There's this level of respect I get from rabbis for converting at this point in time, but... Has there ever been a good time to be a jew in the last thousand years or so plus? I'm imagining that rabbis and jews in general back in 1492, back in 1290, back in 1349 would have said the exact same thing. So, really, there is only a time to be a jew. Maybe it's not a "good" time, yes, but it is a time. And to me, that's good enough

I… think it’s so lame and embarrassing but I HAVE dealt with a fucking. Gambling addiction in the past lmfao there’s not much to it but yeah it was bad

So um. There’s a lot of substance abuse in the family and since I’ve already dealt with the lame gambling thing I do a lot to prevent other stuff from happening to me personally like I never keep alcohol in the house and as much as I like to have a good time I never buy ~party favors~ directly or like allow myself to have those connections/contacts

and yet I STILL found a way to abuse cigarettes about uhhh 10 years ago because it was the only thing I let myself have access to. It started with cigars in Cuba and by the time I moved to China YOH I was smoking a pack a night. Found out it was an issue when a friend took them from me once out of concern and I started crying and begging for them back, it was NOT pretty. I decided to quit cold turkey by myself 5 years ago and I got SO SICK when my body adjusted to like. Not poisoning itself. Anyway. Even nowadays I still crave them and I know if I even have one again I’m fucked but I never want to get that sick again so I JUST DONT

The Lord revealed a truth to me last night about why I sheltered myself from emotions and why I would say I don’t like being human.

There were many times when I would be scolded, teased or even mocked for being emotional.

Because of those interactions, the Lord revealed that is why I don’t like feeling emotion and yet, the truth is…I am emotion.

I feel.

That is why I am creative in art, dance and writing. Everything I create comes by my feeling, my emotions.

However, I find myself at times literally stopping “me” from saying “I feel” and yet without realizing it, it comes forth because that IS me.

What if one of the reasons I am here is to know that it is okay to express my emotions and experience them.

Hmmm 🤔 That makes me wonder what I may have been like in a life before this?

I love taituk they’re so funny. they’re simultaneously really cool and capable and. kind of a loser. wet cat of a woman (not actually a woman). a dykefag AND a fagdyke. they can’t tell when people are flirting with them and suaveness is Not in their vocabulary. everyone wants them and they’re involved with quite literally every crew member their age. their reaction to there being “men’s work” and “women’s work” is “I will simply do everything. all of the work.” they’re fine with the concept & reality of death but thinking about killing somebody with their own hands makes them physically ill. they will quite literally heal their enemies so they don’t die. they’re eldestsiblingcore but only see their siblings like. twice a year. they could be stabbed and bleeding out and their only reaction would be “ugh now my favourite jacket will be stained :/”. they don’t know what’s going on at any given moment. they’ve been permanently banned from the ship’s kitchen even though they’re the captain. by god they’re even transgender. they’ve even got long hair
