so since we’re getting executor alter/Return to Laterano and half of this will probably be swept away by canon, I want to restate the “Sora is a disconnected Sankta” theory

Executor’s files state

I have a distant relative who had great musical talent ever since she was a child. Contrary to what others expected, she was able to embark on this tumultous path. Fortunately, she seems to hate me very much because I cannot see the illusion she creates, nor understand what it means to people.

which seems to match Sora both in terms of being a musical prodigy, and her explicitly shown tendency to put up some manner of illusion to disguise herself (looking Lupo before E2 and Cautus after it, with her race officially undisclosed). Her E2 art has a bow-and-heart theme, which is angel-adjacent by way of Cupid, and her microphone-staff has the more well-defined, geometric patterns that seem to characterise Sankta Arts. Since both her race and place of birth are censored by management request, it’s probable that the two are interrelated, and Laterano is one of the strongest such associations.

Being disconnected from the Sankta Law/empathy would both explain the “contrary to what others expected”, especially in light of Laterano culture in general tending to promote individual interests and expression (so the idea that “if you go into music you’d fail” in general is likely absent). It’d also explain why Exusiai doesn’t seem to have twigged onto her (aside from her whole thing with Mostima, Exusiai is also confused by Agenir being another blank during IS). It’d also explain why Executor not understanding music would frustrate her - since she might otherwise expect some level of understanding between the two that she wouldn’t have with others.
