Ajax has always been so much to her. Her friend, companion, safe place… The world felt right when she was with him. Jezilia grew up being nothing more than a weapon for someone else to wield, but with him, she was just a normal girl. It didn’t seem like much, but to her, it was worth more than anything in the world. He saw her as Lia rather than Jezilia, the weapon her father was creating. 

Ajax had always been there for her, and now, he suddenly understood her. She didn’t know what changed in him to suddenly be as bloodthirsty as she was, and she did mourn the boy he once was, but now...things were different. Whereas before his presence simply made her happy, there was something else there now. Whenever they crossed paths within the Fatui, her attention was always driven to him--and not simply because he was her friend and she knew him. Something ignited in her chest when she saw him in action...And even when they were simply spending time together, there was a tightness, a warmth, that wasn’t there before.

“You’d be the only one...” the teen replied with a soft chuckle. It was getting harder and harder for her to put up with her father. As Ajax said, her father found her intolerable... Everyone did, for that matter, but she didn’t care. She didn’t give a damn about how any of them felt about her. All that mattered was... She looked back at Ajax. “...I tolerate you too.” After all, many thought the redhead to be intolerable as well. “We can tolerate each other when no one else will...” Lia extended her pinky to him. “...promise?”

A giggle escaped Kira’s lips before the woman smiled up at her lover. The pharmacy required quite a bit of attention, but Qiqi and Gui were both quite skilled in managing it. That meant any time Baizhu wasn’t needed for a more unusual case, he was free to spend time with Kira--that is, if she could manage to pull him away from his work for that long. This time Kira was lucky, though. He was all hers for now.

“Then I guess I’ll just have to keep kissing you, just to make sure you never stop loving me~” Kira teased with a giggle, her arms draped over Baizhu’s shoulders and around his neck as her lips brushed against his with every word. She enjoyed these quiet moments with him where they could simply be together without any interruptions. Unless, of course, Gui or Qiqi came in because they needed Baizhu for something...but Kira secretly hoped that wouldn’t happen. Maybe she was just feeling a little selfish with his attention. 

She decided to send the thought away with another kiss placed to his lips.

There was a line between the work self and the personal self, and it was a line Kira didn’t want anyone to cross. Kira wasn’t part of the Fatui because she felt some undying loyalty to Snezhnaya--though she was still loyal to this nation and its Archon. No, the main reason she was part of this army was to get stronger. Just as she was helping them, they were helping her, and that’s what’s important. Being too personal was crossing the borders between work and what was personal...and Kira was afraid of those lines getting too blurred.

So what was he asking of her? Was he speaking as her superior, or as a simple man? Show him her thorns... Did he want her to be open, to simply be herself rather than act as the silent yet deadly assassin she was? And his hands, ready to bleed... Could she really trust that he would be so accepting of her being herself without the veil of compliance? Could she really speak her mind in front of her superior and trust that he wouldn’t cause her harm because of it.?? Kira couldn’t trust anyone, but maybe...maybe he was different...or maybe she was a fool.

“You say that as if you’re putting me as important... Important enough to subdue you.” Like she had the key, and though her thorns may cause wounds, he was willing to bleed for her. People don’t do those sort of things... Not in Kira’s experience. His words sounded too akin to something like love, and Kira knew better than to believe such a thing existed...right? Turquoise hues finally glanced up at him, hesitance written clearly on her face. “If I were to be myself, without any differing statuses between us...how can I know you won’t turn against me?” Everyone turned against you when given the chance and incentive...

Kira’s Birthday!! (11/03/2022)—No Longer Accepting

The idea of being presented this type of cake with candles adorned, all while having someone sing a song to commemorate her birthday, seemed to very much be a Mondstadt tradition. Kira didn’t know the customs of Inazuma that well, but she wondered if it was different, and if so, how different. Regardless, this was still a lovely taste of home. It actually made her a bit homesick, in a way, since this was the first birthday she had without being with her father...

“This looks wonderful, Thoma!!” There was no doubt in her mind that her lover could cook better than her. And better at cleaning, too. Actually...he was far better than her at pretty much any household task. And, apparently, better about celebrating someone’s birthday as well. She wouldn’t have done anything special on her own, after all. 

Kira smiled as she leaned against him as well, nuzzling the side of her face against his own. “Honestly..? I do miss home. I haven’t spent any birthdays without my father before... But going back to Mondstadt wouldn’t solve that. He isn’t there anyway. Besides, I truly would much rather spend the day with you,” she said as she placed a kiss to Thoma’s cheek. When he mentioned something special, Kira sat up straight and looked at him with a confused expression. “Outside in the evening..? What for?” Well, now that she thought about it, she had a few ideas as to what he may have bought... She giggled softly in excitement. “I can’t wait to see what it is!!”

A rare moment of the Fatuus between missions, Kira observed the mask in her hand. She appeared to be lost in thought... Well, it’s a moment to relax before the Harbingers sent her on another journey, so she would take it.

Kira couldn’t believe it… A ticket to adventure, a chance to see the world outside of her home land… It took over twenty years, but she had a chance. An opportunity to see what lied beyond the winds of Mondstadt. And what could be further away from everything she knew than Inazuma, which was separated by a whole ocean from Mondstadt?? This was her chance to learn more about other nations and to experience a whole different world than the one she was used to. What more could she possibly ask for..??

But this would mean leaving behind all she knew, all her friends, everything. Could she really just pack up and leave..?? Kira had work, friends, a life there in Mondstadt… Was it really okay to suddenly go on a whim?? Besides, Kira didn’t know when she would return, nor what could happen while she was gone. What if her father came back home and she didn’t even realize it.?? No, that wouldn’t happen. He’s been gone for this long, and Kira wasn’t going to pass up this chance simply because she didn’t want to miss a man who likely wasn’t coming home any time soon anyway. Besides, in that case she could always see him when she returned.

