💙 ⊹₊ ⋆ Ludwig is Autistic. Because I am!! He also has BPD.. BECAUSE I DO!!! whoopee!!! He doesn't especially like being touched by people and hasn't since he was Firstborn. Every time somebody touches him, he says "Touching." in a very crabby tone (bee and puppycat reference) and stares at them until they stop touching him. Cicada is exempt from this both because he likes them and because they have soft hands so it's ok. He has a special interest in music as a whole and loves composing his own pieces!!... Many of which are unfinished because he has big boy work to take care of, and because he keeps making more. He is organized with everything but his own music ... what a goober

🎼 ⊹₊ ⋆ Lore dump for context..... Bowser made a deal with this goddess lady because she doesn't like peach (lore reasons, please ask me about it) and the deal is to capture her yadda yadda ... In exchange for his compliance, the goddess gave him the seven rainbow kids (Koopalings!! wao) so that they could assist him in his mission. Bowser, now with this new stressful mission, ended up shoving Junior in Ludwig's hands..... for a while, Ludwig was Junior's primary caretaker while Bowser was stressing over the mission and other things, and he Hated it. This was pre-transition, so Junior would call Ludwig 'mini-mama' which he hated even more. While Ludwig doesn't hold any grudges against Junior for obvious reasons, he still feels weird if he has to take care of him for any reason. (Also, Junior's favorite sibling is Ludwig.. for obvious reasons!)

🪼 ⊹₊ ⋆ All of the Koopalings and Junior watch my little pony because its goated. Ludwig's favorite is Rarity (obvious, I know).. not because they have similar personalities, but because she has impeccable fashion sense. She also mildly inspired his little interest in sewing, an interest he carries that he'd never admit to anybody but Cicada. He sewed some of the outfits they wore when they were considered a 'captive'. (He would like to get into crocheting, maybe.)

🎧 ⊹₊ ⋆ In public, he obviously likes to keep a posh and professional appearance. He rarely smiles, always looks straight ahead, never breaking eye contact when speaking (which unnerves people sometimes)... And hides his real laugh. The fake laugh he shows people is very quiet, think of like... a "hmhmhm-" or liek silverspoon from III. Buuut, if you show him something real funny, and you're not in front of anyone else........ "PFFOHOHO!!(๑`▽´๑)" !!!! (if youre in public, he tries to hold it in and he sounds like he is choking)

💠 ⊹₊ ⋆ I already kinda stated he is trans two facts ago but he is trans. His hair used to be entirely white and a little less coily and kinda droopier.... He was very sad before he transitioned. He would isolate himself much more than he does now, to the point where he wouldn't eat for days at a time sometimes. He was also much crabbier. He had frequent episodes that would result in isolation or worse (s/h) and one day he ended up exploding and having a meltdown in front of Iggy and Iggy's response was to promptly knock him out and give him both top and bottom surgery and pump him full of hormones which made him sick for like a week!!!! He obviously recovered nicely, though- he stopped isolating as much and began EATING YAY!!!.!.@?@?. After he went on hormones his hair started to turn blue. Why? lunno. Sometimes he gets a white hair every now and again (from stress) and he very quickly plucks it because 1. He's scared he'll look like how he used to and 2. Не doesn't wanna get old and wrinkly. Even tho him and Iggy have a complex rivalry brotherhood type thing going on, he will forever hold Iggy in high mental regards for playing doctor that day.

🖤 ⊹₊ ⋆ I'm sure this is a very common headcanon for him (i know it is but IDC!!) Him and Wendy are gossip buddies. They have stupid nicknames for each other to let each other know its gossip time (DeeDee and Wiggy). Obviously they hate these nicknames, but hey!! its fun. Ludwig also gets weirded out when others call him Wiggy. Roy is on thin ice because she calls him Wigzy, which is just one letter off.

