It is narrated that when Imam Ali (AS) was hit by the poisonous sword of Ibn Muljam (LA) the doctors suggested he should be given milk as a remedy. Hundreds of children came carrying bowls of milk to the house of Imam Ali (AS) When people inquired who these were?! And just when Ali lifted his head from the ground, ibn Muljam struck the fatal blow at his forehead with deadly force that it split open.

Blood squirted from Ali's forehead in several jets, and he exclaimed:
