constantly boggles my mind how widespread and interconnected the furry community is. i live in canada, my bf's in europe, and he texted me "just met someone that knows the person you just posted a commission for irl" from a wedding he was attending

like okay, the wedding couple were furries themselves so sure yeah it makes sense that at least some of the attendees would be too. what i'm saying is that as someone whose experience with fandom is largely mega-conglomerate anime conventions where a vast majority of attendees are strangers to each other, all kinda walled off in their own niche sub-communities and cosplay groups, it's amazing that furries can go to any furry con or event wade into the crowd and almost instantaneously find people that they know
