shxtteredillusions asked:  ©© for all the dragons
Send “©” for a muse fact
Tumblr media
Jianhuren, in actuality, is not very good at asking for help. Since they’re so used to being the eldest of the dragons and the one that others come to for help, they developed a habit of keeping any negativity to themselves. Especially after the ordeal with Qingshan, which actually causes them a great amount of pain and distress.
Jianhuren is not a good cook at all. Not for lack of skill or patience but they tend to space out or get distracted whenever doing so, coupled with the fact that they don’t ever have to cook often to begin with, leads to it being better if they do food prep or cleanup instead. Many a time has something accidentally caught on fire at the oven with Jianhuren right there in the same room
Tumblr media
It was Qingshan who introduced Huaxiu to spicier food, she took him out to eat one day and, deciding to mess with her stuffy little student, decided to order the spiciest dish on the menu for him. Needless to say she was surprised when he loved it.
She can make simple dishes but is by no means extremely skilled, mainly because she didn’t have any interest in cultivating her culinary skill. Also, she was the one mainly putting out the fires in Jianhuren’s kitchen.
Tumblr media
Despite all of his talk about how he no longer associates himself with the red eyes anymore and is only willing really to bother with Jianhuren at all, Zhaohui still unintentionally finds himself slipping into that “Us/Them” mentality that the other red eyes are prone to. That is, he tends to default to still considering the red eyes like comrades and others as, well, outsiders to their affairs.
Due to the curse placed on him by the gods for his betrayal, his pain tolerance is astronomically high. And once the curse is removed? Not many wounds would faze him or cause him pause at all.
Tumblr media
Huaxiu is by no means a lightweight and can hold his liquor extremely well. One of his favorite pastimes when he was younger was to go to lavish tea houses, listen to the entertainment, order food and wine, and dazzle others with his looks, tolerance, and clearly wealthy disposition. Basically, he was a rich boy who liked indulging himself (maybe it was a byproduct of the years spent training under Qingshan where he lived more simply)
In his library, Huaxiu has countless ancient books and documents that are old enough to be in a museum. Among those, hidden away, are a few certain “books” he obtained when he was younger before he even met Jiao. As time went and he grew older he considered throwing them away, but by that point they were old enough to be considered historical artifacts, and so they remained, although hidden away inside thicker and boring texts so that no one would ever find them. He forgets they’re even there most of the time but would definitely die from embarrassment if anyone ever found them.
Tumblr media
In the few instances she’s encountered him, and of course in the future, Meihui calls Huaxiu “gege” but really she doesn’t have to. They’re extremely close in age by dragon standards, with her being 2,000 and Huaxiu 2,500, so he’s not nearly older enough for her to call him that. It’s just a testament to her teasing personality and her messing a bit with how he tends to act.
Meihui and Xiaodan visit Jianhuren for New Years not only because of their fond feelings for the elder of course, but also because even with Qingshan there before, Jianhuren’s other pupil was always noticeably absent and didn’t often come by to visit. They didn’t want Jianhuren to get lonely.
Tumblr media
Not every dragon in existence was created by the Dragon God like how all of the red eyes were made by him, Meihui for example wasn’t. But Xiaodan was and it was the Dragon God himself who put the seal on his powers during the time he was searching for Jianhuren. Due to this connection, he’s a little bit more familiar with the deity than any “normal” dragons.
He doesn’t look it at all but he actually has a soft spot for kids! He just doesn’t know how to act around them but he finds them very cute. Of note is in the future when Xianzi comes around, anytime Meihui shows up to help train her guess who just so happens to be there with her? Don’t point it out though or he’ll get huffy.
Tumblr media
It may not look it but Vasilios ends up having a hefty influence on Minglian just like Huaxiu. Namely, from him teaching her and showing her how he builds things started a love for creation for her. Afterwards, Minglian will find herself interested in drawing, painting, and playing instruments and shows a talent in all of it too.
Her favorite flower is the lotus. Not because of her name (Lian 莲 means lotus) but because she became enamored with the lotus flowers that grew in the lake at Huaxiu’s estate.
Bonus third: While at first Huaxiu just handled both of their laundry, eventually after their emotions being returned Minglian asked to be in charge of her own stuff. Huaxiu was a bit confused but agreed, not realizing that it was because the embarrassment and realization hit her all of a sudden that he was handling all of her clothes, underthings included. Huaxiu doesn’t know the reason but if he did he still wouldn’t get it because he was the one who picked out and bought them in the first place, and thus has already seen them.

☀️ Summer Wedding☀️
- by Lychee Rain
A contractual marriage turns Wen Yanran’s ten-year secret crush into reality.
• Before Marriage
When Shen Tingshu proposed marriage to her, Wen Yanran was momentarily shocked.
