more.”
“Heard, chef,” you say, writing the instructions down quickly on your notepad.
Carmy was already gone, at his station picking up the pound of beef. You stared as his bicep curved out, his hand flexed and gripped the bag. You were interrupted by-
“Chef! I need those tomatoes!” Sydney said. “They have to be in the pot in 5!”
Fuck-the tomatoes you were chopping for Sydney’s sauce before this meeting started.
“Yes chef!”
“And we’re talking about whatever that was later!” she said. You tense as you realize she saw you gawking.
“Syyyyd!” You whine. She grins.
“Get to work!” Carmy hollers from around a corner, and you dash back to the sink.
You had finished half of the ten tomatoes sydney requested. You picked up the knife and got to work on the 6th of the bunch.
You were mindlessly chopping for maybe a minute before someone slammed into your back, knocking you forward and causing you to slice your finger.
“Fuck!” you gasped. You whirled around to see who it was. “Say behind!”
Of course. Richie. He looked down at you and his lip curled.
“Not my fault! Pay more attention next time.”
He stalked off, rolling his eyes.
Whatever, you didn’t have time for this. Luckily no blood got on the tomatoes, so you wrapped the cut in paper towel and got back to work careful to keep that finger away from the food. You slid the cut up food into a bowl and carried it to Sydney, placing it next to her.
“Thanks, chef,” she said, checking the tomatoes.
“Of course, chef.”
“Whoa, you good?” she said, noticing your finger.
“Yeah, I’ll fix it after I finish,” you said.
“Okay..” she said, raising an eyebrow. “Be careful.”
“I will, chef!” You say, already heading to the freezer. “Corner!”
You reached the freezer and pulled open the door to slip inside, looking for the beef Carmy had asked for.
“Ah!” You jumped, shoulder blade hitting the metal shelf. Carmy startled from the racks he was leaning on.
“What the fuck?” He leaned on the door to steady himself; pushing it closed.
“Fuck-sorry chef,” You said quickly. “I didn’t know you were in here.”
“Clearly,” he groaned, tipping his head back against the shelf. You could feel the shame burning up your chest and sternum.
“Just get your stuff and go, okay?”
You nodded and leaned over, right hand on the metal coils as you looked for the beef on the bottom shelf.
“It’s right there,” he said angrily, gesturing to the slab. Great day so far. You cut yourself and now your workplace crush was yelling at you. Like you could focus when he was right there. You could feel his body heat.
You gripped the plastic and lifted the meat into the crook of your left arm. Hefting it up, you turned and reached for the door handle, avoiding eye contact with Carmy.
You pulled the handle. Nothing happened. What?
You tried again. Still nothing more than a slight jiggle, and the door didn’t budge.
“What the fuck?” You mumbled.
“Let me try,” he said, moving into your space. His wide shoulders brushed against you, reminding you of all that manliness and what you wanted it to do to you.
You stepped back, the weight of the beef (and your attraction to Carmy) already starting to burn. You switched arms as he yanked hard on the handle, bicep and shoulder muscles flexing. He added his other hand and pulled down and back. Nothing.
This could not be happening. You can’t be stuck in here with Carmy. He’ll eat you alive, and not in the way you wanted. You couldn’t stand the thought of the cause of that twist in your gut hating you.
“Fuck!” he yelled, slamming his fist against the door. “Richie! Syd!”
You both knew the door was metal, several inches thick. They’d have to be close to hear him.
You gasped and set the beef back so you could curl your arms around yourself. Carmy whirled around.
“You fucking locked us in here!” he said, pointing at you.
“Me?!” You yelled back. “It’s not my fault the door jammed!”
“Yes it is!” he fired back. “This wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t come in here!”
“I was getting the fucking beef you asked me for!” You screamed back.
He was about to respond when you heard muffled voices outside.
“Syd!” You called out.
“Cousin!” He yelled at the same time.
“What’re you guys doing in there?” you hear Sydney say through the door.
“The fucking door won’t open!” Carmy exclaimed. “Get us out!”
The handle shook, then shook more violently.
“I think it’s jammed!” came Richie’s yell.
“No shit, Sherlock,” you mumble.
Carmy looks at you out of the corner of his eye before turning back. “So can you fix it?”
