???—No Longer Accepting

A giggle escaped Kira’s lips before the woman smiled up at her lover. The pharmacy required quite a bit of attention, but Qiqi and Gui were both quite skilled in managing it. That meant any time Baizhu wasn’t needed for a more unusual case, he was free to spend time with Kira--that is, if she could manage to pull him away from his work for that long. This time Kira was lucky, though. He was all hers for now.

“Then I guess I’ll just have to keep kissing you, just to make sure you never stop loving me~” Kira teased with a giggle, her arms draped over Baizhu’s shoulders and around his neck as her lips brushed against his with every word. She enjoyed these quiet moments with him where they could simply be together without any interruptions. Unless, of course, Gui or Qiqi came in because they needed Baizhu for something...but Kira secretly hoped that wouldn’t happen. Maybe she was just feeling a little selfish with his attention. 

She decided to send the thought away with another kiss placed to his lips.

I know it's not much but, I can make it up to you later." He turned to Qiqi now. "Did you remember the card you made?" The zombie nodded, pulling a folded piece of paper out of her hat and handing it to the other. "Happy Brthday. Qiqi drew it!"

Kira’s Birthday!! (11/03/2022)—No Longer Accepting

Kira didn’t want some extravagant something for her birthday. She didn’t need a big celebration, when in actuality she wasn’t that much of something to celebrate. She was just Kira… And she was overjoyed to simply have someone acknowledge the day of her birth. Anything to much more than that was rather exhausting, so this was perfect.

“No, it’s perfect,” she reassured him as she gently took his hand in her own and gave the palm a loving squeeze. She didn’t spend much time outside, mostly due to the fact that she didn’t quite enjoy the sun’s heat. But this was a nicely shaded picnic area with a gentle breeze that reminded her of home. It was lovely here...  And what could be better than spending this time with two of her favorite people. “Thank you... This is all so sweet and wonderful.”

Turquoise hues widened as the zombie child presented her with a folded piece of paper. “What’s this.??” Kira inquired with a smile as she accepted the card. The woman opened it up and smiled at the contents. What a sweet drawing... And an even sweeter message. “Aww... Thank you so much, Qiqi~” she said as she gave the girl a warm hug.

Bed & Sleepy—No Longer Accepting

It was odd waking up with someone else at her side, but she really did like it. Kira grew up alone. True, she did have Varka taking her in and becoming her father, but she still spent most of her time alone. She liked the quiet. Even so, Kira couldn’t deny that she longed for companionship. She always has. And now that she had someone, she never wanted to be all alone again. Was that contributing to her early morning clinginess, as Baizhu put it? Kira doubted it.

She just liked cuddles, especially when she was sleep-ridden. Was that a bad thing..?? Kira found that she was quite affectionate when she had a romantic partner, and perhaps that only grew when she was still sleepy and too tired to be sharp and witty. She didn’t know. She was too tired right now to think about such things.

“Shushhh~…. Just let me kiss you, m’kay?” she sleepily mumbled out as she moved to hug him, lifting her head to place a kiss to his cheek and then lips. Kira liked the contact, gentle and caring rather than harsh and painful… Plus, feeling him reminded her that this was real. He wasn’t just a dream. Her lips curled into a sleepy smile as she snuggled closer to him. “Better~…” Now she could perhaps go back to sleep, at least for a bit…

Scar Prompts—No Longer Accepting

“It’s alright, they... They don’t hurt anymore.” The air felt so thick that not even her blades of ice could cut through it. Emotions and fragments of her past laid out on the table for him to see, scars of all shapes and sizes strewn across her back. Why did she think this was a good idea..?? She really, really liked Baizhu. More than anyone else she had ever met. Kira wanted to be open with him about all she knew about herself, but in doing so she had to expose herself and her past trauma. 

She told herself that he would figure it out sooner or later if they kept going down the path they were on... It was better to show this to him now as opposed to a more heated situation where this revelation would surely ruin the mood. And she didn’t know why she was so scared of showing him her scars. Kira worked so hard all of her life with Varka to move past the trauma she experienced as a child. She came so far and distanced herself entirely from that past, being the best version of herself that she could be. She supposed she feared showing him this side of her and having him not like the real Kira, past and present mashed together into one broken mess.

Kira swallowed, tightly holding the fabric of the torso of her dress close to her chest. “I just...thought I should show you. Now you know every part of me...the good parts that I put on display for everyone, and...the bad parts that I don’t let anyone see...” She just prayed that this didn’t change anything.
