❛ tell me this isn't the cutest movie you've ever seen. ❜ rosy pads wrap around the cold cardboard cup , lips curling around the straw as she sucks some of the milkshake between teeth , doe eyes peering over to jackie , gently gauging her level of absorption. the only light provided is emitting from the large television sitting in the center of the big yet cluttered living space. the little vampire echos through the room , filling her with a warmth of nostalgia. leaning down elena lazily nabs one of the crab rangoons among other various snacks and treats spread over the coffee table. ❛ do you like it ? ❜

her clean tennis shoes trudge along the loose gravel of the open sidewalk leading to the honeycutt's, a bit of a distance but she didn't mind making the trip. just off the side of the road a pretty white flower catches her attention , slender legs coming to a small halt , slipping down to take in the scent. sweet floral notes fill her , smiling as she clipped it at the base of it's stem. in a way , it sort of reminded her of him. of matt.

oh matt , with that all american truck and sweet handsome smile. he's become such a comfort for her recently , the only sense of normalcy she could cling to. he didn't need to try to be anything but him, soft and sweet. she could see him for a bit but didn't feel the need to say much , not till she found herself at the edge his lot , soft yet plushy lips quirk into a warm smile.

she doesn't take long to stand before him , doe-like eyes searching in his gaze as she spin the small flower between the pads of raspberry fingers. ❛  this made me think of you , here .   ❜ she extends the offer , pushing a couple strands of her chestnut tresses behind her ear. ❛  truck giving you problems again ?   ❜

he was leaning over the open hood of the old pickup truck, the sound of metal on metal reverberating as he adjusted something with a wrench. the afternoon sun fell softly on the honeycutt house, illuminating the rust that stained the sides of the truck— an old ford F-150 that had seen better days. it was a tired vehicle, but matt refused to abandon it, just like his simple life. he liked fixing things.

then he felt her before he heard her. the soft sound of footsteps on the sidewalk, the shift in the air that seemed charged with an almost palpable energy. it was her. elena. he didn’t need to look to know. his heart always seemed to recognize her presence before his eyes did.

he stopped, the wrench still clutched in his greasy hand, and took a deep breath, as if steeling himself. with a slight pause, he straightened and looked toward the sidewalk, where elena gilbert was approaching, a gentle smile playing on his lips.

This has been such a long time coming now, but I'm FINALLY sitting down to actually do it!

ABOUT THIS DESIRED REALITY

This DR follows the plot of the books and movies of Harry Potter, however, there are some small changes. Kind of similar to real life, a lot of the prejudice lies with our parents and their parents etc., this does lead to us getting dragged into the mess of the war and Harry still being seen as the 'Chosen One'. But, none of the actual students at Hogwarts hold the same level of prejudice our parents do.

In this DR, witches and wizards are sent to study at special Wizarding and Witchcraft Primary and Secondary schools where they are taught how to read and write, basic maths and English (because where do they actually learn this stuff?) as well as some simple charms, transfiguration and potions etc.

After they finish secondary school and turn 20 years old they are then sent to study at Hogwarts for University before they decide what they would like to do for a job after school, and to learn more about the magic they possess. Depending on what they want to do they can leave school early if they should so choose too.

None of the students die (so Fred is safe, as well as Lavender and anyone else who canonically dies who was a STUDENT at Hogwarts throughout the series). But Remus, Tonks, Sirius or any of the older characters that canonically die, still do die.

BACKSTORY: I was born into a pure-blood family, but I am actually a half-blood.

My mother fell in love with a Muggle man, and accidentally fell pregnant with me. Before anyone found out she confided in a very close friend of hers named Reagan Rosier and they decided they would marry to protect both her and me. It would also help Reagan, as he's gay, but due to his family desperately wanting an air they are very unaccepting of that side of him. So, they continued as friends, and were wed for convenience.

They never wanted to lie to me about my background or about who my real father was, so as soon as I was old enough to understand why it needed to be kept a secret, and to even understand the concept, they told me. And luckily, from then on, I was able to have a relationship with my biological father Edward.

FRIENDS: My closest friends are mostly just members of Slytherin house, so, Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zabini, Theodore Nott etc.

I did script that everyone gets along quite well regardless of house so I have friends from all houses. I am also quite close with the Weasley twins and the Golden Trio.

And I of course scripted my IRL best friend into this DR as well!

I didn't script Mattheo Riddle in, because if I'm really honest, I don't fully understand who he's meant to be. Nothing about his fanon backstories makes sense to me.

