what anaxa had done to seal the deal was fairly simple; he asked for a second date. the professor had somewhat of a reputation, many saw him as a cold man, soulless when it comes to romance. but what you didn't know was that anaxa had been thinking about what to wear the night prior, something he saw as 'trivial' and 'not an important thing to consider'. or how your hand lingered a bit too long after he gave you your favorite coffee/tea/drink (his treat), little and seemingly insignificant details were becoming more and more important to him as the day of the date was building up, and he wasn't sure why.

it wasn't until after the long date—you grabbed his hand, told him that everything he arranged was perfect, and smiled at him so sweetly he was sure he'd wake up with a toothache. the gesture was unfamiliar yet not unwelcomed, it was then he realized that he didn't want to let this go, that he wanted this.. for the rest of his life.

which you did tell him. hair ripping threat and all, and naturally the nameless hero—who dominates battlefields and comes out victorious, is quick to confess his true motive for these frequent visits to your dorm. he just likes looking at you when you're focused, passionately discussing your favorite topic from your favorite subject and he gets to be a part of that experience for you.

he wants to emphasize; he gets to be a PART of something greater that you're DEEPLY passionate about, and understand you more as a person. (when he should be understanding the class but wtv)

boothill doesn't usually have time for dates, always moving on the road and hopping around penacony. but when robin set him up with a good friend of hers, he didn't want to decline. the cowboy was quick to realize you were really cute and interesting, so he didn't mind taking a day off... until it wasn't a day off.. and had to handle a quick bounty a couple of hours before your date.

this became a normal thing, the back and fourth 'scams'. and soon your time together became less for a transaction, more just wanting to spend time with each other. which you told him from the very first day that you couldn't care less about anything as long as he had money (you didn't know his name till 3 months of working together).

so one night, expecting the usual "oops! sent it to the wrong number!" or "hehe, maybe i forgot a few zeroes and sent you like 5 coins!" you get an actual message.

two stellaron hunters slowly growing to be interested in each other is a rather entertaining sight. kafka was quick to catch on, the lingering glances and subtle touches of affection that would slip the average persons gaze. what was unexpected-was blade's initiation of these gestures. how he'd have a protective stance over you during battle, despite your capabilities likely being on par with his. how he allows his hand to be taken into yours, treating his calloused hands gently after a long day of fighting with his sword, or even just the way he looks at you. it's soft, warm, with a hint of tenderness and admiration. despite his nonchalant face.

this becomes more obvious when he finally asks you out, and he's genuinely caring the whole time. he's interested in your discussions about life, entertains him when he asks you for any other details, and you don't make him feel alone. that's the most important thing. and he makes it clear how much he appreciates you with how he tucks your hair behind your ear, murmuring if he could have the blessing to kiss you. it isn't on the lips-he's not pushing his luck.. but just the cheek. it was something small, but for him? an absolutely huge step.

the date with the ever so well known dr. veritas ratio had gone well enough that you agreed to go home with him. he was quick to clarify that this wasn't to sleep with him, he wasn't that kind of man to push something so early on in what he described to be: "a relationship that may be something greater than i could ever imagine" but instead to take care of you. it seemed as if you were exhausted from the travel during the date, and a nice bath would usually help.

nice bath was an understatement, the guy had scented candles, soft music, the right ratio from bubbles to water, snacks for you to enjoy and had a whole selection of books to choose from.

he was introduced to you through yanqing, your former apprentice before he was taken in by the cloud knights. he found out you and jing yuan were around the same age, so the blondie tested out his luck playing cupid <3 so even if it wasn't an immediate yes to his shenanigans, jing yuan started slowly. he could see you had walls and he wanted them to go down upon your own hearts decision, rather than bulldoze through them.

that care never went away. not even years later when he tears up at how far he's come, watching you walk down that aisle and knowing you're his forever.

one of many, really. for one, gallagher was wondering who could ditch such a person. you clearly fixed yourself up nicely, your outfit was gorgeous and you were so friendly to him up until you realized you were stood up, and the pretty face that made his bar a little brighter went quiet. he couldn't have that.

by the time his shift ended, he slid a drink to you with a napkin. "take care of yourself, alright? come by tomorrow night, and you'll get yourself a real man to go on a date with."

he leaves and the napkin (cliche enough) has his number and name. "gallagher." you say to yourself, making a note in your drunken state to return same time tomorrow.

sunday totally took you out with vip seats to robins concert. did he have to do a LIIIITTLE bit of pursuading to have robin hand over these tickets? no.. but she did tease him for finally catching a date after all this time! and as much as he is a big admirer for his sisters work, the whole concert he couldn't take his eyes off of you. how you effortlessly glowed in a sea of people, how your passion for something as simple as music could rival his dream for eternal rest to penacony. he has dreamed of you, he's sure of it. someone so carefree and kind, a soul opposite to his, yet perfectly fills the other half of his empty heart.

he wrote poetry about you, robin found it, turned it into a song and had to awkwardly explain why robin's song that she specifically clarified to be written about someone he liked included descriptions of your physical appearance and hints of your personality.

found it very sweet, and insisted your next date should be something more personal so you can learn more about him the way he's learned so much about you without even needing to talk to you to do so. (was just happy to go on a second date)

when thinking about twst my mind always eventually bounces back to thinking about the little first year gang, because they're such a disaster group.

like arguably, none of them on their own are grade a troublemakers (except Grim). If we're going by chaos energy on their own, characters such as floyd, kalim, jade, lilia, ect. probably wreak more havoc. hell most of the dorm leaders, as intelligent as they are, are so arrogant that they cant seem to stop pissing others off.

but the first years have the terrible curse that their brain seems to fall out of their asses the moment another first year is nearby.

ace is the best example, we know from chapter 7 that he has a good head on his shoulders, but the moment an opportunity to mess with deuce/prefect/grim arises he throws all caution out the window. despite the voice inside his head screaming danger he can't ignore the siren's call of starting shit.

deuce, on the other hand, is a character that literally can't seem to avoid bullshit. He's trying so hard to be better and YET he keeps getting wrapped up in these looney toons ass situations. he's the unluckiest first year, and is also easy to anger and even easier to fool.