“Um, not sure,” came his cousin’s reply. “I think we need to get Fak…”
“Fuck!” Carmy exclaimed louder, pushing his tattooed hands through his hair. “It’s lunch rush! I cant be stuck in here!”
“I’d also like to be outside!” You add.
“It’s okay chef,” Sydney’s voice responds. “I’ll keep us on task while Richie works to get you out. We won’t fall behind.”
“I got this, cousin!” Richie says.
Carmy sighs and leans his head against the freezer door, resting his hands on it.
“Good, chef. You’ll have a limited menu since our meat is in here.”
“On it Chef. We were due for a shipment anyway.”
“Thank you chef. An-“
Sydney cuts him off saying your name. “Just breathe, okay? We’ll get you out as soon as possible.”
“Thank you Syd,” you reply, feeling grateful for her ability to take charge.
“Oh! And I’ll slip a bandage under the door!”
“Ahhh thank you,” You respond with relief, looking down at the paper towel that was almost completely red.
That caught Carmy’s attention. His head whipped around to look at you as her footsteps pattered away.
“You good?”
You looked at him in surprise. “Yeah…just cut my finger.”
His eyebrows furrowed. “You have to be careful. We can’t be losing manpower.”
You glared. “Richie slammed into me. My carefulness didn’t have anything to do with it.”
“Here you go,” Syd said as she slid the bandaid under the door. “Fak will be here in an hour or so.”
“What?” you exclaim at the same time.
“Apparently he likes to go to a specific movie theater an hour away. I don’t fucking know.”
You groan along with Carmy.
You slid down to sit on the cement floor and set about trying to open the bandage, but hissed when it slid across your cut.
Carmy sighed. “Let me help you with that.”
“I got it, thanks. Isn’t it because I wasn’t careful enough, anyway?” You say.
“You can’t blame me for trying to keep the restaurant running.”
“Thanks for the sympathy.”
“Just let me do it.”
Carmy lowered himself to the floor, leaning back on his haunches. The image of this larger-than-life man on his knees for you made you slow, handing over the bandage.
He took it and began to unwrap.
“I know you’re careful,” he says into his hands.
“Huh?” you ask in surprise.
He looks up at you, those beautiful blue eyes upping your heart rate. “I know you’re careful. I shouldn’t have yelled.”
Oh fuck. New reason why you couldn’t stay in here. You were gonna fall in love with him.
The praise makes you smile, and his face seems to lighten at that. “Thanks,” you say. “I assume it helps my case that Richie has a reputation for being not careful.”
He huffs a smile. “Maybe a bit.” He reaches his hand out gently. Seeing the veins and tattoos on the backs of his hands were not helping your heartbeat. Your nerves shake as he takes your hand and undoes the paper towel with the other.
His face hardens and you look to see why. The gash was deeper than you realized, but nothing new to kitchen staff.
“Fuckin’ Richie,” Carmy grumbles angrily.
“It’s fine,” you say reassuringly. “Nothing I can’t handle.”
He makes eye contact again. “You shouldn’t have to. Not in my kitchen.”
Your lips part in surprise, and you think you catch him looking at them a beat too long before returning to your hand. The fact that such talented, skilled hands were working on your little cut was wild to you.
A curl fell in his face, and you had to resist the urge to push it back for him. He was finishing up the bandage, and your mind screamed keep him over here.
“How are we gonna keep from freezing to death in here?” You ask, half joking.
He moves back to lean against the shelves on the opposite wall, legs crossed at the ankle. You immediately feel the absence of his hands on you.
He shrugs. “I’m used to it.”
“All that means is you won’t notice when the hypothermia kicks in.”
His eyebrows furrow. “That cannot be true.”
“Yeah, I have no idea.” You respond, stretching your legs out so they’re parallel to his.
He chuckles, louder than you thought he would.
“How is the job so far?” He asks.
“Good,” you say. “Better than a lot of kitchens. Except when I have to sit in a freezer with my boss.” You nudge his knee with yours.
“C’mon, is he really that bad?” Carmy teases.
You think for a minute. “No, honestly. He’s pretty fantastic at everything he does. In appearance, too. I don’t know how he keeps those white shirts so clean.”
“I meant to be in a freezer with,” Carmy responds. There’s a shameful beat.
“I-“
“I’m just messing with you,” He smirks.