🦋 ⊹₊ ⋆ Another common one obviously buuut ,,, He can play Many instruments!!! Piano, trumpet, tuba, organ, violin, viola, and saxophone. How does he get the time for all of it?? who knows!!! (he has occasional 3-am moments in his studio) ... also he wants to learn more. Cicada will eventually teach him Kalimba and Harp and this other instrument i created that doesn't have a name yet!!

But also hates touching and being touched but he wants to be held. (Cue Cicada♡) He's just very complicated!!! (After he developes his weird little feelings for Cicada he feels gross and weird sometimes because he's like wow this is so weird. what is going on. why. i wanna kiss him. im gonna hurl)

Essie Expressie Seize the Minute quick dry nail polish, which is a really nice red with blue undertones

Lisa Says Gah Museo Bianco Elizabeth Dress, which I bought secondhand off Depop. I got it for my trip to Greece but I'm worried it's a little too on the nose so I'm not sure if I'll bring it yet (still very cute though)

Uniqlo Wide Straight Jeans. They're just the right amount of slouchy

This matching set from Amazon. I've been wanting a set like this for a few months now and I ended up being so pleasantly surprised with this one. It ended up being way cuter than in the product pictures and fitting really well

Inkey List Vitamin C Serum. It's made my skin tone way more even and bright, and they're a clean, cruelty free brand

Tir Tir Red Cushion foundation. Mostly I bought it because I think the packaging looks really chic, but the product provides a really nice, buildable coverage as well

Jones Road Miracle Balm in Au Natural. This one I got as a gift and at first I didn't really get how you were supposed to use it, but now I'm really into it. It gives the nicest dewy glow without looking shiny.

I've been getting back into Marina lately, especially her newest album, Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land. She's always been my pick out of the Tumblr sad girl musicians and I'm really impressed with how her music (and her public persona) has grown and changed over the years

I Only Have Eyes for You by Tashaki Miyaki. I heard this song years ago and it randomly popped into my head the other day and would not leave. It's just very vibey

TV:

Doctor Who with Ncuti Gatwa. I'm in love with him and I think his take on The Doctor is perfect.

Legion. I mostly started watching this because my girl Lauren Tsai is in the third season, but I love it. I think it's a really unique take on the superhero genre.

Bee and Puppycat. This is a show about a girl named Bee and her best friend/pet who is a mysterious creature who looks kind of like a cat and kind of like a dog. They take temporary jobs so that they can afford to buy snacks and leather jackets. It's a really special show, and I've watched it a few times now. The original series is on YouTube, and there's also a series on Netflix that expands on the original episodes.

Books:

Babel by RF Kuang. I'm reading this for a book club and I'm really enjoying it so far. It's about a child in an alternative-reality 1830s England who is adopted from China and taken to Oxford University to study the art of translation.

Emily Wilson's translation of The Odyssey. I've actually never read The Odyssey before because I am bad at being Greek and also at being a supposed descendant of Homer. Dr. Wilson is the first woman to translate The Odyssey into English

Games:

I just finished playing Planet of Lana, which is a really gorgeous puzzle-platformer inspired by the aesthetics of Studio Ghibli films and the gameplay of Playdead games such as Limbo and Inside. It has a great story about a girl who's looking for her sister, who has been abducted by hostile alien machines.

Places:

Wasteland secondhand stores in LA. I've been finding a lot of really great pieces there in the past few weeks, and the pieces I've found there have been around 75-90% off their original price.

La La Kind Cafe. I go to these when I need to convince myself to leave my house. They have a good vibe and the drinks are great.

Miscellaneous Stuff:

Nicola Coughlan. I've been watching all of the interviews she's doing for Bridgerton and I'm obsessed with her whole vibe. Her new dark comedy show about a woman with bipolar disorder, Big Mood, is also really great.

Earscapes. I reopened a bunch of old piercings I had and I'm having so much fun trying different combinations of earrings in them. I honestly can't believe I left them closed for so long.