“If this is a proposal, may I ask why me?” she asked bluntly.
Shen Tingshu looked at her calmly with eyes as deep as ink, “Among my blind date candidates, you are the quietest. I’m not very talkative myself and prefer not to have a talkative partner.”
His response was as calm and rational as always, like finding the optimal solution to a problem.
Upon hearing his answer, Wen Yanran smiled bitterly.
• After Marriage
Shen Tingshu said seriously, “Did you know? If the Earth were 108 million kilometers from the Sun, it would likely be like Venus today, with surface temperatures reaching 464°C, making life impossible.”
Wen Yanran looked at him, puzzled.
Shen Tingshu continued, “If the Earth were 778 million kilometers from the Sun, it might resemble Jupiter now, becoming a gaseous planet unable to support life.”
Wen Yanran asked in confusion, “What are you trying to say?”
Shen Tingshu replied, “But the Earth is just right at 150 million kilometers from the Sun.”
Wen Yanran questioned, “So, it’s just right?”
Shen Tingshu nodded, “Yes, just right.”
“There are 8 billion people on Earth, and I happened to meet you at just the right time,” he said.
Wen Yanran responded, “…”

( @arcxnumvitae ) asked:  By the time the Pureblood would have noticed the scent of another in his room upon entering, Qingshan was already closing the door behind him and shutting off the only other exit. “Leventis Vasilios,” said the dragon in lieu of a greeting. It had been easier than expected to find his current whereabouts, but she hadn’t anticipated him to have joined in with the Japanese clans. Back resting against the door and her arms crossed in front of her, she fixed him with a long look, taking in his appearance. “You’re friends with Huaxiu, yes?”
Will this breakup finally be resolved???
Disheveled didn’t even begin to describe the Pureblood’s appearance. Typically the image of order, now stood a mess of blond locks, wrinkled clothes, and intoxication. The ache in his heart still weighs heavily, the loss of any sense of hope tearing away at what little will he had left to continue. His brief conversation with Huaxiu, if you could even call it that, only made things worse and now... he didn’t know what to do. So instead, he turned to alcohol, the one thing that could never let him down. Never disappoint. Never abandon him.
Tumblr media
Feet nearly trip on their way into the room, caught off guard by both the voice and the scent and yet, when soft blue eyes, rimmed with red from the tears he fought with all his might to keep from falling, fell upon the dragon, he didn’t even seem surprised. He stares, not a word spoken for a long moment before a heavy sigh escapes and he raises the now empty bottle of liquor to pear in through the mouth. “What th-the hell d-did they... put in my d-drink?”
Surely, that must be it... right? Because there was surely no way that Qingshan, of all people, was standing here. In his room. At this very moment.
Of course not.
Not when he knew that the gods had punished her for her crimes. Punished her for all that she had done to Huaxiu...
It had to be another illusion...

Three days later Prince Qi arrives, his household and his children trailing behind him. The camp rings with the shocked cries of ministers, with his mother’s screams. Lin Shu watches his family draw close, a tight knot of misery at the army’s heart. Consort Chen clutches at her son and grandchildren, and his own parents press close. They are all of them slumped, defeated. Despair crowds the camp, hangs in the air, and falls heaviest here in the miserable center. Lin Shu feels his fingernails cut into his palms. His hands shake. He turns from his family and walks out of camp, head high and shoulders back.
The black hallways yield before him, long and straight beneath his feet. He does not hurry. He feels the weight of his purpose with every silent step. He raises his head as the walls fall away but it is not the garden that greets him. No soft black earth beneath his feet, no swaying plum blossoms before his eyes. There is only polished stone, and at the end of this wider hall a throne. The lord of death sits there. Against the black of the hall his white robes seem to glow. His face is still as stone, his gaze as heavy.
His strides are even, loose. His arms hang ready at his sides. His jaw is tight. Lin Shu keeps his eyes up as he draws to the foot of the throne, and the lord of death meets them. He arches a single brow.
“Send him back.”
Lin Chen’s mouth quirks in obviously stifled laughter. “Absolutely not.”
“The country needs him.”
“You know, most of your tent city believes you to be the brightest light of your generation. How is it that after so much time you still don’t know where you are?”
“You can make an exception. These are your lands and subject to your laws—”
“And yet I still have an army camp squatting in my foyer.”
“You must have some way.”
“Little marshal, the laws of my realm are not yours to command, no matter how certain you may be. I must have nothing. Your prince took the poison when it was offered. Everyone but you knows that this matter is ended.” Lin Chen surveys him and his gaze is not unkind but it holds no sympathy. He flicks his fan out, the gesture somehow both knife sharp and indifferent. “Run back to your camp, mayfly. My new guest is waiting for you.”
