1946 - Brooklyn

He had enough. He had hit his limit, and he couldn’t take another moment of waiting, of this stupid fucking dance around between yourself and him. Bucky was the head of the Brooklyn mafia; he commanded the room and everyone in it without so much as a single glance and yet…

You were annoying. Shit, if you didn’t make him want to pull his hair out every time, you opened your mouth with some intelligent remark or had rolled your eyes at him.

Bucky didn’t know whether he wanted to spank you or kiss you until all you could remember was him. He had never wanted a woman as badly as he wanted you. You were the end all be all for him.

No other woman was as fiery, as spirited and stubborn. No other woman in the great city of New York lit a fire in his veins the way you had. Even when he was overseas fighting in the army, in the 107th, with women lining up to screw him, he only thought of you.

And when he had gotten that dammed letter that winter, hearing about how you nearly froze to death, Bucky almost highjacked a plane to fly back to the states to take care of you.

You were his, and he was yours, yet your stubbornness wouldn’t allow you to cave. Oh, you danced around the issue, the idea of having someone like him take care of you.

And he was sick of it.

He was going to act, and he was going to act now. He had been waiting too long to feel you, to have you, and his patience was stretched as far as it would go. He was going to have to do this the hard way, he was going to have to take what he wanted for himself, and if you should protest, then he would have to spank your cute little ass.

“I won’t be long,” he told the driver of his car, letting them know to have the engine idling when he went in to retrieve his prize, “if I’m not out in 10 minutes, come inside.”

Bucky kicked the door opened and stepped outside, straightening his suit jacket and tie before he started crossing the street toward Steve’s place.

After finally convincing you to abandon that hell-hole you were living in, you shacked up with your brother until you could make other arrangements.

Well, today, ‘other arrangements’ were going to find you.

He couldn’t be too pissed at you; you were a bombshell of a dame; you had this beautiful fire in your soul that made Bucky wild. If only you wouldn’t be so stubborn and realize that Bucky was the best thing for you, then you could move on with your life and let him spoil you.

God, how he wanted to spoil you.

All the prettiest clothes and the best dinners he could take you on in the city. Weekend trips to his family’s cabin in upstate New York. The best kind of life he could provide for you while running this business that would guarantee you safety and security.

Bucky wanted it all, with you. He wanted the marriage, the house and the kids. He wanted to go to bed with you by his side and wake up with you in the morning before all your tiny, loved brats would come screaming into your bedroom about who hit who and who made who mad.

But it all had to start from here. This is where the relationship would start; Bucky would see to that.

He was granted access to Steve’s place after knocking and exchanging small pleasantries with him before turning his attention to you.

You were gorgeous. Every time he looked at you, he felt as if his heart was going to leap out of his chest, and today was no exception. You forewent makeup, kept your hair natural and loose, you were barefoot save for a pair of black slipper shoes on your feet, the toes scuffed and worn. You were beautiful. That was a fact, and Bucky was going to have you finally.

“What do you want?” You sneered, your arms crossed over your chest while wearing one of your favourite dresses, and his too, that accentuated the colour of your eyes.

“Well, since you asked so nicely,” he grinned and strode toward you, one hand shoved in his pocket and the other by his side, “are you gonna make this easy on me, angel?”

“I am not your angel,” you stepped back as he stepped closer, “and there’s this thing called personal space that you’re not-“

“You talk too much, doll.”

Bucky rolled his eyes and grabbed your arm, throwing you over his shoulder, hearing your squeak and feeling your tension against him.

“James Buchanan Barnes! If you do not put me down this instant-“ You shrieked again when he pinched the back of your thighs and muttered a warning for you to settle down.

Bucky rests his hand on your lower thigh as he turned and started walking back toward the front door of Steve’s place, nodding his head in passing. “Steve.”

“Bucky.” Steve grinned, his arms crossed over his chest and no genuine concern for you, knowing full well that of everyone in the city, Bucky would keep you the safest. He had almost been waiting for this moment, waiting for Bucky to snap and do something about you finally.

“Are you not going to do something?” You called for Steve, your wide eyes and startled look nearly enough to change his mind if it weren’t for Bucky soothing you with a gentleness that you overlooked.

“Keep her safe!” Steve closed the door behind you two, laughing under his breath when he heard you curse like a sailor.

The moment he set you down in the back of that cursed car, you were ripping your shoe off to chuck at his head. “You have a whole lot of nerve!”

Bucky ignored you for a moment, telling his driver to take off. He straightened himself out before he glanced your way with a smirk on his eyes and his eyes brimming with amusement as he took in the state of you and your dress.

