Does Daisuke have a preference in sports or physical activity beyond his usual phantom thief shenanigans? Does Dark enjoy anything similar?

hmmm! i can give a few different forms of answers to this so let me start by saying in any sort of school / public setting daisuke usually tries to hide his physical capabilities as a phantom thief. there are things like his grades in PE being poor or himself landing really nasty falls when he could easily save himself because he's always trying so hard to not look conspicuous, but he also gets caught up in things like being picked for active roles in school stageplays/performances that requires stunts anyways, so he "flubs" up practice nonstop then does perfectly fine during the real thing.

these are just examples of him sucking on purpose though (and sometimes he really does suck on clumsy accident, like not paying attention and falling flat on his face, or falling flat on his face because he's stealing someone's wallet back from a pickpocket,) obviously he's got stellar acrobatic capabilities overall and has a surprising amount of strength for someone with his build, (this post covers it well, really, nobody's allowed to forget daisuke climbed an entire ferris wheel with his bare hands lmao) but if it's an actual sport you want to see him enjoying, then he's probably going to pick swimming.

group oriented activities generally stress him out, and frankly he'd probably stress out any group he was with too - he's got that sad, awkward 'last kid picked for PE' energy and always does all his heists alone!! this rules out 99% of sports for him. swimming does away with all of that group necessity, and he's canonically a good swimmer too- has to be since his parents trained him for anything. (even though thanks to transforming and wiz trying to cover for him, everybody at his school thinks he almost drowned one time.)

most of daisuke's physical 'skills' he feels only should apply to his 'work,' so on top of the social anxiety ruling out, the range of things he enjoys doing alone is left extremely small - and really, if he actually has that much freetime and is feeling restless, (daisuke is almost always sleep deprived, he should be asleep, just like me fr) then he's probably going to be flying, which is also dark's preference outside of pulling a heist.

dark needs the thrill of pursuit on occasion, but on others he and/or daisuke just want to cruise. azumano is beautiful, and it's even more beautiful from above, so as the freaks(singular) with wings they'll just go for a nighttime flight in the sky, sometimes heading over to tokyo since that's where a lot of daisuke's friends (as in, my muts' muses,) are, and it's supposed to be close by. (azumano is a fictional province, but it's imagined around east japan, not too north or south.) otherwise, dark has even less interest than daisuke in actively participating in sports or anything; he's never gotten to try anything in the past and he doesn't expect himself to ever be able to anytime soon, so it's a moot point for him.

he's still, of course, very flashy and plainly skillful anytime he does manage to get his hands on something to mess around with - for example, hand him a basketball and he can keep it spinning on a single finger without any trouble, he can juggle quite literally anything, and he had no issue twirling a glass shoe around on his finger for fun while he chat with someone else in one of the light novels or catching arrows with his bare hands or dodging piano strings laced up in some woods purely by ear. dancing, forms of it like ballroom, waltz and tango would be something he could deeply enjoy --- but those require a partner, and that loops back to him not usually having the freedom to pursue any of that.

that's about it, i think. dark n daisuke's jock alignments are very very low LOL but that's because their heists nearly kill them all the time and push their physical capabilities to the extreme! if it's not the usual phantom thief shenanigans then this boy should be in bed, but sometimes you'll see him in the sky anyways because what's the point of bearing the burden of black wings if you can't indulge in the occasional gift and itch of flight. 🦅

MUSES

Some muses are minors in canon. and I'm willing to rp canon timelines, however, majority of them will be played in a post canon timeline of in their early 20s.

Every muse has a designated emoji. I find it fun and whimsical. I have no other reason. though the emoji/their name will always be used in some form when specifying muse. This allows for blacklisting purposes as well if a specific muse is too triggering. 

Please specify muse when interacting. If not, I will choose whoever I see fit. though I would rather choose someone you would enjoy interacting with instead of stuck with a character you have no knowledge of.

Frankly all muses are by default pansexual. And every ship is its own timeline. We can rp cheating as long as it's discussed. I also am okay with poly ships as well. 

