Behind the Shadow

"Behind The Shadow" is a South Korean romantic drama that depicts love and friendship in the Joseon era. The story revolves around three childhood friends, Yunho (Ren/Choi Min-ki), Jae-woon (Park Sang-nam), and Seol (Hong Seung-hee), who have a strong bond since childhood.

In the midst of summer, as first love grows unnoticed, Yunho begins to realize his uncontrollable feelings for his childhood friend, Haru. Despite going through many experiences together and building a strong friendship, Yunho faces the dilemma of whether to keep his feelings to himself or confess them to Haru.

The drama portrays Yunho's struggle to express his feelings to Haru while exploring taboo themes of the Joseon era involving love and friendship.

Behind The Shadows is a Drama Special Film to be broadcast on KBS on 9th December. It will also get a small theatrical release on 24th November.
