Please please please-- bayo!reader styling on the impostor in SAGAU PLEASEEE
I saw the post and instantly i got hit with this AHAHA
OMG OMG.
Imagine this:
It's like the Bayonetta vs Joy fight.
You vs. the Impostor, both pointing guns on each other's faces. The acolytes are both frozen in place surrounding you both, confusion evident in their faces as they try to pick out which one is the fake and which one is the real deal. They were only able to snap out of it when the Traveler took off and stood behind you.
"This is the real (Name)!"
You roll your eyes. "Of course I am the real one, shooting star. When have I ever had that gold band floating above my head? And my signature beauty mark? The impostor doesn't have it." You turn to look at the fake. "Were you even trying?"
Then there's silence between you both. The impostor makes their move.
By move, it meant a dance battle.
You let out an "ooh~" and exchanged provocative dance moves. And when you bested the impostor? They lashed out and fought you. But alas, they didn't even last against you and were forced to relinquish their glamor, showing their true form.
Imagine it looked like Jubileus. Then you do a summon chant and use your hair to summon Queen Sheba and everything makes sense to your acolytes now. You're the real deal! After all, according to the ancient records of you, the god of this world can summon beasts and familiars using your hair. How could they have been so blind...?
They hope you could forgive them, but you simply look at them with an eyebrow raised and an impish grin.
"Now, now. While I don't mind this body worship and praise-giving kink you guys have, I'd prefer to be treated like a normal person. Or at least establish a safe word? Too much of a good thing ends up stale and disgusting the more it goes on, darlings."
...What.

okay so this is unrelated to literally everything, but your recent devil/angel cidclive art got me thinkin' about umbra witch!Clive and demon!Cid... in Bayonetta 3 one of Rodin's moves when you summon him is "Shall We Dance?" where he and Bayo dance to do an AoE attack and it seems like such a Cid thing to do. Clive doing the summons speaks for itself because uhhh (gestures to his tits).
anyway like I said this was a random thought that struck me when I saw those pics that I felt like sharing I'm not making a request or anything haha
omg???? i havent played bayonetta so the reference is slightly lost on me but it sounds cool as hell (and all good! i love hearing ppl's ideas)
i did have an idea for a symbolic tango dance animatic video for them but the concept is too involved for me to get into it in any timely and satisfactory manner 😭

Hello! I hope you're having an amazing day today!
I've been absolutely feral over Bayonetta and there isn't enough content of Bayo x fem!readers... anywhere🥲 So you can imagine how stoked I was when I came across your account!
l've got a request if it's alright (I hope this is the proper way to ask)! May I request a Gomez and Morticia type of dynamic with shorter reader (I'm 5'2") that's just completely in love with her wife Bayonetta. You can choose if it will be a scenario or a head cannon l'm fine with either! I can imagine reader being some kind of artist (maybe a fashion designer that loves to make outfits for Bayo!!!). Do you write smut? If not that's totally fine! If you do tho feel free to add if you’re up for it!
Thank you and no rush if you decide to take up the request and Thank you anyway if you choose not to! I know how busy lives can be and as an artist I can understand the pressure of making something for others :) Have fun! Thanks again!
Awh dear, first, thank you and I hope you’re having an amazing day as well, AND YES FR THERE ISN’T ENOUGH BAYO X FEM!READER EVEN THO SHE GAY AS (the gates of) HELL..Anyways, I’d love to write that, morticia and gomez are one of the best couples fr their dynamic is just so adorable and i can’t get over it. Let’s use bayo’s Google height for this one and the reader your 5’2, but tbh anyone can read this just don’t read the "love for your short wife" part/s lol. (I myself am a 5’7.) Feel more free than ever to send more requests, bayo lovers here. Ps: sorry for that long ass message and I’ll change some things with the fact that she’s a witch from the Umbra. Sorry, tell me if you want it to change.
———
-First, let’s talk about some importants things.
-Bayo is 5’8, and you being short as hell for her makes the vibe more clearer, you’re her Gomez and she’s your Morticia, ofc. Also, Bayo showed to be obviously more darker than Jeanne, so I’ll take the liberty to use Gomez and Morticia’s real over all strange but romantic couple type.
-Whenever you both are together in your black, elegant and kind of special house or just in general, the romantic and creepy (as Jeanne describe it sometimes..) couple quotes are a whole thing. You both can’t live a day without giving the other red/black roses and tell them something like, "Amor, I’ll make/get you the most prettiest dark dress just so you can be as dead and pretty as you are to me." (Romantic for you guys hello remember it? You both are kind of trash here.)
