in   dark   depths   of   the   wizard's   small   cottage   ,   the   two   lovers   lay   in   a   mess   of   their   own   making   ,   sheets   & pillows   strewn   about   in   a   way   that   could   only   be   caused   by   pent   up   passion & impatience.   what   was   meant   to   be   a   place   for   his   study   is   now   the   stage   for   their   secret   romance   ,   a   risk   that   many   would   not   take   with   a   princess   destined   for   the   throne   ,   but   its   is   one   that   the   aspiring   wizard   will   greatly   take.   she is worth everything in his mind , too rare a jewel to ever ignore. sweat   glistens   on   his   brow   as   he   gazes   upon   his   beautiful   lover   ,   still   hovering   above   him   as   she   smiles   ,   aware   of   what   they   have   done , yet pleased & content.   there   is   no   regret   ,   no   shame   found   in   their   smiles   &   the   wizard   erases   any   lingering   doubt   as   he   sits   up   just   enough   to   meet   her   in   a   kiss , savoring the taste & allowing her to take the lead.   she's   warm   &   flickering   like   a   wild   flame   even   now   &   the   burn   is   delicious   despite   the   risk   of   pain.   howl   will   gladly   risk   any   pain   that   may   come   with   their   being   together.   they've   known   each   other   since   they   were   young   enough   to   speak   &   no   one   quite   knows   him   as   well   as   the   princess   does.   she's   in   his   heart   ,   in   his   blood   .   .   .   &   now   they   are   united   by   sins   of   the   flesh. this   was   the wizard's   first   time   exposing   himself   fully   in   such   a   vulnerable   fashion   &   he   could   not   imagine   anyone   better   to   share   this   first   time   with.   he   hopes   rhaenyra   remains   the   only   one   he   shares   this   with   .   .   .   forever.
