Okay, my turn :)

Imma ramble about Lillie because she's getting more incorporation lately. :D

So while she keeps at least some traits from canon, a lot of them got yeeted and changed because she gets cursed— I mean blessed with ✨Sleep Deprivation ✨.

Lillie is a very important character in the canon storyline and, in turn, plays a really big role in their debut project. So important that she's basically a or the main character at this point aside from the player. This gives her a LOT of scenes to work on. Her Mancers kept reassuring her that she'll work on one more scene until she can take a break for the day, but it never or barely happens ("Just one more scene," "Okay, one more scene," "maybe this is the last one for today :D," ect, ect).

You heard in the Poké fandom of how notoriously long cutscenes are in the Sun and Moon games? This is a play on that, plus a rather exaggerated portrayal of Japan's toxic workplace culture. It got so bad that some of the Fictionals would sneak out for a bit just to take proper breaks. Lillie, however, stays behind because it's been hammered into her head over and over again that she's the centre of the project, so she deeply believes she mustn't mess up!

Cont. Of the Lillie ramble She would hallucinate all over the place from time to time, get cranky, assertive, impulsive from the sleep deprivation. If she was well rested, she wouldn't be like that a lot, but still stressed and restless like before. Regardless, she's a nice person just like in canon. Due to her home territory favouring hero actors more, she gets privileges. A bit of it got into her head, but it's not a lot. And here's her meta lore: She was around since the previous paracosm, she was and supposed to be SpongeBob's new close friend. Seen working together, hanging out together and all. But Jellyfish Duo happened, so I unconsciously gradually yeeted her by accident and she ended not showing up as much until the recent update. Lillie, I'm so sorry Spunch did this to you. Xnndjdndjdjdkdjdjdjdjdjrjdjdjsjsixjdidj

Screen Universe SpongeBob!!!

I couldn't find enough content of SpongeBob being edgy, serious, and depressed on Tumblr. Also the whole dissonance between seeing posts of SpongeBob being his canon, genuinely happy self, and my paracosm corrupting my perception of him thing going on. Like, it's technically correct, but it feels wrong.

Also, he's just so cool in my head. Like, he's pretty badass, serious, and sassy at times. He's decently smart. Not super smart like Sandy, but enough to be pretty cleaver.

Of course, he has his flaws and issues too. He has imposter syndrome and low self esteem. Sure, he may think highly of his friends, but not of himself. He thinks he's incompetent even though he's pretty good at some things. He's also pretty indecisive at times too. There are also times where he can be rude and maybe a bit western centric in a sense that he finds anime (Eastern as they call it) hair weird. But it could just be him teasing his pals from the Nintendo Empire.

Whenever he occasionally does a live performance of a video game, he sometimes takes things too seriously and jabs at the characters for the "lack of logic" so to speak. Like, there was this one mental scene of SpongeBob arguing with Lusamine about her possibility of surviving living in Ultra Space and it disrupted the cutscene for like about the fourth time. There's also a scenario where he calls Volo's plan stupid because he questioned how would destroying the world work if the villain himself doesn't have anywhere else to live. It's pretty funny, I even made an animatic based on it.

Oh, I also wanna talk about his tendancies of befriending villains. While he technically befriended a few and is a friendly acquaintance with the others, him being chill and vibing with the villain actors is so cursed, yet it's so right. It's one of the canon traits that stayed I guess.

He also takes care of animals from his show and has this fascination of riding on "creepy animals" (read: eldritch abominations) for some reason (as in, mounting on a horse kind of way). He finds said eldritch things cute in a creepy-adorable kind of way. His favourite animal is of course the jellyfish. He has this special form of connection or bond with them.

Also, if a Nicktoon dies, SpongeBob sews up a plushie version of them and puts a tiny jar of their ashes and sometimes another item related to them as his way to grieve. If the plush doesn't have the ashes inside, that means the person it's based on is just missing. Dw, he sometimes makes plushies for fun.

