michael  secured  his  nametag  in  place,  rolling  his  eyes  while he  glanced  at  it  one  more  time  as  if  blinking  himself  out  of  a  false  reality.  the  big  bold  letters  in  green  mocked  him  relentlessly:  SHREK.  someone  had  actually  paid  to  sign  him  up,  assigning  him  the  awful  codename  in  what  could  only  be  some  twisted  game  of  payback.  he  didn't  really  know.  though  he  was  sure  only  a  sadist  would  do  this  to  him,  revelling  in  the  way  it  made  him  absolutely  miserable.  with  a  heavy  sigh,  he  dragged  himself  over  to  an  empty  pool  table  with  two  drinks  in  hand  and  humiliation  already  gnawing  at  him.  he  figured  if  all  went  horribly,  they  could  at  least  enjoy  a  (  silent  &  awkward  )  game  and  head  their  separate  ways.  there  was  a  reason  michael  tended  to  avoid  any  big  celebrations  around  town,  opting  to  hide  inside  the  comfort  of  his  own  home  or  work  late  into  the  night  —  avoiding  anyone  who  could  possibly  rope  him  into  anything.  yet  the  way  the  dates  were  set  up  this  year  left  no  room  for  him  to  hide  &  he  wasn't  entirely  cruel;  not  nearly  enough  to  leave  someone  hanging.  he  just  hoped  it  wasn't  someone  with  high  expectations  for  the  night,  knowing  he  couldn't  live  up  to  them  if  he  tried.  his  fingers  tapped  his  glass  nervously,  anticipating  the  moment  his  match  would  reveal  themselves.

a girl born into the limelight, dining with a silver spoon in her mouth. mother is an actress — engraved as a household name in south korea. her father is a highly respected and talented director. an admirable couple that many adore.

nabi has flittered about within the spotlight. child model turned actress turned singer ( flashing tw ) back to an actress. chances are, you’ve seen her face on the campaign of some luxury brand, front page of a magazine, strutting down the runway, flaunting her next trip, or most notably: her name and face splashed across online tabloids and social media for whatever scandal she’s embroiled in.

though recently it’s been quiet, too quiet. netizens and fans alike wonder where the woman has disappeared to — all public social media radio silent. of course, if you were part of the elite circle nabi associated with, you’d know she’s taking a “break”. she’s currently attempting to live through the means of simplicity, tired of the public eye watching her every move. the harsh critiques met with idolization wore down on her, causing her to lose herself and question who she is as a person aside from bagging opportunities because of her parents or a pretty face. imposter syndrome anyone?

personality: first she’s sour, then she’s sweet . . . unless she’s networking or in front of the camera, then well, she has a front to dazzle anyone nearby. a woman who loves to party, still the life of the party drawing people in — even if she’s supposed to stay lowkey right now. she’s mesmerizing like that. charismatic, but superficial. terribly spoiled, struggles doing most day-to-day things ( read: she has to look it up ), but is industrious where it counts.

𐙚ㅤㅤ　THE GOOD BAD ANGELㅤㅤ　──ㅤㅤ　kim aeraㅤㅤ　( twenty-three. she/her. lead vocalist & guitarist. )

born in busan, but raised in pohang. known by older locals as the young aera that was scolded for always dancing around, singing throughout her father's cafe. she's the reason for the build in stage for local talent and tourists alike to sing tunes for customers.

moving to london ( where the name / stage name chloé was born ) was a bittersweet feeling, aera making promises that she'll make her father proud by graduating college, only to drop out with the pressure being too much for her to bear and being unfulfilled in trying to fit her father's narrative instead of her own dreams . . . the fear of disappointment combined with wasted potential is what has kept her away from visiting when she can. instead, she now finds herself in seoul.

while the band, revon ( stylized as revøn ) is gaining traction, aera works odd jobs — unable to deal with keeping the same job for too long / rather take joys in meeting new people / dealing with new situations.

think of her as that one unemployed friend on a tuesday getting up to some random venture, except it's her working some job. the most common one you would find her aiding with, is helping danbi at the daycare with the children. it's her favorite next to band gigs, but she won't ever admit that.

personality: has a tendency to talk more than needed, but eccentric in behavior . . not that she cares of the weird looks it brings her way. often to be a bit of a freethinker, causing issues with unlike minded people, but hey, aera doesn't mind a good debate. even her closest friends can't keep up with how unpredictable she is. just when you think you know her, she does a 180 and surprises them. perhaps that ties into her mischievous nature, but it spruces things up, doesn’t it?

