New Muses Inbound: South Quadrant of Sol-Lago!
Meet Scallia: Scallia is the Empress of her planet of Saiyans, who live in a Dynasty-like cultural hierarchy. Scallia, given her culture, acts rather strict, when it comes to following traditions and the guidelines of her planet's people; leaving little room for error or exception. However, despite her strict nature, she keeps a humane perspective on how she rules, and offers forgiveness when applicable. Despite her serious and strict demeanor, however, she has a softer side, and gets rather flustered and embarrassed when that softer side slips out.
Tumblr media
Meet Lucoru: Lucoru is the Elder of the Farmer sect of Namekians. Like other Female Namekians in the Sol-Lago universe, her skin is a lighter hue, compared to her male counterparts. A bit more rough and tumble compared to the other Namekian Elders, Lucoru is more readily welcoming of strangers to her planet, and takes great pride in helping the other Farmer sect of Namekians do their duties.
Tumblr media
Meet Quinoa: Quinoa is the Ruler of the Vegetarian planet of Majins. While his figure is more feminine, Quinoa is male, and often boasts about his figure. Quinoa is known to be easily squeamish, and has a tendency to feel disgust towards anything even remotely unappealing, such as flatulence, meat, or the appearance of others; making him relentlessly judgmental, though he tries to hide just how judgmental he can truly be. Self-absorbed to a degree, Quinoa is still capable of kindness, though it's only if he compares the person he's complimenting to himself.
Tumblr media
Meet Gelid: Gelid is the Leader / Ruler of the skeptical religious sect of Arcosians. Gelid, who has found a form beyond the traditional "Final Form" of the Arcosian race, is a scrutinizing woman and leader, while also remaining steadfast in her ideologies about the supposed Arcosian deity: Celcios. Where others see a fellow Arcosian, any sightings of Celcios has led Gelid to believe that, because of a more serpent-like appearance, Celcios is not Arcosian at all; believing them to be something else altogether. Standoffish for reasons that Gelid doesn't openly speak of, even the other rulers of the South Quadrant of Sol-Lago feel her closed-off presence, whenever a council is held between the four of them.

Despite Tater's efforts to ease the palpable tension with her hand against Torno's arm, the very idea of taking his eyes off of the younger Saiyan was almost insulting, or an admittance of defeat, even if it was over the matter of eye contact. Still, a slight twitch of his arm would be all that he could give to the Little Rabbit, to convey his appreciation for the attempt. Though, as the Lagomorph and her friends left the arena, the furrowed brows of the Mighty Saiyan lessened in intensity, at least slightly, while Shuen seemed all too optimistic and giddy about the whole ordeal.
Not much time would be given to focus on that matter, however, as the Royals regrouped with Earth's Representative and her renowned companions, likely to see them off, and offer sincere farewells and well wishes. All but Opart seemed to be in good spirits, as one could imagine that the impending showdown between Lirocco and Hakkona had the rather timid King a bit on-edge; the other Royals, otherwise, having thoroughly enjoyed the festival, as well as getting to show Tater a good time, in spite of the situation that sparked their meeting in the first place. Clearing her throat, though, Empress Scallia would step forward, to offer a conversation with the Little Rabbit, Mighty Saiyan and Paradox Saiyan, as a means to further defuse tension, and perhaps extend the proverbial olive branch, to form a further bond.
"We hope that you've enjoyed yourself, Tater. With a few citizens of each of our sects having vocalized a yearning for traveling, I do think a sort of system of communication should be established between all of us, so that you, Shuen and Torno will be aware of any potential Saiyans wishing to come to Earth." Given that the Rulers traveled long distances via Saiyans with teleportation as their adaptive genetic-related ability, it likely wouldn't be hard to keep in touch, though other means were certainly available. "Scouters, long-distance telepaths, or whatever is the most convenient should work fine, but with how things are left out of our hands, and unfortunately left for you to handle, I feel that it's only right that we offer something."
Paragu had already made that point, but Scallia seemed to want to take a step towards making some sort of relationship possible, between the Royals and their newfound ally from Earth; Torno and Shuen, themselves, already having been allies with their own kind, while living on Earth. "I do hope things work out so that we can all, perhaps, share time together under better circumstances." With that said, farewells would be exchanged between the Saiyan Rulers and Tater with her companions, before the trio likely began embarking for their ship. Before they could board, though, arms would quickly wrap around Tater, as the violet-haired heiress scrambled to catch up with them!
"Please tell me that I can come with you! I'll understand if I can't, but... It'd be really nice!" Llumia couldn't help herself, as she eagerly awaited Tater's answer, while boarding would likely begin thereafter. She was rather affectionate with the Lagomorph, though even the Hero of Hope and Royal Commander couldn't blame her for it. The investigation was coming to a close, and there was much to prepare for, as a sense of peace had yet to truly return.
For Tater, the play was both entertaining and informative, while it served as more of a history lesson, to her companions and those less familiar with the history of their own kind, as the performance, itself, dramatized distinct eras and moments in the history of the Saiyans, as well as how ideologies divided the warrior race across the universe, yet somehow still allowed them to coexist. A few scoffs would be given by the rulers, as well as Torno and Shuen, as some portrayals of their respective ancestors seemed to be hyperbole, if not overly dramatized based on a singular trait. Still, even the Royals, themselves, were laughing at a few key points.
Time would seem to pass so quickly, as everyone in attendance finished their meals, and the play, despite its actual length, ended so soon, as if the actors were only on stage for a mere few minutes; the Lagomorph's seat with her renowned friends and the four Royals being nothing more than a fact, and nothing that anyone particularly questioned. As far as anyone else was concerned, her representation of all four sects and their cultures, as well as being in well-regarded company, earned her a more normal stay at the event. Seeing the joy on their friend's face would, on top of their own genuine enjoyment, cause Tater's two Saiyan companions to offer a smile, as others began to work their way towards the arena; the finals getting underway shortly, once all of the rulers had arrived and taken their rightful seats in a reserved area.
Once the stadium was packed, once again there would be reserved seats for Earth's Representative, and her renowned allies, as the Royals seemed to want to give the Little Rabbit some sort of compensation, for the grief that the malevolent trio had caused her and her friends; whispers of who the finalists were happening to leave the lips of a few spectators that Tater, Torno and Shuen would pass, until everyone was where they needed to be. A wave of Opart's hand would allow the fighters to reveal themselves, and step foot into the massive arena's battleground, while one of the contestants looked... Familiar.
Red hair was styled into a ponytail, atop the head of a rather muscular, mean-looking Saiyan, as Lirocco snarled and glared directly at his opposition; his placement in the finals drawing an audible groan from the Mighty Saiyan and the Hero of Hope, as their previous encounter left them both in a state of slight disgust for his very beliefs. Regardless, the battle would commence, and for several tense, unpredictable minutes, the conflict between Lirocco and his unfamiliar foe would have every Saiyan in attendance, regardless of their sect, standing on their feet, and cheering louder than the crowd in Chylli's coliseum, that Tater and her friends were near just a few days ago!