Using lipstick as blush. I have such a hard time finding blush colors that work for me and then finding a blush that goes with my lipstick. So instead what I've been doing lately is putting on my lipstick, blotting it with my finger, and then using the leftover on my cheeks. It works super well and it means I can stop buying new blush products

This sardine tin makeup pouch. I haven't gotten it yet so I can't tell you how it is, but I just thought it looked so cute, and I needed a makeup bag for travel. I'll let you know if it ends up being good

Baths, just as a general concept. My old apartment didn't have enough hot water to fill up a bath, so I never used to take them, but they're so great? I got this full body bath pillow, which has made it was more comfortable to just relax there.

Ahhhh I'm like 100% sure that was on my old blog that got deleted when I got terminated 😔

I know that @/maleyanderecafe and @/torao-chan (sorry i get embarrassed pinging people in posts since in this case it feels unnecessary :')) ) both rb my posts related to forever yours so maybe it's buried somewhere in their blogs....

But regardless I remember most of them and kinda changed a couple, so here's the list of my voice claims on the fy yours boys + cupid, I'll add the rest of the side characters once I find good/solid ones for all of them.

Tama - I'm still firm in choosing Bear Ghost for Tama. The specific songs I like to use an example are Paradise and Starkiller, but also this clip from Bee and Puppycat and I basically have nothing to add on lol. Any song by Bear Ghost fits voice wise in my head.

Max - Darling Dance (English Cover) by Anthong the Gay has been the closest I could ever get. It's like 95% what his voice sounds like to me, the other 5% being just like, intonation issues. Max doesn't really try to hide how he feels so his tone and manner of speaking makes it verrrrry clear how he feels at any given moment, so his voice has more extreme highs and lows.

I've been told that it's a surprising choice because they expect his voice to be higher, which I think is funny. He would find high-pitched, overly cutesy, squeaky voices annoying and grating to listen to.

Psy - Another one that's been clear since I've chosen it, Lucky Love by Michael Seyer is basically ideal in my head. The voice fits well, the calm, tender, gentle, mature/knowledgeable tone is basically perfect!

Lake - A very, very difficult one, mostly because he doesn't have a very strong voice in my head! (which is funny because I know how he talks very clearly). I think it's because the sounds of super, intensely emotional voices cause me to panic internally a little, so when I write his dialogue my brain is like "lol no voice here" or else I would Not be able to Get Through It. I've chosen This December and Fly Me to The Moon (cover) by Ricky Montgomery before, which I do think are nice choices. Some additional songs by Ricky Montgomery that I think are even more fitting for Lake's voice is It's Ok to Cry and Boy Toy (acoustic version).

Lycoris - Sweet Tangerine by The Hush Sound is really good! Recently I added These Hands from Frankenstein - A New Musical to my brain as like. an extra layer of flavor in my head, due to the very tormented and guilt-ridden tone that Lycoris would definitely have as someone who is a bit more self aware than the others. Also I just like The Creature in Frankenstein and his depiction in this musical lol.

Cupid - Ok so. I was basically sold on Kiss Me You Animal by Burn the Ballroom and I still am! But also DON'T WANNA SLEEP and READ YOUR DIARY by Måneskin kinda fit his general vibe like, genre-wise more. Even if the lyrical narrative doesn't match him as much...... the vibes of the genre.......... fits very well........... I am making no sense I know.......... Adriel Genet's voice fits Cupid better than Damiano David ultimately, but Måneskin's frequent subject matter about partying all night and romance issues fits Cupid more than the spooky-haunted-vampire vibe of Burn the Ballroom.

Current Obsession: Gardening!!! Nature!!! Outside!!! One of my roommates and I have been spending a lot of time in the front and back yards planting stuff, weeding, and watching life happen! My big achievement currently is that I rescued a baby maple from a crevice next to the path back at the beginning of May, and it's growing so well now! Also like, two days ago my roommate and I rescued a bird's nest that had fallen out of one of the trees in the backyard, and we put it in a nice secure spot back in a tree. Also yesterday discovered a beehive in the front yard which is so cool and great and really shows how pollinator friendly our yard is!!!