He was looking at you shamelessly, staring at the swell of your breasts and the curve of your hips as you press yourself back against the car door with a scowl on your face. Your left leg has bent the stockings you were now ripped from you trying to knee him in the back so he would let you go.

“I have a lot of nerve?” He hummed, moving his attention from your gorgeous curves to the swells of your lips.

“What is wrong with you?” You huffed, your chest rising and falling, bringing attention to your buxom chest trapped beneath a row of buttons. “Have you lost your mind, Barnes? Manhandling-“

He couldn’t take it. He had to feel you.

He lurched forward and captured your lips with his. he trapped you against the backseat with his arms, hovering above you as you grabbed the front of his suit jacket, your eyes wide and your breath caught in your throat. He pulled away to let you breathe, but he didn’t depart your space. He kept himself pressed against you, kept you trapped between the door and his body, feeling your hands smoothing down the front of his suit as you were kept in a daze.

“This is the quietest-“ he felt the sting of your hand on his cheek, the resounding crack as you smacked him.

“I am going to forgive you for that, sweetheart.” He rubbed his cheek where you smacked him, his blue eyes flashing. “But only because you are shocked.”

You raised your hand to smack him again, only to have him catch your wrist. He didn’t squeeze; he didn’t treat you with disrespect or smack you back like some men would’ve done. Instead, he pulled your hand close to his mouth and placed a soft kiss on the inside of your palm. Another followed the first kiss, and soon enough, there was a trail up the inside of your wrist and back again, all while you were staring at Bucky with eyes round as the moon and parted lips.

“I love your fire, baby.” He muttered in your hand, keeping a tight grip when you tried to yank your wrist out of his grasp.

“But if you try and smack me again,” he lifts his head and locked eyes with you, “I will pull you over my knee and spank your cute little ass. Do I make myself clear?”

You inhaled sharply, rendered speechless and unable to move by the intensity in his gaze.

“Bucky…” you swallowed thickly, afraid of pushing him now.

“Yes, honey?” he crooned, dropping your wrist in favour of cupping your cheek.

“I’m…s-sorry….” You stuttered and stumbled over your words. “…f-for smacking you….”

“You’re forgiven, sweetheart,” Bucky leaned back in and kissed you ever so softly, mumbling against your flesh, “but don’t think I missed how excited you got over the threat of me spanking you.”

“You’re incorrigible,” you turned away and fixed your eyes on the passing scenery.

“And yet, you still can’t get enough of me.” He cooed in your ear, squeezing your thigh.

“No thank you.” You say, politely turning down a drink from one of the guys you go to college with.

“C’mon, sweetheart. It’s just one drink.” Gerald says, wrapping his arm around your waist.

Bucky watched from the other side of the bar as you continued to politely turn the guys down, but they wouldn’t take no for an answer. He could tell how uncomfortable you were.

“It’s just a drink, Y/N.” Fred says, putting his hand on your thigh.

That made you even more uncomfortable than you already were. Bucky downed the rest of his drink and made his way towards you.

“She said no.” Bucky says, standing behind Gerald and Fred.

“No one asked you, man.” Fred says.

“Why don’t you run along?” Gerald says.

Bucky chuckled before grabbing the back of their necks and slamming their heads against the bar counter, making everyone in the bar go quiet and look at them. You quickly stood up and backed away with wide eyes.

“How about you two run along?” Bucky says.

They were too scared to say anything so they just nodded their heads. Bucky let go of them and they stood up. They were about to bolt out of the bar when Bucky grabbed the back of their shirts.

“If I ever and I mean ever see you two near her again, I won’t hesitate to kick your asses, got it?” He says.

“Got it.” They say in unison.

Bucky let go of them and they sprinted out of the bar. You stood there with a surprised look on your face. No one has never done that for you.

“Are you ok, ma’am?” Bucky asks softly.

“I am now. Thank you.” You say, giving him a smile.

“Can I buy you a drink?” He asks.

“I’d like to know your name first.” You say.

“James Barnes.” He held his hand out for you to shake. “Everyone I know calls me Bucky.” He says.

“Nice to meet you, James.” You shook his hand. “I’m Y/N.” You introduced yourself. “Now that we know each other’s names, I’ll accept that drink now.” You say with a smile.

You and Bucky took a seat at the bar counter and he ordered you two drinks.

“So tell me, doll face…” Bucky took a sip of his bourbon before asking his question. “What’s a pretty girl like you doing at a bar like this?” He asks.

