Toxic till the End DL AU PT 1

I am not someone who knows much about K-Pop. I've really liked the new Rosé stuff though especially her album rosie? In further pondering I can’t help but want to point out how perfect of a face cast it would make for Yui Komori.

Like the make up style is exactly what I envision from Yui, not too bold but blush heavy shiny, youthful makeup. With the douyin type lip gloss AND her ringlets were absolutely perfect. Like tell me that’s not Yui.

So obviously with the singles roll out, I think the last one was “toxic till the end” and it’s such a nostalgic pop sound I missed and the cinematography is everything in the video so I just wanted to write some Human/Idol AU diabolik lovers headcanons based off it. It has been a while since i’ve written anything so bare with me pls. Love u xoxo

So in the human au I’d still say Yui is raised in a church, but she’s super cute right so she gets street recruited by a company and she’s not like a major super popstar but since she was a teenager she does little commercials, dance trends, magazine shoots

She grows quite famous online for her innocent, kind of whimsical, head in the clouds imagery alongside her very pious upbringing I suppose like how Adriana Lima used to say before she was a VS angel she wanted to be a nun.

She used to be in her church choir and eventually her company moves her from just modelling/trainee to being put together with some girls in an idol group.

It doesn’t work out, idk maybe the company doesn’t think there’s enough chemistry within the group dynamics or it didn’t rake in enough money. Anyways Sakamaki Corporations ( see what I did) tell Yui they consider sending her to an Idol Show for more popularity because they think she has potential as a soloist

Uhhhh this is the bit where you can tell all my idol knowledge is completely made-up and from vague conversations with my friends.

I believe sometimes idols are sent abroad? Or maybe sent to accommodations to be kept safe and hidden while they train. So she’s sent to “Sakamaki Mansion” because of her father and the CEO of Sakamaki Corps. were old friends or at least that’s what she’s told.

I don’t want to make the boys live with her…but I’m cooking here #trust

She goes to the same school as them. I think that can stay the same, especially because it’s a night school for idols.

Anyways this is where I think we can insert the toxic till the end music video.

I'm also aging them up so Yui meets Ayato on the precipice of 18 because they plan for her to debut at 18/19.

So Yui in her last couple of teenage years is driving (in my country you can drive at 17 don’t question it) back from school to her mansion, where she sees this scrawny boy on the side of the road, with a gym bag swung over his shoulder and a broken bike at his side. She slows down because of his hair.

Yes Ayato is one of the most handsome men she’s ever seen in her life but his hair is in a buzz and it's pink!! And she loves the colour pink!

So obviously she says yes and brings him home with her, like this is a little miss romantic and Ayato is her peter pan almost. All her life is routine and lessons and he creeps in all mischief and cheshire cat smirks and she’s smitten.

Ayato is obviously enamoured with her, she’s just so cute and she sincerely seems to care about him. And they make a good pair like the perfect young love.

Ayato with his buzz, scruffy uniform and bad boy reputation who goes everywhere on his skateboard but keeps his hand in the backpocket of his sweet, bubbly church choir/idol trainee gf. They’re a vision to see.

At first he’s quite secretive and he explains to her his family is quite dysfunctional and messed up. Even though they go to the same school he sets up rules like they’re not allowed to ever talk to each other in school and she should absolutely never talk to his brothers and they can’t go on public dates.

At first my little romantic (her rose-tinted glasses paired with actual rose coloured eyes mean all those red flags look like big love hearts) Yui is quite miffed because this is her first ever boyfriend and she really loves him and he’s soooooo charming to her. But it works out quite well because she gets to keep her good student, scandal free rap sheet. And her bf

She knows how fucked up his home life is so sometimes he’ll run away and come live with her and it’s literally a dream for her. It’s so domestic, they have picnic dates in the rose gardens, they swim together in the lake and cuddle up together on warm summer nights whilst gazing at the stars.

Ayato loves holding her hands, kissing her and he always seems to be wanting to touch her in some way or the other. They cook together, or she’s baking something because he keeps getting her to cheat on her diet, convincing her they’ll burn the calories in a different way. And sometimes after school they’ll meet up in the woods to walk home wrapped up in each other and he teaches her all kinds of things, from smoking and drinking to stealing her first kiss. He carries her around like she’s nothing, and he can be so romantic to an annoying teenage boy but she doesn’t care because she’s never been this carefree. He gives her Tiffany rings, and other expensive gifts, dresses her in his clothes, and doesn't want anything from her but her staying beside him. For her first ever exposure to love this is peak romance, his promises of her successful debut and him becoming an athlete where he’s successful enough to openly tell everyone to back off because that’s his girl.

It's a random Thursday where he’s staying over and Yui has fresh flowers and candles lit all over the house. It’s just been a good week, she’s a little tired from practice but Ayato has been an absolute darling. Massaging her legs (it turns into him groping her whilst she giggles trying to get away), he brought some fast food, made an absolute fool of himself falling into the pond and finding out she can’t swim.

So they spent an afternoon where she basically clung onto his shoulders and him wrapping his hands around her waist, whispering into her ears and then he’s teasing her for how red she is. It’s been bliss. They are sat by the fire, he’s in loose sweats and he realises she’s wearing one of his boxers and tanks but it starts raining outside and she flinches at thunder.

I think this is a pivotal moment in their relationships in the warm amber glow, where Yui opens up about being an orphan and hating the thunder because the day her parents left her there was a storm.

Ayato in turn pulls her close, and he’s so close she can feel his breath on her cheeks his hands are around her ears as he’s slowly caressing her cheek telling her she’s fine and he’s here for him. This is her “oh. Oh.” moment because she’s so in love with this boy and she knows it’s him or nothing.

And she can see it in his eyes when he starts opening up about his bruises and how sometimes he lies about them being from skateboarding accidents. When they tell this story much much later everyone assumes Ayato kisses her. What they don’t know is all Yui knew in that moment is that she never wanted to see her beautiful boyfriend so sad again so she leans in to initiate their first kiss.

That's history…or the beginning of the end.

CHAPTER 5 OF MY AU WHERE YUI KOMORI GETS ISIKEID INTO TWST.

Note: Ace kinda sucks ngl. And this is another one of them short chapters since I'm lazy and sleep deprived. So I'm sorry for the short chapters and the fact I'm bad at titles.

“They are pretty cool huh?” Ace said, his voice slightly trailing off. “Unlike some little weasel” Ace said, mocking Grim. “EXCUSE ME?” Grim yelled clearly, having been offended by what Ace had just said. “AHAHAHA! I CAN'T EVEN HOLD BACK ANYMORE! AHAHAHAHH!” Ace cackled. Maybe he lost his mind? What is he even laughing about when nothing funny happened? “Oh come on you guys are the ones who turned orientation into a fiasco right?!” Ace said. Oh I guess that's what he was talking about. Yui and Grim did not cause that much trouble! At Least that's what she thought. Ace pointed at Yui as he started to speak again. “You're the magicless human who was summoned by the dark mirror.”  He then moved his finger to point at Grim. “And your the ‘monster’ that no one summoned at all!” He said teasingly. “It actually took everything in me to not burst out laughing in the middle of the ceremony!”

“Y-you don't have to be such a jerk about it you know!” Yui said. She didn't mean to stutter but it happened. What a jerk this Ace guy is being. And the whole thing with her being here is NOT even her fault! Blame it on that stupid dark mirror, not her! “So so so sadd! In the end neither of you got accepted into the school. Instead you both ended up as janitors! Ahahhahah! SO SO LAME!!’ Ace mocked them laughing his butt off. “What did you just call me?!” Grim yelled. This Ace guy certainly knew how to push someone's buttons. “And you two are both so clueless you dont even know who the great seven are! Before you try to get into the academy again. Maybe you should try kindergarten again?!” Ace continued with his insults. He clearly enjoyed seeing Grim get so fired up at his comments.

“Grrr…” Grim growled. Oh dear this seems like it won't end well. Maybe she should step in before things end up getting ugly? “Grim, maybe you should calm down, we shouldn't waste our time on him!” Yui said, trying to calm Grim down a bit. She didn't want anything bad to happen again. “Anyway I thought I should tease ya a bit. And oh boy I'm so glad I did! It's been a blast! But unlike you I actually have classes to get to. So I'll let you both get back to picking up trash. Bye!”  Ace said before turning on his heel and about to walk away. “Grr… You ain't walking away from me it's too late for that!” Grim yelled. Before Yui could try and step in. Grim released this blue fire thing causing her to instead step back.

