gillion tidestrider, he didnt rlly wear makeup in the undersea and has internalised that but he would happily wear makeup if offered, like god someone PLEASE givr him permission. just make sure that its suitable for a triton though.

jay ferin, she's great with stuff like clown makeup and sfx. if she tries normal makeup looks she will mess it up and start cussing tho.

chip, he used to use makeup but with the bandana he doesnt now lol. anyways he's not perfect but DAMN he's better than u would expect. he refuses to elaborate on how he got so good at it (he's just very insecure abt his appearance okay).

ashe winters, she literally had all the time in the world to practice at home she's SO fucking good at it. she consumes makeup tutorials like nobody's business. makeup QUEEN.

william wisp, he applies so much black eyeshadow n stuff. its in his bonez. really good with stuff relating to nail polish and all that. after meeting ashe he started to get more ambitious with his makeup, up until what happened. then he started wearing MORE black makeup and then even MORE after realising he has no blood. after gaining a new heart she's started wearing warmer makeup with more reds, and also doing more horror-esque looks. uhhh i guess basically she changes her makeup a lot depending on how she's feeling and what's happening.

dakota cole, not interested. might have some internalised feelings of thinking it makes him look less genuine or faker somehow. and gender issues.

vyncent sol, id have to think more abt whether the cat boy would wear makeup.

kian stone, prolific in it babes check him out she's rocking it. LOVES doing drag makeup. fuck yeah!!

team rood session 39....

we spent about a week total hanging out in the sewer

during that time faylen managed to find a potential ally within the city and managed to convince her to help

said ally also managed to scrounge up some other people willing to help team rood in their aid

she also said that she got in contact with someone who was friends with her parents/who is a member of the rebellion group team rood had been working with thus far

there was a meeting in the basement of the tavern in the poorer part of the city where faylen made a speech 

one person stood up and challenged her motivations (3 guesses who)

faylen stood her ground beautifully

said challenger revealed himself as the member of the rebellion group

and ovak filled in the people on their plan for taking back the throne

team rood hung out in the basement for about an hour after everyone left just to be safe, but it was roughly an hour later that city guards stormed into the tavern looking for them

they were forced to make a quick escape: laucien (warlock npc) could dimension door everyone but ovak back to the sewers

but it’s ok because ovak had a sending stone

and eryk had the other

the poor boy fainted and was very out of it for quite some time

he makes her a little amulet necklace of moradin’s anvil using his carpentry tools :’))))))

they’re so cute i love them i can’t believe it finally happened

And so team rood was finally able to begin to enact their plan re: assembling their forces and preparing to storm the city

they also explored the sewers a bit more just to get a good layout and map out possible escape routes should they need it

valko’s basic knowledge of sewer systems came in handy identifying and operating sewer controls

the gang actually found the controls for the wealthy/palace district, which they later use to infiltrate said district

valko continues to roll poorly against the blood curse put upon faylen and her family 

he started accumulating effects of the curse: first his soul was split in half, with one half being stuck in a very very old raven, and other effects 

this also meant that he was getting increasingly paranoid and hateful about faylen

he prayed to pelor about it because he was scared and pelor told him to fight it

and valko tries...he tries so damn hard

but eryk gets a real nasty ‘bout of curse that was basically possession and made him feral and made him go after faylen while it was just faylen and valko on watch

valko jumped in the way (had to roll for it), which allowed faylen to cast a greater restoration spell on eryk to end the effect of the curse

eryk was aright but he was unconscious

this event brought all of valko’s hatred and paranoia up to the surface and he said some not very nice things....

ovak successfully diffused the situation (along with some good rolls on valko’s part) and he left the room to go sit in some sewage to calm down (as one does)

faylen fucking astral projects into the past during one of her rests to a moment that happened to her as a child, where she fell down into the ruins of the old palace, where she was born/used to live, and bby faylen wandered into a room with a mirror that had the soul of her father inside it

and “spectral”? faylen knocked her unconscious to keep her from peering into the mirror (and because this already happened)

she carried bby faylen out of the room and sealed the door to said room with vines (which we had originally thought her mentor had done)

and when she turned around, she came face to face with the past version of her mentor, and he recognized her, and he took young faylen from her before she was brought back to her own body