This is the response for the Pokémon ask thing. Sorry for the super late reply, got caught up into some real life things. But please enjoy this deranged ramble :>

Anyways! Grand choice! Grand choice! If I have to be honest, I was anticipating for either one of the Poké villains because they seemed very popular. Though, Cynthia is popular too. Also, a Cynthia dup, huh. Well, that's a first, I usually kept running into Lusa dups in the Daydreaming Discord server I'm in, lmao.

She may not be as lore heavy as the other blonde bitch, but she gets enough to the point of getting a backstory and some significant ties to the paracosm's big bad evil mouse guy.

So, Cynthia.

This Poké para is practically similar or the same as her canon counterpart personality wise. Just more serious and maybe a bit sassy/sarcastic given the trauma and suffering I put her through with the mouse alone. She was very well off at first in lore. A very respected actress for her job when on camera and a renowned fighter when off camera.

Yeah, the main cast in the paracosm are this skinwalker-esque species who are made mainly and solely to act and entertain the audience. In order to do that, they must wear the meat suits of their given characters and bear their names. Should they try to physically diverge or remove the meat suits, let's just say that bad things happen if they try to disown/change their names, and it'd hurt like shit if they remove the skin suit. They don't know who exactly are the audience, but they've been told by their creators over and over again that there are entities watching or playing their work. And these entities must be entertained, get something out of their performances.

Back to Cynthia, she's been very popular amongst the fellow actors thanks to her work/performance, and her character leaving a lasting impression on people. Because of her role as one of the good guys in the canon Pokémon storyline, she has the advantage and the privileges to navigate in a society that favors those who play that role more.

So, how did she got traumatized? How did all that fame, fortune, and privileges slipped past her finger tips?

It all started with a mouse.

In 2010, Cynthia had to perform for Mickey live for his birthday. It was a live performance for Pokémon Platinum. It was all fine and dandy at first. Though, over time, Mickey... Let's say his delusional episode started kicking in. You see, he can easily tell that his own project is an act all the time. But he can't easily tell if the others' works are real or not most of the time, so he has a tendency to attack the villain actors for what their canon personas did. Even if he does tell what is real and an act with some of the others' series, he'll still be a bigot towards villain actors and even commit hate crimes against them.

Towards the end of Cyrus's final act, Mickey tried to attack him in the Distortion World because of his delusions, insanity, and saviour complex. Cynthia saved Cyrus, but at the cost of losing a leg to Mickey. Right after they escaped from the mouse king, they tried to report him to the authorities of the Nintendo Empire. However, the trial kinda ended on a tie or a null. No one got guilty'd or taken to jail. Mickey is a king and can easily get away with a lot of things, this incident and the other Pokémon live performance incidents included. Cynthia still has privileges, so she's spared, and Cyrus just barely survived and only managed to escape from getting enprisoned because Cynthia had him cover.

Some months after the trial, rumours begin to spread, they were about the Sinnoh Champion herself. They can consist of her relationship with Cyrus and being brainwashed by the villain actors to help them overthrow the Nintendo Emperor, Mario. These made everyone become suspicious of Cynthia, leading up to robbing her wealth and her home, along with her socio-economic status. After that, she's been banished into the Villainous Underground, a ghetto-like place where villains, usually from very oppressive territories, live when off camera. Since then, she's been taken in by the residents and just lives there.

Nowadays, she hangs out with the villain actors of her series since they're all she has now. Some of the champion playing colleagues who were once close to her now reject and disown her from their social group thanks to those rumours.

In a following Live Performance incident, Cynthia lost an eye while helping Lysandre. I just thought it'd be neat and cool to give her a key stone for an eye. In another incident, I decided she loses a forearm while helping Lusamine with Mickey's attacks. It doesn't help that it was Ms. President's very first gig and her live first audience was not the Sponge bestie she intended to invite over, but the deranged mouse king himself.