-You can’t stop gently kissing her hands or kiss her at all. You can’t let one without the other.
-Going to the point where you’re an artist, well, this is one of the reasons why bayo fell in love. Your (mostly) black and dark red dress or just outfits in general were so pretty, she loved your passion and seeing you being more passionate as well. Now she is kind of premium member one, lol, you always at least make her one dress every two-three weeks. Got more passion for her tho.
-I’m not gonna get too into it, but when it comes to the bed, Bayo’s ofc a top. But sometimes she’ll let you do what you wanna do, but not too much<3 she keeps her role. And by going, romanticism will never stop. Rose’s, wine, cozy and gloomy kind of lighting…It’s just perfect for you. As your couple is perfect.
-She is more of a black cat than you, but you both works as well as black and grey kitty’s. (Didn’t wanted to put white cat. It’s Jeanne, lol.)
-concerning about being out of the house, she always have an arm on your hips and romantic behavior with her. As well as you. Sometimes people like Jeanne, Luka and blah blah blah can thought of something like, "It’s looks fucked up but- It’s cute tho." and everything that goes on. They’re understandably kind of scared whenever you guys are too trash for them, lol. More Luka than Jeanne tbh.
———
It’s so short and rushed omg I’m sorry BUT MY DAD IS COMING TO SEE ME SO I HAVE TO PREPARE, YK, ANYWAYS BYE BYE HOPE YOU LIKED THAT ILL RE DO IT IF NOT !! Bye ily<3

Aight so this is little overdue since I finished the game awhile ago but I need somewhere to vent lol. So...Bayonetta 3...where to start??
Ok so for starters, even by Bayonetta standards I feel this game's story is a clusterfuck. Like the Bayo series story has always felt confusing to me due to there being time travel and whatnot (or maybe im just a dumb dumb who doesn't get it) but at least I feel Bayo 1 and 2 attempted to have a cohesive story. This one feels because of the whole multiverse thing, they must've felt like they could just retcon shit and do whatever they wanted Idk. I get that with this series, gameplay is the initial concern for the devs, and story is an afterthought but c'mon. The final boss is the wackest by far. Not only design but everything in general. And I felt the other multiverse bayos were wasted potential. They all got done so dirty. The multiverse was built up so much and then you rarely to get to see them and then they all die...like wtf. I'm especially still gagged at how chinese bayo died. In such a stupid fashion. She had more than enough time to react but no she stands there a few seconds too long and dies. This is Bayonetta we're talking about!! Her reaction time and reflexes are pretty much always flawless and she has witch time for fuck's sake! At least kill her in a more believable manner! And then Jeanne....my poor girl Jeanne. I feel killing her was so unnecessary. For what?? For fucking what?? Instead what I would have done was keep her alive and have her mentor Viola.
Now the ending....I admittedly didn't hate it like everyone else but it wasn't really stellar either. The final act of the game was overall pretty sus. Tbh, what I hated more than the ending itself was the fact that it is insinuated that Bayo 1 and Bayo 2 are two separate Bayos. That to me, not only makes things more confusing but makes the journey you take with Bayo 2 a little less meaningful? This whole time I thought we all played the sequel thinking we were seeing more of OG Bayo and her character development and what she had been up to but no. It was a different Bayo the whole time? Idk, I feel that lessens and cheapens everything we saw in Bayo 2. To think there was a direct connection between the two and nope. I will admit tho, it was pretty dope from a gameplay perspective, teaming up with the other two bayos was amazing. Not to mention when you take control over bayo 1, omg the feels. The fact that mysterious destiny is playing and her lifebar and magic mimic that of the first game.....just ugh amazing. I wish they would have let us switch between bayo 1 and 2 in that fight but oh well. At least at the end of the game, I was pleasantly surprised to see they brought back the 'let's dance boys' dance sequence. I rly missed it back in Bayo 2.
