I like reading about Luffy starving because there is something wrong with me and I like to see him suffer because he's my favorite <3

But also because of the sanji angst and sanlu

Like them running out of food while they're still days away from an island so they have to ration food and Luffy needs more food because he has a really high metabolism but he refuses to eat because his crew comes first and how distraught sanji would be as the cook

He'd be begging Luffy to eat because Luffy is literally starving but Luffy would ask if there would be enough for everyone to eat and Sanji would stay quiet and then Luffy would refuse the food (forget about fish for a moment idk what happened to them but they're gone)

Or Luffy getting captured by some pirates and he doesn't get fed for days before his crew find him and sanji having to resist the need to feed him a mountain of meat because chopper says it would be bad for him

And this is very ooc because Luffy doesn't care what anyone says about him but what if suddenly everyone yelling at him for his eating habits gets to him and he decides to just stop

He still does eat but it's usually one or two servings and it's not enough for him because of his really high metabolism and he's starving

And at first everyone was really confused about the sudden change and a little worried but Luffy seemed to be doing fine after a few days and they all accepted it as the new normal and were even encouraging it

Sanji talks about all the free time he has now that he doesn't have to constantly fight off a hungry luffy and Nami is delighted about all the money they can save on food and Usopp is really glad he no longer has to protect his plate during meals like it's the world's most precious treasure

And Luffy sees how much happier his crew is and he can't bring himself to take it away so he bites his tongue and keeps ignoring his body for them

He quickly starts losing strength and starts sleeping the days away barely waking up to eat, chopper gives him a check up but can't figure out what's wrong (idk how doctor stuff works, since he's eating enough for a normal human chopper doesn't think he could be starving)

It gets really bad and chopper is working day and night trying to figure out what's wrong and he's blaming himself for not being a good enough doctor and Luffy knows what's wrong but he doesn't want to upset his crew but they're really upset right now and he doesn't know what to do

Eventually he does come out and say it when chopper decides to ask him if he has any idea of what may be wrong and he starts off with "promise you won't be mad" because I can't imagine Luffy starting that off any other way

So Luffy tells chopper and he is horrified and immediately orders something from sanji and the word spreads quickly and soon everyone knows Luffy was starving himself because of them and they all feel really bad about it

White Luffy is being fed a soup because he became too weak to do it himself everyone is there with him crying and asking why he didn't just eat more of it was killing him and Luffy would say that they were all so happy when he stopped eating as much and he didn't want to take kr all away and it makes everyone feels worse

When he gets better they never complain about his eating habits again and they have a really low tolerance for other people commenting about it either and it becomes well known not to do that unless you have a death wish

It would probably be a slow recovery though

Luffy would still be hesitant to eat more than two plates even if Sanji had been cooking all of his favorites amd je would eventually make a full recovery but I just really want the angst of the strawhats begging their captain to eat, something they hadn't thought they'd ever need to do, and knowing he was hesitating because of them

And imagine how guilty they would all feel about the comments they made and trying to take it back and them seeing how much it really affected him

I got really carried away with that last one and I could definitely keep talking about it but at this point I might as well make it into an actual story

His appearance is like...Idk he's like kinda attractive but his long hair is really fucking baked because he was the friend who would dye it every weekend back in high school before he just dyed it black with blonde tips and that's how he looks now.

THE LORE:

Sebastian and Cyrus first met in high school because Sebastian was seated next to him in math. Sebastian thought Cyrus was alright at first and he was pretty smart because Cyrus provided all the answers Sebastian didn't know and they passed with flying colors. After a while, Cyrus' presence started to become annoying but Sebastian tolerated him because they were going to go to the same college and he wanted to be familiar with someone. Cyrus is still completely convinced they're besties though.

BASICALLY WHY THIS MATTERS:

At some point, Cyrus stole a knife from Sebastian's house out of boredom, and for some reason always handles it with gloves as if it's precious?(Like bro it's a damn knife)

He used that knife to commit the 9 murders, but he made the mistake of dropping the knife when he heard police sirens and making a run for it(Bro...). Because the people he killed were known by both him and Sebastian, since Sebastian's fingerprints were on the knife, Sebastian was immediately suspected. After Sebastian's "death", Cryus was still completely and utterly convinced he was alive. Cyrus would occasionally check on Sebastian's family, and eventually he decided after like 2 years that he would turn himself in and "see where Sebs really is".