He can feel the muscles jump in his jaw, and the shift of his teeth as he grits them. He clenches his fists against his shaking hands and feels his nails dig into his palms. His tongue is dead in his mouth. He flees the throne room and does not look back.
Prince Qi is indeed waiting for him at camp, as are his parents and his aunt. Despair still hangs thick over the army, but it is a quieter thing now. The sounds of crying have died out and his father’s tears have dried, though his parents hands are still clutched at each other, tight enough to show bone under the skin. The atmosphere is choking, stagnant, even in this breathless place.
His cousin catches his eye as he returns, and rises to meet him. Lin Shu follows him out of camp, and into the endless black hallways that stretch away and along the river. They walk in silence, time passing unmarked, and the sounds of camp fade behind them. They could be walking through the palace halls now, as they have so many times before, if not for the endless, featureless black stone, if not for the shadows in his cousin’s eyes.
“My father sent me poison.” The words are stark, ugly things, falling from the prince’s lips to shatter on the stone floor. “He sent it with Jinghuan, and I took it.”
“Xie Yu ambushed us. We had just turned away the armies of Da Yu. We thought they were reinforcements, and they slaughtered us like animals.”
His cousin closes his eyes, nods once. “He told the emperor that you had conspired with me to rebel. I do not know why my father believed him, but he did.”
“There was a forged letter. Xia Jiang gave Xie Yu samples of Nie Feng Da-ge’s handwriting.”
Jingyu looks at him sharply, surprised. It lasts but a moment before he nods, head heavy with unspoken weariness. “Xia Jiang then. We were outmaneuvered. But how do you know this?”
“I’ve had some time here. I’ve been looking for answers. The scholar who made the forgery died not long ago.”
Jingyu accepts the explanation, and Lin Shu momentarily wonders why he has not mentioned the garden, or the god who dwells there. It is not like him to keep things from his cousin, but some instinct ties his tongue.
“This is death then? This camp? These hallways?” He shakes his head. “There are fields beyond the river. The camp is only our own people, the army, some ministers, your household and mine. It is all our people though, I think. We are waiting for our honor to be restored.”
Jingyu hesitates, uncharacteristic uncertainty clouding his brow. “The princess consort is not there.”
Lin Shu feels ice bloom under his ribs like winter plum blossoms. His cousin’s children had followed their father in a pale and ragged line, each one frightened and lost. They had clung to him and to each other, but it is true that their mother was not with them. “You don’t think she found some way to survive.”
His cousin’s mouth is a hard line. His eyes stare forward unseeing. “She is two months pregnant. We had told almost no one. If she lives—”
Hope is a knife at his throat. It is almost too cruel a thing to wish for, for this child, for its mother. “Who knows?”
“Not even all of the servants know. Only Qingshan’s closest personal staff. It is early yet.”
“The imperial physicians?”
Jingyu shakes his head. “Aunt Jing examined Qingshan and found her to be in good health. We had not wished to trouble the imperial physicians so early when there was no real need. My mother knew as well of course.” His steps falter, just barely. “I suppose there’s no hurry knowing, now.” His eyes are terribly empty.
“This matter isn’t ended.” The words leave him in a rush. “Jingyan is still alive, there are allies still, in court. We will see our names cleared before we cross the river. Do not despair, cousin. I will see it done.”
Jingyu does stop at that, and turns to meet his eyes. His smile is impossibly gentle and endlessly sad. “Alright, Xiao-shu.”
“Make a bet with me.” The words fly from his lips and he tastes blood in their passing. Lin Chen’s eyebrows rise slowly.
“What?”
“Make a bet with me.” His voice does not shake. “You say that this is the end of the matter, but I say that Jingyan will not betray his brother, anymore than he would believe my father a traitor. I say he will not let this stand. If Jingyan should betray us, you have your victory. If he should not, if he keeps faith, I have mine.”
“And you will send your prince back to claim his rightful throne?”
He thinks of Jingyu, shoulders slumped in defeat, of the shadow of despair in his eyes. He thinks of seventy thousand souls on the riverbank, of his father’s broken silence, and a court like a basket of vipers in the world above. He thinks of the Emperor on his throne, his narrowed suspicious eyes and the anger that never seems to leave his voice. He thinks of a child waiting to be born.
“No.” Even as it leaves his throat the word surprises him. It certainly surprises Lin Chen, who cocks his head in unmistakable curiosity.
“Send me back.” The smirk that breaks over Lin Chen’s face now is unmistakably derisive. “Not to be Emperor. Send me back and I will find some way to prove our innocence. I can clear our names and restore our honor. See justice done. I will lay our souls to rest.”
“You’re very confident.”