Epel is a good enough student when he's surrounded by the rest of pomefiore (who are arguably more insane than him) but he also can't ignore the allure of chaos. imo he's the enabler, with a personal philosophy of "you can solve every problem if you hit it hard enough"

jack tries really REALLY hard to not get involved, but he's also too emotionally constipated for his own good sometimes. remember that scene in stitch's event where he tries to help riddle and azul with carrying heavy items, then to cover up for his display of kindness he tries to be all like "psh yea you guys don't look that strong" and riddle prompty obliterates him for saying that. yea that. keeps shooting himself in the foot

ortho seems like he'd have a good head on his shoulders, but he has the same amount of social tact as idia. i mean he's really nice right up until the situation gets dire, and then he starts calling his friends idiots. he's absolutely correct btw, but ortho don't say that out loud

and finally sebek, who tries really hard to not be associated with the rest of these hooligans, but is argueably the worst person here. yells at everyone, insults everyone, sebek is the friend you cannot take out to eat because he doesn't know what an inside voice is and doesnt understand why he has to wait so long for his food despite the fact you're with a group of 7 during the busiest time of the evening.

Grim is like. the final piece to this puzzel. all the first years need a bit of chaos to get truly started, and grim cannot stop causing problems

|дﾟ)ﾉ Most of these headcannons are not mine and I do not take credit for all of them. But I just remembered reading them from many different platforms, so credit to the people who did think of most of these!

IF he has a crush on you ೃ⁀➷

● At first, he definitely would recognize that his perception of you had changed. He wouldn't label it as a crush though, he'd assume whatever he was feeling towards you was a distraction from becoming no.1, and try to forget you'd been crossing his mind lately.

● Was genuinely confused as to why you stood out in the first place even though you fit in with the rest of the class.

● If ignoring whatever it was he felt about you didn't work, he'd then try to push you away. When you two talk he'll brush you off and act more irritated. It would bother him if his attempts at dissolving his sudden thoughts of you weren't working. After talking with Kirishima, he would refuse to accept that he had a crush on you.

● He would start picking you as a training partner to try and find out why he likes you.

● He would be hyper aware of what he says around you and what he does. He doesn't want give away that he likes you on accident. He would rather die.

● I think he would be slightly annoyed if another person was hitting on you. He likes you because you're strong, and he not only views the other person as a distraction for your potential, but as a threat to him.

It's not like he was gonna make a move anytime soon, but he's been realizing you've been occupying his mind most of the time and being with somebody else just annoyed him, and he hated it.

● Bakugo would definitely wish things could go back to the way they were. He didn't know how to define nor deal with his emotions in this type of way, making his life a lot harder.

● He would want to know more about you, so he knows he doesn't have a 'crush' on a weird extra. but would refuse to call himself a stalker after he found most of your social media's (by himself) because he's not a obsessed extra. But he was curious about you nothing special.

● If you two ever did become friends, he would defend you. He can't have some lame extra disrespecting one of HIS friends. What does that say about him? He wouldn't make it a big deal in front of people, but he'd scare anybody who was rude to you into apologizing on their knees.

● He is not gonna treat you any better or any worse. He won't purposefully go out of his way to be mean or rude to you, like if he has to hand you something, he's not gonna throw it at your head. He'll hand it to you but still mumble about how annoying u are and that u better not get used to it.

● He's not gonna try and beat you to a pulp in training because he has some sort of feelings for you. He'll be a total show off, and when he's training with you he'd give you the same type of fight he would give his other classmates.

● And he will not immediately soften up to you or cry in front of you. Bakugo has too much pride, and he cares about his reputation. IF you two are close enough, he might have a rare vulnerable moment with you. "But he's cried in front of izuku!' You are NOT izuku. Izuku is a whole nother story.

● He won't hate you even more unless you give him a reason too, and if that's the case then he'll probably lose whatever tiny feelings he might have for you.

● Yes, he'll act more irritated by you, but he's not gonna have any actual hate towards you just because HE started feelings things for you. It'd be silly if he blamed you for his emotions, that's weak extra crap.

● He'll be annoyed and aggravated that he cant figure out and control his emotions, his anger isnt because of you, it's because he doesn't understand nor like the emotions he's suddenly aware of that he has for you.

● He won't hate it when you talk. The sound of your voice won't make him wanna take a swan dive. But he will act like he doesn't care one bit about what you're saying, but he will secretly take in whatever you're saying.

● Bakugo will not get offended or jealous at how strong you are. if anything, he'll find it attractive, that's why he likes you in the first place. if you were weak, you wouldn't even cross his mind the way you have been.

● During training, he won't change and cooperate just because of you. He'll try to outshine others like usual and be super annoying unless he literally has to work together to win. He's not changing his style because of you.