You roll your eyes, still embarrassed for your lovey rant.
“I look fantastic, huh?”
You squirm. “I didn’t mean it like that-“
“How did you mean it then? Don’t hurt my feelings.”
“Can they be hurt?” You ponder. “I’m sure many women have told you similarly.”
He shakes his head. “That’s probably the only personal compliment I’ve gotten in years. They’ve all been about my cooking.” His face is a bit pink now.
You rub your arms, the goosebumps a combination of the freezer and Carmy’s gaze on you. Speaking of, his eyes follow the movement of your arms and his jaw ticks.
“That’s almost unbelievable to me,” You begin. “That no one tells you you look good.”
“Do people tell you that?” He asks.
“Sometimes, I suppose,” You say. “When I look nicer than this.” You gesture down at yourself.
“You still look nice,” He says gravelly, crossing his arms over his chest. You have to tear your eyes away from his forearms to respond.
“Thanks, so do you,” You say lightly, hoping it’s not obvious how much you mean it.
You can tell from his eyes he sees through you, though.
“I know you think so,” He says lowly.
“Oh yeah?” You ask nervously.
“Yeah,” he almost groans. “The way you look at me when I cook-it’s so distracting.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you whisper.
“Yes you do,” he says, eyes hard. “But you’re so focused, and careful, that you never see when I’m looking the same way at you.”
You swallow hard. There was no way this was real. Carmy being into you? Impossible.
“Yeah, right,” You respond.
His jaw ticks. “What, you don’t think that’s true?”
“Carmy, look at you. Then look at me. Of course I don’t think that’s true.” You shake.
He pushes his hands through his curls again. His shirt rises up an inch when he does, and you can’t help but glance at the bit of happy trail-
“See,” He groans. “I cant think straight around you. Especially when you look at me like that. Like I’m worth your attention.”
“Of course you are, Chef,” you say, looking into his eyes as your voice went lower.
The name seemed to do him in. His frazzled look shifted to feral, eyes bright and hair in every direction.
“You never answered my question,” You said lowly.
“What question?”
“How are we gonna stay warm in here?” You say, tone suggesting there was more to what you were saying. “Because I can think of a few ideas…”
“Oh, so can I,” He said gravelly, dragging his eyes down your body as you rose up on your knees. “All of them require you getting over here.” he said.
Didn’t have to tell you twice. He uncrossed his legs, his perfect thighs framing a seat for you. Before you could sit, his large hands crept onto your back, grasping you as he put his face onto your belly.
“Is this okay?” He asked, tone serious.
“Yes, yes,” you almost whine, hands reaching the back of his head.
When you run your fingers through your hair like you’d been dreaming about, he groans.
This giant, muscled man groans into your stomach. You feel like jelly.
“Fuck,” he mumbles. “I haven’t done this in a long time.”
You had heard about his nonexistent dating history. But you didn’t care.
“We don’t have to do anything you don’t want,” You say, looking down at him.
“No,” he groans, looking up at you, the angle of his eyes and his hands gripping you making you even wetter. “I want.”
You gasp and that reaction seems to spur him on. He slides his hands down your thighs and pulls you into his lap.
You groan quietly as you feel his cock through his pants, already hardening just from you being close. You couldn’t believe it.
“You feel that? What you do to me?” He asks, tucking your hair behind your ear. “You think it’s true now?”
“Yeah, yeah,” you gasp. “Wanna feel what you do to me?”
He groans in your ear. “Oh, we’ll get there.”
Then, he kisses you. And not a polite one. He kisses you like you’re a new recipe he made: new and delicious and ready to be devoured whole.
You moan and his grip on your shirt tightens like you’ll disappear if he doesn’t hold on. You tug on his hair and your hips involuntarily buck against him.
He pulls back and moves his mouth to your neck. “Needy little thing, aren’t you?”
“I could-“ His teeth scrape your neck. “I could say the same thing about you.”
His hands grasp your face and kiss you again, holding you and taking you.
You reach your hands for the hem of his shirt, needing something to ground you with the heat running through your body. As soon as you reach your hands underneath his shirt and scrape your nails up, he seems to go haywire.
His hands grip anywhere they can reach, your back, your hips, your shoulders, your hair. Not quite where you want him.