“I know some of what was done to send us here, more perhaps than anyone who did not have a hand in its doing. It is a small advantage. And I am dedicated. With everything that was taken from me I have nothing to lose.” He feels the straight line of his back, unbowed even now. War has not finished him, betrayal has not broken him. He has borne up under the scrutiny of death itself, and stood his ground. He meets that black gaze now with all of the certainty of his soul.
Lin Chen’s eyes narrow. “And if you lose?”
There is iron in his soul. He is as strong and unmoving as the cliffs of Meiling. His voice does not shake. “If I am wrong I will lead us over the river myself. We will move on and I will never trouble your garden or your entry hall again.”
Every trace of humor has left Lin Chen’s face. His face is as still and severe as if he were carved from the stone of the halls. His eyes are ancient, fathomless. They rest on Lin Shu’s face as heavy as time itself, freighted with the fullness of uncounted lives, uncounted griefs. He is caught by them, cannot look away.
Finally, the god speaks. “Do you swear to the terms?”
The blood on his tongue is bright as copper. “I swear by my honor and the honor of the Chiyan army.”
Lin Chen snorts. “Not worth much is it, that vow, considering? Still, it will have to do. You have your wager mayfly.”
His mouth falls open at the insult, but all that comes out is an embarrassing squeak of outrage. Lin Chen’s eyes dance with mirth. He looks almost human now, but for the power rolling off of him in palpable waves.

( @arcxnumvitae ) asked: Smash or pass Vasilios to Qingshan
Send “smash or pass” and my muse will answer honestly which they’d do Let’s just sow some fucking chaos then || Accepting
Tumblr media
A bit of a chuckle rumbled in his chest at the thought, something of an amused smile lingering on his lips. “While I’d say smash, I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t have any of it. Not that I blame her of course.” But at the same time, she was the same as Huaxiu… probably even close to him. Would something like that risk messing with what he has with him? Not like those two were an item but even then, such a thing could overly complicate something that has been rather good to him thus far. “Actually, pass.” Not that he was willing to elaborate any on why the sudden change.

Timeline: 16th December 2018, Sunday, nearly dawn... Location: Seoul, Witch’s Lair. Mood: Intrigued, determined, confused... Attire: See above; Kumi’s face. Music: Lux Aeterna. Featuring: Qingshan...
It has been exactly a week since Mamuro left the farm without Prince Korain. By now, the Prince and his sister, the Princess had reached Mamuro’s realm, far away from any danger. He decided that he wasn’t going to return to the Prince without the other’s missing friend and servant, Haru. Although Mamuro knew where to look for the servant, he was unsure how exactly he would get to him without dying himself. He remains strong, to his wonder, he feels his hoshi no tama even from afar... Mamuro visited the demon this certain Kumi was acquainted with and with the demon’s advice, he again visited the unnamed witch who he meet not so long ago by chance. Or was it fate that led him to the witch? The same way he met the fae Prince. With the key given to him on his first trip with the Prince in Seoul, he entered the witch’s lair, meeting a being he’d never seen before, petting a peculiar beast. Their eyes met, no words were exchanged but there was some sort of understanding between them; they were there for the witch.
It didn’t take long before the witch emerged from a darkened room, her attention immediately on Mamuro. “You finally returned. Here to claim your box?” She said, appearing much younger than when Mamuro first met her.
Box? Curious and confused, he kept his thought to himself and nodded his head. “Of course,” he replied.
“Are you sure you are here for it or are you still seeking for answers?”
The being standing by continued to pet the tiny beast not far from Mamuro who fell silent. Was he desperate enough to admit he was lost? He knew of the box the first meeting with the demon but he never figured out what was in it. Something very important, he thought to himself, reaching inside his pocket for the mysterious key. “I’m here for the box,” he said, voice with conviction but the look in his eyes must’ve deceived him as the witch paused, eyes fixed on him before speaking once again.
“Still searching for answers, I see.”
She walked away from the entrance of the darkened room and headed to the small kitchen where a brewing pot of tea sat on the counter. She prepared two cups, adding things to it here and there before stirring both cups with the same spoon.
“Sit,” she ordered as she carried the cups of tea to where Mamuro and the other visitor waited around.
Without any words, the pet enthusiast rose from the floor and obliged the witch meanwhile, Mamuro’s eyes followed the beast that looked like a cat but wasn’t exactly a regular cat. A demon, pretending to be a cat, he decided before moving his eyes to the tall figure that now approached the seats at the small table. Mamuro did the same, anxious, not happy with the new situation he found himself in once again...

🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?
💙 BLUE HEART — does your oc have any cool/special powers and/or abilities? how are they with magic, if it exists in their world?
For Zhaohui and Qingshan!
