"Wouldn't that be nice..." Cyno's words were rhetorical to the point of losing any questioning inflection. He didn't doubt for a second the Fatui's memory worked well enough to remember him. Nor did he believe Dottore genuinely hoped to convince him otherwise.

This was mere teasing, like a bored cat playing with prey.

"Found something more interesting to entertain yourself with?" He asked from the other side of the cage. "Or were you simply frustrated that you weren't getting your expected results from keeping me in here? I didn't take you for a quitter."

Miran sat on the ground of a cold-looking building. Her eyes observed her own surroundings for the third time as to figure out where she currently was and who the other female in front of her could be. But her masked eyes made it difficult to decipher and she couldn’t remember ever having met somebody as her. Though her looks were cute, Miran had the feeling like there was something more sinister or cold surrounding them.

The air definitely felt different from Mondstadt, but this could also not be Inazuma.

“Home…”, she repeated the word and knitted her eyebrows into a soft frown of confusion, “...miss. Could it be that you mistake me for someone else? Wherever we are, I fear I have to tell you that I have never lived here.”

"Generally they are...When the vista isn't somehow uncomfortably false. I don't mind looking at a painting of the night sky or the vast reaches of the space that makes it, but it's too static for my liking." Even if the world of Teyvat had a lot of beautiful sights, the sky always made Charlotte feel the most uncomfortable. She knew it was closed off, and it bothered her to look up at it too long.

"...Do you have an interest in the stars? In Astrology?" She couldn't remember if astrology was a study or not in Teyvat, so she knew asking it might be a gamble. Still, she felt it was better to make some conversation here.

She did like talking about the stars, after all.

🌀 - have a concerned father

Lyney was trying his best to hide the deep gash across his back that wrapped halfway around his lower abdomen as he had some bandages on it but the crimson red was still threating to flow out, he managed to tighten that part and keep it hidden under his cape and inner shirt but it was still causing him great pain but he would have to tolerate it as he soon heard Father's voice.

He slowly turns around before speaking, trying to look at the one who took him and Lynette into the House of the Hearth.

"Hello Father, how is everything faring for you? Any new missions for me, Lynette and Freminet that you need taken care of?"

"I don't see why not - it's a pleasant change of pace." and given the year they'd had, they could definitely use some peace, that was for sure; and given the heavy Milelith presence, and the ever watchful eyes of the adepti, as well as one who hid in plain sight, there was at least a slight chance they would have about as stress free festive period as anyone else.

"Considering how...eventful things have been, I think a few weeks of blissful mediocrity sounds lovely."

"... I believe you. You look like the kind of guy who'd enjoy doing that, too." Cyno made no promise he'd respect that threat, but acknowledged it. For the time being, he did not plan to make an attempt to break out. Not after everything he'd seen in this place.

He was in the snake's nest, and if given the opportunity, he'd see it eradicated.

It was nice to be free of his bindings for the moment, though whether he'd still feel this way in the next hour depended on whatever the Fatui was planning to do with him.

"Where I come from, doctors are supposed to make an oath to not inflict torment and pain. I guess that might be one reason why you left... Zandik."

This had been the first time that she used her vision against an actual human. The golden-framed marble shone in a turquoise light and both her foxed, made of her anemo-energy, stood right and left to her, ready in order to attack and her usual gentle expressions were exchange with scorn and hatred towards the male in front of her, whose lies were as clear as day.

The blonde clenched her hands into fists. No matter what would happen, she would not turn her back to him, she would fight him - in order to save her little sister from his grasp. 

This was her fight.

“Sir, don't you call my sister one of your subjects!”, she grimaced about the last word and her heart paced quickly in anxiety. It was the panic that caused her to charge an attack against the man - the taller one of the foxes sprinted at him, “I know that you have her! Give her back to me!”.

"And you never can quite see the shadows that hide in the light without risking going blind." Charlotte was treating him with a clear measure of caution. She was well aware enough who he was, and the events in Sumeru he had a hand in.

"So, can I help you?" Her tone was less than enthused, as she checked over the satchel holding herbs and flowers she had just recently harvested. She was really wanting to get these processed for drying sooner rather than later.

Oh, why did this guy have to be around? In some sort and forms, Sehun was reminded of some sort of little, lost puppy. One, that could be bearable for at least one moment - and then be the most annoying of them all. Right now, he was latter.

“Ah, are you worried about me? Thank you so much for that! How truly nice of you.”, a wrong smile was plastered on his lips, “I absolutely do think before  I speak, yes. Why? You want me to teach you?”. His expression stayed, however, in his eyes it was clear that his question was meant tomock the other male.

“We can even start with it right now. How about you just call me from now on your ‘teacher’.”.

Lumine immediately backpaddled and removed her arm from the doctor's reach quickly. "Don't touch me...! What even is this? That needle is huge!! Nah, no way, get this thing away from me! I-I don't need any help! This is way too suspicious!", she insisted and continued to take some steps back.

She had never seen purple grass like this before - in paintings, sure, but never in real life; she moved through it, about to call for her brother only to find to her confusion that he was no where in sight - and it wasn’t just him either.

Where was her family? In the distance there was a building…maybe they’d gone inside? It didn’t look familiar, but she’d fallen asleep plenty of times before and woken in strange places…just, not without at least her brother or sister sleeping next to her.

Still, it was a place to start, and she hurried over to the hut, reaching out and tapping on the door with a small hand, calling out delicately, “H-Hallo? Mutti? Vati? …are jou zhere?”