Again; please don't force ships. if your muse crushes on mine, that's totally cool. I'm really open to all styles of content. So we can have angsty unrequited love. Or who knows maybe they grow on a muse and it ends up happening. Just let the ocean do its thing and we'll see where the ships go lol.

three.  i  am  a  novella  writer,  usually  about  3-5  paragraphs  in  length  (sometimes  more)  with  slight  formatting  and  of  and  on  usage  of  icons.  i  really  do  not  expect  to  be  matched  word  for  word,  but  effort  is  always  appreciated.  i  tend  to  really  enjoy  character  introspection  -  as  well  as  dialogue,  and  gojo  is  a  bit  of  a  yapper,  so  apologies  in  advance  if  he  talks  the  ears  off  your  muse.  

additionally.  the  content  of  writing  on  this  blog  will  be  dark.  jujutsu  kaisen  is  not  a  light-hearted  series,  and  gojo  himself  not  a  particularly  gentle  character.  writings  may  include  violence,  physical  trauma,  psychological  trauma,  gore,  religious  trauma,  elements  of  horror,  drug  usage,  and  sexual  themes/smut.  triggers  and  other  unsafe  content  will  be  either  read  mored  and/or  tagged.  i  tag  them  as  follows:  '  tag  here  /  '.

four.  shipping  is  a  delight  -  and  something  i  shamelessly  do  enjoy.  gojo  is  extremely  flirtatious,  unfortunately  absurdly  attractive,  and  somehow  simultaneously  the  worst  person  in  existence  -  all  that  said,  if  he  does  flirt  it  does  not  necessarily  mean  shipping  is  on  the  table.  if  a  thread  or  plotting  seems  to  be  going  that  way  -  i'm  happy  to  discuss  if  it's  something  post  parties  are  interested  in.  i  also  can't  believe  i  have  to  type  this  but  i  do  not  ship  gojo  with  any  of  his  students.  ew.  

IMPORTANT.  i  do  headcanon  gojo  to  be  gay,  and  he's  not  closeted  regarding  it  in  the  slightest.  his  feelings  about  suguru  are  on  a  case  by  case  basis  and  up  to  the  writer  involved,  but  he  does  default  to  having  had  romantic  feelings  regarding  him  in  the  past.  

five.  i  don't  like  ship  exclusivity  and  i  dislike  interaction  exclusivity  even  more  so.  i  think  it  alienates  new  rpers  from  a  space,  as  well  as  closes  off  potential  interactions.  however  -  i  do  understand  that  sometimes  we  have  people  that  fulfill  what  we  want  within  a  ship  or  dynamic  so  with  that  said,  only  under  very  rare  circumstances  do  i  participate  in  exclusivity.  i  do  have  mains  (or  affiliates)  which  i  typically  list  on  my  pinned  or  carrd.  

six.  drama  is  a  hard  no.  i'm 30+  and  really  not  interested  in  any  aspects  of  it.  as  for  callout  culture,  i  do  not  participate  unless  the  person  the  callout  is  for  poses  a  risk  to  others  offline  or  other  extreme  circumstances.  to  summarize,  i  am  here  to  relax  -  to  write  my  silly  little  sweet-toothed  sorcerer  and  have  a  good  time.  drama,  possessiveness  for  me  as  a  mun,  and  the  other  standards  are  the  fastest  way  to  get  you  blocked  and  evicted  from  my  life.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : not reading my rules. becomes obvious when you don't. especially with a couple character or plot types i list that i don't feel comfortable writing and they get pushed on me. always read rules so you start out on a good page. it's so important! using roleplay to make yourself seem better than others. whether that be that you're more virtuous than them (as my buddy ava said) because they write things you don't like (rant to a bud, get your feelers out, block and move on??) or way more hip, progressive or whatever for plots you do or won't do or fcs or graphics you use. we're all just here writing. it's not that serious. have fun with it. curate your experience. screw anon button on. you'll be way less stressed. and a tiny one. refollowing on repeat. but that just gets a block eventually. and super easy to handle.

MUSE PREFERENCES : flawed heroes, burdened souls that are good people deep down, the distant person that has walls because of self-preservation, kind souls that've been burned too many times that they are cautious to warm up to others. misunderstood, thoughtful types. characters that still need to learn themselves and grow. on the complete opposite side? completely unhinged psychopaths, sociopaths, whatever else that falls under that line.