@soulsxng || details about ocs!
Tumblr media
🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?
He has a pretty bad habit of messing with his hair when it’s down, around his face, or within hands reach of him. Things like pulling on it, rolling a strand between his fingers, anything along those lines. It is actually pretty distracting to him though when he gets to messing with it, so it’s part of the reason why he keeps it tied up or back. It’s also indicative of him focusing or trying to focus on something if he pushes it back and redoes the tie.
He also has a bad habit of getting into people’s personal space whenever he’s getting more interested in what they say, or if he’s overall getting pretty into the conversation. This one he’s also aware about and whether he reels it in depends entirely on how nice he plans on being in that moment.
For someone always wearing a smile, Zhaohui’s “true face” is actually pretty expressionless. Once someone digs past the layers of joking, then rage, they’ll reach…nothing. It’s like hitting the roots of one of those dead, petrified trees. It’s a worrying phenomenon for sure (for me at least), and something that he actually fully hasn’t caught onto yet.
💙 BLUE HEART — does your oc have any cool/special powers and/or abilities? how are they with magic, if it exists in their world?
Zhaohui has his never mentioned pearl! He doesn’t ever really have a need to use it, but it’s there. As something often associated with dragons in Chinese mythology, Zhaohui’s pearl is something that was essentially born alongside him. It’s linked to him and he has the ability to use it essentially as a scrying ball and see whatever thing or person that he wants with it. An exception exists where locations of people with especially strong magical protections— or, in Jianhuren’s case when they were missing, exceptionally funky curse stuff going on— are unable to be seen by him. However, the pearl is still capable of showing him “truths”, like how it revealed to him the true story behind Jianhuren’s disappearance. It’s something unique just to him as a fucanglong and he rarely brings it out from its…basically hammerspace. More on that in a second. It’s about palm-sized, black, and glimmers with the a golden undertone that’s the same shade as the gold in his hair and scales.
Going off from that, and this will also dip into Qingshan’s abilities a bit, is his ability to use enchantments. Enchantments are basicallllllly spells granted for use solely by the Red Eyes where expertise and mastery can only come with time and practice. It’s, how to explain it? Its limitations are only the dragon’s imagination and ability.
One example is a translation one used by the Red Eyes whenever they’re out and about. Of course, it was on the dragon themself to learn a language since it still took time to master enchantments enough. For example, Huaxiu learned a whole host of languages because he could utilize the translator effectively enough, and Minglian hasn’t really gotten it down yet, so she’s still manually learning languages and can only communicate in certain ones. Other example of use include creating constructs, like platforms or restraints, and basically having a hammerspace the Red Eyes generally use to store their weapon when not in use but in case they might need to be whipped out.
Zhaohui’s mastery is basically abysmal. He can use the translation enchantment, hammerspace, a baby bit of construct creation though it’s not as strong as it could be, and that’s about it. He essentially stopped practicing and using it much after his banishment.
Geez, this is already long enough but I forgot about the basic stuff for dragons! I'll...put it in Qingshan's section since it won't be as long as I covered a lot of other basic stuff in this one.
Tumblr media
🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?
Qingshan has a tendency to fold and cross her arms in front of her! Cocking her head, she also of note makes facial expression very reminiscent to Huaxiu— or, more like, Huaxiu’s expressions harken back to her.
Give her something that’s in a pair of four and she’ll subtly do whatever to change the number. Four of one thing on a plate? She’s quietly either quickly eating one or destroying it with a utensil somehow. It’s more of a subconscious, ‘oh dear, four’, act than anything.
💙 BLUE HEART — does your oc have any cool/special powers and/or abilities? how are they with magic, if it exists in their world?
I already described the Red Eyes’ ability for enchantments at length! Haha, so let me just say Qingshan also didn’t practice as much because she was more interested in training with physical weapons, but she’s at least better than Zhaohui in terms of what she can do.
Going into dragon-specific stuff now! Dragons are hardy little lizards. Their scales are impervious can only be injured by enchanted metal-- metal enchanted by a specific process within their geographical area of supernaturals re: China. The gods also included this weakness in the Red Eyes so they didn't have servants that were too unstoppable, in case something went sideways one day. Anyways, enchanted metal can do a number on dragons and you can get creative with it! Get it in a liquid form? It'll mess up their insides. Powder? Probably won't be great if they breathe it in. So on.
Aside from that, dragons are generally all the usuals-- faster than humans, stronger, near instant healing ability. Some of the specific dragons have different abilities, like Meihui. Qingshan and the Red Eyes minus Zhaohui are Tianlongs-- Celestial dragons-- though.
I think I covered everything? I sure hope I did!