I thrive in chaos and am pretty hyper most of the time. But I'm also really scatterbrained. That, and my various mental health issues like depression and BPD but I don't let it stop me from being happy and cool :)

I used to struggle a lot with mental health but have found a nice balance in life and think positively and optimistically a lot of the time.

In my spare time I like to make sci-fi comics, watch sailor moon (and I've been obsessed with Bee and Puppycat) and be a silly little guy.

This week I built an Arduino game thing for school in a week!! And I bought star lights from Amazon to hang in my dorm room (secretly for blanket forts)

its a good thing you thrive in chaos because that man has been without guidance since like age 14 and has no structure in his life, no proper sleep schedule or good eating habits either. obv. youre not gonna be his mother, youre just going to have to figure out something that works for both of you together!!

Hed be able to recognize when your smile is a bit strained and reassure you that its okay to not always be happy and optimistic. no one is , and he and your friends wont tire of you for reaching out for help.

sci-fi is probably Saeyoungs favourite genre! hed never tire of you talking about the universe youve created and the stories within that universe. Bee and puppycat would be right up his alley haha.

I was on Tumblr during the golden age of fanart and art commissions. We used to have a LOT more fanart in all of our fandoms, like, daily, and it was quality stuff too, and you got to watch people grow and get better and interact at a much higher volume.

The artists of tumblr influenced the cartoon landscape (and the YA Novel landscape but I don't know as much about that) especially at this time, and you can trace the internet presence of Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Bee & Puppycat, and She-Ra: PoP back to early fandom days on tumblr. Do you like Nimona? Well the person who made Nimona first posted them here, on this platform, as a feral little doodle of an OC. Now its a movie, and it's a movie that means a lot to many different communities. Not to mention the countless high quality indie webcomics that were running at the time.

I will tell you straight up; if you support artists, we invest much more time and energy into fanart & ocs. If you like fanart or original stories, buy art. We don't have time to draw these things all day because we're busy trying to make money. That's just how it is. But even subscribing to someone's $1 patreon tier is helpful. If you can't afford it at all thats fine, but for fucks sake TELL THE ARTIST that you like their work enough that you Would buy it if you Could.

This is a secondary but related point, but the way other people react to the art is important. Im guilty of this too, personally. People these days reblog art with this mindset of "I am curating my space and putting this piece in it" and that's all well and good but this is still a somewhat public platform. By reposting something with absolutely no input and no interpretation you are missing an oppotunity to appraise the art for the artist. A lot of people wonder why fanartists hate empty tags, and its because in this day and age YOUR REACTION RAISES THE VALUE OF THE ART! Other people see your opinion and go you know what you're so right. And they share it more, and they appreciate it more, AND THE ARTIST GETS MORE WORK, which means they get more time to do what they want to be doing. Your opinions help the artist grow and if youre lucky sometimes we just give out free art for being nice to us!

If you want amazing fanart and new cool stories, support & nuture the creatives who make it, it's as simple as that!