● He is going to give you an equal fight, maybe even give it all he's got on you. if he didn't see any potential in you, he wouldn't have liked you in the first place

● He knows you (and many others) found his personality annoying, and personally he never really cared about others opinions. but now that he likes you, whenever he sees you roll your eyes at one of his tantrums. he'll only feel even more angrier and embarrassed. But since he's stubborn he'll only double down on his behavior.

● If you ever decided to ask him out, he'd reject you because you beat HIM to it, and he's just that petty. but IF he asked you out and you rejected him, he'd insist until you said yes. And if you didn't he'd never talk to you again out of embarrassment.

● He will want you to find him attractive. He doesn't want you to be disgusted by him because he's aware that sometimes he acts like a rabid animal. He won't always try to be nonchalant

● He's a very honest person. He won't lie to you or anybodies face. even if he accepts that he likes you, he will want you to become better, he wouldn't wanna keep you in the dark about something.

●He be switching up sometimes. If he ever forced himself to try and have a conversation with you and it goes well, the next moment he's yelling at you for something stupid. Because why the hell is he trying so hard to conversate with you? But he can't help it, he'll subconsciously plan what he's gonna say to you and hates when it doesn't go his way. Denki got in his way? Boom! No more Kaminari.

● It's already cannon that he is SO nosy. God forbid you do something embarrassing thinking your ever alone.

● When you say something he thinks is funny, he forces himself not to laugh so he seems nonchalant? he doesn't know why he does this (he thinks his laugh is horrendous)

● Gets super mad if he's going out of his way to impress you and someone's else distracts you. 1. why is he trying to impress you and 2. His attempts were for nothing because when he turned around you were talking to denki, and that made him feel silly.

● If you playfully tell him to shut up, he might take it literally if he can't tell. He wants you to like him, because why should he be the only one 'suffering' because of his emotions. He's secretly worried about what you think of him.

● If you didn't listen to his every command during training or a mission he would be annoyed, but excited because your giving him a challenge, a reason to prove how good he is. But if you did listen to him when he bossed you around he would probably end up also listening to you during those moments as well.

● if he EVER gives you advice and you didn't take it. don't ever expect it again.

● His encouragement would sound super backhanded and come across as more of an insult. if you were feeling nervous and he said something like " Quit being like these lame extras and go do something badass, or else I'll make you regret it!" but he's not insulting you.

● Is not a sweet talker. You'd think he's your biggest hater but really he just likes you. Which is why he's always finding ways to get your attention, usually indirectly like being a show off.

● He finally stopped ignoring you and accepted his crush on you. And you'd both get into arguments pretty often about the STUPIDEST things.

●.When he feels butterflies around you, he'd immediately walk away. He HATES the butterflies and always grumbles about them, complaining about lunch rush being a terrible chef or whoever was cooking his meal that day.

● He accepted that you've been worthy enough for him to have feelings for you. and he'd hype himself up, cause what reason would there be to not like the future no.1 hero? but on the inside he's scared you probably don't like him, because most of your interactions are him brushing you off and backhanded comments, or petty arguments.

● Will try to stand out more around you for some reason to impress you. he knows he's the best, but he wants to make sure you know it.

● If he ever studders around you, he'd start yelling at you to shut up, and then go blow Denki up.

● He'd try so hard to be non-chalant around you, but fails 2 minutes later after throwing a yelling fit. He stopped trying when he realized you didn't seem to mind his yelling.

● Will try to do nice things for you but make it seem like he's begrudgingly doing you a favor, and that your just slowing him down.

● Would call you a lot more mean nicknames instead of just extra. not teddy bear, but a nickname he made up relating to your features. Like Kirishima is shitty hair for example.

● He is not changing his sleeping schedule just so he can stay up with the class and play Mario cart with you

● He'd threaten the life of anybody who caught onto his feelings for you, but there wasn't much he could do when even Mr. Aizawa noticed (was he that obvious?)

● Would lie awake thinking of things to get you out his mind, like insulting you for some mistakes you made. It didn't work because he knew you learned from them and got better unlike a weak extra.

● If you couldn't defend yourself he wouldn't do it for you. but if you didn't CARE to defend yourself but he know you could, he'd go threaten the life of whom was disrespectful or simply pissed all over your name or something.

● Once he learned your favorite food, he made it often but denied any accusations towards him when you said it was your favorite. Even once said it was his favorite and you copied him.

● wouldn't make any sort of move on you

● wouldn't want anything sexual with you during his time at U.A. he probably wouldn't even wanna date you until he graduated. His focus is entirely based on becoming better, training, and becoming no.1

● He if you ever slacked off he would start to slowly lose feelings if your behavior wasn't changing.

i turn from my book to look behind me, seeing the boy id been actively avoiding for the past two days. carrying his surf board.

i shouldve remembered he'd come here to surf. i just wouldn't have guessed this early in the morning.

"hey jayj."

