avery isn't (usually) the jealous type but jameson definitely is so anytime any guy she doesn't know talks to her he makes sure that he's always there just in case

୨୧ 𝘴𝘺𝘯𝘰𝘱𝘴𝘪𝘴 : fights after fights after fights, it ends up with a pair of enemies who hate eachoyher, who would've guessed that unded all the hatred was a shred of feelings towards eachother.

Price forced you to work on a mission with Simon 'ghost' Riley. He wanted you two to get along. He hated you and as you hated him back you two always made sly comments about each other which always ended up with a black eye and bloody noses.

Again. You and he got into another fight, with your hands holding his wrists behind him as you pinned him to the ground. "I thought you said I was the one going to be pinned underneath you, begging for mercy?" you mock, grinning widely as you do so. He replies,

"you better shut that mouth before I put it to work"

At his dominant words, you blush, a red streak spreading across the cheeks of your face. You can't help but mumble. "W-what?" Simon smirks a cruel, cocky, mean smirk. As if he knew what he'd just done to you. How flustered you are at the thought of the person you hate more than life itself, Simon Riley. The person who is guilty of multiple of your black eyes and many wounds, cuts, bruises, and bloody noses. The list goes on and on.

Managing to take advantage of your distraction and flip you over. He grips your waist with his feet and pulls you around so he's on top of you. Banging your head on the hard ground. "Fuck" you murmur, realizing what just happened. A slight hurt in your occiput from the attack. He looks into your eyes as you daze around, trying to find an exit from this position. "You finished bein' a twat?" growling while chuckling at his win. "You..win." You grit through your teeth.

Before you finish he lifts himself off you, looking down, his eyes flickering with smugness as he scoffs in your direction. "What's your problem?" you comment sternly. Letting yourself get up and back on your feet Simon turns to face you. Glimpsing at you before looking away again. "My problem?" you listen to him let out a small chuckle."Yes, your problem."

"my problem is that you act like a fucken child." before you could reply he interrupts you with a scowl. "it's the military, y/n. Not a park" Scoffing at his remark you find yourself storming up to him." what the fuck are you on bout?" standing next to his large frame you look pathetic. A 5'5? 5'7? Girl next to a 6'4, massive, tank-like built man. Shouting at him? You look silly. Your voice rises again, "Just because I'm not some depressed fuck who does owt with my life and who takes out my shitty life onto others doesn't mean I can't do my fucken job."

Grave face is covered under his skull mask. He rolls his eyes. "Go do your paperwork, Lieutenant," Simon commands, walking out of the room. You were furious at him. Why was he such a cunt? Why did he think for a minute that acting like that was a good idea? You treat him the same as everyone else does. Why was he a dick to you? Not understanding it you go to your room. Ready for some rest you manage to get there.

Laying down on your bed, thoughts rush into your head about just about everything. Just as you rest your eyes your phone pings. Groaning, getting yourself up then checking the phone on your bedside table. Soap?

Soap was a sergeant on your task force. He was funny and kind. A great mate. He and you got along great, regularly you would go out drinking. Normally Gaz or Roach would tag along with you two- Price would but on occasion. Tonight was one of those nights.

Your phone glows into your sleepy eyes, squinting at the screen you read 'Drinks at normal place?' Then the following text 'Drinks are on capt price for the success of the last mission.'

Soap texted into the 141 group chat. You were tired, hurt, and stressed but one drink wouldn't do anything but create some fun right?

You sigh, getting out of bed and slipping into some jeans and a tank top. It was a simple outfit. You didn't care though, you didn't want to meet anyone tonight. You weren't in the mood. Tonight was just about your mates.

Meeting at the normal bar, seeing soap and Gaz walking in. You grin and run up to them. "Gaz! Soapp!" they spin around to see you. "hey" Gaz smiles gently at you, looking at you head to toe, "not dressed up as usual?" tilting his head slightly.

"nah didn't feel like it" Soap puts his arm around your shoulder and pulls you close, "glad you came". You smile and nod, feeling content to be back with your friends. Walking inside the bar with both gaz and soap, soap still around your shoulder. Your eyes meet ghost. just great. Groaning, soap realizes what has happened. "Fight again?" in a tight voice you grunted a small 'yeah'. Soap sighs, "You really need to stop fighting with him. It's getting old". You nod in agreement, feeling embarrassed. Ghost glances at you, and you turn away. "let's just get on with it, don't pull me away if he starts with me tho." you threaten, walking up to Ghost with an annoyance glowing in your cold eyes.

Soon everyone arrived, the whole task force was now here: Roach, Price, Gaz, Soap, and Ghost. The group was drunk, seeing as price was paid, everyone kept getting drinks, one after the other, after the other, and so on. Hammered. That's the best word to describe the group. The group was inebriated, stumbling and laughing, talking loudly and clinking their beer bottles and glasses. Everyone was in high spirits, celebrating the success of the task force and the end of their mission. Everything was good until you saw ghost across the table. You had caught him giving you looks multiple times. Sick of it you sit back in your chair, crossing your arms, and decide to mess with him. Catching him glaring again, he stops to see you. Staring at him, smiling a little. Tightening his chest, looking away to avoid eye contact you groan. He would normally be cocky and make a smug comment. Was it because he was drunk and he was all nervous? It was... cute? Ew. What?

What the fuck did you just think?! Are you insane? Simon Riley? Cute? You almost gag at the thought. You shake your head, trying to clear your thoughts. No, he's not cute. He's an asshole. You need to remember why he's a dickhead. Like when he punched you before? But god he did look good, with sweat running down his head, a tight shirt, and his cocky remarks.

Excusing yourself from the group, you walk off to the bathroom. You take a deep breath and splash cold water on your face. Being drunk gives you some thoughts. Jesus. Water runs down your face when you hear a knock followed by "Y/N? It's ghost." he grumbles through gritted teeth. "Soap sent is to check if you are okay, you seem to have been sitting here for some time."

"I'm fine, I was just coming out." You hiss, wiping your face. A minute passes, you had expected Simon to have gone by now so you exit, unlocking the floor and without looking walking out. Just bumping into Simon's chest, stumbling back and looking up at him, your cheeks rosy and him stepping back. "ah, sorry i-i didn't mean to" he trembles," I didn't mean to be in the way-" You interrupt him " its fine ghost...why-why are you still here?"

"Oh! Right," he exclaims, just remembering why he was waiting outside the bathroom for you. "I just wanted to say-" he stops. He inhales and exhales heavily "Sorry" gritting his teeth. You could tell he didn't mean it. You scoffed at his words. He looks at you expectantly. You roll your eyes and say "Yeah, sure." You walk away, leaving him standing there. "Fuck, man. Y/N!" he yells out in your direction. Stopping in your tracks, spinning around and meeting his eyes as he catches up with you. "I should explain myself." You let him talk, leaning back slightly and tilting your head. As if to tell him ' go on ', "it's just you making me funny. Like feeling funny. When it's soap or gaz its different cause they just piss is off, but when you do or when-when I see you its like my heart stops." confused you choke on nothing. "holy fuck what?"

"what im saying is, i need u to go away. holy shite i cannot believe i told u." u glance at his mouth then back up into his eyes. " so you like me?" you scoff, grinning slightly.

The way his cheeks flush with a delicate shade of pink, and the moment his breath brushes against your skin, it's as if time stands still. And when he takes your hand in his, oh, the warmth that spreads through your heart is simply magical. The gentle squeeze he gives is a beautiful display of affection. And then, with a burst of courage, you wrap your hands around his neck and share a sweet, small kiss. He pulls away and looks at you, an adoring gaze in his eyes. A smile forms on your lips as you both share the moment, content and happy. "God I can't stand you" you mumble. He laughed, a deep chuckle.