Finally, the nearing finale of the battle would see Lirocco gain an increasingly startling upper hand, until his larger opposition was knocked out; leaving the redheaded Saiyan to celebrate for a few moments, as he raised his arms in victory. Though, when his gaze trailed towards the Royals, and Tater and her friends in attendance, a sickening, almost arrogant smirk etched itself onto his features, as his oculars stuck solely to Torno; a throat-slashing gesture capturing the attention of not only the Royals near the Mighty Saiyan, but the entire crowd in attendance as well. In that moment, alone, the very furrowing of Torno's brow in controlled frustration and ire would somehow cause the very air around him and those near him to become heavy; a thickness of tension nearly choking Paragu, the largest Royal among the four, while the Paradox Saiyan could only manage a chortle of amusement.
Lirocco was making it publicly known, without saying a word, that he was soon about to take on Torno's own progeny, and possibly dethrone that Royal Family; mere speculation and rumor only fueling the conclusions that anyone came to, about a single gesture made to someone that was known by all.

Once the Little Rabbit had finally managed to begin her process of healing her dear friend's opposition, and while the interview between Hakkona and King Opart had begun, it would take a few more moments until the Rebel began to regain his consciousness; pained groans preceding his eyes slowly opening, and falling upon the Lagomorph's form. Between being rendered knocked out and reawakening, only a minute or two had passed, but for him... It felt like only a few seconds had passed. From how he awoke, though, he quickly pieced together what had happened; a frown etching itself on his features for a moment.
"You're that Earth girl from before, aren't you?" When he spoke condescendingly before, and never really talked to Tater prior to this moment, his tone seemed almost... Humble, and devoid of arrogance. Even if the Lagomorph was paying attention to the ongoing interview between the Buff Gal and the King, Lirocco still decided to speak to the woman healing him. "I don't know what good healing me is going to do, if King Opart or Hakkona decide to imprison me for attempted treason, but thanks... I guess." Unaware of why Tater was even helping him to begin with, it seemed as though he had a ways to go, before his mental faculties were fully recovered from being knocked out by Hakkona... Even if the decisive blow wasn't a shot to the head.
The Would-Have-Been Usurper would silence himself, however, as even he seemed curious about the interview's topic, once a question had been posed to the Heiress, while anything Tater said to him could've likely been addressed after the fact. Lirocco wore a look of disappointment, shock and concern mixed together as he woke up more, while his gaze shifted from the Little Rabbit to Hakkona. As for Hakkona...
The Daughter of Torno needed only a second or two more, to consider her answer, as her gaze noticeably shifted from her uncle, to the other Royals in attendance; eventually coming to settle upon Tater and Lirocco for just a moment, before then looking back to her uncle. Hakkona would bring her forearm to her face, and wipe the blood from just above her upper lip, before casually spitting out what bit of blood was still filling her mouth after such a hard-hitting battle. Sure, royalty was expected to conduct themselves professionally, but this was her moment. The Buff Gal almost seemed to purposefully set herself apart from her royal lineage, if not to drive the point home that she was special, and damn proud of it.
"Fuck the critics."
Paragu, Scallia and Chylli had their share of immediate reactions to the rather crass, albeit deserved statement, as the Chief and Empress seemed to crack a smile each, while Scallia cheered rather proudly for the Mighty Saiyaness. Chylli, meanwhile, pursed her lips and offered a nod of acknowledgement, as she privately owned up to what she'd said at the start of the emergency council that allowed Tater to meet the Royals in the first place. Even if it was a jest, it was still critical about Hakkona. The crowd, meanwhile, almost erupted into cheers and applause again; keeping themselves under control, as Opart had requested. Even he couldn't help but grin, though he certainly wasn't expecting that answer!
The Rebel, on the other hand, averted his gaze from the Buff Gal, and instead focused on the Lagomorph again. He was aware that she didn't like him, and yet there she was... Tending to his injuries. "So... Before they decide my fate, be honest. What does an outsider like you think I deserve, after everything I tried to do? I can't imagine they'd make it a public display or announce it, so I guess I'm just... Coming to terms with the idea that this might be my last few minutes of freedom." And yet... Lirocco sounded like he wasn't going to fight against such an idea.
Even as she could just barely hear the sounds of the Little Rabbit's feet swiftly approaching, beneath the sounds of applause and cheers from the spectators in attendance, the Heiress's gaze was so slow to shift towards the direction of where her finger had previously been pointing; Hakkona's frame of mind rather unstable, as she tried to register just what she'd done, and what was real around her. Having to see a manifestation of Ghost again, and next to Lirocco... It made her feel something that she couldn't quite put into words.
Though, the feeling of blood still filling her mouth, albeit less than before, and the slowing of her bloody nose's outpour of the same bodily fluid, would keep her grounded enough in reality to not outright lose herself in her thoughts. Little, soft hands from a familiar face would come to take the Buff Gal's own face between themselves, while a soft sway of Hakkona's tail would initially indicate that she was happy to see Tater... Even if she needed a moment to come down from the adrenaline running through her entire body. "Sure did, Tater!" Thankfully, she wasn't swallowing mouthfuls of her own blood to sound too slurred in her speech, or otherwise in poor condition, but it was obvious that Torno's daughter could've been better.
When asked to show the Lagomorph where she was hurt, however, her gaze instead shifted towards her downed opponent who was mere feet from the both of them; a low hum escaping the Saiyaness, while King Opart had finally stood from his shocked and seated position. It looked as though he was waiting for his niece and Earth's Representative to have their talk, so that he could properly declare the winner. "Heal Lirocco, please. I should be alright, after a visit to the hot springs before we leave, if you'd want to come, but... I think he needs help more than I do." If or once Tater likely obliged her dear friend's odd request, only then would Opart make his proper declaration, as he raised a hand to signify a moment of silence, so that he could speak.
"Let it be made official, that Hakkona is the winner of this bout! A continued few moments of silence are in order, so that we may hear from the victor, herself!" Post-declaration, the King would immediately do as the Lagomorph had done just moments ago, as he made his way into the arena's battlefield itself, and approach his niece, and thus allowing her to stay close to Tater and the downed Rebel, in case the latter decided to be outraged by his loss, once he eventually woke from his unconscious state.
"Hakkona, as you and many are aware, Lirocco's purpose for challenging you to this fight was to attempt to usurp our lineage for the throne, and to rule the very sect that we've cared for, since before the other sects were even formed across the universe! To those who still doubt your right to be royalty, or your worth as not just a Saiyan, but a person overall, what say you, to those steadfast critics?" It likely felt cheesy to the King, to interview his own niece like he wasn't related to her, but clearly everyone in attendance seemed to prefer that, over things ending differently; previously vocal members of the massive crowd actively having cheered Hakkona, by the end.
The dead silence made it feel as though Hakkona needed a few moments to formulate a response, even if nothing more than a minute had passed since she'd requested that Tater focus on healing the Would-Have-Been Usurper, instead of the Buff Gal herself. What would Hakkona say? How long would Lirocco be out for? It was almost as if the immediate aftermath of the fight, itself, was still holding onto some of the skirmish's tension.