Hopefully this gives at least a little insight into the mess that is my Hogwarts University DR! I don't think this is super interesting and some of it is probably a little bit cringy, but it might help give people some ideas for their DRs?

nayeon has lost count of how many times she’s driven through the grand gates of the castle grounds, but she’s sure this is the most excited she’s ever been to be driving up to the royal castle. she recalls the first time she ever stepped foot here, shaky hands gripping the steering wheel of her car as she nervously came to pick yeji up and hang out with her for the very first time. she couldn’t help but feel intimidated back then, by the security, by the sheer size of the castle, by the regal atmosphere, hell, she was even a little intimidated by yeji. but that was, what, six months ago? and now here she is, practically a regular at the castle, recognized by the guards, and dating the princess herself, albeit in secret.

she’s not supposed to be here. not right now, at least. she has a full day of work today, but how could she not come to see her girlfriend on this day of all days? plus, she knows yeji doesn’t have anything on her schedule at the moment, so she decided, screw her own schedule, this is the perfect time to ditch and pay the love of her life a surprise visit. is it a surprise, though? sure, she told yeji earlier that she’ll be busy throughout the whole day, but she has her location on so it’s very much possible that the princess already knows that she’s within the castle grounds now. she could only hope that yeji hasn’t thought to check on her.

after parking her car in her usual spot, she gets out with everything she picked up on the way and walks up the steps to the main doors, stopping about halfway up as she decides that she’ll wait for her girlfriend there. she takes out her phone and calls yeji’s number—it’s on speed dial, of course—tapping her foot as she waits for the line to connect. “baby, hi!” she speaks into the phone, eyes lighting up in excitement the moment yeji answers. “i know this is sudden but i’m outside right now, can you come out for a bit?”

the idol is suddenly nervous as she waits for the princess to open the doors, pacing slightly while she goes over in her head, the script of what she wants to tell yeji that she prepared and spent all night practicing last night. she freezes when she hears the doors opening, standing at attention as she prepares to face yeji. the doors open to reveal her girlfriend, and the enormous smile on nayeon’s face is instant upon seeing her. “okay, princess, before you ask or say anything, let me speak first,” she quickly says, taking in a deep breath then opening her mouth to begin her little speech, but no words seem to come out.

for a moment, she panics, as suddenly, with her beloved standing right in front of her, nayeon’s head goes completely blank, the words she wrote, and read and reread over and over again disappearing into thin air from her mind. dammit, looks like she’ll just have to wing it.

“i love you,” she ends up saying, staring into yeji’s eyes from her spot on the staircase. “through the good and the bad and everything in between. no matter if it’s sunny or rainy, or when it snows or hails or storms. through every laugh and every cry, every tear and every smile. i will always love you, my princess.”

“sometimes i think about how, if i did just one thing differently in the past, it could’ve led me down a different path, one where i never met you, or never started hanging out with you, or never fell for you. i think about how it could’ve been anyone else, anyone at all, who caught your eye and who you decided to talk to and who asked you to hang out that day, but out of everyone and anyone, it was me.” she pauses and takes another deep breath. “it was me. and each time i ponder on this, it makes me even more grateful that i did whatever it is that i did to have led me to you. i want to thank you, thank god, thank every god there is or was or ever will be, thank fate and destiny, the whole universe and every other universe that may exist outside of this one, and anyone else i can possibly thank, that you came into my life and chose to stay.”

another pause. she realizes her lips are dry, so she quickly darts her tongue out to wet them. “i used to think my life was already good enough, with my dream career and friends who feel like family, and that there’s nothing else i could possibly need. but then you came along with your bright eyes and your captivating smile to prove me wrong.” it makes her chuckle, the memory of the first day they spent together. getting comfortable with the princess, learning her quirks, seeing more to her than a person of royalty. it’s no wonder that one day alone managed to win nayeon over—she has half a mind to think that yeji is just so lovable that anyone can fall in love with her in a day. “you charmed me, princess, swept me off of my feet and stole my heart like it was as easy as breathing, and you didn’t even know you were doing that to me. and now, i can’t imagine my life without you. i didn’t know it back then, that talking to the pretty princess would eventually get me here, dating the most wonderful girl i’ll ever have the honor to meet, but looking back on it now, it was the best decision i’ve ever made.”

“it’s been six months and ten days since our beginning, since the day i took said pretty princess on a day out and quickly realized that she’s the one for me, and a month since we made us official. it took us a while to get here, huh? but i’m glad we took it slow, because it made the night you told me that you love me all the more worth it. some people may think that this is a little much for celebrating just a month. but i never needed a reason to shower you with love and affection in the first place, especially because you deserve it, all of it, every second of every day. i love you, hwang yeji. i love you more than i thought i was capable of doing. i love you more with each passing second. and i love you so much that i can physically feel it, feel the gentle, loving hold you have on my heart. i’m completely yours, princess, and i wouldn’t have it any other way. happy one month, my love.”

