                     HOW THIS BLOG SHALL BE RUN GOING FORWARD                     some post hiatus guidelines     !

first of all      :       i would like to thank everyone who has interacted with me since i returned to the rpc last september.      writing gilderoy has always been a delight,     and even after 3 years i am still amazed by the wonderful things people can come up with to indulge me and my precious child.      i will not be abandoning gilderoy       ;        i have tried doing this before,      and i always come back to him regardless,      so i am saving myself the hassle.    

THINGS THAT ARE CHANGING FROM 01/01/2021 ONWARD IN REGARDS TO THIS BLOG 

i will become more selective with who i write.      before my hiatus i felt like i kept writing the same thing over and over again                    i am desperately craving new,     fresh,     interactions.       i know that this is something difficult,      especially when it comes to student characters,      but after three years i am putting my foot down.  

the queue is going to be used more frequently for replies.      i now have more rp blogs to focus on,      and i have decided to stop treating rp like a job   ...     it is a hobby and i am    tired .  

shipping is becoming more reserved.     gilderoy loves love,       and i love all the ships i have on him already,      but i really do want to focus on relationships outside of those with sexual undertones.  

respect the NB drip or get yeeted.      i can’t make it any clearer than that i already have that gilderoy is non-binary.    i grow tired of people not  ....    respecting this.       

i might add more to these as i see fit          ;           i am going to do my best to return to a safe space       -         rather than a blog which is causing me headaches.      i love you guys,       i love gilderoy,       and i will be back full force soon enough  !

you'd purposefully give people replies with shit grammar just "because you can"? jesus. unintentionally is one thing but purposefully is just rude. you can shout insults to people on the street too, but that doesn't mean you should. proofread your fuckin' replies. out of decency, and not setting out to purposefully confuse people with your writing. -_-

like, don't get me wrong, self-care is fine but not if it affects other people's experiences. this is a multi-person hobby.

okay friend i am               going to reply to this and publish this ask because i’m going to start the conversation on this,   rather than sweeping it underneath the rug and turning anon off.    so,   here is the deal,    the truth,    the fact to which it all boils down.    THAT POST WAS A JOKE.     it was a crack at my own skills when it comes to writing,  it was me being    aware     that i make grammar mistakes and that my english sometimes comes across as butchered.   and you know why this is?   because i am fluent in three languages,   five when you count flemish and limburgian    (   polls are still out if those count as official languages but u know    )     and english is the third language i ever learned and for the record i learned it myself with determination and tumblr rp.     

i do not purposely make grammar mistakes,    i do not purposely mix up words and spelling    (     anyone who has ever talked to me or written with me knows that i cannot for the life of me remember if it is union or onion    and that is fine    )      i have from day one been very open with the fact that english isn’t my first language,   i have from day one been very open with the fact that i make mistakes and that people are more than welcome to correct me.    but you know what else i hope i have been very open with from day one ?   respectful and open communication.    and truth be told,   i feel like you’re attacking me right now based on an    assumption     that you made with a crack ooc post that i made.    a post which was in its core intended to poke fun at myself and my own limitations.   

to assume that everyone here is a native english speaker is   wrong.     and the notion that all writers in this community do not struggle with issues such as dyslexia is equally   wrong.    i can only speak for myself that i do,  indeed,   proofread every reply before i hit publish,    but u know what.   people make mistakes and like you said                  this is a hobby,     and i personally think it wasn’t very cash money of you fam to attack me over a joke post i made.

Do you have any obsessions right now?: does gilderoy lock/hart count as my forever obsession  ?   i think i have been    really    into f1 racing lately.    to the point where even my boyfriend who is a f1 fanatic has to admit that i am ...   more of a stan than he is at this point.    perhaps my obsession for years has been to be happy   ?   

Do you tend to hold grudges against people who have done you wrong?:   i’d say both yes and no.   i give people    a lot     of chances,    but the moment they pass that final line it is done.     only a few people have crossed that line though ....    and those who have absolutely deserve it.     

In a relationship?:   yes,    dating a non artistic white man who is a car guy  ....    i could have done better in that department     (     no,   all jokes aside he is lovely and i adore him    )
