Giorgos Kapoutzidis is a famous actor/screenwriter/presenter. He's mostly known for writing the shows Στο παρά πέντε/In the nick of time and Σαββατογεννημένες/Women-Born-On-Saturday in which he also had main roles as Spyros and Jose respectively. He talks openly about his sexuality and how people with different sexualities should not be treated as less human. Also, it appears like he only writes lgbt roles for himself so far, (Spyros was ace and Jose bi) Last year he was also the speaker on Eurovision and currently he is working on the script of Σέρρες/Serres, and his play called "42497"

Karagiozis is a shadow puppet and fictional character of Greek folklore, originating in the Turkish shadow play Karagöz and Hacivat. He is the main character of the tales narrated in the Turkish and Greek shadow-puppet theatre. The plays usually focuses on him trying to find a job to feed his family as he gets into shenanigans. This far that man has had as many job as Barbie

Ok so I was writing a post about Serres and realized something, about their names...

It could be random but....

Odysseus: as we all now Odysseus from mythology spent like 20 years trying to get back to his home, Odysseus in Serres is also looking for his home, whether that's Athens or Serres ... or maybe a person

Eftychia: Eftychia in greek means happiness, and Eftychia died.... need I say more?

Nancy: Nancy's last words were "Είμαι δυστυχισμένη" (I'm unhappy) before the show ended, once she realized she was no longer living for herself and 3 months after Eftychia (Happiness/Her mom) died. Nancy short for Anastasia (if I'm not wrong) means resurrection, and in the last episodes she was trying to change her life

Lefteris: short for Eleftherios, Eleftheria= Free/Freedom. I don't know if it means much, but in the first episodes he was afraid to walk around town in a wheelchair because people would see him, and Odysseus was like, so what? Live for yourself dad. Who cares if they see you. So like, he needs some freedom yknow?

Stamatina: the name is similar to the word stop and she needs to be stopped cause she's annoying (and probable dangerous to society)

Ps: I just realized Billy is short for Vasily which is similar to the word king/royal and Billy's parents were rich and all. He didn't have a single line in the show since he was just an iPad kid but🤷‍♀️
