We're so sad to hear of the passing of one of the two captive dolphins being held at Tehran Milad Dolphin Tower. Her name was Alpha and she performed silly and cruel tricks like these alongside her tankmate Casia. She is the one closest to the camera in this video.⁠ Tehran's Bureau of Environmental Protection visited the facility and reportedly found Alpha dead in the pool, learned of the recent deaths of two sea lions, and that the dolphinarium has no veterinarian. Local news is reporting that the bureau suspended the facility but tickets are still being sold!