“NO ONE MAKES FUN OF GRIM, MASTER OF FIRE! IM GONNA MAKE THAT EXPLODEY  HEAD OF YOURS EXPLODE AGAIN!” Grim yelled out. “Explodey head?” Ace repeated. “You wanna throw down with ME shorty? You sure got some guts.” Ace said. “Ya wanna talk hair huh? I'm going to shave you down like a toy poodle!”  Ace continued.

“MYAHH!” Grim yelled before releasing more of the blue fire from earlier. But Ace responded by using his wind magic to blow the fire balls off course. “Hey, his wind magic is blowing my fire balls away. No fair!!” Grim cried out. Some students began to come over after hearing the commotion. “What's going on over here? Is it a fight?” One student said. “Oh sweet! Get’em!” Another one said. “Wind magic is a thing too huh?” Yui thought to herself. Hey if she can't stop the fight she might as well watch! “Aww what, you can't hit me with your lil fireballs?” Ace teased him. “Shut up! You better believe I'm about too!” Grim yelled at him.

Once upon a time I asked people on Instagram to vote on who they thought would be a good match for my Chiyo besides Shuu. Reiji was the one with most votes followed by Ruki, Kino and Subaru.

So here I am posting this:

Personally, I would probably not pair them together. Maybe for a very angsty Enemies to Lovers scenario but those two have a pretty big dislike for each other in general. Most of it stems from Chiyo disliking how Reiji treats Shuu, though, so maybe in a universe where she isn't friends with Shuu it might work?

Or Reiji concocts a plan to take away everything that is dear to Shuu, as one does, which includes this poor girl but then falls for her in the process... I don't know...

In any case, I will also get to drawing the remaining three pairings. I have the sketches ready but I am a bit self-conscious about the Kino one since I don't really have a good grasp on him yet. Something about guava juice and video games.

diabolik lovers au but make it a traditional japanese for my heart

aka i just finished the wano arc in one piece and it was so beautiful i want it everywhere

in order to have a chance, the large and prideful komori clan sells their only daughter to the barbaric sakamaki clan to form an alliance during a brutal war. their daughter, yui, is by all standards a woman - perfect posture, a pretty face, good manners, knows a couple of songs to play on a shamisen by heart, educated on singing and dancing - she went willingly, since maybe this alliance would take off the look of stress and pain from her adoring fathers face.

but within a month - she knew there was something strange with this family. the servants seemed like they contained no life when they spoke, the six sons were never seen like ghosts, always in their own territories — but any time she had the misfortune to run into them it was always ended with her leaving with watery eyes and a smirk on whoever she had somehow displeased that day.

when it was announced by karlheinz, the current shogun, that marriage with her would allow that son to take his spot, she felt the way the atmosphere around her changed. more so, she felt the way all twelve of their eyes pierced into her, and if you asked her, it was as if they glowed red.

as she felt chills run down her spine, she began to wonder : maybe it wasn’t thoughts of the war that had my fathers face looking grim.

I was working on an OC who reminded me of a manga called Sachiiro no One Room and omg hands down, ABSOLUTE CINEMA. Lil warning that it covers a lot of heavy and dark topics but I RECOMMEND READING IT BC ITS SO GOOD TRUST ME. I binged it all in one night and I basically got emotional damage from it so I spent a few days trying to recover from it (it doesn’t helped that I binge it on a rainy day but whatever it sets the mood)

"Is there something you two need from me?" Angelica asked, moving away from Subaru's bedroom door. "We need to talk, Angelica," Karlheinz said, his face looking rather serious. ". . . .Alright." Angelica then made her friend and their shared husband follow her.

Christa looked at her friend with a confused expression. "Angie, where are you going?"

"If we're going to talk, I think it's best to do it elsewhere." Angelica told her. If Karlheinz and Christa were to initiate some kind of conversation with her, then she wished for it to happen far away from his bedroom door.

She didn't want to risk the chance of Subaru waking up and overhearing them if it escalated.

"Very well," Karlheinz said. "Lead the way."

Angelica had led Karlheinz and Christa away from Subaru's bedroom door and straight to the mansion's library. As soon as the doors closed, Karlheinz said, "There's no need for any of us to sit as I intend to make this quick: Angelica, you are to return to the ballroom at once."

". . . .for what, exactly?" Angelica waited for Karlheinz to continue the conversation.

