(not proofread pls, this is what i call formatted brainrot)

Dan Heng lounging on your bed after a shower, curled up with a book, the top few buttons of his loose white button-up undone, the reading glasses perched on his nose. Everything he does, no matter how mundane, manages to have an effect on you. The damp hair clinging to his forehead, his nimble fingers turning the page and smoothing over the sides, the chamomile tea he’s letting steep on the nightstand. The warm smile that breaks out on his face the moment his eyes land on you.

Dan Heng cuddling you on the couch when he’s on break. Pom pom is definitely not too fond of finding you wrapped up in each other’s embrace in the middle of the astral express, not to mention the glares that welt sends in your way… but they suppose you both get a free pass. “Ah, young love…. Let them be, hmm?" Himeko whispered to Welt, before he could disgracefully break your bubble. 

Dan Heng dancing with you in the middle of the night. He pulls his trench coat around you and wraps his arms tightly around your shoulders, practically shoving you into his chest, as he sways gently and rests his head atop yours. (yes, he hums occasionally, and yes, he chuckles while squeezing you tighter when he hears your surprised gasp.)

Dan Heng leaving pressed maple leaves around, whenever he visits you. You never understood why he had that habit, but he insisted on giving you the strangest (yet endearing) trinkets. Whether it be a keychain of a maple leaf encased in resin, or bookmarks with the same being pressed into paper, he always found a way to give you those darned maple leaves… whatever do they mean?

also i can't stop thinking about peter's face when charlie catches him smoking at the party. he immediately goes to hide it and he sounds stressed out when he greets her, knowing he's been caught doing something he shouldn't. this instantly makes me think of the fact that peter has been hiding his drug use from everyone, but especially his little sister. in his mind, even if she doesn't comprehend what he's doing, he still doesn't want her to see him in the throes of his addictions / bad habits. i doubt he's even worried she'll tell their mom considering milly is on record saying that charlie is a character that very much likes her own company and wants to be left alone, so she has no reason to Go Running to Mommy to get her big brother in trouble since she doesn't care about being seen as 'the favourable' child / want time with her mom at peter's expense. he literally just doesn't want her to see him like that.

cainhurst is a strictly matriarchal monarchy. the king-consort is considered more administrative help and military leader than a proper ruler, and almost always a member of cainhurst's high houses.

the prince and princess as well as their children rank higher than their spouses, or any other royal consort that was not put on the throne. the priest-regent is the head of cainhurst's religious branch, and ranks the highest in the high court. they are often chosen by the queen herself to represent the ancestors' will and guide her in her ultimate quest; to ascend as yharnam did before her.

the military branch is depicted as one but for clarity i should've done two; the queen's royal knights are separate from cainhurst's main military force, being hand-picked by the royal family to serve as cleansers of beasts and maintainers of order in the castle and surroundings, as opposed to a force that may be sent abroad. in general, equivalent ranks of royal knights rank higher than their ground or naval counterpart. the majority of army officers are titles inherited within the artistocracy, but the queen may knight anyone she desires.

the high ministers are also chosen in part by the royal family and in part by fellow ministers. they serve as head aministrators to matters of economy, internal and external affairs (which is considered a joke position, seeing how isolated cainhurst is) and overall advise the queen and manage lesser kingdom issues. they are almost always members of the high houses and lesser ministers who were elevated to their positions by nomination or heredity.

the marquis of cainhurst's greater houses rank similarly to lesser ministers. in retrospect i should have separated administrative and aristocratic branches, but we all know those end up being the same thing, as there are very few members of the bourgeoisie who would be chosen as ministers in what appears to be a very enclosed, self important hierarchy focused on nobility to the depends of the lower classes lol.

all royal knights are equal in rank to at least counts, heads of the lesser houses. this is the Drama Zone tm where a lot of political and literal backstabbing happens, because knights are hand-picked by the queen, including some from outside the nobility, and suddenly find themselves equals to members of cainhurst's lesser houses.

