AU DL story: All the DL boys are not vampires, just human teens in NYC. (Story includes: Drugs, Sex, Stupidity, Mid90s and Kids inspired)

This was going to be the summer I will never forget. I had just turned 17, in late June, growing up in New York City, I was always by myself, I lived in an apartment complex with my father but he was rarely home due to his work. My father always told me to just go home after school and I had chores to do so I never really cared to make friends, I just focused on my studies and staying home, cooking, cleaning and reading. Summer came along pretty quickly...I didn't want to start my senior year with no friends. I told myself I would try to make friends this summer. I was honestly determined. It's kind of pathetic really.

It was a Friday morning, and I decided to go out for a walk around the neighborhood, I've lived here my whole life and not once have I just spun the block. I looked around and noticed a few guys at the local park, they were playing basketball and skateboarding around, doing cool tricks, I was pretty impressed by their tricks, I decided to go inside the park and sit on the bench to silently observe. I noticed a few girls that looked my age or slightly older, hanging around too and watching the guys. I began to doze off thinking how cool it would be to befriend them, but of course I am slightly (super) shy. My dozing off was abruptly disturbed by a basketball coming towards me. I get hit in the face and my nose starts to bleed...my freaking luck. "Fuck, shit! I'm so sorry, you good??" a boy's voice said to me, he has spunky red hair, he was actually pretty cute, I look up at him holding my nose and I just say "yea" he sees the blood and panics a little. "You are not okay, hold on , I gotchu right now." he tells me and takes his shirt off and gives it to me to use for my nose. Another guy comes up to us, he’s got raven black hair and glasses, he looks at the redhead with such a bruh face. “Ayato I had napkins..anyway are you okay? We can take you to the nearby urgent care” he insisted, he was super polite too. I didn’t want to come off as annoying but I did feel like passing out so I simply said yes. Both guys called over all their friends, it was 4 more guys and they escorted me to the urgent care. Skateboarding on the way there. They introduced themselves to me, and it turns out they were all close childhood friends and they have always lived in the neighborhood too, I swear I’ve never seen them before.

We arrive at the urgent care just to find it shut down completely. “Fuck shit man wtf” Ayato let out. “We really walked all the way here for that??” Shu commented. “Fuck it, let’s just take care of her at your place then” Subaru told Shu, all the guys agreed. “No no it’s fine don’t worry yourselves” I told them, honestly I was kind of scared to be at an apartment alone with guys, though they seemed really cool, it just felt weird. “Yea not a chance, we’re taking care of you I’m not about to get sued or charged with hurting a cute girl” Ayato stated, all the boys agreed and off we went.

Shu seemed pretty cool, he had his own apartment, his parents had moved and left him the apartment as long as he pays them monthly, he would have parties and girls over all the time apparently but he wouldn’t really be interested in engaging, he’s just the chill guy with the accessible crib to go to , he smoked a lot of weed too, they all seemed to smoke but he smoked the most. After they helped fix me up, we all hung out at Shu’s, we drank and smoked a lot of weed. I had never smoked or drank but I did lie to them, I didn't want them to think I'm a lame loner. I liked how I was feeling, I was socializing so much with all these guys, they were super chill.

"Yo the bitches from the park wanna come up here, is that cool Shu?" Laito had asked, Shu nodded which caused Laito to smirk and dap up Ayato and Kanato. A few moments later, the girls from the park came upstairs and it became a party, the girls seemed nice too. "Hey, how do you know these guys? Ya'll seem close." one of them asked me, "Oh I just met them but they're pretty cool guys." I tell her, her eyebrows rise up a little and she lets out a chuckle. "I think Shu and Ayato are pretty cute, I fucked Laito before though but everyone has, he's community dick, have you tried him yet?" She asked me so calmly, I felt myself becoming flustered. "uhh no, he's not really my type." I try to say coolly, I was literally a virgin. "Oh you're Reiji's type." she said kind of loud, Reiji overheard "Yea he likes them young too." Another girl said, "I like them new, unlike you." Reiji remarked with snark in his voice. The girls got offended but tried to laugh it off.

I got away from those girls and went to one of the rooms in the apartment, Shu was sleeping on the bed, I guess he was tired of socializing, not that I even saw him interact with anyone to be honest. "Hey, is it alright to be here?" I asked him, he opened up one of his eyes and nodded. Subaru entered the room as well.

“Bro why do you always let all these loud ass girls here?” Subaru sounded super annoyed.

“Whatever it’s not that deep, just chill in here, I got a joint calling our name” Shu said, smirking at Subaru and me. He lit it up, and we all began taking hits of the joint. It felt nice, I was super giggly and talkative to the point that Shu kissed me. It was so random, I mean he’s hot though so I think it’s fine, but then Subaru kissed me as well. One thing led to the next and they ran a train on me. Yea this is definitely not an ideal first time, I was high and everything felt nice so I’m not complaining. I doubt I am Reiji's type now, maybe Laito, Ayato and Kanato would still have sex with me..oh man why am I even thinking this way??