LAUCIEN is MVP and once he realized what kind of curse it was (a blood curse) he was able to tell us how it was probably cast (by the empress making a deal with vecna) and how to break the curse

breaking the curse is pretty involved and requires very specific things and circumstances

and there are only three days a year on which the curse could be broken

one of which is coming up in like 10 days of where we are currently

....it also happens to be nerull’s holiday.....

valko’s raven (you know, the really old one that has half his soul in it?) is starting to look really sickly and start loosing feathers....that poor raven is well past its time....

faylen eventually comes in to talk to valko

he’s still a little terse with her because he still doesn’t trust her, but he apologizes for what he said because deep down he knows it wasn’t true

they try to figure out what’s up with the raven. faylen casts greater restoration on it to see if that’ll do anything, but it doesn’t do anything. 

she tries again to cast it on valko, but when she moves her hand closer to him, the bird freaks out and tries to stop her.

so she just keeps her hand reached out for valko to take

he very hesitantly does so (had to roll for it) and she casts it.

that half of valko’s soul was reunited with the half in his body and the poor raven dies....in the sewers....

faylen casts skywrite and makes the clouds form the symbol of the rebellion group to signify that their plan is to be put in motion very soon and for the people outside to send in two people (erd and thia) to meet up with team rood in the sewers

they hang out for a little bit, waiting for it to get really late, n then they go through the pipe that comes from the palace bath house to sneak in

they get in pretty easily and find the bath house empty because it’s late and because everyone is inside/somewhere safe while the guards deal with the threat of the gathering army at their walls

they clean themselves off a little bit because hoo boy they smell and they can’t get all the shit smell off them but they do the best they can

they hang out for another few hours before they have laucien cast seeming on all of them to make them look like guards before they start to make their move and get a layout of the palace district

the session ended with valko casting thaumaturgy on ovak to make her voice boom and she shouted “ONWARD TO FREEDOM!!!!!” to signal to their army outside the walls to start marching to the other gate and to begin their assault

(Y/N) was best friends with Michael Mell and Jeremy Heere pretty much her whole life.The trio met in second grade and remained friends ever since. (Y/N) was always there for them, no matter how it inconvenienced her. When Jeremy’s mother left, she went over to his house and hung out with him for a week straight.

Over the years, (Y/N) developed a crush on Jeremy. She thought it was just a quick thing that happened because she only spent time with two guys. Boy, was she wrong. After a few months, she realized that she was in love with Jeremy. According to Michael, she made it “painfully obvious,” yet Jeremy never noticed. She’d never admit it, but her heart broke when she noticed how Jeremy was falling for Christine.

When eleventh grade rolled around, things weren’t much different. The trio was still seen as ‘losers’ but Michael and (Y/N) didn’t really care. Jeremy did. Despite not being popular, guys noticed (Y/N). They noticed her beauty and tried flirting with her, but she’d turn them all down. Only one guy persisted, Rich Goranski. She’d repeatedly reject him, but he kept trying, partly to annoy Jeremy, partly because he thought she was beautiful.

One day after school, the trio was in Jeremy’s basement, playing video games like the nerds they were. Jeremy was telling them about his encounter with Rich in the bathroom. 

“I’m telling you, he’s scamming you,” (Y/N) said, passing Michael in Mario Cart. “Why would he suddenly want to help you, Jere? He’s made your life miserable.”

“Yeah, but what if he’s not?”

She sighed. “Then I don’t know what to tell you.” Her phone buzzed in her pocket. “Mom’s here. See you losers tomorrow!” (Y/N) tossed her controller in the basket and grabbed her bag before waving to the boys and walking out to her mom’s car. 

“Hey, sweetie!” her mom said when she flopped into the front seat. “How was school?” 

“Eh, it was school,” she shrugged. “I signed up for the scenery and tech crew for the play, though.”

The next day after Michael picked (Y/N) up for school, he told her about the boys’ adventure at Payless. She just shook her head.

“Did I or did I not tell him it was a scam?”

Michael laughed, “No, you warned him.”