generic courtiers include lesser aristocrats such as some viscounts or barons, and especially notable members of the bourgeoisie.

i didnt go into crazy detail on royal servants, but there is a hierarchy there too - this one is probably the most well explained in the game besides the royal knights, as we see the castle groundskeepers wielding elegant swords, which in europe have almost always been reserved for nobles. the eldest of the queen's handmaidens is the highest ranked of the castle servants, followed by the head groundskeeper, a chef and royal taster, the royal handmaidens (no men are permitted to serve the queen directly, that would be uncouth) and the other servants.

this also assumes that cainhurst is the ruling body (politically speaking, we all know things are complicated) over yharnam, seeing as Annalise is a direct descendant. this also assumes varying degrees of blood relation to the phtumerian royal family in Cainhurst as shown by the demarcation between Greater and Lesser houses.

I want to add this one tiny headcanon I have on this blog as well: Bakura has a pet snake called Manu. Listen, he names every pet snake he gets after one dies Manu. But why Manu? Well, "The Egyptians visualized a universal mountain split into a western peak (Manu) and an eastern peak (Bakhu) which served as the supports for heaven." And in my headcanon his name comes from Bakhu Soo.

was rewatching a couple cutscenes to figure out some character sheet stuff and just,,,,,,,, the way dan heng always so casually touches and protects march, when she is literally THE team shielder,,, oof. my heart

steps between tb march and arlan(who is injured) to use his spear to deflect an attack and ends up having a bit of the energy he deflects damage his bracer,,,,,holds his hand out to grab march's arm so she doesn't fall over after the tb's stellaron blast in the doomsday beast fight aftermath - putting his hand on march's head to push her down and out of the way of danger while tb spins to smack the absolute SHIT out of a poor silvermane guard when they need to make a break for it and escape in belobog,, KEEPS his arm on her while he spins them both around so HES in the direct line of fire between march and the other guards that he then attacks with a single handed spear sweep--

and i forgot the specific scene but HE DOES THE SAME SHIT OF STEPPING IN TO DEFLECT A PROJECTIAL MAGICAL ATTACK WITH HIS SPEAR A SECOND TIME IM(at least i think so because i recall a different animation than that one i just seen but i ccould be wrong and just massive cope)

he is like CONSTANTLY putting himself between his companions and any foe/danger he values their lives WAY more than his own wants to keep them safe at all costs

Okay, I wanted to write this up considering that going forward we need to establish how much the muses are intertwine with each other. So, let's start with:

Percy's new party members~!

//Considering that after Percy...um, spoilers, gone from his world...he was soon transmigrated (yes, isekai'd) into another one. And so, he has met a few along the way. And here they are:

Aladdin

He and Percy met when Percy was travelling in a city similar to Ank'Harel, this Aladdin is apparently the heir to the King of the Forty Thieves (meaning yes, Aladdin grew up with his father and has never met Jasmine). They become allies and travel buddies when Aladdin wanted to part from his father and the thieves due to some...independence issues. Thus their journey began, and Aladdin was mostly the rogue assassin on the team...in short, Percy was reminded of Vax'ildan.

Belle

Belle is mostly a mix of Keyleth and Vex'ahlia, Percy bumped into her when she was looking at a local library about curses. Apparently she was someone that was on a mission to break a friend's curse because an Enchantress was corrupted with power. With this in mind, Percy offered his services to help her along with Aladdin, and together added in the quest to find a spell that will break the Beast's curse. Percy was almost painfully aware how much Belle almost looked like his lost former love.

Alice

A lost young lady that ran away from home to escape her family trying to place her in Bedlam Asylum, after witnessing her parents and sister being killed by greedy relatives. Percy rescued her and was painfully reminded of his own dead sister, Cassandra. Taking her as his own family, Alice soon joins the party and reveals that she can do Wonderland Magic.

