     Oh, what a dreadful thought-- the boy cuts himself off before the words can leave his lips, for the idea of seeing that man look upon him with an expression of disappointment or scorn is enough to send Saias’ heart plummeting down into the pit of his stomach. He was told to behave himself-- to then sneak off solely to practise magic with the other, friend or not, would be disobeying such a set of words said to him by the redhead’s mother.       Then again, the other boy is just about the only other person around his age that the child knows, and it feels utterly wrong to decline his request. Perhaps no-one would notice if he were to disappear for a few minutes. It is not as though anyone aside from his mother and, every now and then, his father notice his existence, anyway.