After we finish, I clean the fluids off of me in the bathroom. I stare at myself in the mirror, I look so fucked up, I have to go home. I come out and let them know I am leaving, Ayato and Laito offer to walk me home, but I politely decline. "Alright fine, see you tomorrow then right?" Ayato asked, I nodded my head and smiled. I got out of there, this is going to be a fun summer.

Toxic till the End DL AU PT 1

I am not someone who knows much about K-Pop. I've really liked the new Rosé stuff though especially her album rosie? In further pondering I can’t help but want to point out how perfect of a face cast it would make for Yui Komori.

Like the make up style is exactly what I envision from Yui, not too bold but blush heavy shiny, youthful makeup. With the douyin type lip gloss AND her ringlets were absolutely perfect. Like tell me that’s not Yui.

So obviously with the singles roll out, I think the last one was “toxic till the end” and it’s such a nostalgic pop sound I missed and the cinematography is everything in the video so I just wanted to write some Human/Idol AU diabolik lovers headcanons based off it. So in the human au I’d still say Yui is raised in a church, but she’s super cute right so she gets street recruited by a company and she’s not like a major super popstar but since she was a teenager she does little commercials, dance trends, magazine shoots

She grows quite famous online for her innocent, kind of whimsical, head in the clouds imagery alongside her very pious upbringing I suppose like how Adriana Lima used to say before she was a VS angel she wanted to be a nun.

She used to be in her church choir and eventually her company moves her from just modelling/trainee to being put together with some girls in an idol group.

It doesn’t work out, idk maybe the company doesn’t think there’s enough chemistry within the group dynamics or it didn’t rake in enough money. Anyways Sakamaki Corporations ( see what I did) tell Yui they consider sending her to an Idol Show for more popularity because they think she has potential as a soloist

Uhhhh this is the bit where you can tell all my idol knowledge is completely made-up and from vague conversations with my friends.

I believe sometimes idols are sent abroad? Or maybe sent to accommodations to be kept safe and hidden while they train. So she’s sent to “Sakamaki Mansion” because of her father and the CEO of Sakamaki Corps. were old friends or at least that’s what she’s told.

I don’t want to make the boys live with her…but I’m cooking here #trust

She goes to the same school as them. I think that can stay the same, especially because it’s a night school for idols.

So Yui in her last couple of teenage years is driving (in my country you can drive at 17 don’t question it) back from school to her mansion, where she sees this scrawny boy on the side of the road, with a gym bag swung over his shoulder and a broken bike at his side. She slows down because of his hair.

Yes Ayato is one of the most handsome men she’s ever seen in her life but his hair is in a buzz and it's pink!! And she loves the colour pink!

So obviously she says yes and brings him home with her, like this is a little miss romantic and Ayato is her peter pan almost. All her life is routine and lessons and he creeps in all mischief and cheshire cat smirks and she’s smitten.

Ayato is obviously enamoured with her, she’s just so cute and she sincerely seems to care about him. And they make a good pair like the perfect young love.

Ayato with his buzz, scruffy uniform and bad boy reputation who goes everywhere on his skateboard but keeps his hand in the backpocket of his sweet, bubbly church choir/idol trainee gf. They’re a vision to see.

At first he’s quite secretive and he explains to her his family is quite dysfunctional and messed up. Even though they go to the same school he sets up rules like they’re not allowed to ever talk to each other in school and she should absolutely never talk to his brothers and they can’t go on public dates.

At first my little romantic (her rose-tinted glasses paired with actual rose coloured eyes mean all those red flags look like big love hearts) Yui is quite miffed because this is her first ever boyfriend and she really loves him and he’s soooooo charming to her. But it works out quite well because she gets to keep her good student, scandal free rap sheet. And her bf

She knows how fucked up his home life is so sometimes he’ll run away and come live with her and it’s literally a dream for her. It’s so domestic, they have picnic dates in the rose gardens, they swim together in the lake and cuddle up together on warm summer nights whilst gazing at the stars.

Ayato loves holding her hands, kissing her and he always seems to be wanting to touch her in some way or the other. They cook together, or she’s baking something because he keeps getting her to cheat on her diet, convincing her they’ll burn the calories in a different way. And sometimes after school they’ll meet up in the woods to walk home wrapped up in each other and he teaches her all kinds of things, from smoking and drinking to stealing her first kiss. He carries her around like she’s nothing, and he can be so romantic to an annoying teenage boy but she doesn’t care because she’s never been this carefree. He gives her Tiffany rings, and other expensive gifts, dresses her in his clothes, and doesn't want anything from her but her staying beside him. For her first ever exposure to love this is peak romance, his promises of her successful debut and him becoming an athlete where he’s successful enough to openly tell everyone to back off because that’s his girl.