Davion

A wandering Dragon Knight that has lost his memories of his past, Percy had a rough run in with him after Davion had gone berserk and attacking a few mercenaries that are after him for bounty. While Percy wanted to collect the bounty, he instead helped the other escape and mostly let him join the party, despite Belle and Aladdin's protests. Now they are on a mission to find Davion's past.

Naveen

A fallen Prince that now travels the world with music and love, Percy once again having the dejavu of seeing another Scanlan. This upcoming bard was trying to look for a voodoo witch doctor to help him lift a curse upon him, which happens to be that each night, he turns into a slimy frog. Percy at first didn't want to help the other...but after Naveen begged to join their party, Percy reluctantly let him. Now the man plays songs and tells tales, especially one of once meeting a sassy waitress.

Rapunzel

With glowing magical healing hair, Percy had stumbled upon her after his run-in with some bandits, and she had found him and taken him back to her tower. Apparently she was trying to escape said tower while her mother is away, and wanted to explore the world. Percy, noticing she was indeed wanting to escape her isolated life, awkwardly asked if she wanted to join them. And she indeed said yes...and Percy felt his heart soften at remembering how much Rapunzel reminded him of Pike.

Diluc immediately rushed to the bedroom the moment he heard your cries.

“Y/N…” His heart broke when he saw the tears in your restless eyes as you sat on the bed, wrapping the blanket around you in an attempt to comfort yourself as you cried your little heart out.

“D-Diluc…” You whimpered and reached your arms out to him, in which he took and wrapped you around his. He placed a hand on your head as you rested on his chest.

“What happened…?” He gently lifted your chin up to look at him.

You stared into his eyes, eyes that were full of genuine concern and sadness.

You recalled your nightmare, hiccuping and tearing up at the mention of the terrible parts as Diluc’s hand lovingly rubbed your back through it all.

“I-It all felt so real…” A few more tears ran down your cheeks.

Diluc placed his forehead against yours.

“They’re not real, Y/N…It’s okay, you’re safe here with me.”

He held his hand out. You placed your hand on his and he held it.

“See? It was all just a nightmare. You don’t have to worry. I’ll always be here.” He planted a kiss on your head. “ It’s okay. You’re okay…”

“I’m okay…” You reassured yourself and rested your head on his chest.

Thoma was already by your side the moment you opened your eyes, your vision albeit blurry due to the tears you cried. You felt his hand on your face, his thumb caressing your cheek and wiping your tears away.

“I’m here Y/N…I’m here…”

Your vision finally cleared up and you saw the nervousness in Thoma’s eyes, his hands trembling at the sight of you in pain.

“Thoma!” You immediately sat up and hugged him, and he hugged you back.

“It’s okay Y/N…you were having a bad dream.” 

Yo noticed that he already had a pitcher of water and a meal prepared for you on your bedside table. 

“Would you like to tell me about it?” He asked as he poured you a glass of water.

You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down. You opened your mouth, but struggled to get a word out. You didn’t know where to start because you were pretty much still jarred by the nightmare. So you just sat there shaking and whimpering, not really sure what to say.

“It’s okay…” Thoma handed you a glass of water. “Drink some water sweetheart, you’ll get dehydrated.”

He rubbed your back as you chugged the glass down.

“Do you want some soup? It’s your favorite.”

You nodded and he immediately stirred the bowl before blowing a spoonful to cool it down then started feeding you.

“We’ll work it out okay? We’ll find a way to make you feel better.”

bio: baelon targaryen was born on the day of is nameday tournament held by his father in honor of being brought into the world. while he managed to survive his birth , his mother did not , leaving he and his older sister rhaenyra without a mother , and a grieving father. ( i also have a version where aemma survives for those interested. ) this left baelon being raised primarily by household staff , and his older sister for the early years of his life. missing his mother from a young age , he never gave much thought to responsibilities of being the potential heir , preferring the chance to enjoy the life he had been given at the cost of his mother's. this would obviously cause tension for those who would prefer seeing him upon the throne , but he always supported his sister rhaenyra. while the egg placed in his cradle did not hatch due to his weak state when he was born , he would claim silverwing at the age of ten while visiting dragonstone with his sister. the she-dragon having seen the lad before and choosing him as her rider.