As Kira returned the kiss, she decided what she will do. It was with certain gaze and tone that she responded. “Yes, I’ll come too.” Ruby lips then curled into a smile as she wrapped her arms around Kazuha’s form. “Thank you so much… This is the opportunity of a lifetime!! I don’t think I have ever received such a wonderful birthday gift…” She pulled away just enough to see him and smile at her beloved. “I want to see all of Inazuma with you…” She wanted to see the whole world with him.

It was…beautiful… Kira had never seen a flower like this in her life. True, she has seen blossoms like these in the Traveler’s hair, but she just assumed those were simply hair ornaments and were fake. Now that she had a version of that plant here in her hand, she realized they were real. This was incredible… Kira wanted to see more of these, but where could she possibly find then..?? Where was Albedo from anyway?? “Inteyvat… Is that where the name Teyvat comes from.?? Or were the flowers named after our world??”

Starred, turquoise hues looked back up at the blond alchemist before her. “Is it really alright for me to take these..?? If your home is far away, it must be very hard to get these flowers…” How did he get them anyway..?? “Does that mean the Traveler is from where you’re from?” No, that couldn’t be right—the traveler was from a different world. Maybe she picked up those flowers from her travels? Maybe Kira could ask her one day.

The young woman decided to spare her lover any more questions, determining she could save them for another time. Instead, she tucked the blossom into her hair and smiled. “Thank you, Albedo… This is so wonderful. I love it.!!” She giggled happily and pressed a chaste kiss to his lips. “A feast you said..?? That’s a bit much just for me, but I’m grateful~ Let’s not keep them waiting.!!”

Kira’s Birthday!! (11/03/2022)—No Longer Accepting

In all honesty, she wasn’t entirely sure if this was a birthday gift or if this was instructions on how to be more helpful around here. Kira wasn’t really a forest ranger, but she has spent all her time lately here in Gandharva Ville helping around and doing the duties of a forest ranger, so perhaps Tighnari was giving her all of these things to prepare her to be of better assistance. He was always rather serious, not to mention snarky...but Kira actually loved that about him. Well, if it was a gift or not, she was thankful all the same. She wanted to learn as much as she could, after all.

“You made this..??” Kira inquired as she picked up the incense burner and looked at it closer. It looked very well made, much like a gift would. Perhaps this was a gift in disguise... She wouldn’t think too much about it. No matter what it was, she was happy. 

“Thank you.!! I’ll be sure to read all of these. Perhaps learning more about the flora here will help me be of better assistance around here.” She wanted to help, after all, and especially if that allowed her to learn more about a new part of Teyvat. “And this incense burner is lovely! But... I don’t entirely know how to use it...” They didn’t have things like this in Mondstadt. Kira giggled softly and smiled. “Maybe you could show me how it works?”

Open starter for Genshin Kira~

There was so much to look at and learn about here in Sumeru, and while that fueled Kira’s desire to learn, going to the main cities--where much of this knowledge could be found--was rather...taxing for her. She didn’t like the Akasha terminals, nor the looks she got when she wasn’t wearing one. She didn’t like how the scholars looked at everyone else as if they were nobles or aristocrats looking at the general public like dirt. So, she stayed in the forest for the most part. 

“What...??” She froze and looked before her at the patch of greenery a little ways away. The area looked cloudy with fog, despite the fact that there was no fog where Kira stood, and the plants...they looked like they were decaying... What was happening.?? She hasn’t been in Sumeru for very long at all and had yet to come across something like this. Her vision glowed upon her chest, as if warning her against proceeding. What was happening to the forest..??

Kira sat under the shade of a tree, writing diligently in a journal in her hands. She appeared to be glancing up every now and then, either evaluating her surroundings or deep in thought about something before quickly going back to the book and writing whatever it was back down.

This feeling… It drew her in just as much as it concerned her. Kira had been to Liyue many times but had never gone anywhere near The Chasm. She had no reason to, after all. But standing here, enveloped by the darkness…and yet with the ever so distant feeling of desire to go deeper. Was this merely her adventurous spirit wishing to explore this new area? Or…was it something more..?

“Are you sure we’re allowed down here..?” Something felt wrong about this. There were multiple Hilichurl camps down here, but they were all abandoned. Part of her wished to leave, but she found herself still intrigued. What a strange sensation…

Sexual Tension—No Longer Accepting

What was his plan? Kaeya always had a plan present, though his thought process was seldom ever shared to those around him. He kept his cards close to his chest without even the smallest hint of what he had planned, and despite how close Kira was to him, she still couldn’t quite read the man. People were often predictable to her, but not Kaeya. The only thing she could do now was follow him as he tugged her away from the party guests.

There was some sort of get-together at the Dawn Winery, Kira being here due to her adoptive father. Even after all of these years, she still felt like she didn’t quite belong in upper class situations...but she didn’t complain. This was for her father, after all. But this whole time, she was concerned for Kaeya. She knew he would be here, and she was vaguely aware of the tense relationship he had with his adoptive brother. Coming here couldn’t be easy for him, right.? So, she sought him out to make sure he was alright, and almost immediately after finding him did he pull her away from the crowd.

“Where are you taking me.??” she inquired through hushed giggles as she quickly followed behind Kaeya. He led her to a private room away from the party--of course he would know where to go, he lived here for quite some time. Kira stepped inside and raised a brow at the bluenette. “Alright... What now~?” Despite her coyly amused smile, she could feel her cheeks warming. He wanted some alone time with her... Unless, he was actively trying to show her something, that could only mean one thing.
