here is a gif tutorial based on this gif from my sakura & kuromi mdbd. i hope this helps you & makes alot of sense anon 😅🫡🫡 <3

step 1 — go to the app picsart & import the picture you want to use for the gif!

step 2 — click on the text box & type what you want your first word to be *picture example below*

step 3 — go through the font, color (i used ombre), stroke (black), shadow (also black), & bend options. edit them to your liking, mess around with the options. *pictures example below*

step 4 — after you mess around with the options listed above, move the text to your liking & save the image (icon circled). repeat this process for the remaining words you want to include in your gif. *picture example below*

step 5 — once you get to your last phrase, scroll to the icon called brushes. *picture example below*

step 6 — make sure the 4th option is selected (circle with 1), when adding the stickers. even though i used a different sticker in my tutorial, i also circled the sticker i used in the sakura mdbd (circle with 2). change the size & opacity to your liking! then click the check mark on the top right corner (circle with 3). *picture example below*

step 7 — now that the images are completed, you can now make the gif! my phone allows for me to make gifs (in my gallery) but if you cant, im pretty sure there is a gif making website!

step 8 — the final product! sorry the gif is wonky, i forgot to save the image with just the first text only 😒☹️☹️

advice to new moodboard bloggers?

i'll try not to yap too much anon 🙏🏽

try a to make mdbds with diff aesthetics + styles!!! i say this so then your blog can attract diff types of creators yk? plus its very fun to try new styles.

try to post periodically—i dont really have a schedule when it comes to posting but, spacing out your posts should be good:)

join events—theyre honestly SO fun and they allow to be so creative & meet new ppl

use locs/dividers in your mdbds—i feel like they make your work complete 👻 make sure to also give the makers credit!!!

follow accounts to get inspiration & reach out to them—i would recommend following @r-ratitos @yeritos @s-heon @baesol @iluvrei (they all inspired me to make mdbds in the 1st place)☝🏽🤓

LASTLY try to make moots on here! the mdbd community is so sweet >_<

1st- download the app capcut and once youre in, select your images (i did 3)

2nd- once the pictures are imported, select each picture and shorten their segments (i did 5 seconds for each image)

3rd- then select each segment and find the copy button (youll have to scroll along the bottom bar-to the left) ☆also do this 3-4 times for each picture☆

4th- once edited to your liking, save the video and go to tumblr

5th- create post and import the video

6th- once imported, click the 🎨 icon on the bottom right corner of the clip

7th- then click the icon labeled "GIF+" and adjust the clip to your liking (i didnt change anything)

8th- once done, click the blue check mark on the top right on your screen AND YOURE DONE!!!