I have a tiny headcanon that the name Aemma is considered the feminine equivalent of Aemon, and that Aemma Arryn is named after her mother, Daella's, favorite brother.

AM HC DUMP ( please i'm obsessed with this little freak please think he's cool too )

full name is asmodeum but peter insists on giving him a nickname because "that's what friends do"; he settles for am because he hates "azzy" and "modi" ( almost pronounced like "moody" bc grump teehee ).

he is what's known as a guardian. his kind exist suspended in deep space within the d-16 dimensional region ( the highest tier of dimensions, where the deities, guardians and likewise ilk reside ) waiting to be called on. think of it like a "prayer" being answered, only it is exclusively for supernatural / magical matters. they typically are granted to those looking to hone magical / cosmic power and act as their teachers. they are impervious to morality, meaning a guardian in the wrong hands is potentially a universe-ender. luckily, peter is pure of heart and seeks only to release himself from his curse. typically, when the goal has been achieved guardians are then put down as they are simply too dangerous to leave laying around in other dimensions. however, when peter murks the cult and frees himself of paimon, he refuses to do so with am, claiming that they're still friends and he still has so much to learn.

has an ego, but it's arguably deserved. this isn't to say his arrogance can't be annoying / even a little mean, but he is factually a denizen of the highest ranking dimension in the entire universe lmao. unless you are also from there, you are naught but a speck of dust on his radar and he has no problems letting you know that if you get smart with him. is a total tsun ( i actually loathe that term but i know people will understand what i mean if i use it lmao ) once the Fee-Fees start setting in. you mustn't know that he enjoys your presence. that would be ridiculous. totally unfounded and foolish of you to assume that a being of such standing would care for you. don't be daft. is not even technically a "he", but peter asks how he should refer to am and am responds that he is indifferent as he has no need for gender. hilariously, when peter asks if he's a she, he reacts with a dissatisfied noise and so peter goes with he ( his first suggestion is actually they; he persists because am himself sounds unconvinced / vaguely unsure and he wants to get it right ). in the case of humans, he finds bodily functions SO WEIRD. when i tell you peter once got the hiccups and the first time that sound left him am jumped and demanded to know what was wrong with him? yeah. when he finds out y'all need to excrete? -50 friendship points permanently. refers to his brain as "the database". guardians are incredibly knowledgeable creatures ( it's kind of their purpose, to know things, lmao ) and are capable of gleaning information about both objects and people in a few seconds via 'scanning' them. he's like a sentient google without the shitty capitalism. on the topic of referring to stuff, refers to peter as "[his] master" and seldom uses his name until later on. another common term is "[his] wielder". this is typical of a guardian, as despite their great power they are adopted into a subservient role. peter has mixed feelings about it as he views he and am as equals and friends from the beginning. will offer assistance to others if they ask directly, but typically is very driven and dedicated to peter. keeps his interests at the forefront and doesn't take kindly to 'distractions' ( though cannot separate 'distractions' from friends just being friends until later ). NOT receptive to touch. only peter may hold him unless you gain his permission ( which he is rather tight with ). you'll get zapped if you try to grab him without his express consent; if you persist, the zap will increase in voltage until it eventually becomes powerful enough to end your life. thankfully, once is enough for most people. i have to reiterate: AM IS A STAFF. HE IS NOT A PERSON. that being said, later on into his development he becomes aware of the importance of connection between humans and opts to adopt a form to better communicate himself to them. THIS FORM IS A PROJECTION, but he is such a powerful entity that it is a corporeal one. he can be interacted with as you might a person unless he wills the opposite.