𐙚ㅤㅤ　THE FIERY HEART OF GOLD ANGELㅤㅤ　──ㅤㅤ　kang hyunmiㅤㅤ　( twenty-three. she/her. student & dance choreographer. )

former heir to a major fashion brand, status if that will ever change? currently unknown. born as the older twin ( those 3 minutes count, okay? ) of kang hyunwoo. eventually, received the boot alongside her brother when they wouldn’t conform to their parents ways.

attends dongguk university for police and criminal justice. with a righteous heart, it is to no one's surprise that she wants to be an advocate for victims and stand up for what's right in a world that is so unjust and cruel.

with lack of funds from her parents, she landed a job as a dance choreographer; dance a form of expression for her and one of the few things she got her parents to let her entertain under the guise of working hard in school to eventually secure the family business.

personality: fiery in nature, a firecracker ready to ignite at any sign of injustice or something brining out the passionate side of her ( keep her away from all competitive games, thank you ). well-rounded in her skills and talents, seemingly good at anything she sets her mind to. tends to let her heart guide her more than her head, which leads to impulsive decisions. tends to over speak in a way that can drive the most sane person up the wall. not her fault she tends to be verbose. it's the only way she can get her emotions and thoughts across if it isn’t for standing up for someone or not dancing her true feelings.

𐙚ㅤㅤ　THE CULTURED BAD ASS ANGELㅤㅤ　──ㅤㅤ　amano hanaㅤㅤ　( twenty-four. she/her. streamer & webtoonist. )

if you think of the stereotypical nerd / geek, one wouldn't look at hana and picture her as one. tends to serve cunt, but accompanying that on her social media pages is her cosplaying as some of her favorite characters ( and requests made by fans as well ). one of the more well-known streamers out there, tending to stick to video games and show binge sessions. currently has two moderately successful webtoons that have been her children since she was a young child in school. she pours her heart into them. has ventured into voice acting work, perhaps you have heard her in some well-known anime.

not much is known to the public or those close to her about hana's family, only that she's originally from seoul, but spent a lot of her childhood in japan, only to later return to seoul where she now resides. she prefers to keep it this way for reasons she won't disclose.

tends to lack a filter, oops? definition of: don't care, didn't ask, my boobs/tits bounce when i walk. has a great strut walk, but it's just how she normally walks.

personality: full of confidence in herself. took a long road to get there, but she will never be ashamed of who she is and what she likes. has a high sense of imagination and applies it to things she does every day, even down to simple problem solving. tends to be overdramatic, which leads to people calling her fake or whatnot, but why would she care about that? she doesn’t hold grudges long, but god can the girl be anymore petty? hint: the answer is always yes.

I'll let you in on a secret of mine. Not a single letter goes to my apprentice without me reading it prior. This should be expected, since they made my bakery their home address. An honest misjudgment on their side. Shiro has always been easy to give their trust away.

When, on 14 February, a letter addressed to 'Shiro' appeared, I was the first to read it. Your mention of cupcakes… Were you thinking of me?

While I suppose it would be unwise of me to share why this letter took several days before it got relayed to Shiro, you should believe that my intentions are well.

A few days after its disappearance, it 'suddenly' appeared back in the mail. And while it’s not uncommon for mail to get delayed or lost, Shiro appeared to be flustered when they realised that they missed their chance to send something in return.

According to my expectations, this gave me the opportunity to mention 'White Day', something that's been steadily growing more popular in Snezhnaya. (We have a White Day collection in the bakery. It'd pleasantly surprise you how well it sells.) This, in return, made her ask for my help, re: a gift to send to you;