Ok so now admittedly imma nitpick some more minor things but they bugged me enough to mention them lol. First off why THE FUCK can't you play as Jeanne in the main story???? Y'all did it in the last two games! Just treat her as a skin/costume like in the previous games! I get her not being playable in Viola chapters but Bayo's? Nah son. Wtf. And they didn't giver her costumes either. Not. One. Like, the egyptian one is right fudging there. I'm not asking for 10 different outfits but c'mon. Or bare minimum they should have let us change her colors. Was also upset Viola got the same treatment too. Would have loved to have seen in her some different outfits or colors. Them getting rid of Umbran elegances made me sad. Nintendo costumes were also absent this time around which is a damn shame since those were a blast to use. This might be dumb but the lack of different taunts was a bit disappointing too. I would always look forward to choosing different weapons and seeing what taunt she had. I guess those got traded in for idle animations this time around. Now moving on to enemies, fights and bosses are bombastic as ever but man, the enemy design in this game is seriously lacking. The angels and demons are so memorable, they have character, they are brimming with originality. These white/green blobs ain't cuttin' it. I felt like I was fighting the same enemy over and over again. I think they may have exhausted all creativity into the demon slaves and masquerades. This next complaint is me being whiny bitch I get it lol but I REALLY don't understand why they changed the sounds for the platinum and pure platinum medals. Those are iconic sounds for the Bayonetta series. So why change them? Like, I'm seriously asking. Cause it seems like a random change to make? Now they are barely noticeable and sound like generic forgettable ass chimes. The camera in this game could get god awful at times too, which considering the high action pace of this game is a big problem.
So I could keep going but this is long enough lmao. Overall, I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy playing through Bayonetta 3. It's just as over the top and chaotic as previous titles. I genuinely had so much fun with this game. I don't really have any complaints of the gameplay mechanics off the top of my head. But everything else...my god, platinum has some 'splaining to do.

💫what is your favorite kind of comment/feedback? // 💝what is a fic that got a different response than you were expecting? // 🤍what's one fic of yours you think people didn't "get"? // 🕯️how do you think engaging with each other through tumblr, twitter, comments, kudos, creates healthy fandom experiences? omg......hiiiiiii :3
answers below the cut because I never shut up also thank you for asking!!! WAH
💫what is your favorite kind of comment/feedback?
I love love love when people tell me what lines/sections of my fics hit the hardest for them!! specificity in comments is always nice :)
💝what is a fic that got a different response than you were expecting?
oh man, Desert Hearts for sure. I did not expect SO many people to get invested in it - it was actually kind of stressful toward the end cause I didn't wanna disappoint! but I am very grateful for everyone who has read it and commented and such. AUGH.
also my barlissa fics??? I wrote two on a whim in like a single week and people have been SO kind. I am a bit blown away. working on a third rn hehe :3 here are the links one // two
oh my god also leather and lace. the girlies really liked that smut xaskldfhsakj I wrote it as a gift for a friend but it is nice to see that leather butches are beloved by many <3 <3
essentially, a decent amount of my fics get more positive attention that I would assume. it is nice!!!! but also.....I do not understand. haha.
I am also kind of obsessed with how often people lovingly threaten me online over what I write, both fluff and angst. are you flirting with me? are you actually gonna beat my ass given the chance? are you just dramatic? who knows. I love it tho.
🤍what's one fic of yours you think people didn't "get"?
this is me being controversial but I don't think people "got" I'll see you back home or hyperosmia. like, people LIKED those fics a lot, but projected a lot of their own feelings onto them I felt. both of them were written on a whim and both of them are not my favorites. lmao. I understand WHY people were upset, over both luka as a character and the ending of bayo 3 as a whole (I too was/am upset, which is why I wrote the damn fics sajkfhwdkj) but idk. out of all my work they are they fics I think people engaged the least with despite leaving a lot of comments/kudos. most of the feedback I got was people ranting about their own opinions and like. NOTHING about the fics themselves. alas.
🕯️how do you think engaging with each other through tumblr, twitter, comments, kudos, creates healthy fandom experiences? How do you deal with that if you're not a social person/experience social anxiety?
this is such an interesting question, so forgive me cause I am gonna ramble a bit. i'll answer the first part first. ha.
fandom is this nebulous thing imo, and so interaction within fandom is a double edged sword. for as many lovely people are you will find, there are ten more who fucking suck asdjhskj. the best way I have found to navigate fandom is to find people making the things you like, support their work, and if opportunities to get closer arise, feel free to take them.....but also feel free to end them. I have blocked many accounts over just the past year just because I realized they were making my personal fandom experience stressful - nothing personal usually, but I use fandom for fun, so I don't wanna engage with people who are making me miserable lmao. block and curate, prune your fandom garden, and you can have an overall good experience I think. interaction is the lifeblood of fandom! I think comments, kudos, tagging people in things, talking in the tags of posts, etc etc make it so fun and worthwhile. like personally, I do write for my own enjoyment, but it wouldn't be half as interesting without readers/commenters/mutuals/oomfies/friends. I have become friends with some of the most genuine people in my life through fandom, and even got to meet some IRL (and abby if you see this I WILL be visiting your ass our next trip will NOT be cancelled xsakjdghsaj). sorry I am rambling is it almost 1am here in NY but like. fandom is about participation I would argue. but it is good to be careful. be respectful. be patient. don't hesitate to step back or mute or block if you need to. engaging with each other is SO awesome but you aren't going to vibe with everyone and that is ok!!!!!!