He then went to Urbanshade as an expendable. This is where he's at, there's more but this is the current position he's in.

Lol so uh, hi, I'm Pulse, and I don't use my personal tumblr as much as I should and I would like to change that. I recently made a decision to get rid of a side blog that made me pretty happy because the people who partook in said k!nk community made me want to rip my hair out after a while. To save you the suspense I had a blog focused around my tickling kink lol It's still something I think about lately but my interests have changed and I don't want to associate my OCs with just k!nk anymore. They're so much more than that.

I want to finally write my book one day. Maybe even get the drive up to work on the comic. Idk something, I want my babies out there. And it feels weird trying to do that with my n/sfw blog hanging over my head with these characters that is totally...ooc for most of them lol. So if you're following me from said blog, hi, it's good to see you again and sorry I've been so sparce. Life has been kind of mean this past month.

Idk if I mentioned it but but we lost our 7 year old German Shepherd Lucy to stomach cancer later in September. She was the light of our life and currently as I'm typing this I'm weeping once again for her. That's because it was a combo of my mental health taking a nosedive after deleting a blog I had for 8 years, a pit of depression I fell into, and ofc, OF fucking course losing our precious Lucy.

But today was the tipping point. Mandy, the dog we adopted from the pound, had to be taken to the vet one final time. The bastards at the pound knew she had kennel cough and they wouldn't wait on spaying her so she got aspirate pneumonia from the procedure. We tried so hard for a week to nurse her back to health, get her to eat, get her to take the meds, anything. She just like...tanked overnight. And we had already fallen in love with her.

Today fucking sucked. Losing Mandy is making the feeling of all my other loses hit me all at once and I woke up from a nap unable to stop crying. I know this is just a rough patch but wow this hurts. This hurts really bad. I just want Lucy back. I want Mandy back. I wanted to give Mandy a good home. She was so sweet and she was taken from us too soon.

Again, I want to get into the swing of using this blog more and posting art but currently I'm just trying to keep my head above water man. I can't even draw or do anything that I love to do.

It'll come back to me, I know it will. I just. I'm hurting right now so I guess please be gentle with me haha. And you’re right I think canon explore Ben and Devi as mirrors in s1 and since they got a “romantic turn” (in my opinion the dynamic was completely compatible w romance already) they tried to idk change Ben and Devi dynamic making them acting ooc sometimes like for example when in Paxtons episode in s2 Ben narrator interrupted Gigi, I was like this is it, this is a good moment to show that even when they’re in bad terms Ben is always kind of paying attention to Devi (like when Devi saw Anessa flirting w Ben and Paxton noticed and I was thriving w the 3 of them being aware of each other) but them they totally forgot it and make Ben and Devi act so so different even if Devi was guilty I can’t accept a universe where Devi just DECIDE TO TAKE BENS SHITTY BEHAVIOR?! We are talking about another girl! (Maybe that’s why I loved your fanfic where she entered the tent during the rally THATS DEVI) this is so long again but yes YOU MAKE JUSTICE FOR BEN AND DEVI THAT WERE NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE THE CLICHE DRAMATIC COUPLE!

you did it! you boiled down my issues with season two (and swaths of canon beyond) - that they tried to morph the dynamic to milk it for traditional romance angst like miscommunication and The One That Got Away energy. both of which are ANTITHETICAL to the thematic richness inherent in their set-up!!!

like, okay, it's realistic to write teenagers as self-absorbed and too preoccupied with their own narrative to see the complex inner world of others, but that's devi and paxton's story, not devi and ben's!! devi and ben are specifically the counterweight, accountability to the point of violence. seeing exactly who you are reflected back to you in someone else's perception and wanting to DESTROY. miscommunication should never come up as a legitimate obstacle for devi and ben because understanding the other comes as naturally as understanding themselves.

and because they're painfully recognizable to each other, they can't be a romantic ideal. they've been rooting around in each other's guts for too long, narrowing in on weakness, to ever be an unattainable object! they are wrestling in the muck of identity!! it's slippery but they grasp at each other anyway and their claws catch!!!! i'll never forgive the writers for messing this up!!!!!!!

because when they position ben as a romantic objective for devi, they obscure him from her. she can't be certain he forgives her. she can't be certain he likes her back. they become delicate and precious with one another and it's WRONG. fundamentally incompatible with their backstory.

anyway, thanks for prompting me to re-read the 2.05 fic. it is beautifully violent in all the ways that obviously get to me re: this pairing. almost like i wrote it to my own satisfaction or something.