"oh thats all i get? 'hey'? no 'i miss you so much'?" he sets his board in the sand taking a seat next to me on my blanket.

guess im not finishing my book today. "oh my god jj! youre here! ive been dyingggg to talk to you! i cant believe youre really in here in the flesh! there. better?"

okay was ghosting him out of nowhere awful of me? probably. i just didnt know what else to do.

after that night at the bonfire i realized that with my feelings for him growing it wasnt a good idea for us to continue our casual... something. it played with both our emotions. it isnt fair to either of us.

especially after his 'i love you'. that really did it in for me.

what if... gn! reader finds out dottore has a sensitive spot... like yk how sometimes people have a spot on their waist where if you poke them there a little they jump and yelp... this might be a little too silly for dottie but idc i need someone to know this idea exists.

reader finds out about this because they have a very similar kind of sensitive spot which dottore just kinda finds out exists on accident, and ever since then he and the segments start teasing reader about it, poking them there and then teasing them and saying how amusing their reaction is.

but one day, reader gets a little fed up with it and decides to get him back and poke one of the segments on the side too, mostly on impulse (it wasnt even the younger ones lmao) and they dont think anything will happen, but to their surprise he lets out a little high pitched noise and jumps in place, turning around to them with a scowl that quickly turns into a blush barely hidden by his mask... and now the tables have turned as they use this new information to tease the original and every other clone. dottore/the segments cant even do it back anymore because every time he thinks of it, he remembers what reader did, and a blush creeps up on his face again

You always hated how your lover seemed to have no weak points. Tickles? Either Dottore wouldn't even spare a glance at you, or if he was particularly fed up, he'd turn back to you with a devious smirk and set his fingers to work on you. Squeezing and pulling some random places? No reaction. Punching? Your own fist would hurt you more than it hurt him. Technically, it was probably in character for him not to be sensitive to anything, but you refused to believe that to be true. You'd find something.

After all, you had to get revenge on him and the segments for thinking they could poke you around all willy-nilly. When you're grumpy? Poke. When you're minding your own business? Poke. Even when you're happy! Poke. Your gasp and squeal at your sensitive spot melt all previous tension in the room as the other segments chuckle. They were so cruel! Taking advantage of your weakness for a quick laugh... hmph.

Of course, it was only a matter of time before your patience paid off, even if it was unintentional. Most of the time, your quips at the teasing segment only served to embarrass yourself more. But when you finally poke this Dottore in some random spot, he lets out a very un-Dottore-like yelp that makes even you flinch, and to make things worse, the vial in his hand cracks and starts dripping down from your sudden jab. For a split second, the segment has to process that really just did happen, in front of you no less, the one who already knows all his secrets and will now add this damning one to your collection. The poor guy turns on you instantly, but he literally cannot do anything because you're laughing too much at that ungodly noise and blushing cheeks. Let's just say, for once, you're the one hunting down Dottore. He is not safe.

A part of you is overjoyed by this little discovery, but another part of you is disappointed in yourself for not finding this out until now. Tch... you need to step up your game. What secret of Dottore's will you discover next?

ANAKIN SKYWALKER , fresh out of high school with his short cropped dirty-blonde hair and his watercolor eyes. He's kind, popular among customers. There's something so alluring about him. There's just- something about him that keeps customers returning.  ㅤHe's working here over the summer before he goes into collage. Brows furrowed and He's looking at them as if they're mother nature. As if they'd made this frigid weather just to rain on Anakin's party. Their words die on their tongue, and instead, they stare like a deer caught in headlights. And he just stares right back.  ㅤ"Excuse me- I'm sorry to bother, but my car just broke down and I-" They start, laughing a little to ease their own anxieties. "I've been all over the place and My phones dead. Could you call someone-? or-" And they almost cut themselves off, too terrified at the idea of asking this particular gentlemen, Anakin, for help. "-or help? Maybe?"  ㅤAnakin humors them for their own sake. He nods, wordlessly, and shoulders past them, bracing a hand on their already opened hood as he leans over the front of the car. He doesn't see anything visually wrong, but it's always hard to tell when it comes to cold-weather breakdowns. "How long were you driving for?"  ㅤ"Not long- maybe five minutes? Give or take?" Anakin hums, nodding along. "Did you let your car warm up?" And they pause, and look at him as if he's the stupid one. But they laugh instead, and their cheeks flush even more as if they're embarrassed. "I was in a rush this morning- My fluids are probably frozen. A friend warned me about that once. I didn't even think of that."

 ㅤAnakin shuts the hood before he speaks again. He's found he doesn't mind their company. "It's a common issue. Happens all the time." And he pauses, before nodding to his coffee shop a few feet away. "You could grab a drink while your car warms up. I'll walk with you. I need to clock in anyway." And he cant say he's not delighted when they agree, letting their car warm up as they begin to walk towards the shop.

 ㅤThey handle most of the conversation, chatting away while Anakin listens. He'll add on every once in a while, but he prefers to watch and listen. Once they're inside, he takes their order, and repeats it in his mind when he makes it. Repeats the name they gave, too. Anakin scribbles down a note on the side of their cup before he hands it to them. Waves them off and bids them well. They can feel his eyes on them as they leave.  ㅤOnce they're back in their now properly running car, they glance at the note left scribbled on the side, ink smudged from his hand.

its such a mystery as to how ojima got drunk. its kinda (very) concerning if he was coerced/forced to drink and i feel like that would mess with him a LOT once he sobers up but i digress. if he got drunk on his own accord then i suppose it could make sense. user blake0022 on youtube left a comment on [cage game] where they theorised that he could have taken alcohol to numb stress. that does have some validity but i feel like takeshi isn't the kinda guy to drink (unless he is and just hasn't done it until now). also why was he still wasted after THREE HOURS??? earlier i mentioned how i felt like takeshi being forced to drink would mess with him a lot. the reason why i think this is because the reality of something being done to him without his knowledge would take him back to his trauma of not being able to control how he was treated at the hands of his uncle. (<- although, i could be overanalysing here and could also be proven wrong come friday.) back when i was watching [bruise], i remember him describing his headspace as 'somewhere where he could control things', and that statement is part of why i believe he'd be disturbed once he sobers up.