It's a random Thursday where he’s staying over and Yui has fresh flowers and candles lit all over the house. It’s just been a good week, she’s a little tired from practice but Ayato has been an absolute darling. Massaging her legs (it turns into him groping her whilst she giggles trying to get away), he brought some fast food, made an absolute fool of himself falling into the pond and finding out she can’t swim.

So they spent an afternoon where she basically clung onto his shoulders and him wrapping his hands around her waist, whispering into her ears and then he’s teasing her for how red she is. It’s been bliss. They are sat by the fire, he’s in loose sweats and he realises she’s wearing one of his boxers and tanks but it starts raining outside and she flinches at thunder.

I think this is a pivotal moment in their relationships in the warm amber glow, where Yui opens up about being an orphan and hating the thunder because the day her parents left her there was a storm.

Ayato in turn pulls her close, and he’s so close she can feel his breath on her cheeks his hands are around her ears as he’s slowly caressing her cheek telling her she’s fine and he’s here for him. This is her “oh. Oh.” moment because she’s so in love with this boy and she knows it’s him or nothing.

And she can see it in his eyes when he starts opening up about his bruises and how sometimes he lies about them being from skateboarding accidents. When they tell this story much much later everyone assumes Ayato kisses her. What they don’t know is all Yui knew in that moment is that she never wanted to see her beautiful boyfriend so sad again so she leans in to initiate their first kiss.

That's history…or the beginning of the end.

Once upon a time I asked people on Instagram to vote on who they thought would be a good match for my Chiyo besides Shuu. Reiji was the one with most votes followed by Ruki, Kino and Subaru.

So here I am posting this:

Personally, I would probably not pair them together. Maybe for a very angsty Enemies to Lovers scenario but those two have a pretty big dislike for each other in general. Most of it stems from Chiyo disliking how Reiji treats Shuu, though, so maybe in a universe where she isn't friends with Shuu it might work?

Or Reiji concocts a plan to take away everything that is dear to Shuu, as one does, which includes this poor girl but then falls for her in the process... I don't know...

In any case, I will also get to drawing the remaining three pairings. I have the sketches ready but I am a bit self-conscious about the Kino one since I don't really have a good grasp on him yet. Something about guava juice and video games.

aka i just finished the wano arc in one piece and it was so beautiful i want it everywhere

in order to have a chance, the large and prideful komori clan sells their only daughter to the barbaric sakamaki clan to form an alliance during a brutal war. their daughter, yui, is by all standards a woman - perfect posture, a pretty face, good manners, knows a couple of songs to play on a shamisen by heart, educated on singing and dancing - she went willingly, since maybe this alliance would take off the look of stress and pain from her adoring fathers face.

but within a month - she knew there was something strange with this family. the servants seemed like they contained no life when they spoke, the six sons were never seen like ghosts, always in their own territories — but any time she had the misfortune to run into them it was always ended with her leaving with watery eyes and a smirk on whoever she had somehow displeased that day.

when it was announced by karlheinz, the current shogun, that marriage with her would allow that son to take his spot, she felt the way the atmosphere around her changed. more so, she felt the way all twelve of their eyes pierced into her, and if you asked her, it was as if they glowed red.

as she felt chills run down her spine, she began to wonder : maybe it wasn’t thoughts of the war that had my fathers face looking grim.

• Once he's attached to you, Richter is needy. And even more so if the relationship places him in a fully submissive role. It's easy for him to spiral into that kind of mindset— the only problem is that it makes him even more desperate. Being able to show how desperately he wants your love without any expectation of taking the lead is more comfortable for Richter than he ever would have expected, and it just enforces how much he adores you.

• He very much likes feeling "owned". Not having to compete for scraps of your attention is an incredible relief on its own, but Richter greatly enjoys it when you go out of your way to show your possession. He probably should be more concerned with his apparent lack of dignity, but when willing submission ends in finally feeling loved, it's difficult to care much about pride.

• It's a strange dynamic with Karlheinz. Outwardly, he appears as intimidating and composed as ever, even when far less regal things are happening whenever you're alone. He doesn't show his submission in openly obvious ways... but you'll quickly learn the signs that he's wanting to be "put in his place". For Karlheinz, the act of submitting to you is almost a game. He wants you to take control on your own, and force him to feel in the process.

• There's a long period of time where he's almost in denial. Karlheinz tries to act like your relationship is nothing more than him finding a bit of entertainment in someone who could never truly best him, even when he's clearly surrendering himself to you with full willingness. Of course, that just means that you get the fun of making him understand just how much he wants it all.