"For what else? You were supposed to perform a song for our guests just a few minutes ago when that incident with Subaru began." "Incident. . . .?" Angelica said, repeating the word her husband used to describe what happened with the youngest son.

"That's an interesting way to put it."

"Angelica, what exactly is that supposed to mean?" Karlheinz asked, even though there was a good chance that he already had an idea. "Now pet, I don't want to start a fight with you, so please just listen to me for right now and-"

"Are you being serious?" Angelica said, almost sounding like she was getting ticked off. "Is this party more important to you than Subaru? Your own son?"

". . . ." Karlheinz remained silent, allowing Christa to try and step in. "K-Karlheinz didn't say that Angie!" she exclaimed. "He was just-"

The sound of the door opening stopped Christa from continuing to speak, as a very sleepy Subaru walked in and asked, "What's going on? Ma-" the white haired boy then noticed his father's presence, which made him go quiet instantly.

"What's wrong Subaru?" Angelica asked, walking towards the six year old. Subaru mumbled a quiet 'nothing' as he looked down at the carpeted floor. Angelica, however, wasn't buying it. "Is it possible that you had trouble going to sleep, love?"

Subaru slowly nodded his head, all the while he tried to hide his blushing face. He was embarrassed to be admitting this in front of his father. "Well, how about we go back and I can read you a-"

"Angelica, dear, I think that Subaru can go back to bed by himself." Karlheinz interrupted. "Besides, I think it's about time you stop babying him anyway."

". . . ." Angelica whispered something in Subaru's ear, causing him to nod his head quite ferociously. The red eyed vampire exited the library, and as soon as he was gone, Christa walked over to Angelica and asked, "What did you say to him, Angie?" "I just told him to go back to bed and that I'd be there shortly." Angelica answered.

"What." Karlheinz said. "Angelica, you can't be expected to humor the boy every time he overreacts about-"

"Oh, is that what you call it? An 'overreaction'?" Angelica said in a questioning manner that was framed in a way that made it seem as if she was challenging him, which surprised both Christa and Karlheinz. Angelica was never really one that was known to be confrontational.

"Subaru was probably having a breakdown and you think that the poor boy was 'overreacting'? How can you be so cold to him?" Angelica added. "And you Christa, how are you ok with any of-"

"Angelica! I believe that that's quite enough." Karlheinz said, his voice firm. "There's no need to get poor Christa involved in this. I'm rather disappointed in you." ". . . ." Angelica said nothing as she excused herself and left the library, presumably heading to Subaru's bedroom and not back to the party.

Karlheinz released a sigh as he looked back at Christa and noticed her saddened look. "She's furious with me, isn't she?" Christa said. "Don't worry my dear," Karlheinz said, his handsome face giving her a perfected smile. "Our sweet Angie is just. . . .a little overprotective over the boy. We just need to give her space for now. It'll be better by tomorrow. Alright?"

Christa's Tower. . . .

Christa, tired from the events of the night, had changed out of her black and white velvet dress and into something more comfortable. She had put on a loose silk white dress and undid her hair, letting the pinkish-white tresses to fall down her back.

Christa had gone to her bed and got underneath the comforter, curling up on her mattress as she thought back to her son Subaru's relationship with Angelica and what brought the three of them to this situation.

Of how he was essentially ripped away from her during one of her episodes and given to Angelica to care for.

Of how she watched from her barred window and witnessed Subaru's first steps in the garden with Angelica and Akira.

Of how when he was younger, Subaru would call her 'miss' or 'auntie' instead of 'mother'. The only one he called 'mama' or 'mother' was her best friend.

Even when he learned the truth this year and after spending time with her, Subaru clearly still preferred Angelica. She was the one he'd go to whenever he had nightmares and wished to be comforted. But Christa didn't blame him for that.

How could she?

After all, Angelica was a better mother than her anyway.

There was no hidden malice or mockery in his words. For once maybe. Just maybe...She wont have to worry anymore? Leona’s hand squeezed her hand firmly. “You’re stronger than you think. And if you need someone to help you carry that weight, you’ve got me. Just... don’t try to do it alone.” Yui’s breath caught in her throat, tears welling up in her eyes as she nodded slowly. “I... I don’t know what to say.” “You don’t have to say anything,” Leona replied with a slight smirk, though his voice was much softer now. “Just remember I wont let anyone else hurt you like they did."