PLOTS OR MEMES : ava said this really well. memes are the easiest way to get my attention. i don't mind sending them in. or having them sent (though rn my inbox is a little big but i'm working on it, might just take me some time!). and then from there as we build up, if we match well, plotting is something i LOVE to do. i get that some don't though and i'm always more than fine winging it to see what happens. pretty flexible. but i really do love things that stick between muses.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : i write a lot most of the time. usually on accident. sometimes i get carried away and am enjoying myself. i, in no way, expect replies to match length and i mean it. i just need smth to work with. i've been keeping some posts purposefully shorter. especially meme replies as i work through my inbox. we can expand or shrink as needed!

BEST TIME TO WRITE : usually really late at night. i'm a night owl with insomnia and, as much as sarah threatens to beat me with a chair? i find sleep difficult. writing helps that!

standard procedure, no info-modding or god-modding, frieren is a legendary mage of immense power and knowledge presently over one thousand years old. she is incredibly dangerous, incredibly lazy, but at the end of the day she is unbelievably powerful. proceed with caution if you're set on fighting her, as i tend to avoid fight threads, the odds are unlikely anyway given her lazy nature but still. she is incredibly wise and silly at the same time , callous and surprisingly thoughtful ( sometimes) and as her ‘time’ moves so much slower than other people, my writing aims to reflect that.

this rule of my boundaries set also applies to drama , callouts , and vague-posting. alongside homophobia / transphobia / racism and any form of unkind , inhumane conduct or bigotry will not be tolerated here. kindness will, but immaturity and cruel behavior will not.

while not unkillable, all fight scenes or conflict i'd like to plot out with you via primarily dms / my inbox as for now my ims are broken ! frieren can lose in a fight, as mentioned by frieren herself that in her lifespan she's lost at least eleven times , that said, with her hunger for more spells and grimoires, she will only increase in knowledge . 

as i continue exploring frieren, which is a very low key blog, expect slow replies please, and be patient as i will be with you, this is a very easygoing paced space! :) ! that said i will never pressure you into replies, so please go at your own pace too ! in terms of writing length, i tend to match my partner but have no real expectation of length or quantity as long as my passion is matched and i have something to work with. i am perfectly fine winging it and plotting just as much.

as far as ‘ shipping ‘ goes, the likelihood is nonexistent due to how frieren processes time, her own near immortal lifespan, and frieren herself. i feel sousou no frieren also is more heavy on the emphasis of the bonds of platonic and familial carry many of her new and old relationships. if it happens romantically (?), it's gonna be v rare, v plotted, and another 50 years long, and the only 'ship' i really see would ship is frieren / himmel . tl;dr: it's not the focus.