1. The Runaway Club: brilliant amazing perfect 👌👌👌 It's like they put all of my favourite candy favours in a jar!! Definitely my go to bobs ep at any time

2. The Oeder games: suuuch a good season finale 😭 We're getting Mr. Fischoeder and all these fun side characters along with Bob's glorious shining moments

3. Ex mach Tina: "oh it's a Tina & Jimmy Jr ep no wonder why you love it" yeah yeah yeah pffft. It's a super good and hilarious one too 😭 All the plots are so fun and god I'll never shut up about my boy's musoems

4. Yes without my Zeke: look, it's a Zeke & Jimmy Jr ep and you know I'd eat it up any day!! Their precious interactions from the beginning to the end just bless my heart ❤️ And it's a heist kind of ep sooo 👀👌 There's Frond, there's Branca and bam! Golden comedy! I like Randy's B plot and Arnold too :D My only issue would be that Tina's distaste towards Zeke is pretty ooc considering this is s9. A little injustice to their current dynamic I think

5. Mother daughter laser razor: best s3 ep? Linda & Louise interactions in the whole episode crack me up. Their little bond moment in the end though 😭. This is probably my favourite Logan & Cynthia ep too, they're so golden!! I LIVE for that Freaky Friday rant and the "Diiiie, Logan!" pffffft. And the B plot is so fun, Bob waxing his legs with Tina, letting Gene wax his legs and the little pep talk are both so funny and lovely!

6. The kids run away: probably my fav Louise episode :D Sooo many good lines. "Bribing Louise? We don't have that kind of money". I really love Gayle in this one. Like her apocalypse night rant? Pfffft. And her helping out Louise in the end ❤️ There's also Dr. Yap and the whole "SQUAAAT!" thing

7. Work hard or die trying girl: musical battles baby!! MUSICALS!! I love Gene & Courtney interactions in this one :D And you know I'd dig any ep where they manage to put these many Wagstaff kids together! They're all so perfect! Labonz's great, the ending play's great (actually no it's AMAZING), the outro's great! I'd kill for another episode like this one

8. Best Burger: good? So good? The whole fig store flashback itself is perfecta!! I fricking love the dialogues and voice acting in this one. How they address Gene's flaw and how it's kinda flipped to Bob's flaw too and how it's resolved during Gene's last minute delivery is 👌 Definitely one of their best moments. Super fun ep that's unexpectedly sweet :] Also Mickey and that drunk flashback scene pffffft

9. Bob Day Afternoon: why is this ep so fricking funny?? The legendary phone call bit is everything!! Mickey & Bosco are 👌. And Tina 😭 precious and hilarious as always. The family clinging onto Bob before he delivers burgers is both so funny and oddly sweet. Idk why I like it so much, I just pick this ep everytime I wanna go unwind mindlessly wheezing for 20 minutes pffft

10. Sea me now: my fav Teddy episode :] I don't think it's a masterpiece kind of ep but something about it just gives me looots of good vibes. The storyline is pretty fun, Teddy's arc is so lovely, and Tina's cellphone plot is so stupidly funny. I especially love the ending, always so heartfelt to me ❤️ (but it's Teddy so there're funny lines interrupting too pffft)

i love these two so so much and you write them to, dare i say, perfection. i literally cannot imagine them being even slightly different than how you write them....i mean.... you've made them look so natural at every freaking single thing they do or think or act on, it's like they're real people because everything about them is so detailed and in character omg I LOVE THIS (idk if im making sense im so overwhelmed with happiness im giddy 😭)

i missed their dynamic so much and watching jungkook finally getting comfortable enough to trust her on some things is amazing and what's even more amazing is how she is experiencing that shift too.... honestly i feel happy for her when it comes to her feeling comfortable with trying to trust him and even relying on "probably's" as she says because even if that does lower her guard and might not always be the best thing to do in her line of work but i still feel that she's been so hardwired all her life to stay in that hyperaware and cautious state that she's in certain ways just not felt safe enough to truly "breathe" tbh. we know she's always forcing herself to shut down her emotions and surely after that long period of not really "feeling" things, all of these new emotions must make her feel different and uncomfortable in a sense but i truly hope she can find a healthy balance in feeling and honestly accepting those emotions (jungkook better help her with it if she ever needs support tho 😤)