finally, she puts the cake aside, safely on the ground, so she can properly give yeji her last gift. the idol reaches into the pocket of her cardigan to take out a small, deep red, velvety box. she opens it to reveal a pair of matching rings, both of plain silver with a simple heart-shaped hole in each of them. nayeon takes both out of the box before shoving the closed box back into her pocket. “these, i also ordered before our first date.” she smiles at yeji, so widely that her cheeks almost hurt. “i wanted to give yours to you on valentine’s, and they were done well before that, but i figured it’d be a better gift for our one month.” she picks up one of the rings and angles it in a way to allow her girlfriend to see that there are engravings inside. this one says ‘nayeon’s’ with two sets of dates—one of their first time going out together, their adventure at the street market and the design plaza, and their first sleepover, when they realized their feelings and shared their first kiss, among other things, and the other of nayeon’s most recent concert, the same night they said “i love you” to one another for the first time and became an official couple, the very event that happened one month ago which they are celebrating today. “my ring is exactly the same, except it says your name instead of mine,” she explains as she gently lifts yeji’s hand and slips the ring onto her ring finger, leaning down to kiss her knuckles before also putting on her half of the ring set. “it took me a while to decide between getting us rings or bracelets or necklaces, but we already have matching bracelets,” she shows the kuromi bracelet adorning her wrist. “and you already have that heart necklace you never take off,” she shifts her gaze to the shiny accessory hanging from the princess’ neck, before meeting her eyes once more. “so i decided that matching rings would be the best.” she lifts her hand next to yeji’s, lining their new rings up side-by-side.

001. this blog is for an original character based on my personal take on vampire mythology, which i created in 2018. the themes are heavily centered in genres of SUPERNATURAL and BIBLICAL HORROR ( i.e. angels and demons ). while it's not necessary to have either of these elements involved when interacting, it will show up frequently on my blog so if that's not something you're interested in, this may not be the muse for you. be warned that love’s backstory include mentions of grooming and exploitation, however, nothing of that nature will ever be explicitly written out.

as he leans in , calling her out on her bluff , she can feel her body betray her as heat rushes to her face , coating cheeks with a soft crimson. she hates how much of an influence he has over her mind , her body. because there was a subtle truth that in the fact that she hadn't left. that maybe she didn't want to. there was so much she wanted to say but her lips part and nothing comes out. she wanted to scream , aching to scream. but she cant do it. jaw clenches as she keeps her face leveled with her stature. it was unlike her normal form of eye contact, usually craning her neck a bit to meet him. making it easier with their natural height difference. but no , doe eyes roll up , ghosting behind dollish lashes to meet the demands of his gaze.

at first she's bolstering with certain rage , breath so heavy her chest concaves with every inhale. she should be walking away. right there, right then. but she doesn't. she stays. and she's ashamed of herself for it.

the hold on the notebook tucked away within her slender grasp becomes tighter. a curve forming from the pressure as she hugs it to her side. she remains tethered to his eyes but she could tell from her peripherals the way his touch gently grazed the binding , and all she could think about was wanting him to touch her like that. the pressure was too much , she falters in her self preservations , gulping thickly as the smooth tones of his voice piquing something inside her. hardened features grow softer , lips parting as she's lifting her chin up just slightly. searching deep into his gaze she finds her voice is so small and delicate , a shy curiousness ebbed within. ❛ is that what you want kai , to control me ? ❜

time was ticking and as the minutes pass she is closer and closer to being late to her next class. as her brain wracks around to trying to figure out what to do it hits her. the idea that maybe if she actually left him there that it might make him feel something , maybe a gentle sting. something negative. yet another abandonment to strap under his belt. elena had no intentions of abandoning kai. everything about her loosens a bit , lashes fluttering softly. giving in.

I’ve been a massive fan of harry potter since I was a kid and my favourite parts of the books and the movies are when we get to see them doing normal schoolwork. As soon as I shift there i’m literally going to spend all day reading my school books to learn more about the wizarding world. I just know Sirius and James will be sick of me because you’ll never not find me in the library. This’ll probably be the only reality where i’m actually excited to study and do homework lmao

The first time I shift to my marauders dr, i’ll have arrived the day before the rest of the students because my dad is a teacher, so this will give me time to explore the school by myself so I can try to figure out where i’m going lmao. This is also because I want to practice some magic and underage wizards can only do this at Hogwarts i’m pretty sure? I’m honestly just nervous that I won’t remember any spells 😭 I’ve scripted that I have been writing diaries since I was little and they also have little pictures in them that I took and I can’t wait to read them and see what my childhood was like (I know i’ll have memories of my childhood but I also figured this was a good idea!)

I’m obsessed with quidditch and it’s not even real 😔 (the flying kind I mean). Like it’s to the point where I might rival James or Oliver Wood with my obsession, it’s really bad. I listen to the Harry Potter audiobooks on my way to work and whenever they start playing quidditch I get so hyped. Like my hearts beating super fast and I get sweaty, it’s ridiculous. I act like I don’t know what’s going to happen 💀. Anyway, I’m going to be the seeker for the Gryffindor team and I’M SO EXCITED. The first couple of times James wakes me up for quidditch practice i’ll be excited until it’s lashing rain and then i’ll end up hating him forever.