From the architect. Mylines Hotel is an interior renovation project situated in the vicinity of West Lake in Hangzhou, China. The design aims to provide unique spatial experiences for a specific group of people, i.e. couples and lovers seeking for an extraordinary love experience. Usually, in China, the love hotels lack the touch of genuine design from the professionals.Consequently, they are often flashy and amorous. In light of the status quo, Chun Shui Tang, the largest e-commerce enterprise of sex toys in China, has chosen to collaborate with LYCS Architecture to take on the challenge of redefining love hotels.
Tumblr media
Wu Qingshan
Situated on a site of 9000sqm, the hotel consists of 33 rooms, measuring 2200sqm building area. Each room is not only designed to arouse excitement, but also to offer an indispensable experience of relaxation, romance, emotional relief and passion. By studying primal human desires, LYCS has thematized and designed the rooms into the following five categories: narcissism, long-cherished lust, exposure, fantasy and romance. By manipulating the interior and exterior interfaces, scale of the rooms, the floor plans, acoustics and controlled illumination, various types of environments are created to stimulate, trigger and magnify the guests' inner desires.
Tumblr media
Wu Qingshan
Narcissism
In the rooms themed Narcissism, mirrors become an instrumental element for creating the atmosphere. From the ceiling of the aisles to the surface of the curtains, mirrors aroused generously as the wall finish. The shifting materials give ordinary objects additional dimensions. On the sensory aspect, mirrors do not only fulfill the narcissistic pleasure, but also extend the spatial perception of the room beyond its physically bounded dimensions.

The mini bar, desk and bed, which are conventionally separated objects, are now fused into one piece, accommodating multiple scenarios. The backboard of the bed serves as a place for drinking and working.
The illuminated icons and handrails on the wall are designed to spark guests' curiosity. In contrast to the immersive space of mirror imaging, the restroom gives a rough touch with cement finishing and meticulously carved voids, adding spice to the overall palate.
Tumblr media
Wu Qingshan
Lust
When it comes to love affairs, waiting isn't always so bad. Prolonged waiting time spent in solitude accumulates growing yearning for rejoice. Accordingly, a unique room type is designed using the psychological pattern as such.
Tumblr media
Wu Qingshan
The room plan is completely reconsidered: Conventional subordinate spaces such as bathroom, shower and corridors are reorganized to create a sequence of meandering space that enforces a period of inspiring waiting. Lovers are guided separately through two independent doors into his or her own bath, dressing area and eventually into the bedroom. The separate circulation creates a strong sense of ritual, while the longing for intimacy drives the guests for further exploration.
Tumblr media
Hu Xianjuan
Tumblr media
Wu Qingshan
Starting from the very beginning at the corridors, the entire room, including the finishing of walls, ceilings and even the furniture, is equally divided into two halves. The dueling partners of love affairs are signified by the juxtaposition of roughness and refinement expressed in the handling of material and construction details. The tension created by the distinctive spatial atmosphere on each side forms tension between lovers, calling for a battle through stalemate and engagement, thus imposing psychological influence through designing maneuver.
After experiencing the repressive corridors, lovers will find themselves encompassed by a stage, sofas and a bed where joy is to be found. The bathtub beside the window with a garden view marks the finale of this carefully orchestrated sequence of love rituals.
Tumblr media
Xiong Wei
Exposure
The room themed Exposure presents a new take on the notion of transparency. Guaranteed with absolute privacy, the room is designed to answer lovers' impulse for exposure, a pleasurable stress developed at the risk of ultimate privacy going public.
Tumblr media
Xiong Wei
All rooms of this type are situated in the periphery of the buildings in order to maximize the interface between the interior and the outside environment. Except for the entrance and bathing areas, the whole room is continuously glazed with full height one-way glass. The specified glass and translucent curtains ensure both sensational excitement and guaranteed privacy.
All main furniture pieces are laid out along the glass planes as to maximize the threat of exposure. The only exception is the bathtub which is placed in the center of the space, staging bathing as a performance that can be enjoyed by spectators on the sofa or the bed.
Tumblr media
Wu Qingshan
Fantasy
The status of Fantasy in one's mind is about focusing only on one's individuality, detached from the tedious earthly life. Thus the design of the room themed fantasy prioritizes creation of a purified and surreal environment of de-contextualization to make room for guests' hidden fantasy.
Tumblr media
Xiong Wei
White ceilings, floors and walls painted with misty forest celebrate a blank space stripped of color. The design eliminated all auxiliary furniture but two essential pieces, a sunken bed flush with the floor and a side table made of clear acrylic, dissolving their mass to the minimum.
From a floor level perspective, the guests are set to feel the absolute nothingness of the space while lying on the bed. The misty woods painted on the wall works with the shimmering beam from the floor lighting installed beneath the specially treated glass planes, creating a levitating illusion of being up above the clouds or alternatively deep beneath the waves. This sense of mystery encourages the guests to experience the subtle variation of their own movements.