The other Royals were very pleased with Tater's generous representation of their cultures, even if it was just in the form of an accessory she was wearing, as they'd nodded in agreement with Chief Paragu; an air of uncertainty, though still lingering in the air, as the concern of what resolution the four rulers came to was something that needed to be addressed...
And the Lagomorph, herself, seemed to be the one to get right to the point, as her shift into a more comfortable, seated position would be responded to, with Chylli, Opart, Scallia and Paragu, themselves, sitting for just a moment; the discussion at hand not requiring anyone to stand, even if it wouldn't be too long of a conversation. Though, a chortle would escape Chylli, after the Little Rabbit's insistence that they get to business; the Queen interjecting before they would, in fact, discuss the pressing matter at hand. "Someone's grown rather comfortable with how she speaks to royalty. No sarcasm intended, I'm starting to like you even more, Tater."
Paragu, however, wasn't going to give much attention to the amused demeanor of the other Royal, as he cleared his throat; waiting for Tater's gaze to fall on him again, while the others remained mostly silent. Out of the four, Paragu was the most blunt and well-spoken, as well as the most emotionally sound and calming, which likely made him the best choice. Regardless, once Earth's Representative looked to him, again, a sigh would escape the Chief.
"After a thorough discussion, we've come to the conclusion that interfering in affairs that are taking place on Earth, by sending our own kind there to apprehend the now-named Ghost, Pholomena and Castor, would likely tarnish or jeopardize any positive standings that the Saiyans have or could have with the people of Earth. Collateral damage from any conflict would cause political and ideological uproar, and likely paint Saiyans in a light that would even put the lives of Torno and Shuen at risk, from a living perspective." Paragu, himself, wasn't too happy with the very conclusion he was conveying to Tater, but... He had a point.
"Though, it has come to our attention that a few citizens of our respective planets, it seems, have vocalized wishing to travel more after your visitations to our sects. Should they wind up finding new homes on Earth, perhaps you'll find help through them, with all of our approval to ally yourselves with those you've touched, by meeting them."

Torno and Shuen both wanted to vocalize their affirmation that Llumia's company would be welcomed, but the most they could manage to do to communicate with Tater, before Chylli approached them, was nod in approval; the lack of time amongst themselves without interruption giving them little room to properly even carry much of a conversation. Though, that was to be expected, given the circumstances of everything that was going on.
The Little Rabbit's show of proper etiquette and respect for the Queen's title, meanwhile, would be met with a briefly audible hum of approval from the previously harsh and standoffish Queen, before she and Earth's Representative began their veiled discussion of pressing matters; any onlookers not allowing their focus to linger on Chylli and the trio who had her company, as it was customary not to rudely eavesdrop on a conversation that involved royalty. "Certainly! They're just near the large dining area, waiting for us."
Without delay, the Queen would lead Tater and her renowned Saiyan companions towards the other three Royals, while offering idle chatter about whatever could briefly fill the silence between where they were, and where they needed to be; talks of the tournament of champions, as well as another quick compliment to the Lagomorph's attire otherwise not serving much purpose. When the Saiyaness had managed to rejoin the other Saiyan rulers, with Shuen, Torno and Tater in tow, however, any conversations that were taking place between any individuals present came to a halt, as Paragu would be the first to greet Earth's Representative. After all, it'd be rude to just fixate upon business-related matters without amicable greetings, and genuine care for one's company.
"Greetings are in order, Tater. I may speak for all of us, when I say that it's wonderful to meet with you again, despite the circumstances. I, for one, would like to offer my admiration for your choice of dress and decoration, for the occasion. You look wonderful." Genuine compliments and nods of agreement would come from all the Royals, it would seem, as they didn't quite break the ice, as far as pressing matters were concerned. If that was to be approached, it was likely that Tater would need to nudge things in that direction, when she was comfortable to do so. After all, she was a guest, and hosts were often expected to make their guests comfortable, regardless of status.

After all, she was a guest, and hosts were often expected to make their guests comfortable, regardless of status.
Torno and Shuen would almost chuckle to themselves, when Llumia's familiar voice was heard, and she'd quickly approached the Little Rabbit; the girls' mutual excitement to see each other again practically radiating off of them, and making Tater's companions smile joyfully, to see how happy she was. A warm hug from the Lagomorph would be met with an eager embrace from the estranged heiress, while she hummed blissfully when she was squeezed by the smaller woman. "I'm glad you came to the festival, too!"
She hadn't forgotten about Tater's question, but the violet-haired girl couldn't help but to squeal gleefully again, before speaking once more. "Well, I talked to Empress Scallia, once she wasn't so busy, and told her that I wanted to travel, since... You know." Of course, being Scallia's illegitimate child, in her culture, was problematic, and made the Saiyaness's life rather difficult and confined. "I even told her that you named me, and she said that as long as we keep in touch, I'm free to go wherever I want! She even said something about coming to Earth!" The idea, though, made Torno and Shuen raise an eyebrow respectively, as it was so... Sudden. It wasn't like she would be a burden to them.
The Illegitimate daughter of Scallia seemed as though she was about to ask Earth's Representative about her investigation, or how things had gone since she and her Saiyan companions left, until a sound of surprise and realization escaped the Saiyaness. "Oh, shoot! I told Alaria we'd go to the arena and see who'll be the champion this year! Let's talk more, before you guys leave!" Giving Tater one more hug, the purple-haired girl would then quickly take off to find her friend; leaving the Little Rabbit, Mighty Saiyan and Paradox Saiyan alone again, for the moment.
At least... That would have been the case, if not for Chylli parting the crowd around them like the Red Sea, and approaching the trio; eyes starkly set on Tater, herself, while a genuinely friendly smile was etched on the features of the otherwise standoffish Queen. "Tater, it's wonderful to see that you came to the Unity Festival! When you have a moment, I think the other Royals might like to see your ensemble, to represent our sects so beautifully!" A veiled sense of importance was laced into every word that left her lips, however, as she coyly tried to give a hint that the matter was more than just an opportunity to be showered in compliments by royalty.

Even if Scallia seemed unable to acknowledge Tater's understanding of how occupied she was, at the time of their arrival, the faintest of hums would be heard escaping the Empress, as she rejoined the aforementioned officials in their rather important conversation. All the same, the ruler seemed to rather like the Little Rabbit, from the brief interactions they'd had since meeting at the emergency council.
Alaria's immediate response to the Lagomorph's inquiry about extreme views would be a slight, suspicious shifting of her gaze around the room they occupied; eyeing the officials, and even the Empress herself, before snapping her attention back to the Earth Representative. By then, however, Tater had already mentioned wanting to see the sights, which seemed to put a rather unnatural smile on the face of the appointed tour guide. If Alaria was so trusted by the Empress, she was certainly acting rather shady.
"Believe it or not, the residential district is quite a hidden gem for sightseeing. It's quite a ways away from the imperial palace, but it's much closer to the natural life and wilderness of the planet, if you enjoy that sort of thing." Suddenly, Alaria would step past Tater and her Saiyan allies, who were by that point giving each other rather confused and curious glances; leading them outside the palace walls, before quickly turning around to face them again. When she did so, a rather stern and careful expression was etched on her features.