The warehouse was eerily silent, something Face tried desperately not to think about. BA was not a quiet man either by nature or inclination, so Face had expected to just follow all the noises his friend made, using them as a guide for his search. But he had been wandering around this cavernous space for almost an hour now, and the only sounds he could hear were the waves sloshing against the docks outside, the rare nocturnally active seagull, and the hum of fluorescent lights. Cautiously turning a corner around a pile of crates, Face’s eyes shot upward for any sign of a trap or ambush. He never saw the obstruction in his path until he tripped, tumbling onto his knees despite a desperate struggle to right himself against the boxes. The sounds of his bad knee hitting the cement, followed by an obscenity he rarely allowed himself to use these days, echoed through the warehouse. Sitting upright, hands automatically going to his leg, Face scanned the area for the tripwire that must have caught his foot. All he saw was a leg sported camo pants and a red sneaker. “BA?” The foot twitched, its owner still alive at least. Scrambling to his feet, Face followed the leg and quickly located his friend. The muscle man sat slumped and unconscious on a pile of broken crates. From the trail of destruction behind him, Face guessed it had been quite a fight but even BA could not take down multiple assailants by himself. If he had taken anyone with him, which Face was sure he had, their buddies had already dragged them out of there. Smart enough not to get too close to BA until he was awake and cognizant of the world around him, Face satisfied himself with lightly kicking BA’s leg. “Come on BA… wake up. The Colonel’s turning half the city upside down looking for you.” It took several minutes of jostling and prodding but the Sargent finally started flicking his eyelids. Another minute or two found BA opening the one eye he could—the other one appeared to be swollen shut. How bad the injury really was would not be clear until Face got his friend out of the shadow-covered warehouse and into some proper lighting. BA rumbled back to the land of the living with a grumble and a shaky swipe from his fist. Face prudently stepped back until he was out of range. “You with me, BA?” “Face Man?” BA tried to prop himself up with one hand, the one he had fisted and swung at his friend out of instinct. “Yeah.” Face cautiously took a few steps forward now that BA confirmed his identity. “You okay? You look like you went about ten rounds with Muhammad Ali.” “Nine of them.” BA squinted at his friend. “There were nine of ‘em…took three down…” he pressed his other hand into the floor and yelped. “They got my wrist all messed up, man!” “They messed up a lot more than that.” Face observed grimly as he crouched down. “They must have ganged up on you. Do you know who they were?” BA nodded, confirming Face’s suspicion that several men jumped him at once. “A couple of ‘em were low weight muscle ‘round here.. the kinda suckers people hire in bars for ugly jobs. Don’t know who hired them but ain’t that many slugs we’re tangling with right now.” “Oh, I’m sure it was Jim Hansville.” Face stated. “He had a few goons try to jump Murdock at the VA.” BA started but before he could speak, Face held up his hand. “Murdock’s fine—he just used the confusion to sneak out and warn us. According to him, the new head night nurse is on her second career. Her first was bouncing Godzilla out of Tokyo.” Giving BA a minute to finish getting his bearings, Face continued. “Murdock found me at the Hyatt—you know I’m staying there right now—and we called Hannibal from there. One or two goons might have tried to come in—I saw security throwing a few rough characters out when I went downstairs to collect Hannibal. He picked up Amy on the way in case someone decided to draw her in too, but none of us could reach you. That’s why we came looking.” “Those scumballs used a kid, man!” BA snapped at Face. “Had a kid come tell me his little sister went missing down here, and I had to come help him find her! Then I got jumped!” Face grimaced. It was an ugly plan, but not unheard of. Poor kids, especially the ones living on the streets with nowhere to go, would do any number of errands for a few bucks. “Was it a kid you knew?” “Nah.” BA grumbled, trying to push himself to his feet. Face stood up and offered his hand. BA accepted it and, with a firm pull from the con artist and a strong push from the mechanic, they leveraged the muscleman up off the cement floor. BA wavered for a few minutes, having to lean against the crates as he found his center of balance again. “Well… if you see him again, let me know. I don’t think you’d be fit to deal with him, given what happened, but I might be able to get him some better survival options then betraying people to leg breakers.” Grumbling under his breath, BA just nodded. Now that he was upright, he realized he had no energy to spare on idle chitchat. Face accepted that. Reaching out to snag BA’s elbow before his friend could fall over, he started guiding the dazed man out of the warehouse. “Come on—Amy and I were searching through this half the docks while Murdock and the Colonel took the other half. Let’s get you back to my Vette. You can rest while I get Amy and tell Hannibal that we found you. Then I’m taking you to see Doctor Billings.” “The vet?” BA stumbled and caught himself on Face’s shoulder. Face managed to hold steady under his friend’s weight. “There’s not that much difference between animals and people, BA. You know that.” He reminded the mechanic patiently. “Besides, he accepts cash, he doesn’t ask questions, and he doesn’t make me do paperwork. What more can I ask for?” “I guess you gotta a point.” BA agreed after a minute before gruffly adding, “I still don’t like going to a vet though! It ain’t right!” “I’ll be sure to note that complaint in your file.” Face stated drily, spotting the door of the warehouse up ahead. It was partially open, and the silhouette of a woman assured him that help was on the way. A few seconds later, Amy ran over to support BA on his other side. “I already radioed Hannibal when I saw you two coming out.” She explained. “And from what BA said, I’m guessing our next stop is Dr. Billings?” “See BA?” Face stated sweetly as he nodded to Amy. “Amy agrees with me… now just behave yourself and try not to break his arm this time, okay? Understandably, he charged me triple for that the last time I had to take you to him.” Face knew that he was lucky—BA was exhausted enough that his argumentative nature had, for once, been muted to a dull shell of itself. BA stayed silent until they reached the door, squinting against the rich orangey-red light spilling over the docks as the sun slipped below the horizon. “Fine.” BA agreed at last. “Long as he don’t shoot me up with anything weird! I just want him to fix up my wrist and get some ice on my eye so I can see again!” “Deal.” Face stated. “I will request only the most basic of treatments for you, and we can stop at a drug store on the way back to my place for ice packs and pain killers. Amy, you’re my witness.” The trio hobbled down the wharf until they reached the painfully conspicuous Corvette. Amy slipped away to get the passenger door open while Face stayed with BA to make sure he could cover the last bit of the distance. As Face managed to flop his friend into the passenger seat, BA grabbed the con artist’s shoulder with his good hand. “Thanks for looking for me, man.” Face patted his friend’s hand lightly and smiled, “You’d do the same for me, BA. okay let's see since my accidental grad school related hiatus my average original post notes amount is, like, really low. i haven't been making much art and a lot of my mutuals from back in the day are either no longer active or not in the fandoms that i'm making text posts about.