this leads me into my next point. in [cage game] hiroaki tells ojima to get off of him multiple times, implying that ojima was being very touchy with him; of course, he was absolutely PLASTERED at the time but it is still kinda weird (takeshi is still my goat though...). but this really makes me think about how he'd react upon sobering up and finding this out. i personally believe he'd be mortified--this also ties into my earlier point about doing things without knowledge or control over what is happening. i also think him being overly touchy towards hiroaki would contribute to him being distraught if we take his trauma into consideration. there is a slim chance this may also trigger his ptsd but i'm not familiar with the (c)ptsd experience and don't know anyone who do have it, so i'd like to be corrected if i got anything wrong here. i would like to inquire your opinion on this topic.

anyways i like ojima. hes very cool and interesting. on a different note, i believe he'd be more popular in the fandom if he were as whimsical externally as he is internally. i do feel like he's gaining more attention after the Drunkeshi Incident, but he's still fairly underrated compared to characters like hiroaki and kamimura. although he isn't as unpopular compared to isono and sasaki (i love you sasaki hitomi)

while we're at it i'd like to mention sasaki for a bit. i don't think about her as much as i do ojima but i'd say shes like my second favourite tetro character. i think shes just really tragic cause she was healing from her trauma and she was living a good life with a good family and good friends and then she just has it all ripped away after being put in a killing game and deprived of sleep then she snapped and killed someone and executed and and,,,,also shes NOT EVIL 😭😭 im ashamed to say that i did not like sasaki a bit after [right hand] when hiroaki said that she didnt care about yanagi at all. but honestly i feel like shes justified in a situation such as that. i probably wouldn't want to get my hand slashed either (i think it was the hand she passed onto yanagi i cant remember) and she was a very good leader as well--while i don't really like extremely assertive people (if i can describe her that way), the situation definitely called for a leader and she fit that role very well. also i enjoyed [follow up] a lot because it showed a kinder, softer side of her that we hadn't seen up to that point. i think ojima was justified in feeling angry over being (or feeling) pitied after his secret was leaked in confession game, but i feel like sasaki could have been empathising with him to an extent seeing as they both are survivors of s/a.

i also think about her possible relationships with the other characters had she lived past chapter 1. i remember von saying that her and hiroaki would have bonded had ojima not been placed in the killing game (and canon implies that they would have bonded in some way regardless if ojima was there or not.) i can imagine her and hiroaki talking about true crime and mystery books that they like together lol. also i read her secret log on the tumblr and found out that she writes poetry?!?!! i cant remember if it was ever brought up in canon but she writes poetry and that is Cool. i also think about her relationship with ojima a lot. i wouldn't really ship them (i'm not really a shipping person myself) but they have an interesting dynamic--i find it interesting how they were like the leader (sasaki) and co-leader (ojima) at the start, and after confession game that kinda deteriorated, likely due to the others "pitying" ojima after finding out about his trauma. i feel like if sasaki lived they could have bonded more.

sorry if i talked about sasaki way too much haha. i like your analyses on characters a lot and as a result i like to Ask you things. truthfully, it's a bit hard for me to analyse characters without looking at what other people say and i feel like my analyses can come off as a bit stiff sometimes. i love tetro a lot (been here since the prologue but i forgot about it for a few months then came back and found myself getting really invested in it esp after confession game. it's a part of why august 2024 was such a good month for me. i don't normally make myself known in fandom spaces so yeah) and the characters, particularly ojima and sasaki as you just saw really stick with me. i feel like i've been getting better at media analysis though. anyways i hope you liked reading allat. if you did.

Yeah the whole Ojima getting drunk thing is something that particularly stands out to me compared to the rest of the times the other students have been targeted as it feels so weird. Unlike with Hasegawa getting high you can’t really slip Ojima that much alcohol without him noticing so you would have to force it on him somehow. But that also conflicts with the culprits MOA with setting up traps or poisoning people, so why would they risk like attacking Ojima to get him drunk if he could very easily fight back and see who was doing it? Even while dissociating if he was suddenly being force fed alcohol he would’ve fought back and why risk yourself getting exposed like this just to get Ojima drunk, it really leads nowhere.

So the other option is that Ojima got drunk willingly. This also feels kinda odd but I can see it in a way. Ojima’s been struggling a lot with trying not to daydream as he worries he’s going to hurt someone again while zoned out so he could’ve tried to find another coping mechanism. And with all the shit going on with the killing game and perhaps his accidental love confession to Hiroaki he could’ve just reached a breaking point and took a huge sum of alcohol. It would be quite interesting if Ojima actually did this willingly. But how would he have gotten his hands on that stuff? We know that there’s no booze in the school and since he was that drunk for such a long time I doubt it was just mouthwash, and he said he was going to the art room so he was likely intoxicated there which feels weird. And I’m pretty convinced on that wherever this alcohol came from also came from the same place where the substances Hasegawa got high on might’ve came from, so I’d think it was a defence game reward. But then how would’ve Ojima just taken the alcohol like that if he didn’t even accept the reward? And to me just a bit if he’s worried about hurting someone without knowing it I feel like the idea of getting drunk could feel even more risky but idk.

It’s really something that’s kinda confusing either way you think about it but I do feel when he sobers up we’ll hopefully get an explanation if he remembers being attacked or he took it himself. Coercion could also be another reason but I feel like that’d make it way too obvious for the culprit. Either way Ojima’s gonna have a really bad hangover which would fuck him up for a while like with how everyone’s getting sick.