"There are quite a few views and beliefs in our culture that could cause unrest, to answer your first question. To ask, let alone answer within the walls of the palace, however, would draw the suspicion of officials of all branches of the empire. What I'm about to tell you doesn't leave your lips to reach anyone's ears, got it?" When she was given any sort of confirmation of understanding from Tater, while Torno and Shuen had already slowly nodded, Alaria would turn again, to begin leading them through the residential district; the trio having passed statues of previous emperors and empresses before reaching the aforementioned region. There was still quite a bit of space that allowed for only their ears to hear what the Saiyaness was about to share with them, so she managed to mind her volume.
"You must understand that with an empire, comes the right to rule among descendants and family members of the current ruler. Empress Scallia's family, like the other royals in the other sects, has led our people for countless generations, without fail. Heirs, brothers and sisters, and cousins ruled when an emperor or empress met an untimely death." She'd clear her throat, before turning her gaze slightly towards Tater, even if she was behind the iridescent-haired woman. "In Empress Scallia's case, however, she has no living relatives, nor a legitimate child to take her place, should she meet a sudden end. As you can imagine, illegitimate heirs born out of, say... Traditional, wedded means would cause controversy and unrest, should they be named as a potential next-in-line ruler."
Was she suddenly walking faster, as they approached a more populated region of the residential district? It certainly seemed that way, as the beauty around them in the form of architecture and plant life both paralleled the controlled, colorful chaos that was the imperial palace's busyness. If Tater had more questions to ask, she'd likely have to do so while keeping close to Alaria, as to not draw too much attention.
Immediately upon being able to converse with the trio of guests before her, it was clear that her hurried nature was a regrettable one, even for her; Tater's sheepish smile, however, lending a softness to the chaos that the Empress felt all around herself. "I appreciate your effort greatly." Leaning in just a touch, conversations around them almost seemed to be focus points for Scallia, as she did her best to tune them out, and pay attention to the Lagomorph before her.
"Power and strength are attributes that, when possessed well, allow for positions of power to become available. To oversee an empire takes great strength, just as trusting others for help takes the very same. If you mean in a more physical sense, our culture focuses more on obedience than what power a person possesses. How that power is used, is more important. Though, if there is weakness to be found in the people of our culture, our way of life tends to toughen even the least powerful Saiyans into something greater."
Before Scallia could be asked another question, however, the Empress heard her voice beckoned by her advisor, as he waved his arm in the air; squeezing his way out of the very same crowd of officials she'd gotten out of moments ago. A groan, followed by a sigh, would escape the Saiyaness, as she then turned her head back to Tater, Torno and Shuen; her expression changing to one of regret, as well as guilt that she was only able to give them a moment of her time. "I'm terribly sorry, Tater, but duty calls. I hope I've been of some help, but a trusted citizen of our planet may be able to guide you along." As she turned to head towards the officials again, the Saiyaness would turn her head to her side.
"Alaria, dear, please show our guests around, and answer whatever questions they may have?"
Otherwise just another face in the crowd, a rather tame, average-built Saiyaness would softly make her way across the room of the palace, nod to the Empress, and then stop in front of the Little Rabbit and her Saiyan allies. Brownish hair with an iridescent shine seemed to be her most noticeable feature, as she quickly took responsibility for the care of Torno, Tater and Shuen.
Tumblr media
"I've overheard that you're asking about our culture, so I hope that I'm able to help you find what you're looking for. What would you like to learn, if beliefs about strength and power are what you asked our Empress about?" Getting to the point, Alaria's neutral tone indicated that she was rather nonchalant or neutral about Tater and her friends. She couldn't quite guide them anywhere, or lend aid if she didn't have anything to go off of, could she?

Just before landing, Tater's awe as she viewed the planet from the window would draw soft chortles from her Saiyan friends, as they were rather pleased that she was enjoying the sights before her, in spite of the reason why there were traveling to each sect to begin with. Like her, however, this was likely their first real visit to Scallia's planet, as their endeavors often left them too busy to particularly travel unless it was necessary.
Once the trio was greeted by Kohl, however, Tater's soft breath would go unnoticed, as introductions were starting to be passed between both her and Scallia's advisor. While informing the advisors was likely commonplace, in situations such as the one that the Little Rabbit and her companions found themselves in, perhaps the Empress was so busy, that she might've forgotten to pass such information along. Regardless, Tater's giving of her name to the relatively joyful Saiyan would cause Kohl to nod. "The pleasure is mine, Tater."
A shy reaction, as well as her glancing over her own attire, would cause Kohl's own cheeks to flush, as he stifled a soft chuckle of sorts. Earthly attire truly seemed to be something not often seen by the Saiyans of this sect, it seemed, but the advisor liked it enough. "Don't mention it!" Offering a soft grin, the Empress's advisor would turn to lead his guests towards Scallia's palace, while he felt no further need to emphasize just how busy she likely was. A short few minutes wouldn't allow much room for extensive conversation, but the structures and nature around them was likely captivating enough to draw even the admiration of the Mighty Saiyan and the Paradox Saiyan.
Once the Little Rabbit and the Saiyans in her company reached the palace, the abundance of people already within its walls gave validity to the advisor's previous claim of his Excellency's rather occupied condition. Religious figures, commanders, administrative staff, and other important imperial figures nearly surrounded the Empress, as Kohl quickly cleared his throat to get her attention. "Empress Scallia, your guests have arrived."
A snap of her head in the direction of Tater, Torno and Shuen would accompany a wide-eyed stare, as she was busy conversing with the aforementioned figures; an empire's rather vast set of responsibilities for one ruler proving to be quite the task, thankfully taken care of with the help of trusted advisors and other individuals. "So they have! Do excuse me for a moment, so I may speak to them for a few moments! Kohl, please keep the officials occupied in my stead!" Breaking from the compact crowd of officials that surrounded her, the Empress would work her way towards the Lagomorph and her powerful allies; dusting herself off thereafter.
"Greetings, Empress Scallia. It seems we've come at a rather busy time in your day." Torno would offer a brief exchange with the ruler, as both he and Shuen had otherwise been quiet for the duration of the investigation thus far.
"We won't take much of your time, we promise! Tater's been pretty quick with questions, and our visits to the other sects helped us narrow things down a little, we think." Shuen would then offer Scallia one of his signature grins, before softly nudging the Little Rabbit forward; a hand on her lower back gently encouraging her to do as she'd done for the other sects.
"I'll help however I can, while I have a moment to speak with you. It's lovely to see you all here, but let's get down to business, shall we?" Clearing her throat, the Empress would then bring her gaze to the Lagomorph before her, as her expression became one of a more serious nature. "I may not be able to help you much, personally, but is there anything you need to ask me, while I'm able to answer?"

"I may not be able to help you much, personally, but is there anything you need to ask me, while I'm able to answer?"