oh man. I perhaps am not the best person to answer this, because online I am pretty socially outgoing? I rarely reach out first but if people wanna talk or whatever I am usually very down. I love people. love chatting. teehee. but I think that "fandom engagement" can take a lot of different forms. even if you don't feel comfortable talking to people directly, you can always still like/reblog/retweet their work! you can leave notes in the tags! you can leave anon comments! I think sometimes fandom creates this pressure to engage and create, but some of my favorite people in fandom are the ones who just reliably read and like my fics and if I am lucky they will leave a comment that is just some emojis (I have a regular commenter like this. I would kill for them. I know NOTHING about them. but everytime they comment a purple heart on my fic? whew. amazing.) essentially, do what feels comfortable for you and know that even if you aren't engaging directly in the same way, it is still SO lovely to have people engaging at all. fandom should be fun and not stressful imo. if you are having fun that is what counts. we are all playing in a big sandbox together. if you wanna chill by the edge and watch or play with your own tools that is totally fine. just nice to have you there. :)
ANYWAY. hope this was interesting for anyone who reads this behemoth of an ask. dklasfdhdj.
#asks#anon I could kiss you on the mouth for asking multiple of these#THANK YOU SINCERELY#they were fun ones too hehehe#ask game#moth writes

Omg you're too kind I'm so excited -
So my main overarching plan is based on a fusion of the two games that's basically as close to their own respective canons as possible, where the world building sort of grows around it rather than shaping it. In this, persona awakenings happen basically the same - at least to my understanding!
In Third Eye, personal personas are pulled from the sea of souls to bond with and reflect their user - they're not created from the users soul but are more akin to Bayo's demon summoning, where powerful and exclusive contracts can be forged where both demon and witch can be called upon by the other at their will, their magics entwined.
But bayonetta has multiple contracts, though they're weaker and less loyal than her main with Madame Butterfly, from whom she can use her limbs to attack and her wings to fly. Advanced rituals allow witches to take on halfway forms of their main demons, which may put you in mind of the fanart of joker in arsenes outfits :D. This is actually pretty similar to the wild card ability, where joker has his main/true persona Arsene, but can still form contracts with and use other persona he finds along the way!
Speaking of his persona, though, one of the things that I struggled with was what to do about his own demon contract. I spent ages trying to work satneal being half demon half persona into the world building somehow, but it just wasn't clicking, because I had three slots that needed filling but only two things to fill it with.
But then I found out about that one p5r dlc, which has akiras THIRD freaking awakening: Raoul, the false alias of Arsene Lupin. Sometimes lover, sometimes ally, sometimes the false name he disguised himself by. But his design is giving yellow Sci fi street thug who thinks he's all that compared to Arsene and satneals gorgeous black and red prince vibes ToT. Anyway, the fact that the other personas have actual upgrades, but Akira just has a false identity, that was actually really interesting. So, as long as we can overlook the yellow, it occurred to me that I might change it up.
What if this joker, with his secret identity of being an immortal gun slinging witch in training hiding from the government, awakened to raoul instead of arsene? And only after growing to trust his friends, his new family, and being able to open up to them about his past would he be able to awaken his true persona, the unmasked and unrepentant Arsene.
Because in canon it's the other way round, isn't it? Joker arrives as a kid who has nothing, a kid who got caught for doing the right thing regardless of the government, and it's only later that he builds a second life and learns the deception and subterfuge necessary to being a phantom thief.
And then satneal, the whole actual demon lord, could be his demon summon!! And his shadow would turn into a six winged bat demon hehe.