You pull back and he looks worried. But that look dissipates when you reach for the bottom of your shirt, pulling it up and over your head.
“Oh…pretty girl…” he mumbles, hands sliding up from your hips and across your stomach.
You smile and reach your arms to the back of your bra.
“You want this off too?” You ask.
“Yes, oh god, please-“
Your thighs try to squeeze together from his desperation, but his hips are in the way and he notices.
“You like that baby? You like when I beg?”
You whimper. Oh god. And he heard it.
“I can do that, pretty girl, I can beg,” He says, his blue eyes in yours.
“Fuck, Carmy-“ You groan.
His hands move up, sliding seductively up your skin. “Can I take it off baby? Want it to be me that gets to undress you.”
“Yeah, you can,” You nod, unable to form sentences. He was gonna kill you.
He undoes the clasp on the first try, and his eyes get wider as the bra falls away. Your nipples turn into points from the cold freezer.
“Ohhh pretty girl, look at these,” he says in fascination, running his thumbs over your peaks.
The rough skin against you makes you moan, head falling back as he grasps your tits in his hands.
“So, so pretty,” he says, and then he scrapes his teeth against them. You gasp, as he continues to suck and bite at your breasts. “Wanna hold ‘em every day-“
“Fuck-so glad you like them Carmy,” you groan. “Please, please can you take this off?”
You grasp at his shirt. “Of course, baby,” he says, hair even crazier than normal from your tugging. He helps you lift it up and over his head.
“Oh, god,” you say, eyes widening as you finally see him in his full glory. Seeing his defined biceps next to his pecs and happy trail might knock you out cold. “Oh Carmy you are fantastic.”
That makes him laugh, and you grab his neck to kiss him again, and he moans into your mouth. Your other hand runs down his chest, dragging along the waistband. His hands grasped your boobs, and it felt better than you thought it would.
His desperation and muscle was making you soaked. You needed him to touch you.
“Carm-“ You squirm in his lap, looking for friction.
“I know, baby, I got you,” he says. “C’mere.”
He holds you into him with one arm, and you bite at his shoulder as he looks for the shirts on the hard ground, making a makeshift pillow for you.
He lays you back, and you watch him as he slowly kisses and nicks his way down your body, getting more teethy and possessive as he gets lower.
He reaches the waistband of your pants, and looks up at you for assurance. You look at the door nervously, and he catches it.
“I’m not gonna let anyone see you,” He says. “This is for me,” he grabs your ass. “Understand?”
You nod desperately and wiggle your hips.
“I wanna hear you say it.”
“Heard, chef,” you tease, and he tsks at you, smirking.
He pulls your pants down and over your ankles, adjusting himself to breathe over your thighs.
You inhale sharply as the cold hits your legs, goosebumps forming. Carmy’s hands soothe you, running up your thighs slowly.
He rubs his thumb over the wet spot on your underwear and looks up at you. “All this for me?”
“Told you you’d feel what you do to me.” you say.
“Ugh, pretty girl, you’re gonna kill me.” he groans into your thigh, biting down and you whimper.
“Please, Carm, don’t tease-“
He pulls your underwear down in one swift motion, looking at you for reassurance before pulling your thighs over his shoulders and diving into his meal.
You can’t help your load moan as he licks a stripe all the way up your folds, circling your clit when he gets there.
Your hands twist into his hair but he doesn’t seem to mind. In fact, his hands clamp harder into your thighs as your taste spurs him on.
“Fuck,” His nose- that perfect nose- rubs your clit over and over and you almost squeal just from the visual: his tattooed hands on your thighs, his curls in your fingers, his blue eyes looking straight into yours.
He pushes his tongue into you and your hips buck as you moan when he curls it up. The absence of it inside you makes you whimper, until his middle finger enters you and you really do squeal.
“Carmy- ah-“
“Yeah, baby, lemme hear you.”
He curls his finger and hits that spongey spot inside you, making your hips buck again. His eyes look scoldingly at you before he removes his right hand and presses down on your lower stomach.
“Shit-!” Your head lolls back. “That’s a nice trick, Chef-“ You can feel him smirk.
The pressure makes the finger pumping inside you pleasing in a whole new way. Still sucking on your clit, Carmy curls another finger inside you.