Thankfully, their visit to Paragu's planet allowed the Lagomorph and her Saiyan companions the opportunity to lower their guard, and not require decompression like Opart's planet did; allowing the trio to pass the time peacefully, as hours would stand between them and their arrival upon Empress Scallia's planet. Idle conversations and activities would likely keep the three of them entertained, until they'd reached closer to their target destination.
Descending onto the most suitable place for their vessel to land, the planet's view from above would harken to feudal eras of Asian, Eastern cultures of Earth, as bamboo-like plants and architecture almost made it seem as though this culture and the one of Earth were the same. Though, obvious Saiyan influences and beliefs would allow a distinction to exist. Unlike the previous two planets that the Little Rabbit, Mighty Saiyan and Paradox Saiyan were on, however, only a single person was waiting to greet them, once they exited their spacecraft.
Tumblr media
At first, when they were on solid ground, the youthful, observant Saiyan gave them a rather careful and skeptical look, while his eyes lingered on the Little Rabbit for longer than the other two; the silence between the four of them likely causing an air of awkwardness, until the man spoke. When he did so, a smile flashed onto his face, as he slightly bowed his head to both Tater and the Saiyans in her company.
"Empress Scallia told me that you'd be arriving sometime today, to learn about our culture. She'd have come to greet you, herself, but she's rather occupied at the moment. My name is Kohl, and I'm the advisor of our Empress, though I'm already familiar with both Torno and Shuen. Before I take you to see her, may I ask for your name, Miss?" Soft vocals elegantly left the lips of a rather joyful, almost playful man, while he seemed faintly excited to greet his Excellency's guests. Despite knowing the reason why they were there, he didn't really bother to bring up that they were conducting an investigation.
"I quite like your attire, if you don't mind me saying so."

Not that she was doing so prior to that first connected punch of Lirocco's, that she hadn't outright given him for free like the ones before, but Hakkona had already given up on keeping score of how many times the Rebel's hooks met her tough yet beautiful face; pain shooting her entire body as the Buff Gal's head was rattled from both sides. A ringing in her ears nearly made the crowd's gasps and cheers impossible to make out, while the feeling of a broken nose remained so very new to her, and yet almost commonplace for her father and Shuen, when they were once at odds with each other. So that was what it felt like...
As a grappler, her own offense would practically require her to remain within reach of her opposition, and the longer this battle continued, the stronger Hakkona's opposition became; his adaptive genetics gifting him with something that could topple even the greatest of fighters, if left unrivaled, unchecked and not met with strategy. Though, some gifts proved to be a curse, didn't they? There were limits to all things, and drawbacks that would eventually reveal themselves, weren't there?
All the Heiress could hear was the terrible ringing noise in her ears, as well as her own thoughts, as each blow landed more swiftly, and harder than the last. If this continued, without any room to retaliate, she knew damn well that she would lose. However... One of Lirocco's strikes felt just as strong as the one that preceded it, and in that moment, a familiar, warm voice broke through the noise that plagued the Saiyaness's hearing! Out of every person in attendance, that lone proclamation of support seemed to remind the Buff Gal of those who stood by her personally, and not just for the sake of tradition and comfort.
WHAM!
The Could-Be Usurper's fist once again met the face of Torno's daughter, while its predecessors knocked her head from side to side. This one, however, was met with resistance, as Hakkona curled her digits into her palm, into a tight fist, and finally found her footing once again.
Tumblr media
In one swift motion, the Buff Gal would send her fist into the chin of her powerful opposition, while utilizing enough force to send the Rebel rocketing into the air at breakneck speeds; her own strength seemingly increasing to match his own, and level the playing field in one definitive uppercut! Certainly, Lirocco would recover and close the distance between himself and Hakkona, but for a solid few seconds, perhaps ten or more... There was breathing room. A stunned silence fell over most of the crowd, as though no one expected such a sudden change in the tide of the such an important encounter.
Hakkona's few moments of reprieve from immediate danger had allowed her the time to fortify her mental and physical state, as a deep breath would precede her hands coming towards her own nose; a violent cracking sound coming with the swift motion of the aforementioned hands, as the Heiress forced her nose back into its proper shape and form. Before the silence was broken, and while Lirocco was still reeling from Hakkona's uppercut, a visible smirk could be seen etched on the features of Tater's dear friend in spite of the pain she was likely feeling.
Finally, a voice that the Little Rabbit had heard mere moments ago would loudly disrupt the shocked silence that overcame the crowd in attendance, as Empress Scallia cast aside professionalism in the stead of the Lagomorph woman! "COME ON, HAKKONA! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!" A pumped fist and standing position would accompany Scallia's outburst, and time seemed to stand still for just a few moments. The Royals were meant to keep a professional, unbiased air about their presence and attendance, no matter how they really felt, and there Scallia was... Openly supporting the very same Saiyaness that Earth's Representative had cheered on, just seconds ago!
"Such an endeavor would likely only likely validate our concerns, regarding his intentions and core beliefs. My hope, is that we needn't experience a change tradition and ruling lineage." Even as a Royal from another sect, it was likely that none of the rulers were supposed to have a clear favorite between the two competitors; Paragu's rather forward opinion coming with a matter-of-fact inflection, while the battle had yet to change its current condition.
A frown of his own would creep onto his features, however, when the Little Rabbit began explaining why the thick choker had adorned the neck of her muscular gal pal; the Chief's care for others, no matter the level of personal closeness, making his emotions shine through, in more vulnerable moments. "I'd like to think that she's recovered, in part, because of you and her loved ones. Were she to suffer a loss again, especially today, I fear that it might break her spirit beyond repair." Still, there was optimism in Paragu's voice, even as Lirocco's strikes drew nearer to making connection with Hakkona.
Tater's offered insight into her faith towards Hakkona, and those in the stead of Torno and Shuen, allowed the Tribal Chief to shed off any sorrow and worry he had, if there was any, regarding the state of things for both the Heiress and the universe that the Hero of Hope and Mighty Saiyan so selflessly protected. He didn't outright say it then, but his appreciation for the Lagomorph's perspective on things only grew, the longer the two spoke. The most he could offer was a smile of his own, before the familiar sound of flesh colliding with flesh callously caught everyone's attention once more.
Tumblr media
The first of many devastating left and right hooks from Lirocco would finally begin to make their connection with his opposition's head and body, as the Buff Gal struggled to keep her guard up enough to lessen the impact of the blows; the Could-Be Usurper's attributes of strength and speed increasing, the longer the fight continued. In spite of that, however, Hakkona didn't seem to collapse or lose too much of her balance, as she took each attack in stride, and allowed her body to move with the momentum of her foe's assault. Though, if Tater managed to catch a glimpse of her dear friend's face, it looked as though one of Lirocco's powerful punches struck the Heiress hard enough to noticeably break her nose!
With Hakkona on the defensive end of the skirmish, and Lirocco not letting up with his aggravated offense, it looked as though the daughter of Torno wasn't afforded any time to counter with offense of her own, let alone fortify her position enough to stand her ground! She wasn't giving the Rebel those connected shots for free anymore, just as she'd proclaimed, and that certainly meant that she was in a terrible predicament!