Tumblr media
Wu Qingshan
The continuous glass screens of the bathroom room and the entrance leave vague visual contact possible. The mosaics with red-blue gradient cover the surfaces of the whole auxiliary spaces, giving a psychological hint of interaction.
Tumblr media
Wu Qingshan
Sadomasochism
Sadism and Masochism are deeply rooted in the primal callings in humanity. The design of rooms themed Sadomasochism aims for arousing feelings and intensification of SM situations and feelings associated with activities as such. Rugged surfaces, confining dimensions and dim lights form a spatial perception close to that of a secret chamber.
Tumblr media
Xiong Wei
The extensive metal meshwork can be found in the pre-function part of the room, serving as a semi-opaque screen, a stowage for tools and attach-point of sex props.
The other intention is to bring the sense of being captured (behind bars) to the guests, furthermore arousing their feeling of helplessness and oppression. The spatial setup will generally cause more emotional fluctuation, causing players better immersing into the game.
Tumblr media
Xiong Wei
The second phase of the room appears much more roomy, ensuring comfort stay of the guests. The minibar sits right next to the bed which is equipped with raised chassis and extra-wide backboard, calling for creative use.
Tumblr media
Xiong Wei
Romance
Having romantic experience is what all lovers dreamed of. The design of this room provides comfortable interior that intensify the interests in intimate interactions of lovers.
Tumblr media
Xiong Wei
Meanwhile, the space would boost the hormone level and promote the libido between lovers. Romantic as the concept in Chinese culture has its own vibe. Hazy lights and filmy shades are the key elements played out throughout the entire design. Screened with valance, the bed is treated as the main piece of the room, offering a semi-enclosed space with translucency. This tightening and enclosing space, together with the dreamy surroundings illuminated by fiber optics and candle lights form a charming environment.
Each room comes with its own bar and family theater, offering exclusive viewing experience. The layout of the sofas in the living room follows that of an ideal home, so that couples will feel free and safe while living in this space.

( @arcxnumvitae ) asked:
Arrogant whelp! He did not seem more than a few centuries old yet he had the audacity, inebriated or not, to speak to his elders in that manner? However, it was the mention of Huaxiu that truly had the woman’s eyes narrowing dangerously. In a flash of cold silver, the steel of one of the dragon’s swords rested against the vampire’s cool skin as she pushed him back against the bed with deadly speed. “Watch. Your. Tone.” The warning slid from her lips in a deadly, fanged hiss. With each word the sword dug in deeper until then barest trickle of red began to bead where the blade pressed. It was only a modicum of self-control and the knowledge that he may be important to her student that kept the dragon from reacting too violently against him. “Before I cut out your tongue and make you choke on it.”
Clearly, this was nothing more than a mistake. “I thought to approach someone who cared for him to ask, but instead all I get is a drunken fool blathering on about matters wholly beyond his understanding.”
Continued ask
Tumblr media
Empty blue eyes stare down at Qingshan, all luster that had once been present now gone and leaving behind nothing but the death of the man he used to be. The metallic scent of blood burned sensitive nostrils and yet, he didn’t flinch, refused to pull away as he continued to stare. “Go on, do it then.” A laugh rumbled softly in his chest, toeing the edge of insanity as his eyes widen and a smirk curls at the edges of cold lips. “You’ll be doing us all a favor.” His head leans in, pressing the blade harder against his neck as the cool metal bit further into his skin. The trail of blood thickened down his flesh, spreading to the once crisp white shirt and quickly ruining the elegant fabric.
The Pureblood had lost all sense of himself, powers running amok against a teetering mind as a figure began to appear behind the dragon. A familiar frame, though his hair was longer, a reminder of one of the many things Vasilios adored about Huaxiu that seemed a relic of the past now. “It’s okay, Lǎoshī, you can do it, kill him. Spare us all the headache of this pathetic man’s existence.”
Tumblr media
The illusion shifts, a few steps taken as he moves to stand beside Qingshan. “He does not deserve to live. Not after all he has done. It is only right that the punishment fit the crime.” Red eyes shift, staring directly at Vasilios’ chest where his heart resides beneath the frigid flesh. “A heart for a heart. At least this one is already dead.”

🎥 (Minglian)
@lunarxdaydream || Send 🎥 for a random scene of my muse’s life
Tumblr media
"Are you sure Laoshi won't mind?" Sure, Shifu had given the okay to "skip" her lessons with them, but her other teacher still thought she was with them! Still...the café was cute, and the delicately decorated cake on her plate before her tasted delicious. Paired with the blue sky above and the cool spring breeze that brushed against her cheek, it was a perfect day. Even if she was supposed to be training...