And the best part is there's a whole secret back story in bayonetta about how the current world began - there was a huge war aeons ago between the forces of heaven and hell that I think killed all of the Actual Universe Creating Deities, called Dea (bar one survivor who fell and now runs an underground weapon shop/bar that a xenomorph wouldn't look out of place in. As a piece of furniture). So both inferno and paradiso are notably lacking their bosses while earth still had Aesir (the guy who later split into loki and loptr). The angels wanted their boss back (who btw is a girl) but got tricked (by evil loptr) alongside the humans into basically an armageddon situation to resurrect loptr in his full power instead. Bayonetta teams up with Jeanne to summon the mysterious demon boss (?) queen, who then throws him into the sun before it gets to that point, destabilising reality. Basically in this au satneal is both very, very old, very, VERY powerful, and has been missing since the universe began. Him showing up to contract with Akira would be a HUGE issue in the bayonetta world, and I'm all for it. Let your kid out of your sight for less than a year and he summons the presumed KIA devil.
Man, I haven't even actually talked about the whole overarching plot. And why it's called Third Eye.
Right, the whole deal is that the trinity of realities are rapidly destabilising after the bayonetta games. Two magic cores called the left and right eye of the world (belonging to the sages and witches) got nuked. Demons are escaping summons, angels are going crazy and failing to pick up souls destined for paradiso, there's freak weather events, earthquakes, that sort of thing. Eventually the whole thing is, within the next millennium or so, going to shake apart completely and then we'll all be back in the primordial soup.
Loki tried to prevent loptr from making it worse (stabilised, yes, but much worse for humanity) by using humanity's free will to establish the meta verse and persona, so that humanity might have guardians of their own immune to the corruption that befell the sages and witches (persona users being immune to the mental corruption that would lead to forming Palaces). He hoped that by returning magic to humans the flow of energy would once more stabilise.
UNFORTUNATELY loptr caught on while he was making his own plans (involving possession and giant statues and I kid you not capitalism cults). And managed to break into the velvet room. Whether ol' yalda (aka demiurge) is loptr reborn or just his special minion idk I'm still working on that. But he finds akechi.
Akechi, who is a distant descendant of the sages on his mother's side. Who is almost unnaturally tall and beautiful and capable of the immense magic needed to be a wildcard, although his non-fool arcana limits him. Akechi would be perfect to sow the fear and destruction he needs to win humanity's thoughts and thus, their minds.
There's always something juicy about a 'last of their kind' finding someone like them, and I think it'd really enhance the tension between Akira and akechi. Akechi, who never knew why he and his mother were so different to everyone else, who could never have gotten the training Akira did. Who grew up having to conform and perform to public scrutiny in ways that Akira needed to reject in order to fully grow into his abilities. And the inevitable tragedy of his death, how he was already too far lost to ever be safe to tell, but he knew Akira knew something anyway. The rage of never being told. The guilt of never telling, even as it keeps your family safe.
But anyway. This story ends with the stabilisation, not destruction of the meta verse, that humanity can forever dream of bigger things than they will ever see. The phantom thieves of hearts might be young, but they have proved the strength of their very souls, and should the day arise that they are needed, they will be called upon once more. Though the two eyes of the world are long destroyed, the third eye, the third path has opened, and as one, humanity shall finally pave their own way.
Basically thank you so much for asking @thegarlicthief 💖💖💖💖
Y'know what my knowledge of bayonetta may be limited to badass witch lady but I'd still like to hear about your Third Eye crossover thingy
Omg what a thing to wake up to thank you so much :D!!!
To quickly summarise, Bayonetta is an unhinged fast paced fighting game (trilogy) about an immortal witch with demon summoning gun wielding powers, who hunts angels for their halos to earn money and feed the demon contracts so they don't eat her instead. It's incredibly campy and shameless, but behind the scenes it's got some seriously well researched lore and a wealth of world building that drew me to writing for it. It's visually gorgeous and amazingly cohesive.
So what started it all was a meme going around the smash bros community a few years ago when joker and bayonetta joined, about how she was joker's mother. And I, having played both games (but not smash, ironically), was instantly hooked. I really wanted to see a story exploring that, but there was only a handful of fics or comics that, while good, weren't what I was looking for.
So I started writing my own. It's a story about joker (I'm using the name Akira for him) being the blood son of bayonetta, and his life being raised by her and fellow witch Jeanne, who in this fic is living with them and co-parenting hehe. It's following him through his trials and tribulations of being the son of the last witch (they were all killed off in a very violent war with their counterparts the sages), his own training to be a witch via time travel (it's a whole thing) and - in the second half - the circumstances around being forced to leave his small circle of protection and being pulled under government scrutiny after saving shidos victim, where any wrong move risks exposing the last dregs of the supernatural to people who would want to ruin everything.