I forgot to add/mentioned that Mickey adn one of the high ranking cult members started a smear campaign on Cynthia's ass and that's how she got angsted

That sounds so much darker and more convoluted to my poké paracosm where they're all just silly little guys with their silly little mons and their silly little family relationships but I kinda love it. My Cynthia isn't a main character in my paracosm but she's trans and immortal and terrified (/hsrs) of a 15 year old that keeps kicking her ass and she's so iconic about it. Girl committed atrocities and it's coming back to bite her 250 years later

Next up, Actor/Fictional!Ghetsis

Yes, we're going from the earliest release date to later release date, it seems.

This is when shit starts to get complicated because of world building and lore things. But I'll talk about the "before everything got complicated" bits first.

Basically, Ghetsis is pretty chill for the most part. Despite his role and persona, he's one of the Fictionals who takes everything a lot better than some of the villain actors starting out. Then again, he has been playing the role for quite some time now (like, around 5 years in), so he figured out how to cope with it well by then with the breathing techniques and stuff.

Then Mickey caused problems (again) and that's where complicated shit hits the fan.

It's pretty similar to Cyrus's incident, but this time no one could save Ghetsis in time because the mouse is a lot quicker in this incident. And instead of forever amputation, he straight up died permanently in his live performance for the mouse.

So now the creators/mancers/deities have to make another Ghetsis to take the previous one's place in case he's needed for future projects. Which is eventually true.

Now the replacement, he's not as chill as the first one in a sense that he's freaking out about what's going on and what's happening to him. He's learning the ropes, picking up where his predecessor left off, and living in a society that despises those who play the likes of his character (or at least similar to it).

As a result, he resorted to... Unhealthy and unstable coping mechanisms because he has almost no one by his side. N got tired dealing with the aftermath/results of the incident and distanced himself from his father's actor, and the replacement has isolation as one of those shitty mechanisms (if he, the actor, is away from everyone else, that'd mean he can't hurt anyone ever again with his character, right? Not only that, but that'd mean no one can hurt him in return. Or that's how he sees it)

Oh, also, he gradually inherits the memories of the past actor and that's how he got traumatized by Mickey's kill or the past Fictional's death.

Funny enough, he's the second para to fall victim into the "oh fuck, I'm in a body of an abuser! How do I get out!?" thing, the first being the Pres's actress. Yeah, development spikes and shit made the ordering a tad loop sided.

Oogh give these poor men a break!! Surprisingly Ghetsis doesn't play a huge part in my paracosm despite it being heavily set in Unova. Mine's entirely post B/W and B2/W2 so he existed but he's kinda irrelevant now. Pretty in line with canon tho

I have a Volo and a Cogita para, but they were just guest paras for Cynthia to hang out/mess around with, like show them the ropes on how to act and stuff since she's technically the first to exist of the three release date wise (DP released on 2006, PLA released on 2022). I barely put any focus on Cogita, but Volo was rather fun to work with as an actor. An example of this is when Cynthia was trying to style his hair for his villain reveal with a ton of hair spray lmao. I even joked about her taking Volo's place for the day one time, probably because bro got sick for work and Cynthia looks really similar to him from the get go.

However...

Uhhh, let's say that Mickey, uh, went after Volo in his live performance. It was the very scenario that propelled the mouse's ties/relationship with some of the other Pokémon characters, why and how Ghetsis perma dying canonicalize itself into the lore and why Cynthia's being vibe checked. Back then, Lusamine was the first and only Poké villain to fight Mickey since day one. But Volo popularized getting bullied by the mouse, so the bitch is now reduced into being the fifth or sixth victim of the Mouse's live performance crimes. In the PLA live performance incident scenario, Giovanni talked about Ghetsis being perma killed in the past out of nowhere and that's how I incorporated this out of place reference into the lore.

I forgot to add that the Volo vs Mickey incident wasn't meant to be canon to the paracosm at first, but it kinda did become canon later down the line. By the point where/when PLA became a thing, a lot has happened

I don't give much focus to Cogita either I forget about her a lot. She's just kind of There and isn't particularly important