“Fuck, fuck, I’m gonna-“
“I got you, c’mon, come for me, wanna see you come all over my fingers,” Carmy says desperately, and you listen, snapping loose and releasing all over him.
Your boss made you cum. Hard. Did you need to call HR?
Nope. All you needed was to see him rising back over you, kissing up your stomach and over your breasts.
His mouth was covered in your wet, and you grabbed his jaw hard to kiss him, your tongue in his mouth to taste yourself on him.
“Fantastic?” He asks.
“Fantastic.” you respond, meaning it. “Let’s hope Fak gets stuck in traffic,” you whisper into his lips.
“Why?” he responds, teasing. You slide your hand down his chest and over his ass.
“Because I want you inside me,” you say. He moans and kisses you again, hard, whilst reaching for the fly on his jeans.
“I was thinking the same thing,” he smiles into your lips. “Hands, chef, hands.”
You giggle and go to help him pull his pants down his legs and over his feet, kissing his jaw. You run your fingers over the happy trail you had been ogling, and grasp his cock over his boxers. He grunts in your ear, and takes your hand away.
“Gonna come too fast,” he says, holding your hand above your head and kissing you. “You make me crazy.”
“Same here, Carm.” You say, nipping at his neck. Your other hand teases at the waistline of his boxers.
He looks into your eyes. “Are you sure about this?”
“Yes, Carmy, fuck, please.”
“Good.” He says, tugging his boxers down and you finally get to see him in all his glory. God, you didn’t think he could get more beautiful. Seeing him entirely naked sent another wave of wetness between your thighs.
“You’re so pretty, Carmy,” you mumble. He slid his hands up the outside of your thighs, keeping his eyes locked on yours.
“All for you, baby,” his hand goes to his cock, and as the head slides inside you your head lolls back and groan.
“Hey, look at me.” You look back up to stare into his icy eyes. “Don’t stop.” He says.
He slides further into you and your jaw hangs open, trying so hard to keep eye contact with him.
You both groan as he bottoms out, every vein and ridge of him inside of you. Your pussy is still sensitive from the previous mind-blowing orgasm, and-
“God, pretty girl, you feel so good,” he groans in your ear. “Taking me so well.”
You pulse at the praise, and he feels it. You feel his smirk on your jaw. “You like that?”
“Yeah,” you gasp, your nails find purchase on his back.
He rolls into you, and it has your thighs squeezing around his hips immediately.
“Shit, pretty girl.”
“Fuck, Carmy, feels so good,” you moan as he starts his rhythm, every ridge of his cock dragging inside your walls. The cold of the freezer vanishing against the hotness of your bodies.
His forearm is on the floor next your head, his other hand grasping your ass as he pummels into you.
Your back scrapes on the floor, to match the marks you’re making on Carmy’s back.
“Look so good with me inside you,” he grunts and you choke. His hand on your ass moves between your thighs and he circles your clit.
“Fuck- too much,” you gasp, clit sensitive.
“You can take it.”
“Ah- Car- I’m gonna-“
“Me too, pretty girl, cmon-“ The nickname gets you every time, and you gush over him, squeezing around his cock.
He makes a choked sound and falls over the ledge after you, collapsing on top of your chest.
You both breathe heavily, you rubbing up and down his back.
“That might have been more fantastic than your cooking,” You smile to the ceiling. He chuckles into your neck.
“Heard, chef.”
You were both dressed by the time Fak finally arrived, half an hour late complaining about unmissable after-credit scenes.
Parting, you had gained a cell phone number and an address from Carmy, a kiss goodbye, and a “see you later” that promised many more.

his little superstar
pairing: carmy berzatto x reader
summary: you’re a local singer in chicago. the bear crew ends up at one of your shows, and carmy is absolutely speechless the moment he lays eyes on you.
word count: 1.5k
warnings: awkward and bashful carmy that will make you MELT
“Do we really have to go to this thing?” Carmy complained. He had been convinced forced to go out to a bar by his friends. “C’mon, you need to get out. You spend too much in the kitchen screaming at us.” Richie added. So, that was how he ended up in a line outside a bar with Richie, Sydney, Marcus, Natalie, and Pete.
“Isn’t there supposed to be some singer here tonight?” Sydney asked, looking over at Nat.