The only thing I need tumblr to do is to get like... cool with the idea you can hire people here to do commissions for you and to like.. consider monetary support for artists cuz one of the reasons and the biggest reason I moved to twitter in the first place is because people there buy my art. I make a living there doing art. And the vibe here is **we don't do that here** If you want artists to be here and do art you gotta be okay with the concept of artists trying to make money. Finally watched the second trolls movie after rewatching the first one. There was a lot of buzz for Trolls 2, I'm a sucker for sci-fi fantasy stories (i.e. Neil Gaiman books, Bee and Puppycat, Hilda, Trollhunters, Narnia, etc), trolls are interesting mythical creatures, and I find the troll toys adorable, so I was curious about the Trolls movies. I found the concept of the Bergers and rich popstar frauds directly consuming troll essence so interesting bc it's so eerie and reflective of real life exploitation (colonialism, capitalism, etc.). I think it's cool that the colorfulness is beyond the aesthetic but a part of the story. The trolls' colors are their essence; they can grow and camouflage their hair, the color reflects their spirit and strength, etc. I appreciate how good the movies look (though I think the animation would've been better if it was more 2D). However, I really didn't care for most of the characters or the humor. It felt like it was just fat jokes, jokes about black stereotypical voices, it felt so aggressively queer just to be aggressively straight with Poppy and Branch being the two genders the whole queercodedass story is centered around if that makes sense. Also, am I crazy or do movies confuse stereotypical femininity for positivity? Poppy wasn't that nice lol like I was largely on Branch's side. I really enjoy aggressively pink characters like Lava Girl, Starfire, Pinkiepie, Draculaura, etc., but Poppy sometimes was too invasive and it felt like the movies played it off as funny maybe idk. Also, I wish the settings were more explained or something (like even in soft magic stories like Coraline, we still get some explanation/implication abt each setting). I personally feel like we could have had like some Coraline or Across the Spiderverse level shit but sigh it was more like the Scoob movie lol damnit.

For Eddsworld I match you with EDD!

Edd is the type of man to love you no matter what shape/size you are he thinks you are perfect just the way you are. He doesn’t mind that you are bisexual he’s definitely not straight himself (e.g. him calling Tom hot). He will joke with you about your height though- in a playful way. If you are insecure or you start to get upset he will stop it immediately with lots of apologies.

While doesn’t completely understand why you run out of social battery he does know that it’s emotionally overwhelming so he would take you to your comfort place and make sure you have everything you need to recharge- if you want him to stay there he would be more than willing to cuddle you and just hang out doing whatever you want, but if you want alone time he also completely understands and leaves you alone (of course checking in on you every 10 minutes). Edd would be extremely happy and honored when you are dramatic around him, the thought of you being yourself around him because you trust him makes him very happy. Edd fully understands that just because you have an RBF doesn’t always mean you are mad (thanks to Tom).

Edd is also the time of man to hold you tightly during the days when everything is too much, he’d whisper sweet nothings into your ear and words of affirmation as a way of comfort. He’d also get you anything you’d like! You need candies? You bet. Need another drink? He’s already on it! He cares a lot for you and your mental health. Edd is a kind individual and definitely has his own type of humor and form of love (both platonic and romantic) Edd is rude to his friends but always cares about them in the end.

Prepare for a lot of teasing if you pick on him he’s going to do it back, but like stated before if you actually get upset he apologizes and stops. Edd wouldn’t understand at first why you are not talking to him and so you’ll probably have to explain it to him.

At that point, he’d tell you that it’s okay and that you don’t have to talk if you don’t want to. He will totally! And I mean totally draw you often, especially if you have low self-esteem about your body, and if it’s about you and your personality he’ll leave sticky notes all over the place with small words of affirmation or sweet little reminders like “you are more than good enough” “there’s always a bright side” “I love you more than anything” living with him will totally help with your motivation. He won’t allow you to sit around all day if you wanted to do something the day before he’s taking you to do it. But he does understand that sometimes you need a day off and will take that day off with you to cuddle and relax.

I think you two would totally bond over drawing and if you want to get better he will be more than happy to help you! He will totally listen to you sing! If you love it he’ll take interest in it, even if it’s just you talking about it. The same with reading he’ll constantly ask what you are reading and what it’s about.

Yes- you two will totally bond over animation, baking, cats, and coloring he loves and lives for anything to do art and crafts. If you bake he totally is trying everything or asking you to make him things. If you don’t bake he finds a baking book and plans dates where you to can try together.

Will let you try makeup and nail art on him but nothing too over the top. Will love to take you shopping for clothes, he loves to watch you come out of the changing rooms with a big smile on your face when you find something you love!

I Am... All Of Me

My top 75 songs bc even though I left some off for sure, I'm not about to wrack my brains trying to remember them, and 75 is as nice a number as any. Order is vaguely chronological. Some of the songs were new (for me), and others I came back to and obsessed over all new. I think probably every one of these songs ended up in my dreams. Some ordered stats:

My top listened to albums were Electra Heart by Marina and the Diamonds, Pawprint Panic! by NAPCAST, and the Wicked Original Broadway Cast Recording.