Over the course of the day, (Y/N) noticed that Jeremy was ignoring her, something he’d never done. When she met up with Michael, she found out that Jeremy had been ignoring him too. They finally caught up with him after school, where they found out that that SQUIP did work.

“That’s awesome, Jere!” (Y/N) said, hugging the lanky teen. “We have to go celebrate!”

“Yeah, let’s get stoned in my basement!” Michael offered. Jeremy turned down the offer and blew them off yet again.

(Y/N) was tossing a tennis ball at her wall and catching it when she got a text from Jeremy.

Nerd #2: hey, you should come to jake’s halloween party

Loser: Jake who?

Nerd #2: jake dillinger. the football player?

She rolled her eyes and texted Michael.

Loser: Hey, Jeremy invite you to Jake Dillinger’s party?

Nerd #1: Yeah, why?

Loser: Because there’s no way in hell I’m going by myself with Jeremy and his girlfriend.

Nerd #1: good point

When the night of the party came, (Y/N) was pretty excited. She was going as Bonnie Parker and was very invested. She got a red wig and everything. She was putting the finishing touches on her costume when Michael beeped the horn.

“I’m coming, I’m coming!” She called, knowing he couldn’t hear her. She slipped the earrings in as she ran out to the PT Cruiser.

"Hey, you look good, (Y/N)," Michael said as she slipped into his car.

"Thanks. You ready to go?"

The party itself went by in a bit of a blur for (Y/N). She remembered getting there and having a red solo cup thrust into her hands and being pushed onto the makeshift dance floor, but that was about it. She was standing by the snack table, her cup still full, when she noticed Jeremy slinking off with a girl that was definitely not Brooke. Then she realized Michael was nowhere to be found.

Loser: Hey where are you?

Nerd #1: why?

Loser: MICHAEL

Nerd #1: bathroom.

(Y/N) made her way down the hall and knocked on the bathroom door. "Michael, it's me." The door opened and (Y/N) immediately noticed how red and puffy her friend's eyes were. "Oh, my god, what happened?"

"Can we just go?" he mumbled. "I'll tell you in the car."

(Y/N) clicked her tongue. "How drunk are you?"

"I had like three beers."

"Alright, give me your keys."

"What?"

"There's no way in hell I'm letting you drive, give me your keys."

Michael reluctantly handed (Y/N) his keys and the two walked out to his car. As she drove them home, Michael filled (Y/N) in on his chat in the bathroom with Jeremy.

"You know what that's it," she said. "We need to get that stupid computer out of his brain."

When the play finally rolled around, (Y/N) was up in the rafters controlling the lights. Scene one ended and she sighed, rubbing her face. She so did not want to be there, especially with how Jeremy had been acting. Unfortunately, she made the commitment and was determined to stick to it. She started helping Brooke into her next costume when she noticed Jeremy and Mr. Reyes acting weird. After a heated conversation with the teacher, Jeremy seemed to be arguing with himself.(Y/N) pulled her phone out of her pocket.

Loser: Michael get your ass back here shit's going down

Loser: Bring the mountain dew red

The stupid SQUIP, (Y/N) thought to herself. Then she noticed how Jeremy seemed to be warring with himself and struggling for his phone. Michael burst through the door as (Y/N) climbed down to the main stage.

"Michael!" Jeremy said.

"I was just in the audience thinking 'this is pretty good for a school play.' Then I was like 'this is way too good for a school play!' They've all been SQUIP-ed. right?" he asked (Y/N) and Jeremy.

"Wait, you came to see me in the play?" Jeremy asked.

"That's not important right now, Jere," (Y/N) said. "Hey, Jake," she called. "Tis is gonna sound super weird, but if Michael and I hold down Jeremy, can you make him drink the Mountain Dew Red?"

"Actually, that doesn't sound weird at all." After taking the bottle from Michael, he cried out in pain, dropping it and causing it to spill.

"God fucking damnit," (Y/N) whispered. The SQUIP continued to affect the rest of the cast until it reached Christine.

"You are the person I want to be with everyday," Christine began, "And this is something that I've been afraid to say."

"That is not Christine," Jeremy said, shaking his head.

"You're the guy I am so kinda into. The guy I am totally into. This feeling is new. Jeremy, I love you."