Tumblr media
"Xiao-Lian, what's the point of life if you're not a little rebellious?" Peering over the pair of sunglasses that shielded his eyes from the bright sun above, an equally as fanciful cake sitting partially-eaten before him, Zhaohui shot the girl a grin. "Besides, I've never met anyone even as half as studious and hardworking as you." His spoon dug into the spongy texture of the cake, and right before bringing it to his lips, the dragon laughed. "A break is well-deserved. If our dear, sweet Hua Hua is upset about it, I'll handle it."
"I think he'd be more upset about it being you who started this all rather than at me taking a day off..." Her spoon scraped idly against her plate, the younger dragon now suddenly intent on the cake before her. Zhaohui's brow rose.
"Something's on your mind." It wasn't a question.
Minglian pursed her lips in response before finally giving a small sigh. "Maybe...maybe Laoshi wouldn't get so upset if you didn't goad him so much, Zhao-ge. Sometimes it feels like you do things just to get a reaction from him." More like 'always'. She never knew the specifics of why her teacher and Zhaohui never seemed to get along and they had been like that ever since she was created. But, from what she understood, they only recently met not very long before that... There was a whole host of motivations and shared history among all of the others spanning centuries, if not millennia, that she wasn't privy to. Sometimes it always felt like she was playing catch up.
And that wasn't even getting into the history revolving around her predecessor... Her fingers tightened around the grip of her spoon.
Zhaohui didn't answer her for a long time, during which he took several more idle bites of his cake until only the crumbs remained on his plate. It was difficult to read the other's expressions behind his sunglasses. She almost wondered if she had crossed the line and angered him when the man suddenly let out a laugh that nearly startled her.
"哎呀, there's no need for the young one to worry her sweet head over the business of us fossils! What's between your teacher and I is between your teacher and I. Oh, don't pout like that!"
A blatant brushing off if there was any. She wanted to ask more but even just the mention of 'fossils' was enough to redden her cheeks. "How many times do I have to apologize for that! Ohh, I wish Laoshi hadn't told any of you about it!"
"But he did and now you have to live with it! In fact, I may need your help rising from this chair when we're done, my knees aren't quite what they used to be..."
She was going to throw something at him! And then cry!

Minglian, you must be truly loved by your fellow dragons. So much so, I'm sure they couldn't bear to see you hurt. Would put themselves on the line for you. Hopefully they survive it but what else could be done? It's not as though you have enough power to protect them.

“Um, but how many beings out there could rival in their strength and power?” She wasn’t naïve, she knew that of course there existed beings in this world that were stronger than her teachers and the others. They served deities after all. But, comparatively speaking, how many could there actually be?
“Of course I would love to protect my teachers however I can, and I train hard to improve my skills. Of course I would never want to think of any of them hurt,” the thought in itself was upsetting, “but I don’t hold any delusions of grandeur that I could be the tipping point for my teachers if they faced a foe even beyond their own abilities.”

Part 2
Tumblr media
"If you plan on stabbing me, can you at least make it quick? I want to get back before Aro and this whole thing," he gestured, "is already setting me back."
Tumblr media
She, of course, looked unimpressed. But rather than engage with his overly calm jokes, Qingshan instead responded, "I heard about what happened with the other dragons."
"What?" Zhaohui's eyes widened, then narrowed. "How do you know that? You certainly aren't attending weekly tea with Jianhuren or anything."
Yet again, frustratingly, rather than answer, Qingshan instead posed a question of her own. "So tell me, was it worth it? That outburst of rage?"
Zhaohui stilled, a sharp frown cutting across his face. "You would know, wouldn't you?"
"That's precisely why I'm asking." Qingshan crossed her arms, looking frustratingly unbothered by the cold. That aside, he still couldn't wrap his head around how she knew that he had rather handily decimated his ties with the others.
"You're just here to gloat, aren't you?"
A smile, one devoid of any warmth and as chilly as the air around them, graced the dragon's lips. "Maybe. Can you blame me? The one who backstabbed me for his own gain, falling down the same path that I did. Tell me, o disgraced one, how did the knife feel as it pierced your heart? Knowing that those would be your last moments of consciousness? And yet now you live here, blissful and with your little fox adoring your every move." Qingshan chuckled quietly, fire blazing in her eyes. "Enjoy it while it lasts. It never does with you."
A wry smile pulled at his lips. "Funny, why does everyone tell me that?"
Qingshan turned to leave, seemingly only having appeared just to taunt him about his latest bout of misfortune. It would be right up the vindictive woman's alley to do. She called over her shoulder as a parting, "Because it's you."
