okay wait new headcanon where dawn can’t get written into drusilla’s memories correctly?? bc of insanity/seer reasons. so while they all have these new memories of angel threatening dawn or dawn being there when joyce hit spike with an ax, dru would oscillate b/w legitimately not seeing her (interpreted as pretending she’s not there), very ominous “you’re not supposed to be here’s” and pity mixed with murderous rage directed at a power no one can see. so all of the scary reactions people have to dawn in season 5 are doubly scary bc they can remember something similar happening with dru first

"when, dru?" spike asked, not knowing what she was talking about. they had been together decades before. probably was times he had left without saying bye, but he had always tried to. "because if you're talking about when we split, that was you leaving me, remember. with no goodbye." he should be gentle with her now. he was trying. but he didn't want things with dru to ruin things with buffy. spike cared for dru, probably always would. but not the same as with buffy now.

            how  shadowed  is  her  room  then?  that  johanna  seems  like  a  burst  of  light  in  comparison?  despite  not  knowing  the  girl  well  at  all,  she  worries  for  her.  the  all-too  familiar  twinge  has  plagued  her  throughout  the  night.  especially  watching  a  man  watching  the  young  lady  in  front  of  her.  perhaps,  past  experiences  have  made  her  more  sensitives  to  issues  involving  men  looking  at  young  women  in  ways  that  make  her  skin  crawl.  

            there  is  a  glance  thrown  towards  anthony,  busy  talking  to  his  group  of  friends.  part  of  her  is  glad  that  he  is  with  them  --  she  feels  as  if  she’s  kept  him  away  from  his  peers  as  of  late,  even  if  anthony  denies  it  --  but  the  other  part  wants  to  signal  to  him  in  some  way  to  look  over  here  now.  she  isn’t  good  at  this.  she  doesn’t  know  how  to  deal  with  such  a  situation.

it isn't often that ren runs into others of her particular creed. she's usually pretty lowkey, but, well. this time of year brings a certain appetite for risk to the surface.

she practically leers at the other vampire, fangs bared as thick globs of blood drip down her chin. it's smeared across her cheeks like she rubbed her face in her meal. which, like, yeah, kinda. so she's a messy eater ; bite her. ha, get it?

❝ sorry, babes, well's already dry. ❞ the body slumps as she lets her hold on them go. she practically bled them dry already anyway — drusilla isn't really interrupting anything. ren shrugs ; ❝ m'not big on sharin'. ❞

Qetsiyah observed the woman for a while before her curiosity got the better of her. She was good at recognizing vampires, but the energy was a bit... different around this one. She stood up from the park bench and walked over, stopping in front of the other and crossing her arms. "You. You're more than just a vampire, aren't you?"

zagreus was admittedly having a rather decent time within the maze. he had always liked a bit of excitement, and if anything it felt striking similar to home, especially with a hoard of skeletons attacking him. he hadn't been fully going all out, but he did have his sword with him, and had taken the chance to treat it like a sparing session with skelly, a good chance to remember his moves after having so much time off from seriously fighting. he had nearly been done, debating whether or not he should wait around to see if they would reform after he finished off the last few skeletons, when he heard footsteps nearby. "sorry, did you want a go at some of them?" he asked, fully pausing to look at the woman. "i didn't think there was anyone around so i handled most of what was here."

oh! oh! oh! the fact that giles never ever ever interacts with drusilla/comforts spike over drusilla/finds out that buffy promised spike drusilla’s life. bc the writers have erased jenny. she’s gone. and so there’s no reason for giles to hate dru so much, to hate her as much as he hates angel, as much as he hates any other vampire on the face of the earth. angel killed jenny, but dru defiled her. dru made him think she was back. that’s the kind of thing you can never forgive and never ever forget.

"hmm," emma said, studying the other. drusilla was emma's newest interest. almost a pet, if you will. she was weird and easily manipulated, all things emma loved in a dear human. "well sweetie, the outfit is awful. but i guess it's very you." brutal, but honest. but emma liked to toy with people. she was yet to reveal she was a vampire to the other. but emma didn't plan on feeding on dru like she did with other people. no, the girl was simply for fun. especially because of her peculiar gifts. ones she was yet to find on this island.

he sized up the other as she took her seat , and he decided to heed her advice . "you seem like you know what you're doing ," he nodded as he looked over their whiskey selection to find something that piqued his interest . it was rather lackluster , but he hadn't had high hopes for this place when he'd walked in . "and you don't seem impressed . is this not your usual venue of choice ?"