Yui

• You don't have to do much to get her into that sort of role. Yui is fairly submissive, to begin with— just very flustered about that part of your relationship. After everything she's been through with the vampires, though, it's easier to accept anything, so long as she's being treated kindly. Especially once she sees how happy it makes you, Yui is a sweet, willing submissive, and she slowly manages to relax into the faith that you won't be cruel with that.

• She definitely does best with more of a "soft dom". While Yui does have her masochistic side, she's had more than enough of being roughed up without any tenderness to make up for it. It's a lot easier for her to enjoy sweet words and soft touches along with the moments of pleasure-pain, and the kindness definitely helps her accept that there's nothing she needs to be ashamed of.

Bio: Rei is the eldest daughter of the Mukami family and is considered to be the "brains" of the group. Back when she was a human, Rei was born into an aristocratic family. When she was a young girl, she was rather spoiled and arrogant until there was a financial crisis and her family went bankrupt. When looking for her parents, Rei found her mother had hanged herself while her father ran away with a secret lover, leaving a note for Rei that stated that he loved her very much, but this whole ordeal left Rei with trust issues since her father never came back for her. She ended up in an orphanage, which is where she was bullied by the other children and mistreated by the staff because of her former status as an aristocrat. However, her days would get a little brighter when she met her sisters Kaiya, Yona, and Arina. She then created a plan to escape the orphanage with her sisters, but they were all shot by the staff, which resulted in Rei getting branded as "livestock" on the back as punishment. As she lay dying, Rei met the Sakamakis' mother Katharina, who offered her and her sisters the opportunity to get revenge on those who abused them and to live life as immortal vampires. After being turned, Rei and her siblings returned to the orphanage and got their revenge on the staff and the aristocrats, making it as slow as possible. As the leader, Rei knows how to manipulate those to get what she and her sisters want and how to keep things under control.

Kaiya 🩷 (Kou Mukami)

Bio: Kaiya is the second daughter of the Mukami family. Back when she was still a human, Kaiya was supposedly abandoned by her birth parents in a manhole, and had no memory of them. While in the manhole, Kaiya would look up and stare at the sky, and desired to get out so she could see more of it. When she escaped, Kaiya had ended up at the orphanage where she unfortunately ended up becoming a "playtoy" for the aristocrats because of her beauty. She was abused daily, and she forced herself to accept this role since she was able to get nice things. This resulted in her losing her right eye, and because she wasn't given enough time to rest and heal, Kaiya developed scars all over her body. This made her believe that the world was all about "give-and-take". After meeting her sisters, Kaiya and the others developed a plan to escape the orphanage and sell the nice items that Kaiya had saved to get money. However, all four of them were shot by the orphanage staff and left for dead. But when the Sakamakis mother Katharina found them, she offered them another chance at life, but as vampires. Kaiya accepted, and with her new found power, hunted down the people who abused her, starting with the staff and leaving the aristocrats for last, and killed them off one by one so they'd all live in fear knowing they would be next. Kaiya's lost eye was replaced with a magical prosthetic that was made by Katharina, which allowed her to see into people's hearts and learn of their true desires. Because of her childhood trauma, Kaiya had developed a two faced personality that only surfaces when things don't particularly go her way.

Yona, then Eloise, had managed to survive, but had lost her memories due to a head injury. She was found by a street gang and joined their ranks, going by a new name: Bear. In order to survive on the streets, she had to abandon her timidness and innocence, as she was forced to become more rough, dominant, violent, aggressive, and rebellious over time. The rest of her gang was killed during a failed coup, leaving her the only survivor. She was found and ended up at the orphanage where she met her sisters Rei, Kaiya, and Arina, and attempted to escape the orphanage, but was gunned down by the staff. She met Katharina Sakamaki and accepted her offer to become a vampire: which led to the Vampire Queen to rename her "Yona". Like her sisters, Yona had gotten revenge on the orphanage staff for the abuse and mistreatment they received. However, they were not good to Arina, as they'd beat her up for any ridiculous reason. Unfortunately, the more she was beaten up, the more Arina began to enjoy it and even started seeing it as a way to feel alive. This ended when one day, while waiting for Justin, Melissa, and Christina to return, she heard from two gossiping noblemen that the three children were shot and killed for attempting to steal from a friend of theirs. Afterwards, Arina would begin to harm herself after their deaths and named three prominent scars to immortalize them. She'd later end up at the orphanage where she'd become the other kids punching bag until she met Rei, Kaiya, and Yona. When Rei came up with a plan for all four of them to escape the orphanage, Arina wasn't sure of it at first, but after some reassurance from Kaiya and Yona, she agreed.