I'm purposely keeping it unclear how Akira was conceived/born, or who the other parent is (if there even is one), because it's not really relevant and I like the mystery! It's also unclear if Jeanne and bayonetta are in a steamy relationship or just doing a besties cohabitation thing for the sake of the kid, but again it's on purpose ;). And lets me avoid writing romance LMAO.
Unsurprisingly, it's the world building that's really making me struggle, but the general gist is that the afterlife is VERY convoluted.
So, in p5 you've got the meta verse and the sea of souls, which is where persona come from. Persona, who are mythological, literary or historical figures. You can summon persona and kill them to make weapons and accessories. Though you don't lose your persona upon entering reality again, it can't manifest.
In bayonetta, there's three planes of reality. You've got the obvious paradiso and inferno, and then purgatorio, a second layer of earth's reality where the games all primarily take place, where living things become faint shadows oblivious to your chaos - though they will freak out when you blow up their car! Angels and demons alike can be summoned to this plane, (though they often show up regardless lol), being sometimes mythological, literary or historical figures but usually just generic mob enemies (hey, just like persona!). Certain enemies can be taken to a guy to be killed and turned into weapons and accessories. There's a lot of similarity!
So, in Third Eye, the sea of souls that living humans cannot reach is referring to the three planes of reality, where angels, demons and human souls can be pulled into the meta verse to become persona. Awakening a 2nd tier persona is an evolution of the user's soul, strengthening it and making the magics easier. It's a third equivalent to the witch/sages, which is going to be VERY relevant in the second phase.
Also, in the second game, spoilers, there's a blue kid called loki who uses tarot cards to fight, who ends up being the amnesiac god of free will trying to save humanity from his evil counterpart loptr who wants to take control of humanity and remake the world in his image, and eventually he sacrificed his life to do so, with a promise to one day be reincarnated.
So that's where philemon was while Igor was taking over his velvet room :D.
Thank you so much for asking ^u^! If you're curious about more I'd be delighted to talk about it, especially the details of jokers altered persona ;)...
#I think I forgot to mention it clearly lmao but basically persona users can just get into the meta verse as normal#Magic users use a portal spell to get into purgatorio#The difference here is that paths exist between the two because they're so close together. In bayo there's little portals that lead to#Sub levels that you can clear for more points. It's just little fighting arenas but they actually lead to pockets of subspace both angels#And demons can access called alfheim/muspelheim. So that's my inspiration for the purgatorio/meta verse portal paths. Just a#Stretch of glowing blue path with weird plants that monsters try and attack you on as you run past#You have no idea how many pages of notes I have I will gladly ramble about literally anything you ask me :D#I'm trying to keep on topic but it's hard it's all so entwined hehehe#I have Scenes written and so many more planned!!#I have themes on gender and dichotomy and free will and past/future and loneliness it's all in there >:D give this boy TRAUMA#In contrast I'm also giving joker a pair of roller skates on fire called 'odile' and that's how he gets to school >>:D#p5#Third eye au#bayonetta#ask#answered#answered asks#crossover#long post#It's getting longer!!#Again thank you sooooo much for asking I'm genuinely over the moon to get to talk about this ☺️

You’re design of Ghirahim gives me Bayonetta vibes. Was that on purpose?
Not on purpose! I haven't played the bayo games and am not too familiar with her character beyond Smash - she does rock those glasses and I can see the visual similarities in retrospect! My main inspirations for Ghirahim were hints of Gina Linetti (Brooklyn 99) and Umbridge (Harry Potter), which both probably have some overlap with Bayonetta's vibe!
Also since I got an "omg I love Ghirahim but hate Umbridge why would you do this to him" comment on Twitter a while ago - to clarify, I'm taking SOME INSPIRATION from Umbridge's character, like her wielding a position of administrative power and infuriatingly lording it over students, and RE-MIXING it into my version of Ghirahim. I'm not at ALL saying Ghirahim IS Umbridge, just that I thought of Umbridge a couple times while drawing Ghirahim, because they both represent administrative obstacles in the way of the students.
#hyrule university au#anon#ask#ghirahim#sorry just wanted to add the Ghirahim Isnt Umbridge disclaimer bc i KNOW i wrote Ghirahim is <literally male umbridge> on his profile#which is hyperbole but if taken out of context can be pretty mean#but i mean. ghirahims kinda disturbing in the actual game canon so#theres a limit to how much i can make him Funny and Good when the source material ghirahim is an innuendo machine#sorry for co-opting this ask to talk about the ghirahim-umbridge spectrum haha