(Y/N) felt her eyes sting with tears as she saw Jeremy look at the SQUIP-ed Christine. She grabbed her bag from the hook by the stage door before throwing it open and storming out. She started walking home, heart broken and tears falling. When she finally reached her house all the way across town, she ignored her parents' worried comments as she barricaded herself in her room.

 "Where's (Y/N)?" Jeremy asked when he finally came to. "Wasn't she just here?"

"Oh, uh, about that," Michael said awkwardly. "She kind of left when Christine was telling you that she loved you."

"What? Why? Why did she- why did she leave?"

"That's not really my place to share, Jeremy. Go talk to her." Michael suggested. "You know, she's always been there for you. Always."

(Y/N) was throwing a tennis ball at her wall and catching it as it bounced back when she heard the doorbell ring. She sighed and got up to answer the door. When she saw Jeremy standing at the door with bags filled with her favorite foods and movies, she scrunched up her eyebrows.

"Jeremy? What are you doing? Why are you here?"

"I... I want to apologize for being such a massive jerk," he said.

(Y/N) crossed her arms before sighing. "Yeah, alright."

"What?"

"I can't stay mad at you."

"Wait, why not? You should be furious with me. I was awful to you."

She shrugged. "It wasn't you. It wasn't my Jeremy."

"Why are you so cool with this? Why are you just excusing everything?"

"Because you're my friend, Jeremy." She lightly punched his arm. "My best friend."

Jeremy chewed his lip. "Why did you leave?"

"What?"

"Why did you leave? You know, when the SQUIP was controlling Christine."

"I, uh, I don't-"

Jeremy took a step closer to her. "You can tell me, (Y/N)."

"No, I- I really can't." She took a step back.

"Why not?"

"Because it'll ruin everything and I'll lose you," she said. "And I can't lose you. I-I love you." (Y/N) slapped her hand over her mouth.

"Wait, you what?" His eyes widened as everything seemed to click into place. "Oh," he whispered.

"Yeah, 'oh.' That's why I didn't want you to know. Now our whole friendship is going to be ruined and-"

She was cut off by a pair of lips pressed against her own. Jeremy's hands cupped her cheeks as he kissed her. When he pulled back, he looked at her. "Nothing's ruined, (Y/N). I think I might love you, too."

as we head into this (american) thanksgiving, a lot of us are gonna be dealing with some Grade A Bullshit: retail work, bigoted relatives, etc. i wasn’t actually gonna do this originally, but then i realized what holiday was coming up right around the time of my blogiversary and i was like... welp. alright. guess we’re doing this then. things lined up too perfectly NOT to, and things can be kinda shitty for people around this time of year, so let’s put a little positivity back into the community! or something like that.

@ultimatetalentless have i talked about how much i love sin’s hinut lately? his and nanami’s friendship/rivalry (and his and chibot’s unresolved romantic tension) is so much fun to write and it’s so great having an Angst Partner to shoot terrible ideas at. on top of that i love talking to sin out of character and sharing some of the things we come across that remind each other of our muses. 

@mideoku​ julie followed me and the following day, snakes started manifesting physically in my house. i get no peace from them. they follow me home every day and beat me down with a two by four while yelling down with cis. but if we’re being real here julie’s shitposting lights up my dashboard every day for better or worse and theyre actually a really cool person. we’ll fight in pokemon when u catch up to me binch

@nullverum​ boss was like one of the first ndrv3 blogs i interacted with long before the game had its official english release. i remember i made a post a while before saying that i thought ouma/nami would be a strange but cute brotp and hell! i was absolutely right in every way. its even funnier upon finding out ou/ma kind of plays the na/nami role just as much as the ko/maeda role in actuality (he’s gotta do both since a CERTAIN SOMEONE gets fridged at the beginning), so they’re surprisingly good (bad, actually) for each other. 

@ayatsurii sparkle’s peko is great ok? best sword girlfriend, would shower her in love and affection and cute things. nanami apparently has a thing for taller, stoic individuals with red eyes who could kick her ass one-handed. (don’t we all tho??) ahem. anyway. would recommend sparkle’s pekpek.
