synopsis - as the girlfriend of a basketball player who everybody else is scared of in highschool, you can say its fun seeing him change so quickly at the sight of you.

dating the cold-looking, “scary”, rich basketball player in highscool from your sophomore year to now senior year, where you’re about to graduate, was definitely not on your bucketlist you made back in middle school.

but look at yourself now, making small promises with your boyfriend of 3 years now that make the butterflies in your stomach rise and flutter everywhere.

“if i make more than 2 baskets, at the end of the game you have to let me give as many kisses as i want, deal?” niki said, sticking out his pinky while stars twinkled in his eyes.

“deal.”

and of course, that’s what happened. anticipation ran through your blood while watching your boyfriend speed through the court while dribbling the ball in his hand, your fingers gripping the bleachers you were sitting on until your knuckles went white as he shot his forth basket, right as the ball hit the net, the buzzer went off throughout everybody’s eardrums.

he made it.

niki’s basket made the team win, standing up in joy along with everyone else who was watching the game. running down the bleachers, jumping into the arms of a niki who was already waiting for your affection.

“you did it!” you exclaimed in excitement while kissing both his cheeks multiple times, he closed his eyes with a proud smile on his face that said loudly ‘everyone, this is my girl.’ he stopped your kisses with a tap on your waist, his hands already there.

“this is supposed to be my job, silly” he choked out with chuckles while you continued to kiss his face with pride.

“does this mean i won your love?” he asked, eyes now wide open and staring down at you with affection full in his eyes.

“you always have my love, ki.”

synopsis - waking up in the morning with boyfriend jay . . 🤍

warm rays of sun shining through your eyes, fluttering them open and feeling the warm presence of your boyfriend next to you. trying to turn slowly and quietly was a challenge, the duvet ruffling ever so slightly when you face your boyfriend, still deep in slumber.

he’s so pretty to look at, the light strands of hair covering his eyes but you can still see through them, the small sounds of his breathing and light snoring while his arms are still loosely around your body, his chest raising up and down, everything made you realize that this boy was really yours.

until 10 minutes later, you didn’t realize you were staring at your loving boyfriend so fondly until he woke up. finding him amusing as he woke up, you felt your lips curve into a smile, your hand raising to his face to caress it so gently. “sleep well?” was all you could asked him.

eyes still closed, he nodded with a lazy smile growing onto his face as well. he moved closer, burying his face in the crook of your neck, chasing after your warmth. all you wanted to do was smile and give him the warmth he looked forward to in the chilly mornings.

mornings like this let you take in the fact that this boy was really yours, and you two were in such deep love.

synopsis - you listen in when your boyfriend offers to put your daughter to sleep

genre / warning(s) - fluff, ! sunoo is not the dad !, daughter name is jieun and she’s 4 ><, ex-idol!sunoo x fem!reader, sunoo and reader have been dating for 2 and a half years

you sat on the couch with your boyfriend after finally putting your daughter to sleep, taking what felt like hours with how much energy she had at 11:34 pm. he just smiled at you proudly as he wrapped his arm around your shoulders, rubbing your skin softly.

until your love was disturbed by tiny footsteps and a toddlers voice, you sighed knowing what would happen. small sniffles came from behind the couch, turning your head to make contact with your daughter who was standing there in her pajamas, stuffed bunny in one small hand while the other rubbed the tears in her eyes.

“i don’t like the dark.” your daughter said to you after sniffling a few more times and catching her breath. “baby, your nightlight was on. what do you mean the dark?” you responded to her, confused as you clearly remember turning it on before leaving the room.

“too dark.” all you could do was sigh and stand up, but you felt a hand grab yours. “it’s okay, you stay here. i’ll put her to bed.” sunoo said to you with a sweet smile before standing up and turning to your daughter. “how about i put you to bed tonight? how does that sound? i can read you a small story too”

you could tell your daughter really loved sunoo, especially from the bright smile that appeared on her face when your boyfriend’s offer was spoken. taking his hand in her smaller one, they waddled off to her bedroom together.

you soon followed along and put your ear to the door, while watching the small creek that was left open, you couldn’t help but get curious on how your boyfriend would put jieun to sleep.

─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ IN JIEUN’S ROOM

“what story do you want to read tonight bug?” sunoo asked her sweetly, helping her sit on the bed comfortable, while he sat at the end.

“can you make a story for me? i’ve read all of mine already?” she says back, pointing to the bookshelf of short books that have already been read to her multiple times.

sunoo just nods and smiles, before moving off her bed and drawing a quick picture, than coming back and sitting on her bed again. “are you ready? you have to really focus on this story, okay?” he starts, your daughter just nodding with a waited smile on her lips.

“well, once upon a time in a beautiful bunny forest, lived a pink baby bunny named.. what should we name her?” he asked jieun, trying to make the story more interactive for her.