Scallia was grateful that her Lagomorph friend understood her previous admiration of one of her companions, even if the fight's stunning exchanges didn't allow her the proper time to convey it through expressions or words. Though, when the two combatants headbutted each other, a hand did come to cover the Empress's mouth. Despite being a Saiyan, herself, it was clear that such a maneuver was something she hadn't seen in her own culture, even as its ruler.
A soft hum and a nod would be given to the Little Rabbit, however, once Tater had announced her departure from the company of the Empress, as she understood the Earth's Representative's objective without taking it personally. For a brief moment, within the first few steps of Tater's travel from one Royal to another, even given the distance between each of them, the fight seemed to screech to a halt, as the aforementioned headbutt did, in fact, seem to stun the Heiress and the Rebel.
After that brief moment, however, both Hakkona and Lirocco would snap their gazes to one another once again, as they fortified their respective fighting stances. Were they about to quickly resume their violent contest, or would things shift into something more methodical? The answer, surprisingly, came when the Could-Be Usurper finally spoke directly to Torno's daughter. Strange, that they hadn't even said a word to each other, until then. "How does it feel, to know that you're going to let your family, your ancestors, and your father down? That you've willingly allowed me the freedom to not hold back?" Words from the male combatant would have the large crowd in attendance fall silent, as if they wished to hear every word that left either person's lips.
Had Tater been looking towards her dear friend, and the brash foe that opposed her, the Little Rabbit would likely notice that Hakkona's expression was no longer stern; a slight smirk creeping onto her visage, as she shrugged immediately in response to the first question Lirocco threw at her. "It feels like you're stalling, honestly. Like you're afraid that you've underestimated me, already!" Just as quickly, however, her stoic expression returned, as if to purposefully convey that the Buff Gal wasn't jesting with the Rebel. "Let me make something clear: that headbutt is the last free hit you'll get on me." Harsh, confident words would escape the Saiyaness, as she stared almost through her opponent. If looks could kill, Hakkona would have won the bout, then and there.
Flared nostrils and a rather irate, offended expression would snap onto the face of Hakkona's opponent, as he seemed to be at a loss for words thereafter; immediately aiming to prove the Buff Gal's statement false! Lirocco would dart towards King Opart's niece, with his fist drawn back rather quickly, before he aimed to unleash a powerful haymaker; a short-fused temper making him act without much thought, though it remained to be seen if his speed and strength gave him the opening he needed, to land such a wild strike!
Even if the Empress's attention was split between both the fight and the company of the Little Rabbit, the Royal just managed to take notice of the attempt of keeping a proper posture around her, and offered a soft chuckle. Her peripheral seemed to catch Tater at all times, but seeing that was almost amusing to her, given the current situation they were in. A chance to address it would have to wait, however, as the loud crack of thunder caused Scallia's conversational guest to cover her sensitive ears.
The Lagomorph's continuation of their conversation would be met with hums and sighs of relief and joy, as their friendship seemed to grow, the longer they could speak together. She was quickly starting to see why her illegitimate offspring took such a liking to Tater, so soon after meeting her. A shifting in the Little Rabbit's proximity to the Empress would immediately, however, be met with a slightly raised brow, as the fight's unfolding events allowed another moment of uninterrupted eye contact and fully-given attention.
The inquiry made was... Bold, to say the least, and yet Scallia's expression wasn't one of an offended or upset ruler, but that of a slightly flustered, dear friend; their casual relationship, perhaps, allowing for the strict demeanor and air of the Empress to be lowered and not upheld, for appearance's sake. As for the fight occupying everyone else's attention, there was no doubt plenty of freedom for Tater and Scallia to speak so openly with each other. "I've been asked the question relentlessly by officials in my own empire, so it's not something I'm unfamiliar with being asked. Though, it feels different, when you ask. I'll answer it, if you'll be yourself when we're around one another. Your excitement and relaxed nature is refreshing... It makes me feel like this isn't business, like all other things in my life as an Empress." Afforded the chance to be honest with another person, Scallia seemed to speak with so much emotion, and acted like she was a commoner; a far cry from how proper she was, when the two first met.
"Most suitors that I tend to have are... Related to the officials that help my empire run smoothly. It's not frowned upon to find a spouse that isn't from a wealthy, reputable family, but I have so little time to be a person, that I can't quite socialize enough to meet someone who I fancy. That, and if I may be honest with you, the first time I met one of your friends, both of which we all hold in high regard, I felt rather drawn to him, despite the certainty that the feelings weren't going to be reciprocated. It's embarrassing to admit out loud, though." A dusting of pink would cover the cheeks of the Empress, for a moment, before the fight seemed to draw her attention again; leaving everyone to gasp and cheer, as what was unfolding was brief, and only making the tensions rise!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both Hakkona and Lirocco had managed to regain their respective footing against one another, as both of them drew their fists back and lunged forward; aiming to punch one another with an intensity that even the Royals, themselves, hadn't seen in exhibitions in quite some time!
Tumblr media
Simultaneously, the Heiress and the Rebel's fists would callously collide with their opposition's face, and yet neither of them staggered, withdrew, or even said a word since the moment that the fight got underway; the moment, itself, lingering for no more than a second, and yet feeling as though time itself had stopped, before another attempt from both parties would be made!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Buff Gal and Could-Be Usurper would lean their heads back for a moment, before violently sending their own skulls into each other's own, as a mutual connection of the headbutts almost immediately made both combatants stagger slightly; Hakkona and Lirocco needing a second to recover, as even they couldn't shrug off the offense's effects on themselves! Just how far would they go, to determine the very fate of their race's long-held traditions, and Hakkona's own bloodline?!

While the focus of the council had become centered around Chylli's calmer demeanor, as well as the question she asked the Little Rabbit, Rhuba could still be seen tilting her head almost curiously; her gaze quickly shifting from Queen Chylli to Tater, as if she wanted to know about what was going on, given her allowance to do so. Though, from just how she seemed, Rhuba was likely smart enough to realize that Shuen and Torno's presence were indicators of some sort of relation to the Lagomorph's presence.
Having interrupted their previous rotational response system, the Queen was suddenly more uniform and willing to consider the plight of the Earth's representative, while also allowing the other royals to speak when it was their turn; even going so far as to look towards Paragu during Tater's explanation, and offer a quiet "I'm sorry", before honing in on the Saiyans' descriptions.
When the Little Rabbit finished speaking, all of the rulers seemed rather puzzled by the shared information, as if they were all trying to recall if they'd ever met any of their own kind who fit the bill for any of the attributes that their guest described. Though, Opart was the next to speak, and thus promptly spoke on behalf of his fellow royals; reading their expressions before doing so, while his nervous demeanor had become one of absolute composure. "The three of them sound as though they'd be hard to forget, if anyone happened to see them, or know them in the slightest. I suppose that's all we can really ask you, Tater. Your cooperation has been appreciated over the matter, and unless there's anything else to add, this council can be adjourned."