I really don’t think that this whole incident of getting drunk would relate to his trauma. We really have no reason to believe that being drugged was an aspect in his childhood and it definitely seems that this incident only really is important to whatever the fuck is going on in this chapter with everyone getting attacked somehow and Ojima just so happened to get drunk for whatever reason. I don’t feel like we should be jumping to anything potentially trauma related with Ojima whenever something comes up as we know he can still function as a person even if he has a lot of issues, so things seem to not be related to that in this moment.

You do have a point saying Ojima will probably be very upset after sobering up. He definitely was being quite handsy with Hiroaki in cage game definitely implied by the dialogue and how Tamba and Yanagi were weirded out. And since being drunk lowers someone’s inhibitions, especially sexual inhibitions, it makes sense why Ojima was behaving this way when it’s something he’d absolutely never do. And he wasn’t even really being too bad as he did stop when Hiroaki told him to but he still made him very uncomfortable and Ojima would absolutely be mortified by this. And like I mentioned he was really distressed after he unconsciously attacked Hasegawa by grabbing his arm hard which affected him really badly of him doing something violent without being aware of it. And how scared he was that he’d also attack Hiroaki in a similar manner. So with Ojima getting blind drunk (willingly or unwillingly) he’d absolutely be beating himself up so badly that he made Hiroaki uncomfortable by acting overly sexual towards him without remembering.

And what you mentioned about potential trauma correlations with this that I can kinda see. As from what I know people with cptsd have tendency to feel very negatively towards themselves with feelings of shame and guilt. And in some cases people with trauma tend to worry about repeating the actions of their abusers, and we don’t know too much about this with Ojima but this could play into how upset he was when he was violent towards Hasegawa and potentially believing that he’s a bad person at heart. But again this is something we’d need to see more of to see how this incident specifically would affect him. As it seems pretty clear at this point that Ojima has a crush on Hiroaki and would absolutely not want any harm to come to him especially since he’s worried about hurting him.

Ojima’s a really interesting character and I hate how so many people neglect that side of him because he’s a lot more introverted and quiet compared to the rest of the cast. I could just be liking him a lot as I’m a sucker for characters who are very fucked up psychologically and I can do a ton of research into him but it feel off when people call him boring unironically as he’s anything but that. And he’s kinda been in the lesser half of the characters as Tetro has moving on which really sucks especially since he’s made it so far. I still pray everyday that we should get more info in Ojima’s inner world as that would expand his character so much especially since his daydreaming is such a massive part of his life and that would really let people appreciate him more.

And oh Sasaki Sasaki Sasaki Sasaki, gone too early and overhated but I still love you. I haven’t really talked about Sasaki here much but I really do find her such an interesting character and she really played the role she did as a chapter 1 killer very well but I do wish we could’ve seen more of her personally, but that’s always the drawback of dying early. I think what von said specifically iirc was is Sasaki lived longer she would’ve been friends with Hiroaki which definitely makes sense with how in [Breaching the Gap] Hiroaki was talking to Sasaki in the medbay. Like Hiroaki was being a massive asshole in chapter 1 and being very antagonistic towards Sasaki with their conflicting ideas on leadership but even with all their bickering it definitely seems that Sasaki could respect someone who was very strong willed on how to lead the group. And Hiroaki was definitely right when he said that in the end the group only knew Sasaki for a short amount of time and never really got to know about her as a person where she wasn’t in this incredibly messed up environment and you had to be a bit ruthless. As Hiroaki can also attest to that with his own behaviour but with him he actually survived much longer. I wonder how different things would be if Hiroaki was the one who died early instead of Sasaki, and how peoples opinions on them would be switched.

Even with all the selfish and hypocritical actions Sasaki had done it feels kind bad that I can actually quite understand why she did most of the stuff she did. Especially with Yanagi I can see that she was probably creeped out by his obsessive behaviour towards her, of course from what we know about Yanagi he’s not like that at all, but first impressions from a group that just met each other it’d make sense why she passed that punishment onto Yanagi when he offered it. Yes it was quite selfish but I can very much see her thought process and I can’t exactly hate that for that. Honestly Hiroaki has done more stuff I can’t forgive him for than Sasaki in chapter 1 lmao.

I do think that Sasaki was quite a good leader (before the motive at least) as she was really the only person who got the students moving to actually set up a plan to escape and organise all these group meetings while in the later chapters everyone was a lot more disorganised and only got into group meetings from the idea of Sasaki’s leadership. The situation was incredibly dire so it makes sense she was acting quite assertive. The motive really fucked her over and understandably so. She was already putting enough pressure on herself as it so being tormented by the sleep deprivation motive while still trying to be a leader to the group it makes sense why she became a lot more assertive than she initially was and ended up hurting a lot of people. And from all this pressure, and how from the beginning putting herself into this role would inherently isolate herself from the rest of the group while trying to get them closer, she didn’t really have anyone she was close with and this and all the pressure it was only inevitable she’d snap and kill someone from all the stress and that’s why I think she’s such a good chapter 1 killer.

Sasaki to me definitely feels like she takes safety in control and leadership. The secret logs say that after the incident with her teacher she nearly ended up quitting the student council, but decided to stay and that’s where she got the support from her friends who were there to help her. The incident would’ve probably made her feel helpless and out of control so perhaps she would’ve developed the idea of trying to feel in control to feel safe, especially in such a threatening environment as been trapped in a school with 15 other students all forced to kill each other and be tortured.