“I go to the local college and I wanted to come here for a couple drinks after all the studying I’ve been doing lately.” You tell him.

“What are you studying?” He asks curiously.

“I want to be a nurse.” You say.

“That’s amazing. I hope all that studying pays off.” He says.

“I hope so too. I graduate next month.” You say.

You learned that Bucky is one of the most powerful men in Brooklyn, New York. You and Bucky spent the whole night talking and getting to know each other till the bar was about to close. He even offered to walk you home from the bar. Bucky being the gentleman he is, wrapped his arm around your waist to keep you close to him and to protect you.

“Thank you for saving me and for walking me home, James.” You say with a smile.

“You don’t have to thank me, babydoll. I have your back forever and always.” Bucky smiles. “If you don’t mind, I would like to see you again.” He says.

“I would absolutely love that.” You smiled. “I’m free tomorrow afternoon after school.” You say.

“Great so it’s a date.” He says.

Bucky cupped your cheeks and kissed you passionately. Your hands grasped his suit jacket to steady yourself. Your lips moved in sync with his. It felt like everything around you guys was in slow motion. Bucky pulled away slowly, looking deep in your eyes.

“See you tomorrow afternoon, doll.” Bucky says softly.

“See you tomorrow, Bucky.” You say, smiling widely.

Pairs was next, Y/n had a friend who could help them get off the radar there. So the day of arriving, both of them had to change, for a party of sorts. As Y/n and Bucky walked side by side, Bucky couldn’t help but take her in her dress that went to her thigh, it reminded him of when he bumped into her at inferno, along with her heels calling for attention as they hit the uneven cobble road. Right before walking in she stopped, sighing she looked at him.

“Bucky.”  He hummed and looked her in the eyes. “I want to warn you before we go in, there are dangerous people here, so don’t talk to anyone unless I say, so, I don’t want anything happening.” 

Bucky nodded with what she said, before walking in with her as they walked through he noticed people dancing on large platforms in the air that were designed to look like chandeliers, and lights flashed around. Y/n walked through unbothered, however Bucky couldn’t help but look around he’d never had been to an underground party. Y/n walked up a set of stairs making her way to a blond woman, whose lips pulled up when she saw her. “Y/n.” The woman greeted me.

“Yelena, I hope Natasha warned you I was coming.” Y/n said before sitting down, with Bucky not far behind. 

“Who's this?” Yelena’s eyes seemed to almost eat Bucky whole. 

Y/n wrapped a hand around his bicep protectively. “My husband.” Her overly kind smile seemed wolfish as jealousy consumed her almost wole. 

Yelena caught on to the difference, nodding. “Natasha says you wanna disappear.” Yelena begins to explain why they were actually there.

“I have a hit on my head, who wouldn’t want to disappear after that?” Y/n hisses in irritation the last few weeks had been a lot, and she just wanted a break. 

“What’s gotten you in this situation? I thought you changed how things ran in New York, and everyone feared ‘The Queen’ who did it.” Yelena almost taunted, the two’s relationship had always been a tense one. 

“Are you going to help me or not?” Y/n asked, getting ready to pull her gun out. 

Yelena held her hands up in fain defeat. “I’m not someone stupid enough to be an enemy of yours, I may not like you, but I'm no idiot.” 

“That’s why I’m glad you're in this business, now can we get this wrapped up? You never know who's around.”  Y/n looked over the edge of the balcony behind her, to make sure no one was paying too much attention to something they didn’t need to be seeing. 

“I’ll help you since you are a friend of my sisters.” Yelena nods, as she begins pulling out papers and new identifications for them. 

“Thanks Yelena.” Y/n said before both her and Bucky got out of the booth, Yelena nodded, then acted as if Y/n hadn’t been there. Y/n and Bucky back tracked their way out, she was looking over her shoulder. “We’ve gotta hurry.” 

When they were back at the hotel, Y/n sat on the edge of the bed, flipping through the passports, ID’s and other documents. Bucky spotted her as he walked out of the bathroom from showering. He could see the worry weighing her down at the moment he came up and sat next to her. “What's wrong?” He asked looking at her hands that neetend up the documents. 

“Nothing.” She sighed rolling her shoulders back, she placed the stack into the nightstand. Bucky looked down at her, asking for the truth. “I just hate this, being on the run, you should have had time to recover.”

“After tonight let’s go to my family’s island, know one knows about it but my family.” He placed his hand on her shoulder to comfort her, Y/n leaned into his touch, she leaned forward, slowly catching his lips.