Paragu, Scallia and Chylli all seemed content with ending the council there, and nodded their heads to convey a mutual agreement with Torno's brother's decision; Rhuba, meanwhile, looking as though she was surprised that things were settled so quickly after she arrived. Though, before all of the Saiyan rulers rose from their seats to use their transporters to return to their respective planets across the universe, Opart would address the Little Rabbit, so that her, Shuen and Torno's objectives were clear.
"You three can start your investigation into the differing cultures of each sect of Saiyans as soon as you're ready. With how busy us royals tend to be, you'll likely only get to learn from other inhabitants like Rhuba, who I would encourage you to take with you on the journey to my planet. We'll be seeing each other again soon, I'd imagine, since your first stop is there." Offering his brief farewell to Tater and her two Saiyan friends, Opart, as well as the other royals, would each return to their respective sects in the universe; leaving the Little Rabbit, the Paradox Saiyan and the Mighty Saiyan to get back on their ship with Rhuba in tow, and travel once more.
For those small, albeit tense moments where Torno and Shuen moved to intervene, the Hero of Hope managed to keep his attention focused squarely upon the Little Rabbit; her touch and holding of his arm keeping him mentally grounded, despite his awareness of everything else going on around them. Even when Torno alluded to violence, something he seldom resorted to anymore, the Paradox Saiyan seemed a bit taken aback; his body tensing a bit more.
A sigh of relief would escape Shuen, however, once Chylli relented, as his Lagomorph friend inquired about the identity of the person named Rhuba; the redheaded Saiyan slightly turning his head so he could catch the Little Rabbit in his peripherals, and offer her a just visible smile. "Rhuba's a Saiyan from King Opart's sect of the universe. Her adaptive genetics gave her an ability that's kind of like a a passive tranquilizer. It'd be easier just to let you experience it, once she gets here. Let's just say that she prevents the royals from getting too nasty."
Given the very purpose of the transporter Saiyans under the employment of the rulers, the retrieval of Rhuba would take no more than a minute or two; leaving little room for much chatter and lingering tension, otherwise. When she arrived, Opart would be the first to greet her, as she quickly bowed her head; her form out of Tater's immediate line of sight, until she was instructed to sit at the center of the council's table. Once she'd done so, both Torno and Shuen would return to their original positions.
Tumblr media
"Hi hi, your majesties! It's wonderful to see you all again! Would you like me to cover my ears and close my eyes, while you take care of this meeting?" As if she'd done this several times before, the pink-haired Saiyaness seemed so casual and bubbly in greeting the Saiyan Royals; contrasting Tater's own composure, while also conveying just how positive the girl was. Before she was given an answer to her question, however, she would manage a soft wave to the Little Rabbit; smiling just as sweetly as the moment she arrived.
"I believe this council isn't one that will require such secure measures, Rhuba. Considering the matter at hand, and what dealing with it entails, you have our permission to observe." Empress Scallia would offer a response to the query of the tranquil woman, while Rhuba seemed to beam with joy; nodding her head out of respect and acknowledgement, while taking a deep breath in, and exhaling thereafter.
"We're all good to go then, your majesties. Things should start feeling much better in a second or two, so please don't mind me!" Just like that, it seemed as though the pink-haired girl did... Something, as her tail swayed almost proudly; the tension felt by all in attendance slowly, but noticeably, lessening as it felt as though a surreal calmness crept into each ruler, as well as Tater and her friends.
With that, Queen Chylli took a deep breath in, brought her gaze to the Lagomorph, and exhaled almost blissfully; her body untensing, as the slightest of smiles etched itself on her visage. "Before we allow you to investigate the cultures of our sects of Saiyans, a description of this trio might prove to be beneficial information to take into consideration. You've been rather forward with other details, so I must commend you for doing so, but... There may be a few questions or things you haven't told us." For once, Chylli wasn't being confrontational towards the Representative of Earth, and even paying her a compliment; the Queen patiently waiting for an answer, as if the very atmosphere of the meeting had shifted drastically.

"I completely understand that sort of preference, and feel the same at times. Perhaps, in time, dire associations for our encounters will just be a thing of the past." For some, keeping a conversation steady while focusing on something else proved to be difficult, but for Scallia, it was likely her busy sect had conditioned her to multitask at all times; her responses somewhat brief, while remaining attentive to the Little Rabbit's own words.
A hum of agreement was all that the Empress could truly manage, upon Tater's second statement, though she tried her very best to give both the Lagomorph and the confrontation equal amounts of attention; aforementioned, equal strikes and the eventual first advantage keeping the Royal on the edge of her seat. She didn't quite convey it through words, but Scallia undoubtedly enjoyed the rather forward, almost friendly and equal banter she could have with Earth's Representative. Tater wasn't a subject, nor was she someone that solely spoke to the Empress on professional matters, and the Little Rabbit offered the Royal to be... Herself.
The mention of Llumia, however, would draw Scallia's gaze towards the Little Rabbit again, in spite of the recent footing gained by the rebellious Lirocco against Hakkona; a small, albeit stressed smile etching itself onto the features of the Empress. "I'm grateful to hear that she's taken a liking to Earth. Given her abilities, our home felt like it wasn't suited for her. If you wouldn't mind, please let her know that her relocation, even if it was at her own request, isn't an attempt to hide her more carefully, from the world." In a moment of honesty, the Empress made it clear that she felt a bit of guilt, for her lack of a relationship with her own illegitimate progeny; previously discussed beliefs and issues within her sect being indirectly brought up, as a result.
However, even Scallia was aware that today wasn't about her, or personal matters that pertained to only herself, as her attention quickly snapped back to the fight between the Torno's daughter, and the hotheaded Could-Be Usurper; her Saiyan sense for conflict alerting her, perhaps, to a changing of the current tide of the confrontation!
Tumblr media
After Lirocco had gained his footing, and gave chase to his opposition, a strike or two more would land, before the Saiyaness, herself, seemed to fortify her defenses and balance; an open palm and slight shift of her own stance allowing her to brush off the redheaded warrior's next attempt, while disrupting his balance. If there was ever an opening, even if for a split second, that was it, and the Heiress knew it! Without missing a beat, the Buff Gal would look to even the score of strikes between herself and the Rebel!
Tumblr media
Even as Lirocco sought to bring his guard up to prepare himself for the Saiyaness's attack, a well-placed uppercut and follow-up spin kick would tear through the defense of Hakkona's opponent; his ability, no matter how advantageous it was in a fight, not quite prepared for the strength that Opart's niece possessed. Even if Tater wasn't wholly aware of what Lirocco's genetic ability was, it was impossible to miss the look on Scallia's face, as a look of both relief and excitement lingered on her features!
Tumblr media
A bolt of lightning would collide with the very earth within the arena's sizable battleground, just as Hakkona was about to unleash another strike against Lirocco; kicking up a large chunk of rocky debris that threatened to distract or careen into anything or anyone within its path, and yet neither opposition, in that split second, cared for the noise or sight of the storm!
Tumblr media
Sheer might from Hakkona would cause the debris to crumble upon impact, while the obstacle, itself, didn't slow the force or momentum of the Saiyaness's fist as it met its target head-on; sending Lirocco stumbling backwards!