“Oh, yeah. I think I saw a poster that said that. I saw her here last week. This friend from high school invited me for her birthday. She was really good though. Her songs were great.” Nat started to tell Sydney.
Carmy started to zone out, thinking about all the other places in the world he could be. Once every month, Richie made an effort to drag Carmy to some party or bar. If not, Carmy wouldn’t get out at all. If Carmy had it his way, he’d basically live at the restaurant.
When they finally made it inside the bar, Carmy rushed to the bar to order a drink. He’d barely gotten his drink when Nat and Sydney pulled him over to a high-top table that they found. He was already mentally doing the math on how long he needed to stay before he could leave early.
He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard Nat start cheering. He looked over his shoulder and saw you walk onto the stage. The last thing he was thinking about was leaving early.
He didn’t know what he expected, but you weren’t it. You caught him by surprise, and he felt a smile slowly start to form.
Carmy didn’t realize his mouth was hanging open until Richie elbowed him in the side. “Close your mouth. You’ll catch flies.” Richie teased, noticing the way that Carmy was drooling over you.
“Oh shut up,” Carmy said, rolling his eyes at Richie.
Throughout the show, you made eye contact with Carmy a few times. Every time you met his gaze his cheeks instantly turned bright red.
He stuck out to you.
Most people were drinking and chatting with their friends, blissfully ignoring your presence. Some were silently swaying to the music. Not Carmy. He had his eyes glued to you.
You’d be lying if you said you didn’t playfully bat your eyelashes at him during some of the more flirtatious lyrics you sang.
After you finished your last song, you winked at Carmy before thanking the crowd and leaving the stage.
“Carmy’s got a crush.” Nat said in a singsong voice. Carmy’s cheeks were bright red. Richie slung his arm around Carmy’s shoulders. “Oh, you totally do, cousin,” Richie said, laughing at Carmy’s embarrassment.
“You all are children. I hope you know that.” Carmy said, pulling away from Richie and heading out the front door. He walked outside the bar and pulled out his pack of cigarettes.
He quickly lit one and tried to distract himself from the nagging that was waiting for him when he went back inside.
The stage door beside him swung open, causing him to jump backwards. “Oh, shit. I’m so sorry. I didn’t think anyone would be out here.” The voice quickly apologized.
Carmy looked up and realized it was you. Every coherent thought left his brain. When Carmy realized he hadn’t replied, it was too late to say anything.
You noticed how timid he was. His eyes were glued to the ground, and he hadn’t said a word. “So, did you like the show? I saw you in there.” You asked him, as though he wasn’t overly aware that you’d been watching him all night.
“Oh yeah yeah— it was good. I mean…just wow, you were great.” Carmy said, quickly mumbling through the words.
He was too busy avoiding eye contact to notice the smile on your face. You definitely thought Carmy was cute.
“I don’t think I’ve ever gotten such a raving review before.” You playfully teased him. Carmy finally looked up at you. He was partly shocked he hadn’t scared you away yet.
“Sorry,” he said, sheepishly. You took a step closer to Carmy, testing the waters. He didn’t move away. “Don’t be. It’s cute,” you said, subconsciously twirling your hair around your finger.
Carmy felt like his skin was on fire. You were looking at him. He felt like all of a sudden he couldn’t remember how to breathe.
“I’m Y/N, by the way,” you said, sticking your hand out. He quickly switched his cigarette into the other hand, so he could shake your hand. “I’m Carmy.” He said, giving you a small smile.
“Oh, shit. You’re the guy. The Bear guy.” You said, remembering seeing his name in a newspaper. If it was possible, he started blushing even more. “Yep, that’s me. Have you been? To the restaurant, I mean,” he asked you.
He started worrying about the possibility of you having already gone to the restaurant and seeing him in one of his arguments with Richie.
“No, I haven’t had the chance yet. I don’t know a lot about food. I feel like I wouldn’t be able to truly appreciate it, but maybe if I had someone to teach me and explain it to me…” you suggested, giving Carmy a smile.
His jaw dropped, and his cigarette almost fell out of his lips. “Wait…me?” He asked, feeling like he was definitely in a dream. You giggled at his shock. “I mean, you are the chef.” You said, nudging him.
“Just to be clear, like a date?” He asked.
