My Angels and Demons, do not fight on sight.

It isn't part of their nature.

They are bound of duties, one to hunt down those that have escaped hell and those that claim souls for rewards in the eyes of the Lord.

They do not see each other as enemies, but they do find each other annoying to be around. Angels have little care for humanity - whilst Demons care for them a lot. The apathy of Heavenly Creatures isn't the same as Demonic empathy. After all, a demon will understand the suffering of humanity more than an angel's indifference to their trials by the Creator.

That being said, they can clash, and it's a messy process, but it's often a quick decision between two powerful forces. The only time they would be hunting each other down is if they are chasing a dangerous being; a demon and angelic mix of human vessels.

After all, they are powerful and hard to obtain but the Demon's seek to use them for a meal to evolve whilst Angel's seek them out to destroy as they tamper with the Creator's plan.

First one to claim the death, wins - and that can turn into a scrap sometimes.

Hellhounds, mostly cause it's part of pack life. It's outta respect mostly, until they gotta kill to take over.

Hard Worker ~

Getting used to a new face was something else, but a common practice amongst demons that needed a human flesh suit to reside on the human realm longer than just a visitation... Though Weissager could do as his brother did and just warp the shadows and blood into something worth wearing and make humanity see just was needed, it was a draining process. So, instead, he wore them instead. Like suits in a wardrobe, he had many bodies in storage for his needs. A talent some demons enjoyed, some that didn't... Weissager was neither side, just a necessary when he stands upon the bustling realm.

Blinking lashes and feeling his veins fill with fire and blood, he's attention to the time switched over to grace him with another angle in a mirror. A sight that made his brow raise with expression rarely used... Another shift of expression, then another and another. Humoured by the more welcoming looseness of facial muscles.

Dismissing his play, he dresses in the garments collected for this body and wears them with pride. Sure, it was seemingly of another time, but some were able to pass through the eras love for 'old eras returning to fashion', thus, Weissager needed not seek out another wardrobe for this form. Adjusting collar, gloves and shoulder tie for his coat, he stared upon its emptiness, a lack of flare and decided their and then - igniting it with flame and sprouting his own fur to dye it burned-blood black and his pelt on its edges...

He smirked and turned upon heels, returning to the world of humans with a vortex torn through by his own blood-blade and returns to the hunt of his precious persons.

When a Hellhound howls, it isn’t for humanity to shiver in fear, but those of demonic origin that have escaped Hell without the right. Hellhound’s are hunters, yes, they are demons, yes - but most of all, they are Jailors of the dead. They hunt down escaped souls, they collect the dead, they pass through the living until its time to drag them to Hell for them to be judged. They are monsters with the nigh ability to hunt until they perish - which is a very, very long time.

One scent can never be forgotten by the beasts of paw and fangs. They are equipped with abilities and methods to drag the biggest of foes to the most exclusive back below. They are never far behind their targets to drag home and there is no real relief in ‘escaping’ them as they will track their prey down. Be it in years to come, or the next day after escape. Hellhounds live up to their names of being Hounds. 

Once one canine has your scent, the pack will follow.

Weissager has five digits paws, meaning, they aren’t just for running at extreme speeds but also literally grabbing his targets like any predator with small vermin. His dew claw is lower, making it easier for him to really make tight grips of his target, a crushing hold alongside slicing claws that shred meat and material effortlessly. These paws allow him to scale buildings, hold onto rough terrain and balance himself out alongside his tail in awkward spaces.

Like a human doing parkour, the power of his dew claw allows him fluid jumps across the oddest of platforms, be it from railing to railing, from ledge to rain gutters, or some car roof to a human's head. Weissager’s ability to be agile and swift from the floor gives him the advantage of aerial take-downs. With his wispy hair making him look larger and longer, it also gives the illusion of him being serpentine, avian and feline like at a glance.

However, by the time you’ve caught a glimpse, he is latched onto his target and tearing out their neck.

Soul Bonding with a Demon.

It isn't rare, nor it is frowned upon. In fact, it's one of the most common things a demon can do with a human - after all, generational curses are a form of this method, a lesser soul bonding but a bonding nonetheless.

My Hell Hounds, soul bond with one being at a time, Beschutzer with Atem, and Weissager with Nanami. This is an act of adoration, full loyalty and complete obsession.

They love, adore, protect, want and more with this being more than their personal duty of serving hell and it's schemes. They are of a ranking that thankfully many demons won't be bothered by their bonding to a mortal but they can be teased about it. None has happened so far, however.

On one hand, being soul bond can be seen as a weakness, because now everyone will know that a Hound has a soul to attack - however, it can be seen as a blaring warning sign. The Hound has found their Soul - so they have nothing to fucking lose in a fight so they will be at a 110% from the get go instead of looking for a quick pummelling to run away for another time.

The Pros of a Demon's Mark - the sigil of their Name and Species for a human is a hellish protection. Impurity will gather, but instead of harming the human, it'll protect them from others. Weissager's mark for example will null and void any impurities that include spying, scrying, observing with ill intent or perverse emotions behind it. Nanami will not appear on any form of a map that will be looking for him, because Weissager is a Seer - and thus, his foresight blocks that.

Beschutzer's Pro for Atem is a sixth sense of the battlefield or around anyone with ill intent. Beschutzer's status as a war machine, gives Atem a heightened sense to look after himself, to feel hostility, to read a room of enemies and friends alike. Gives him an edge of being in the wrong place at the right time. Thus - Atem is able to know that something will happen and when it does, he isn't spooked by it like most persons will be.

The sigils for Demons, allows them to know exactly where their Bonded are. Location, time, their mood to a certain degree and most of all, if they are in danger. These markings are hidden from those that do not know what to look for, after all - to look into a demon's mark is like opening up a diary. It's rude and invasive, thus, don't mind the hound shadow that'll appear to growl, snarl and bark - warning those eyes to piss off.

The Bond's Cons are the attraction of lesser demons that will try to harm or plead their loyalty, the sensation of eyes on them when it's just the bonded checking in, the feverish dark energy that could cause some hallucinations if they are not of sound mind.

Over all, the soul bonds of my hellhounds have been 1-on-1, they are bonded to the soul and that if the body dies, the soul will still be branded, thus they can await their being to be reborn to find them again.

It's possible for souls to fragment on their journey of rebirth thus, it's up to the hound to seek the pieces out or find the nearest one and hope for the best that this fragment either remembers them, turns dominant and reforges the missing parts from memories, or begins anew with what it feels like it should do.

Nine times out of ten, it's the last option, due to the lack of understanding from the humans part. Hounds will not force the bond to occur because it can backfire and turn into a generational curse of blood, instead of soul.