Scallia would quickly look to the Little Rabbit, as a look of awe remained on the Empress's face. Both of them clearly had a favorite in this bout, for good reasons, and even the ruler couldn't help but pump a fist in excitement at the spectacle unfolding; a clearing of her throat, thereafter, proving to be an attempt to steer her focus towards the Lagomorph for a moment, again. "Llumia... I never got to tell you how grateful I am, that you gave her a name, Tater. I also must apologize if my attention is unfairly divided!"

While the reasoning for Tater's standing her own ground wasn't correlated to the outcome that would occur, her conveying of a strong will would cause Chylli's glare to soften just a touch; a slightly amused, accepting chortle escaping her. Was... That a test? The subtle tension between both the Lagomorph and the Queen was so private that none of the other rulers could even surmise an answer to such a question.
The eradication of peace? Such a chaotic, almost heartless motive and goal had all four of the Saiyan royals shifting uncomfortably in their seats, despite even Chylli's previous assumption that Tater implied that the trio was a threat to even them. For just a moment, and nothing more, a deafening silence overcame the room that everyone occupied, until Opart could audibly be heard swallowing air; gulping nervously, as if something of this nature had never happened before.
The matter of where Tater, Shuen and Torno could begin their investigation, however, was a matter that Paragu would get a turn to speak on, as the rotational response system that the four rulers had dictated as much. "If I may, familiarity would be a good start. You are a friend of Torno, so investigating the sect that his brother, King Opart, rules over seems-"
Before Paragu could finish his suggestion, however, Chylli callously slammed her fist against the table; entirely breaching the systematic flow of conversation that was otherwise working rather well. "I humored the idea of allowing this long-eared to plead her case to a council that is reserved, normally, for only our own kind, but I will not sit by and allow a further overstepping of mutually agreed upon decisions!" A finger was quickly pointed at Opart, as her gaze finally left Tater.
"You have some nerve, taking it upon yourself to invite someone outside of our race to something sacred to our people, Opart! Need I remind you, that events relevant to Scallia, Paragu and myself are not ones that you can meddle with, without consulting us first?! Gods above, why don't you just proclaim your love for this Earth woman, and spare us all, from your sudden loss of intelligence? Better yet, why don't I just rid us of her, so you don't forget not to-" As she was shouting at Opart, Chylli would rise from her seat, and turn towards Tater as the subject became more about her; a step being taken by the Queen, as if her temper had gotten the best of her, and she was going to bring harm to the Little Rabbit. Only...
FWOOSH
Two simultaneous gusts of wind signified an almost untraceable movement from two bodies, as Shuen stood protectively in front of the Lagomorph; his tail quickly wrapping around Tater's waist, while his otherwise relaxed posture had tensed considerably... So much so, in fact, that his musculature had swelled a touch. Meanwhile, the Mighty Saiyan had stood himself directly in front of Chylli, as his hands had closed into tightly balled fists; Paragu, Scallia and Opart collectively tensing, as audible gasps left each of them.
"I'd advise reconsidering that train of thought. Coexistence for countless generations or not, it would be a tragedy if royal blood were to be spilled during a council. Wouldn't you agree?" In spite of Torno's ability to be so stoic, and keep himself under control, his tone held an unmistakable hint of agitation and sincerity; venom laced in each syllable that left his lips, as both he and Shuen knew that among all of the Saiyans of their universe, that they were the strongest. Granted, the other royals were in leagues of their own as well, but none were equal to the rivals that ascended to levels of strength equal to godhood, and beyond.
For a moment, it was as if existence stood still, as no one dared speak, move, or even breathe loudly enough to be heard. That was, until Chylli cleared her throat, untensed her posture, and sat herself back in her seat; glaring at Opart, while sighing almost defeatedly. "Yes, well... It's hard to disagree with someone of your notoriety and acclaim, Torno... Not to mention that you are, lest we forget, royalty as well. I don't wish for our kind to come to blows and end the peace we've upheld for so long." Her gaze shot between Opart, Torno, and Tater, before it once more settled on the younger sibling of the Mighty Saiyan. "Opart, if you'll forgive my frustrated outburst, I think it'd be best that you have your transporter retrieve Rhuba, so that we may continue this council more peacefully."
For a moment, Opart would look to Scallia and Paragu, before they would nod in agreement; allowing the King to deliver such a request to his transporter, who promptly teleported from the immediate planet they occupied, to find this Rhuba that Chylli mentioned. Just who was she, though? Would Tater be curious enough to inquire, or would the tension prove to leave everyone in a sort of awkward silence?

Just who was she, though? Would Tater be curious enough to inquire, or would the tension prove to leave everyone in a sort of awkward silence?
As her inquiries were being answered by the Little Rabbit, Chylli only managed to initially hum in acknowledgement over the matter of why Tater looked to Torno; indifference quickly shifting to a look of concern, as her gaze darted towards the Mighty Saiyan. Thankfully, for the Lagomorph's sake, her anger wasn't immediately noticeable.
Following the example of allowing the other rulers to speak, in some sort of rotational order, the Queen couldn't quite offer any comments about what Tater was sharing with the lot of them; her focus, however, returning to Earth's representative with a narrowed gaze. When the Little Rabbit's voice became sharper, however, Chylli seemed to visibly scowl, and glare daggers through the council's guest, as if to challenge her to speak similarly a second time. Thankfully, however, sighs of relief escaped Shuen and Torno, as the Lagomorph thereafter managed to correct her tone; averting a potential crisis.
The other three rulers had their chance to speak, as well as make their inquiries about Tater's presence and pressing matter, which left Opart to finally have his say in things; Torno's deliberation prior to the emergency council being called allowing him to avoid any sort of need to prod the Lagomorph further, as Opart took her stress into consideration. The younger brother of the Mighty Saiyan would clear his throat in an attempt to stave off his own stress, before promptly addressing the friend of his older sibling.
"It's safe to say that no matter what differences our cultures may have, Miss Tater, there are... Extremists, who echo values similar to the ones that the Saiyan you mentioned seems to be acting upon. Although, having been told the details of things by Torno before this meeting was arranged, I find it especially peculiar that other Saiyans are being attacked." He cleared his throat again, as if to give himself a moment to think on what his next words should've been. "I'm in agreement with Queen Chylli, that investigating our sects and learning about the differing cultures might help you find the answers you seek. Without knowing the identities of any of the three Saiyans who attacked your planet, it's the only viable option that seems to be available."
The other rulers would collectively nod in agreement with Opart's perspective on Tater's words, though Chylli was still harshly glaring at the Little Rabbit, and not quite easing up on her demeanor towards the Representative of Earth. Though, Opart had one more thing to add, before allowing Tater to speak fully, again.
"Our yearly festival to celebrate our unity as Saiyans, and the goodwill we keep with each other as rulers, is evidently taking place not long from now. Perhaps, if you figure things out before too long, you could join Shuen and Torno as their guest of honor, and attend. Though, I would understand if this matter is too pressing for you to be able to do so."
