there was a time when such words coming from the mouth of a devir , let alone viconia , would've made any lucky male drow flutter up into the clouds - alas , that was before . now they are met with a scowl , the belittling words ( surely , they were belittling , yes ? - and if they were not ... that might actually be worse ) strike a nerve instead , pulling a frown from the young drow's face .