“rachel!” she said excitingly. “okay, lets call her rachel then. one day rachel wanted to go to the playground with her friends, but her mommy made her make a promise. can you guess what that is?” sunoo read from the picture to her, getting a head shake of denial in response.

“her mommy asked her to promise to go straight to sleep when she comes home, just like your mommy tells you.” he says, tickling her stomach slightly when she gets brought up in the story, earning a giggle from your daughter. “but why does she have to sleep right away?”

“well, when you go to sleep, it gives you energy for the next day! with no sleep or even a little bit of sleep, you’ll be too tired to play the next day. do you want to miss out on a day of playing because you didn’t sleep before? you’ll be very sad, you know.” sunoo cocks an eyebrow at jieun, leaving her mouth agape and she nods her head.

“can i sleep now then? i don’t want to miss playtime tomorrow!” she says, worriedly while she pulls her blanket higher and clutches her stuffed animal in her arm, while sunoo grows a smile on his face and just nods.

“that sounds like a good idea, lets get you tucked in.” he stands up, helping jieun get comfortable in her bed before kissing her forehead, turning off the main loght and turning on her nightlight. “are you going to be here when i wake up?” jieun looks up at sunoo with puppy eyes.

“yes, i’ll be in the room with mommy. call me if you need me okay? goodnight bun, sweet dreams.” he says while brushing her hair to the side before leaving her room quietly, making eye contact with you after closing her door.

“is she sleeping?” he nods in response, wrapping his arms around your neck in a bear hug.

“lets get our own rest now, unless you need a storytime too?” sunoo chuckles with a teasing manner before walking to your bedroom together, you knew you were so in love.

friday, april 12th, 2:47 was the day and time you found out you were in love with your bestfriend.

how did this happen? you two were just at a beach, and now you two were back at sunghoon’s house, in each others arms watching a movie.

——— 4 DAYS AGO

“yn, you know sunghoon has the biggest crush on you, right? how could you not see it?” one of your bestfriends, ningning, argues back to you. it was almost the end of lunch break, you and your bestfriends were in a group around you and giselle’s desks.

“he doesn’t like me, we’ve been bestfriends forever.” you argue back, gently hitting chaeryeong’s arm when she shakes her head and sighs in defeat.

“looks like you’ll just have to wait and see if he confesses..” she mumbles after hearing the bell, all your friends making their ways back to their own desks.

- DING -

you heard and felt your phone vibrate on your desk from the notification, picking it up and seeing 3 texts from sunghoon.

hoon (dni..) : ynynynynyn

hoon (dni..) : can we go to da beach dis weekend

hoon (dni..) : answer my texts woman

you just chuckled at his texts before unlocking your phone and tapping your keyboard to respond.

you : yes we can go

you : sorry i was talking to my friends

hoon (dni..) : u have other friends than me??!

you : kys

you laughed quietly again before shutting off your phone and putting it away, picking up your pencil while your teacher walks back into the class, perfect timing.

——— PRESENT DAY, APRIL 12TH, 12:35 PM.

lying on your stomach while resting your head on your arm, in a bikini, while sunghoon sat up with his hands behind his back for support. “isn’t that boring to you? why don’t we go into the water like real fun!” sunghoon whined once again, only having around 10-15 minutes between each complaint.

“it’s called tanning, it makes me look better! we can go in the water in.. 5 minutes..” you bit back at him, earning a groan from the boy next to you. “you look pretty tanned or not..” he mumbled, turning his head so you couldn’t hear what he said clearly.

5 MINUTES LATER

still tanning, you soon felt arms lifting you, making you flinch. “sunghoon! put me down right now!!” you exclaimed, squirming in his arms while smacking his shoulder, only gaining laughs from your bestfriend.

“it’s been 5 minutes!!!” he fought back, finally reaching the water and sinking the both of you into the cold, clear ocean, finally putting you on your feet. both of you hissed at the cold, stepping backwards and still facing him, you went deeper into the water.

but you felt a rock hit the back of your ankle, tripping over and almost falling, but you felt sunghoon’s arms catch you by your waist before you hit the cold water with the top half of your body.

you opened your shut tight eyes, seeing sunghoon’s face closer to yours than you expected, making the both of your faces flush a shade of light red.

“sorry.. i know you can’t swim so i didn’t want you to fal-“ he started to ramble after stabling the two of you, being shut up by your lips on his. he stood frozen for a few seconds, before slowly wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing back.

pulling back from the kiss, you both smiled at each other. your arms still around his neck and his around your waist, you could just close the gap between you two and hug him tightly.

“you talk too much when you’re nervous, hoon.” you mumbled into his shoulder.

maybe ningning was right, you really were the one he loves.