“That’s up to you, Romeo,” you said, brushing a piece of his hair behind his ear. You watched him shiver as you touched him.
“Can I umm…get your number?” He nervously asked you. You quickly grabbed a pen out of your purse. “Took you long enough,” you said, giggling at him.
You grabbed his hand and quickly scribbled your number on the back of his hand. He stared at it for a few seconds. Carmy was having trouble processing any of this conversation.
“You’re really pretty.” Carmy said, feeling a bit braver but not a lot.
“Thank you. That’s really sweet. You’re also very pretty.” You said, giving his hand a quick squeeze.
Carmy dropped his cigarette and stomped on it. “I should probably go back in. I don’t want to keep you.” He said, starting to walk back towards the front door.
“Hang on a second, pretty boy,” you called after him, stopping him in his tracks. He turned around to face you, confused and nervous. “You forgot something.” You said, taking a few steps towards him.
He instantly checked his pockets. You grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him in to kiss you. It took him a second to kiss you back, having to process his initial shock. Once he kissed you back, he was still too nervous to touch you.
“I’m not going to break, I promise,” you teased him. You grabbed both his hands and moved them to wrap around your waist. He tightly held onto your waist and didn’t let go. You pulled him back into the kiss, letting your fingers run through his hair. He lightly hummed against the kiss, causing you to smirk.
You pulled out of the kiss. “You better call me.” You jokingly warned him.
“Don’t think I could forget if I tried,” Carmy said, as you headed back inside through the stage door.
He let out a sigh and raked his fingers through his now-messy hair. “She’s perfect,” he mumbled to himself. He took a few deep breaths before heading back inside.
“Ay, he’s back. We were starting to think you left, Carm.” Nat said, as Carmy rejoined their group.
“Holy shit,” Richie said, staring at Carmy in shock. Carmy froze, having no idea what Richie was talking about. “What?” Carmy asked, cluelessly.
Richie just chuckled at Carmy’s clear confusion. “Who were you outside with?” Richie asked, smirking at him. Carmy’s eyes went wide. “What—uhh what do you mean?” Carmy lied.
“So, that’s your own lipstick that you’re wearing?” Richie asked. Carmy realized what he meant and started furiously trying to wipe your lipstick off his lips, causing the whole group to start laughing. “So who was it?” Nat asked. Carmy refused to even look her in the eyes.
Then, Sydney spotted something on his hand as he tried to remove the lipstick. She grabbed his wrist and flipped his hand over. They all saw your name scribbled on his hand next to a phone number.
“Oh, shit. You got yourself your own little superstar, cousin?” Richie said, in shock.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Carmy said, pulling his hand away from Sydney. Carmy knew what teasing awaited him for the rest of the night. “I’m not gonna lie, I’m impressed. I didn’t think you’d be able to pull that off” Nat teased him.
Carmy wasn’t offended. He also was left wondering how he managed to get your phone number.

haven’t posted a hatchedfield head canon in a hot minute but so here’s some (spoiler alert: it’s mostly Jon Matteson characters)
-Daniel Stopwatch absolutely wears light up sketchers
-Gary Goldstein tells you the time by saying shit like “it’s a quarter past eight.”
-Gary Goldstein flips people off by pushing his glasses up with his middle finger.
-The first anime Richie ever watched was robotech
-Grace Chastity’s bike has a pink basket on the front and streamers on the handle bars.
-Paul’s favourite video game is VR Job Simulator.
-Max and Steph the type of people to troll kids on roblox (the nerdy prudes are too but just Max and Steph specifically would I feel)
-Charlotte Sweetly 100% listens to Laufey while drinking wine and staring out the window
-Ruth would absolutely love Chappell Roan’s music
-Trevor and Rudolph dates mostly just involve them walking around talking about stupid stuff and then getting lost in a forest for about an hour
-As a kid I remember playing this one “kid’s bible game” where you had to like spot the difference or find something in the background or something and I feel like that’s the only video game Grace would ever play.
-Miss Holloway would also absolutely love Chappell Roan
-Richie’s favourite Pokémon is Evee just because of the vast multitude of ways Evee can evolve and stuff like that character metaphor blah blah blah
-Richie hates the ultra violet monster energy but drinks a shit ton of it cause the cans are his favourite colour and he likes collecting them.