Bucky followed what she did leaning himself into the kiss, her tongue begged to be let in, he allowed her access in, she slowly pushed him down onto the bed, she untucked the towel around his waist her y/e/c eyes looked at him, showing him her dominance over the situation, showing him that this was something she wanted. Her lips kissed his pelvis as her lips slowly moved up his well toned chest, as Bucky began to unzip the back of her dress, she still had on, as it was slowly removed, she was revealed to have only panties on that were quickly ripen off and thrown to the floor. Bucky kissed her, like she had before, but instead of lingering he led her to the bed, where he kneeled down in front of her and he did one small lap with his tongue across her pussy, causing Y/n’s head to lull back and letting a moan escape through her lips. “Bucky.” Y/n said his name as a praise as she pulled him closer to her begging for more now.

You never usually get this mad at James but today he really pissed you off.

You had went out without telling Bucky or any of his men and he was furious at you.

“You can’t just get up and go with all the creeps out there!” Bucky yelled at you.

“Just because I don’t hurt you doesn’t mean everyone else won’t either!” Bucky shouted at you and you didn’t do anything but stand there and take it.

“God! Your so stupid” he spat

“Your like a child! How can you be so selfish” he yelled at you and that was your breaking point. You hated being called selfish after your past of being called selfish all the time and the worst thing for you was he knew that.

You felt the tears well up into your eyes and you began to cry but he was too frustrated to notice.

You wiped your tears and left the room silently as you walked down the hallway all his men looked at you but you ignored their stares.

“I can not belie-“ Bucky was about to insult you again but got cut off by you not being there.

“Y/N?” He said and then left his office to find you.

“Where did she go?” Bucky asked Sam and Sam looked at him with a frown.

“Man I think you should calm down before you follow her” Sam said and bucky looked at him angrily before calming down a bit.

“She only went to a cafe with her friends” Sam said and bucky rolled his eyes.

“She doesn’t understand it’s dangerous” bucky explained and Sam nodded.

“I just think you should give her some time to I don’t know..calm down too” Sam said and bucky agreed.

It was the next day and you and Bucky hadn’t even seen each other. You was so pissed off because you knew he knew how much that word affected you.

You didn’t leave your room at all. You didn’t eat,drink,watch anything. You just say there on your bed and slept at night. You did absolutely nothing just sat there with your thoughts all day.

Until there was a knock on your door.

“Doll? Can I come in?” Bucky asked through the door and you didn’t answer.

“Doll?” Bucky asked again and again didn’t get an answer.

“I’m coming in” he said and opened the door expecting to see you asleep but no, you was sat on your bed facing the wall not paying any attention to him at all.

“Doll?” Bucky said as he sat down next to you but you didn’t move an inch.

“I didn’t mean to shout at you” he said as he went to touch you but you moved away.

“Doll..you’ve got to understand why I’m mad” Bucky said but got no answer.

“Say something” Bucky said but no answer again and he was getting worried at how bad he must’ve annoyed you so he left.

The next day.

Bucky was repeating the scene that had happened again and again in his head to figure out what he had done besides yell at you because you was never usually this mad at him yelling at you until..

“Your such a child!How can you be so selfish?” He repeated in his head realising what he had said.

“Fuck..Fuck…Fuck!” Bucky angrily slapped his face with his hand.

“You alright boss?” Peter said opening the door.

“No! I’m not now move!” Bucky said as he quickly went to the spare bedroom you had been sleeping in recently.

He whacked open the door causing you to jump, and he quickly hugged you tightly.

“I’m so so so sorry doll” Bucky muttered into your neck as he gently placed kisses on it.

But again you still didn’t answer him.

“Please baby, doll, please say something..even shout at me I don’t care just say something please” Bucky pleaded to you and you huffed.

“I dont like you” you muttered and he frowned knowing how much he messed up.

“I know, I’m sorry doll” he said hugging you even tighter. “I know how much you hate being called that and I- It was in the heat of the moment and I- I know that’s not an excuse but I- I just- I’m sorry” he said softly looking into your eyes.

And that’s when you half smiled.

“I forgive you but you have to get me McDonald’s now like right now” you said and he chuckled.

And then Bucky began thinking about how he hadn’t seen you come out your room at all. So what did you eat?

“When was the last time you ate?” He asked you scared for your answer.

“Two days ago” you muttered and his jaw dropped.

“Come on, we’re going now” Bucky said and you was confused.

“Where to?” You asked him and mais he dragged you to his car.

“McDonald’s” Bucky said and you smiled and smiled even more at his worry for you.
