It was not a decision that she had a choice in. Nor really did he.

But this was ‘for the better’ of both of their nations. Simply & firmly, it was not a decision they could argue, though both of them would surely have their own issues.

He did not want to be a part of a ruling family of a country that was borderline ready to fall apart... yet it also gave rise to much opportunity. He will make due... he has too.

The Ixoran Emperor had pulled out lucky. He originally wanted to seal a marriage for his eldest son, however, given the terrible state of the Empire, it was... difficult. Yet, someone the Prince of Ying’s family had taken interest, & it was not something that could be passed up. And while, Shi certainly wouldn’t be marrying his son to another man, such a relationship would be looked at harshly, instead, he looked to his daughters. Meihui would raise a fuzz about it, as would Fengji... but Hanako, oh the quiet & gentle 2nd Princess.

It was going to be, they would meet & it would be. The 2nd Imperial Princess Hanako, & The Divine Prince of Ying Slane, a prefect couple to seal the ties between Ixora & Camellia, a well-off Kingdom to support the crumbling Empire, prefect.

The Crowned 1st Imperial Zhangzi Prince, Yuhan Fukuyama, Prince of the Blood & the First Rank, Heir to the Ixora Empire’s Throne.

The first born child of the Ixora Imperial Family, also simply called The Imperial Heir Zhangzi, or the Imperial Prince, he is the elder brother of Gulun Princess Meihui, & Heshuo Princess Hanako. He is the only child of the Huáng Hòu(Empress) Koyo Moyo.

Heavily favored by his father, the Huáng Shàng(Emperor) Shi, he was made to study long & train hard, to become the prefect image of an imperial heir, one who was smart, proud, & strong. One who would be truly worthy to become the future Emperor of the empire. Very well educated, cunning, a master in swordsmanship & horse-back combat, ‘Yu’ is the apple of his father’s eye, which has earned him the ire of the Ixoran people; who see him & his father as symbols of their oppression. Though, Yuhan is seen as very different from his lazy, over-indulging father, as he is resourceful, dutiful & worries for the Empire’s people, often trying to perform his father’s imperial duties, but is very limited to do so. 

Yuhan is also considered to be an extremely handsome youth, & possibly one of the most handsome men of the time. His father also often tries to arrange a marriage for him, but those efforts are usually quickly dashed, as Yuhan has no interest in marriage given the dangerous situation of the country.

Yuhan typically quite stressed due to his position & the dislike for him among the corrupt nobles & people, as he tries to keep the country together. Due to this, he often attempts to relax whenever he can, whether by himself, with his family, or through his father’s many banquets & parties. This need for relaxion, is what makes his bond with his two sisters, Meihui & Hanako, so strong, as he usually enjoys listening to their songs for comfort. Though, their relationship is always filled with drama, due to the Empress’s dislike for the girls’ mother, the Huáng Guì Fēi(Imperial Noble Consort), Xiang Akemi.