My top Sonic games that I listened to music from are Sonic and the Black Knight (apparently?), Sonic CD, and Sonic and the Fallen Star (yes I'm counting this). But if you don't count the 3rd one for being a fan game, I guess it would be Sonic '06.

My most common non-English languages to listen to were probably Korean, then Japanese, then Arabic. I'm not counting the songs to figure this out.

Special thanks to these playlists by seultry on youtube for getting me through the last 2 months. Not as obvious as the list I made for 2022/2023, but I did not have a great time this year! This was still fun to make, I'm gonna try to keep track as the year goes for 2025.

Spotify never fails to piss me Off

I don't use spotify enough for spotify wrapped to be remotely accurate. But I think it's fun to reflect on your taste of music for this year, so I was all ready to make a playlist of my top songs this year (which I cannot back up with a metric, but would play each song on loop, for hours at a time at some point during 2024).

Boom, right away first song I try to find for my list spotify does not have! It's not even a small artist or obscure song or anything! "Boy Like You" by Ke$ha ft Ashley Tisdale. I now spent over 20 minutes searching for it before giving up, I want to throw my computer out the window. I'm pretty sure Ke$ha and Ashley Tisdale are pretty well known! This sucks! The very first song on my list. Really, right away spotify was like no fuck you, you don't get your first song.

And I thought about making my top songs of 2024 list without "Boy Like You" but like, it was basically the only song I played at home (looped too) for a solid 3 weeks in January. It wouldn't be accurate! Right away, my first song obsession of the year wouldn't be there! What's the point of the list at that point??

This is why I don't use spotify. Anyway if this get's a single like I'll drop my top songs of 2024 playlist in a reblog, as like, an actual list of song names and artists. Since, y'know, spotify can't help me.

Checkmate I love Agatha Christie and I am loving how they are adapting her stories so far! I find Poirot a bit irritating (I’m more of a Miss Marple fan) so I have been greatly loving Si Tu Yan especially in the Poirot parts - he is a huge improvement. I am not very familiar with the Republic Era of China so it is giving me lots of things to research later.

About Youth which is so good! The characters are so soft and layered and have very different conflicts, and I am loving watching them support each other

The Eclipse also phenomenal! I love how aggressively P’Golf and the scriptwriters are being with their political/social commentary, and both First and Khao are such fantastic actors. Every time Khao cries a piece of my heart dies forever 

180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us this is shaping up to be one of my favourites of the year, it has a very moody-queer-film vibe with highly complex characters and relationships

Takara-kun to Amagi-kun I am warming up to this one, I was pleasantly surprised with the very frank discussion of readiness for sex, sexual boundaries, and how much care Takara-kun is showing in his understanding of consent. I really value seeing these kinds of open and honest discussions becoming more commonplace in media for teenagers, it reminds me of a similar storyline that recently ran in the Heartstopper comic. 

Girlfriend Project Day 1 (I know it’s technically not airing but it only ended this week so I am keeping it in this column because I haven’t completely finished the last ep) I am enjoying it a lot, they did an absolutely fantastic kiss scene which I wasn’t expecting, so that was nice. It’s retreading the same ground as Love Class, and I wish it had the same run time as that series so I could compare and contrast the 2 series better, but alas. The curse of painfully short GLs.

My Only 12% Cake is the best character of all time, he is such a kind and caring friend. I am scared the whole time watching this show because I am waiting for it to trample my heart because Wabi Sabi.

Vice Versa I am a bit behind on this and having been watching through gifs for the last couple of eps tbh. I am having trouble letting go of my expectation of a more sci-fi based show featuring lots of archery. If I can manage to do that I think there is lots to enjoy for what the show is, my expectations were just simultaneously drastically different and extremely high.
