Send me 'come back to bed' for my character's reaction to being caught sneaking out the morning after.

Shirt, ha! But where were her pants? Kate twisted around at his tired voice, looking down at Dom with wide eyes. She hadn't expected to wake him up. Pressing her lips together, she felt the nervousness that had driven her out of the bed fighting to babble. "Sorry. I've never done this before. Not sex, I've done that, I mean obviously, I meant the whole meeting a guy from a wrong number. I thought you'd want me to--" She jerked her thumb towards the door even while she edged back towards the bed. Sitting down, she reached out and slid her fingers through his hair.

Keanu did very well when it came to his game but that wasn’t going to be in play tonight. At least not with this ex it wasn’t that’s for sure. He had a feeling she wasn’t going to be much help as she was pausing to have a cigarette instead of going inside to help him.

“She’s an ex of mine and there’s some things I need to discuss with her,” he said being honest but vague. It wasn’t any of her business.

When she upped the price to twenty dollars Keanu instantly shook his head. As much as he wanted his stuff back he wasn’t going to waste that much money or go through that hassle. “I’m not going to do that. Come on, you’re heading in there anyways.”

"Seven dollars? I hope your chat up game is better than your bargaining." Kate rolled her eyes, as she retreated back from stepping into the bar and opting to lean against a side wall. Reaching for her pack of a cigarettes and causally plucking one to light up, she tilted her head and stared at the desperate man.

"Why's she so important?" She asked, slighting intrigued.

"I'll do it for twenty dollars. Bank transfer."

What if all the creeps were connected somehow? Even by coincidence

They’d all be connected through the same few towns/cities/the woods.

Jeff Jane Nina are easiest to connect.

Jeff and Jane went to the same school we can easily retcon Nina to have been a grade or two under them in the same school. (Jeff and Liu lived there for like a year before everything went down)

Jack is originally from the same town as them before he went to college and even passed by the kids during winter break while visiting home. (My version of Jack doesn’t age so brother is like stuck at mid 20’s until something kills him). And maybe Liu had a kid crush on him (16 vs 20, his gay awakening lol).

Jane working a summer at a summer camp where she meets clockwork before becoming clockwork and before Jeff hurt Jane.

Helen being bullied by the same kids that bullied Toby. Escaping into local woods to catch a fucking break. Maybe he’s on a small cliff and sees the Toby and Lyra accident happen. (He’d be in the same school as them but Toby and Lyra would be too focused on their own issues to worry abt rumors of a dude stealing a watch).

Ben drowns in the woods Helen likes to escape to. Funnily enough the lake Helen likes to sketch the most bc it’s peaceful is the lake Ben drowned in.

Perhaps his cartridge is bought by the Woods brothers at a garage sale before he starts driving people to die, they never get to play it because of what happened so it gets sold in a estate sale.

Tim comes from the same town as Toby. It’s his hometown and he avoids it like the plague. Having been put into the psych ward as a young kid.

This is the same psych ward Liu get put into after Jeff kills their family and tries to kill Liu, and Liu develops DID? Idk but bros going through it.

Brian and Tim meet at college (before Jack is in college) and Marble Hornets happens. I want to specify Jack and them would go to different colleges bc Tim tries to completely leave his past behind when he moves to Alabama.

In the city Jack goes to college there are 2 prominent cults. The one that sacrifices him to Chernobog. And the one that see’s Dina as the reincarnation/vessel for Belobog. These two are counterparts Chernobog of darkness and chaos and Belogo of light and goodness. One vessel forced to lose his humanity and struggling with the new life he has and the other raised and accepting of her role becoming the god she believes herself to be. These two do not get along Jack tries to understand her and her motivations in his anguish but she tries to kill him seeing him as an enemy and a stain.

Maybe Kate is also from the same town as Tim and Toby. Something about sourcing all his proxies from the same specific town… I think they need to have something overlapping though. Maybe they all explored the woods at young ages to escape their respective issues. Toby avoiding his step dad and bullies the woods being the only safe space he has that isn’t his sister. Tim stumbling upon Slender’s “resting” site he accidentally sets him free and that’s why Slender starts going after him first. Kate exploring the woods and mines getting slender sick from prolonged time out there.

Kate smiled, a quirk of her lips. "Well if I'd known that, I'd have gone for a second swipe of glade. But the woods do smell nice." Pine and cold and dirt, grounding scents that mostly reminded her of the park. And Christmas. Wiping her hand on her pants, Kate stood back up. "You're the boss, Cos."

Cosmo wasn't angry, just disappointed, and if she thought about it, being disappointed was worse than being angry. Cosmo tilts her head, watching Kate.

She likes Kate and Cosmo trusts her. "It's okay. I get lost sometimes too. With all those wonderful and sometimes weird smells. Right now, I can smell you and the woods around us." She wags her tail a bit before gently lapping up the water from Kate's hand. When she finishes the water, she licks her own lips and points with her head. "Let's go this way."

Starting Lost as somebody who managed to avoid spoilers for 25 years

Just started Lost, 21 years after its release. So far I can tell that everyone is bound to have some sort of purpose. A doctor, a pregnant woman, even the dog seems to play a part in what will become the stories dynamic. This moment where Kate is pulling the shoe off of one of the deceased passengers is so telling of her character (what I've gathered). She obviously looks upset, but she does what "needs to be done" in order to survive. She then regards John with an uncomfortable stare when he smiles at her with an orange peel over his teeth as if to say he should be mourning or upset by the dead. But she's the one pulling the shoe off the dead guy.

Can anyone tell me if this is supposed to be sci fi or fantasy? I'm trying my best to not look anything up (I'm going crazy over it).

The first one is our alt-universe gangs - technically Miles and Carrie are now in the main universe (and I forgot Lana, I'm so sorry girliepop you don't deserve this) but they were bros back in their own universe pre-merger. Terry, Helena, and Gwen are also friends - more so Terry & Gwen than Helena, but she is around and likes them. She would love for them to go one hangout without blowing something up, but Bat & Spider luck is transdimensionally bad, it's not their fault.

The other one is just Kate Bishop & Tim Drake. I realized that my designs for them look fairly similar, and the image concept just kinda came to me while I was at work the other day, so I just had to draw them <3 Would they get along? Maybe. Who knows? but their appearances give me alternate universe twin vibes and they're both half of a popular noncanon queer ship from their respective universes so like. Idk they're fun I don't owe any explanations. Also, Hawkeye and Kestrel. They've got birds of prey as their codenames.

WHERE : a random skyscraper in new york

SYNOPSIS : yelena is on another mission that has brought the assassin back to new york. while looking out for her target she bumps into her former frenemy, kate bishop, who ends up getting roped in.

"Kate Bishop," the blonde gestured towards the other woman, finding amusement in the fact that she still remembered her full name. The two hadn't seen each other since Yelena had backed down from her murderous plot towards Barton. Why would they? The two were vastly different, with very different views on not only morals but the world as a whole. Despite the passive aggressive, hostile persona Yelena put on, over time she had grown fond of the archer. While Yelena knew she would win in a fight everytime, Kate definitely gave her some push back.

Yelena lowered both guns, showing that she wasn't here to fight - at least not with her. "It's great to see you again Kate Bishop," there is was again, her full name. At least point Yelena just got a kick from annoying her. "I would love to catch up over pasta and some beers, but right now is not the time." It was obvious the blonde was being sarcastic, alert eyes darting back and forth between the open door and the other woman. "Now, if you could just move out of the way, I have a guy to kill and the longer you're standing there, the more time he has to escape so chop chop. I don't want to have to kick you out of the way."