Sasaki and Ojima’s dynamic was also something I found quite interesting with them being a subverted typical danganronpa protag duo who ended up splitting apart after the motive and went their separate ways, in death or not. And that’s why [Follow Up] feels really interesting to me like you mentioned as it was the only real time Sasaki properly interacted with Ojima after confession game. I do think Sasaki was genuinely trying to help Ojima with talking to him after knowing that they come from a place of similar trauma. But how since Ojima is a much more isolated person he didn’t like how it felt like Sasaki was pitying him and playing therapist with him when Sasaki bought up the idea of talking to people. As that’s what helped with Sasaki but Ojima doesn’t feel comfortable with that sort of stuff and it being treated as an ends all to recovery and with how Sasaki got somewhat annoyed/confused on why he was so insistent on not doing that when it helped for her. And this interaction was especially interesting considering how Sasaki was treating him before confession game being a lot more snappy at him whenever he zoned out and quite bossy and assertive. So Sasaki’s sudden change in treatment after the game makes sense why Ojima was mad about her pitying him.

Honestly I really love getting these super long analyses I’m always up for reading them and adding onto them and it was quite interesting talking about all the newer events in the series like whatever was happening with Ojima getting drunk then taking a trip back to the beginning talking about Sasaki and it really makes me view how much the series had changed and I couldn’t imagine any of the stuff happening back in chapter 1. I also have been here since the prologue after Yanagi’s interview and kept up with it from the beginning of chapter 1 til now and I always quite liked it from the start but same here as well Confession Game is what got me really hooked in the series and it’s still one of my favourite episodes for that. It’s always fun analysing series like this no matter how you feel you may come across diving deep into the stories and personalities of these characters is some that always makes me appreciate the media even more.

Okay lets analyse this one for realsies. Im gonna go through each character in this tweet and go through reasons why i think they either would or would not be crying first, then im gonna put them in order of who survives the roast sesh.... join me on this wonderous journey.

Let's start with Atsumu.... where to even fucking begin. sorry to the Atsumu haters but i truly believe he would not be crying first. First of all he has known Osamu since he was born and while Osamu is the "nice twin" the bar is truly in hell and that motherfucker is mean to one person and one person only and that person is his twin brother Atsumu. This mfer has been conditioned since birth to roast and be roasted. Not only that but this guy was CANONICALLY hated by everyone in his middle school, and his only reaction to that information was "So?" HE DOES NOT CARREEEE. And, I will say, while the other characters shown here are bitchy, they usually target people in petty ways that make fun of their skills (with the exception of Daisho who would probs call Atsumu a single loser but he'd likely just get annoyed by that not cry) and Atsumu knows that his skills are too good for anything they say to hold weight., He has the ego the size of the fucking gym. he's fine.

TSUKISHIMA on the other hand.... dare i say it not the strongest contender ... I dont think FIRST. but this guy is wayyyy more sensitive to criticism than people generally give him credit for. LIKE YES BEFORE YOU JUMP DOWN MY THROAT, he absolutely has the whole "keep booing me it only makes me stronger" thing going on in the Inarizaki game BUT YOU FORGET SO QUICKLY how absolutely insecure this guy is. until yamaguchi kicked his ass into gear in the training camp, he was of the impression that trying to get better at something he enjoyed was fruitless because there was always going to be someone better than him. Someone insightful like Oikawa or Atsumu would def be able to pick up on that insecurity and target him for it. I think his strongest talent is of course provoking people so much that they cant see how much they're affecting him, so he gets a lot of points for pettiness that would keep him from crying first because theres no way he's gonna LOSEEEE to someone like Daisho or Oikawa. BONUS POINTS on his behalf though is he was the only one on the team at the end of season one who WASNT CRYING about their loss. And i think the only one on karasuno who we havent seen cry (as far as i can remember).

Now listen.... fanon Oikawa is for sure crying first because for some bizzare reason people characterise him as a pushover twink. Canon Oikawa told USHIJIMA to remember his worthless pride so he could crush him in the future. like... he's kind of taking names a little. i'll allow him a small slay for his efforts of being a bitch to Ushijima. Oikawa is SMARTTTT and has a lot of emotional intelligence, so can for sure target people's insecurities with pinpoint accuracy. He doesnt get SUPER easily riled up when he's "in the zone" and only lashes out when he's backed into a corner. he hangs out with what is probably a team of people scientifically designed in a lab to HUMBLE HIM DAILY, so he has built up somewhat immunity to being insulted and targeted for bully behaviour. LOSES TREMENDOUS AMOUNTS OF POINTS for being kind of a sore loser and someone who FOR SURE cries when angry or frustrated.

Daisho.... why is he even here (sorry to those who love him). Listen... this guy is petty, and he lowkey cheats, and he takes immense joy in riling people up for shits and gigs... BUT WHYYY IS HE HERE LMAOOOO. to be honest, i dont think he would cry first purely for the fact that he doesnt know these other guys well enough to really gaf about what theyre saying to him. on the other hand, that makes him kind of an easy target because he's so irrelevant to these other guys lives that they could probably make him feel like shit for that reason only. he gets bonus points for being the only one in a canonical relationship (oikawas girlfriend we never meet that he broke up with doesnt count, in fact it loses him points).

WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID. the final order i think is, Oikawa goes out crying first, not because he's upset but because he got sooo fucking mad at Atsumu's unbothered behaviour he had to leave and he was angry crying while doing it. Daisho is next because Tsukishima said some shit like "bro who even are you lmaooo irrelevant ass" and he remembered he sucks at volleyball and got upset, he's okay tho bc his gf is there to comfort him. Atsumu cries next but not because of anything Tsukishima says, he just gets so fucking bored of Tsukishima not giving him interesting reactions to his jabs that he starts doing weird shit like standing on his head and he ends up hurting himself and crying because he is a big baby. Tsukishima is the last one standing .

