This used to be a very good #limestone #quarry in the 19th century. It was so busy, the risk of #landslide became very dangerous and so the place was closed in 1963. For many years it was prohibited to visit it but it is so unique place people keep coming there anyway. It got the nicknames like Czech #Grandcanyon or #BigAmerika. The location is so atractive it was used several times by the movie productions. The place is 800 meters long, 200 meters wide and 100 meters deep. The deep of water is approximetly 10 meters. #velkaamerika #lom #českýkras #beroun #birdview #výhled