also: my 14k+ notes neil patrick harris/lin manuel miranda 2013 tony awards opening gifset is an outlier and should not be counted, so i'm subtracting it from my stats lol

so i've got 33,832 posts with 31,048 reblogs (tumblr user since 2009 baybee!). of the remaining 2,784 posts, one is the aforementioned outlier. the rest is a mix of very-low note count posts from my very early days, very-low note count posts bc they're random personal musings, mostly low note fandom text posts, and a mix of semi-successful art posts from various fandoms (both "edits" which are still fanart goddammit and gifsets, but from the days when gifsets were still size-limited and weren't elaborate edits that moved).

so my average notes per post is 13.06, but that's including a lot of posts i never expected to get more than a handful of replies from my long-time mutuals bc they were just text posts about my life. like, i get the feeling that a lot of people currently maintain several side blogs to do all the things we used to do on single blogs--personal posts, random reblogs, fandom reblogs, fandom text and art posts, etc.

my top non-outlier gifset (aka my 2nd most successful post) is a damon/elena morning after gifset with 1,166 notes; this eleventh doctor screencap edit is my top non-gifset post with 820 notes, and this critical role campaign 3 text post that aabria reblogged is my top text post with 732 notes.

if you wanna see all my art and gifsets, check out my stuff i made tag! the most recent thing i posted was this darklina edit to go along with the fifth chapter of my darklina wip, and it got, uh, 13 notes. it's fine i'm fine. looking back at that tag is also interesting because the immediate drop in my fandom productivity after i started grad school in the summer of 2014 is stunning. don't go to grad school, it's a trap. (i mean, go if you want but, like. it's a trap.) so the vast majority of my stuff is from 2013 and before. but still, check it out i guess.

This blog is absolutely OCxCanon friendly. I love hearing about OCs and seeing the depth and complexity that has been put into them. However: if your OC has little to no information/development, or if their sole priority is getting to flirt with my muse, please do not interact. I've been through 10+ years on tumblr and had too many experiences in the past with blogs whose existence is purely based around wanting to bang my muse. This rule especially applies to Canon characters as well. It really grates on me. It's nothing personal, and writing only gets better with practice. But I have to really put my foot down on this one.

I will only ship with your muse after discussing it out of character. IC flirting is the only exception to this, but do not get angry if Akira does not respond the way you want him to.

I don't want to have to put that here, but it's happened to me too many times before and it's an uncomfortable situation for everyone involved. Please don't do it.

On this blog I DO NOT PRACTICE EXCLUSIVITY. In certain circumstances however, my muse may reference yours in a thread that may not involve them. This is HIGHLY situational and verse dependent.

Lastly, I value the mun behind the muse for all my RP partners, and I am ultimately here to make friends as well as create wonderful stories.