i know i always say this but hector truly is the bestest character everrrrr i love him and he's precious 🥺 i love his dynamic with the oc too and the gentle understanding they have for each other is really like a safe place amidst the entire list of intense interactions among other characters in the story. i could write a thousand words about why i love this story so much and it wouldn't be enough 💗

ohhh and i loved reading the long author's note too! pls feel free to write em as long as you want 😌 i love this story and i feel grateful that you choose to share it with us! that said, you definitely don't need to rush with the story. write at whatever pace you feel comfortable with and i'll be always here to support you (im sure a lot of us will be!)

i haven't been as active here as i used to be during the stay at home days since life has started happening again and im graduating soon too which means im having a very stressful time with the final year project and thesis too just like you mentioned you did but this iicngyp update came as a saviour in these stressful times and for that alone, i will support it till the end. you could say im emotionally attached to this fic 🥺

Ah no you make sense and this makes me so happy 😭 I was particularly worried about this chapter and if they’d feel ‘ooc’ (weird thing to say since I’m the one writing them I know) considering the fact that there’s a huge shift happening in their relationship, coming from Jungkook in particular. You’re right though, OC is not quite… there… yet. There are feelings that are starting to bubble to the surface and she essentially keeps shoving them back under. So yeah, it might take a little while until she gets somewhat healthy about it, but she’ll get there!

Hector is such a sweetheart, OC needed someone who’d be on her side and I’m happy with how he turned out and the fact that people like him that much 😁

I’m not looking to rush the story, but also sadly my productivity just plummeted after Covid and it’s upsetting because there’s a pretty direct link between my mental health and that (if I don’t write I’m less happy, if I’m less happy I don’t write, so it’s quite the vicious circle lol).

Ah thank you so much again, with this chapter I was actually quite unhappy with the way it turned out until I edited it, and then I was quite happy with it. The first scene (which had been written for months already) was almost entirely rewritten and I think it really helped ‘lift up’ the chapter. As much as I want to start with going into canon analysis, for me this is one of those bloody fucking plotholes jkr tossed into the story and just didn't think over too much.

Because the interpretation is either that Remus is really, really forgetful (unlikely), a really, really evil moron who doesn't care about anyone in the castle just his precious little secret from school years (and as much as I know he's a coward and has reasons for keeping THAT particular secrey - still seems oddly OOC) OR... That he has no knowledge of the castle and it's secret passages, because as you both suggested - he took little part in making of the Map.

The last one seems to make most sense canon-wise too and I am willing to lean to what @dufferpuffer wrote in terms of "the best explanation with what we are given"... BUT...

He was a Marauder, just like Peter was and I just cannot readily accept that his input was"helpful insight".

Aaaaaaand it still feels to me like "badly written plot because at the moment PoA was created, jkr only had general idea on how the past of her story would look like".

Other notable examples of the above would include:

Shrieking Shack as a hiding place (not only because Remus knew about it, but because DUMBLEDORE knew about it, having explicitly planted the Willow at the very entrance. In POA, when he has an entire year, he could have shared such a treasured knowledge in helping finding that criminal Sirius Black.

Or if it was such a private information, he could have remade the map on his own or with the help of house-elves etc. Like anything. Putting efforts that show that he is really worried just like everyone else for Harry's safety. About all the dementors negatively effecting all the kids in school.

I love how you think out of the box for some characters like Saeran, Jumin and Saeyoung. Your Saeyoung isn't that goofy, and your Jumin and Saeran aren't that hypersexualized thing, they're very vulnerable and sweet, especially your Saeran. I remember the first thing I read from you was the bartender scenario and all I could think was dammmnnn, this writer means business! It's so perfect!

Awwww, thank you, you all know how I feel about Saeran, he’s so precious, i don’t have the guts to do him as the sex sadistic god, though I like reading some fics about him like that (@fantasyimmortal‘s fics are da bomb on this and I love it). I think I said this before, but Saeran has a little perk on the fact we don’t know much about who would he be after making amends with Saeyoung, so writer’s imagination can go crazy! As for Jumin… I have the hardest time writing him, so idk if it is thinking out of the box or just going ooc with him, same thing with Saeyoung, idk how to be funny in the way he is, so I try to keep him sarcastic, but I’m glad you like.
