Playing story-based games really is the funniest thing to me as a roleplayer, because it really reveals which of my ocs would actually comply with canon to stand there listening to plot/monologues from enemies and which would actually use that time to fucking beat the shit out of them, lmao.

Kate, Liana and Einar would not be having it at all ahsdgshgd. They would only comply with canon for actual, strong threats because being impulsive and reckless will make it worse. But small-fry? Nah, get tf out of here with that bs, lmao.

People do try to physically restrain them, though, at times. Mainly because there might be information to be had, but wow they won’t be happy in the slightest. They have murder in their eyes and will use that to intimidate as much as possible. Kate is the easiest to stop because she’s small and doesn’t have the physical strength to stop most people. Liana is the hardest. That absolute 7′3″ queen is built, you need maybe 3-4 grown men and even then she might still have strength enough to take slow, weighted steps.

what's your role in a found family dynamic?  

the silent sufferer

you love your friends, but the truth is, you go through most of the real things alone. it's better that no one sees you like this. you'll be fine, really, because you're used to feeling this way. it'll pass. it always does. that's what you believe, anyway. you're more likely to give someone advice on a lesson you've learned without telling them how you learned it. you've come to realize that, if they're coming to you for advice, they'll be too preoccupied to ask. it stings, but it's... that's just the way feelings work sometimes.

when you're around others, most of these problems seem to vanish, and you're better able to love the person you are. only on the worst days do you continue to hear that insistent whisper that it's, "all a lie because they don't know what's *really* going on." it's not a lie. you are loved. those moments together are real. there are times when you can afford not to be so strong.

Just some basics about  him.

Veena clan viera who left home around 12-13 years of age, feeling alone and empty with his people. Six months of mindless wandering, he meets Alexia, an orphaned, female midlander hyur just a year younger than him and after some shenanigans, decides to stick with her. Another six months and a Hrothgar in his mid twenties finds and adopts them as his children.

Dragan teaches Einar and Alexia what he knows in terms of combat for some self-defense. Einar takes to Gunbreaker, Reaper and White Mage like a fish to water and later learns Dancer and Red Mage after coming to Eorzea. Einar is an all-rounder who is usually Gunbreaker or Reaper by default.

Generally very calm and composed and not one to speak immediately. He likes to observe and decide based on what he’s able to garner. Doesn’t mean he’s a silent type, he’s just careful. Unless you annoy or piss him off, then he’s got plenty to say.

Very protective of his family, especially his sister Alexia. Rather fond of children in general and always willing to indulge them. This is why the Warrior of Light adopts so many of them emotionally. He’ll kill for Alphinaud and Alisaie; all they have to do is ask.

Loves traveling and exploring. He feels alive and in his element when doing so. He loves the freedom, sleeping under the stars and just letting go.

Fighting is only a means of self-defense to him and protect others. He finds no joy or desire in rivalry or fighting for the sake of fighting and pushing past his limits. Zenos’ self-projection and misunderstanding of him wore Einar empty by EW and that end fight was merely to finally get rid of a threat that had long overstayed its welcome.

He knows how to cook pretty well and is always willing to learn new recipes. He also hunted wild game and cooked it for refugees in Ul’dah through the story when he could find time. He attempts to do the same for the Garlean survivors when he visits the twins post EW.

Birds and bird-like creatures are his favorite, so when he met Meteion in Elpis, he grew easily attached. The minion of her is his companion now and his main mounts are the company Chocobo and the White Griffin from the Ananta beast tribe.