That is of course assuming that Oikawa doesnt kill them all first with his Super Triple Homo Spin Serve that killed all of Karasuno. People forget so quickly that he is the most diabolical anime villain of all time...

I love picking flowers in the Glade.

when they grew at least it was fun and distracting from all of my other problems. but of course only in my free time. I would hate to be called a freeloader.

so I did really anything. I helped in the kitchen, the aid and everything but the builders and slicers. It reminds me too much of getting hurt and I can't handle pain.

so of course in my free time here I was. in the grass picking the pretty colors of the flowers and slipping them into the opposite hand.

no one batted an eye since this was a frequent occurance. this is also probably because I have a bit of an accent and they don't bother to talk to me.

I mean yeah I talk to Newt and Thomas and stuff but they don't mind it. and their patient when I cant pronounce or remember a word correctly.

while walking around the Glade looking for stuff to keep me busy I saw y/n in the grass picking flowers like usual. I smiled and stared at her in her own world. not paying attention to these walls around her. like she was actually free for once.

after I snapped out of my thoughts I went up to her and tapped her on the shoulder when I reached her.

she flinched a little and stumbled forward before looking back and realizing it was me. "oh hello tho-mas" she said with a light smile and flush on her cheeks.

"hello y/n what are you doing?" I asked already knowing but still asking to start conversation. "nothing just picking the flowers!" she said with a brighter smile at the mention of the colorful flowers in her hand.

"we can teach each other! " I say trying my best to convince her. "alright I guess I can try and teach a little bit." she said looking away and thinking of what she could teach.

so far everything had been fairly easy and he'd gotten the hang of it well! I thought it would be harder with the little language barrier already going on but it's going nice.

it's also gotten me closer to Thomas and I've got to know him better. all the stuff that he remembers I know. and all the things I remember he knows.

since tritons live at the bottom of the ocean, they would have eyes that are far more sensitive to light to allow them to see better since little light gets all the way down there. gillion was Immediately blinded by the sun when he surfaced and still gets headaches from how bright it is in the oversea, but they've gotten better the longer he's been up there. tritons are built to adapt to all kinds of conditions, so his eyes have slowly been getting a darker bluish-purple the longer he spends above the ocean; they were originally more of a light blue-grey.

in tandem with the last one, chip thinks hes either going crazy or a bad friend because he Swears gill's eyecolor is different than last week but how could that be possible, thats not just something he can do, right? why would he be able to do that???

if gillion gets knocked onto his back without warning he does that thing that sharks do where they get paralyzed for a bit when they get flipped upside down. its scary because he can see everything but cant do anything. he also definitely forgot to tell chip and jay about this fact and scared the Shit out of them the first time it happened around them.

gillion can also change his sex like some fish can. its the reason he can lay eggs. i think this makes it safe to say genderfluid/nonbinary/generally trans gillion tidestrider is highly possible and even probable in this headcanon. what im saying is t4t fish n chips.

hour later. jeff wakes up.

sunday, august 21: liu gets released.

jeff's face turned white, so it's safe to assume they were third degree burns, which is what i'm rolling with. this is also why he's bald but like realistically he'd have way less hair than i gave him. in patches !!!!

stitches usually heal in two weeks, and third degree burns typically take over 3 weeks, but for jeff's sake since we need to bump it up to a whole year to get the timeline right. one day per percent of burn, with pretty much his whole body burnt the heck up, means its safe to say it's over a month he was in that hospital. acid burns also take months to heal. they probably grafted it, but since jeff's face was white, i'm assuming they didn't

jeff leaves the hospital after his bandages are taken off, so i'm saying it took like. hot minute idk. has to be september i guess because oooo i cant remember what happened in september Haha !!!!!!! but like. eheheuehjdauhgbfbg.

liu didn't really have anybody growing up (except for. yknow. The mental illness) until jeff was born. liu devoted everything he had into that . very overprotective to the point its kind of suffocating, especially with jeffs mom practically breathing down jeffs neck to make sure hes the perfect golden child or whatever, when she basically gave up on liu. hesitant to get into details for fear of being wrong but this is also where the DID comes from (yknow, abuse and neglect)

liu kept jeff out of trouble for the most part but jeff continued to want more and more attention so he dabbled in a Little crime… mostly petty theft, graffiti etcetera. he was fairly smart and he didnt like covering his tracks because he wanted to get caught, he wanted the attention that would come from it and more importantly wanted to fuck his mom over since she wanted her perrrrfect little family or whatever, at the expense of, yknow, being a decent mom. he went to church every sunday and graffiti'd and robbed n stuff on the side. naturally liu took the brunt for all of it :broken_heart:

despite the difference between jeff and other people (see: npd n whatever else) he had more friends than liu had. because liu had literally nobody. and liu was like yknow what this is fine as long as we're cool. and liu and jeff were extremely close :]

when they moved jeff met jane and liu was kind of controlling over that too in that "hey here's what you can say to him etc etc"

jeff got freaky obsessed with jane. like he didnt have that sort of connection with anyone else before her (not romantic, he just doesnt understand friendship :broken_heart:) and its like. oh hey. this person was nice to me. well i guess we're best friends and she can never leave me now. this is the only person who's ever been on his level, and worthy of talking to him.

so he killed her family and friends naturally :heart: as a means of being like. hey, you dont need anybody else youre just like meeee we're bffs forever now yippeee yippee yahoo. despite her being the only one really on his level she wasnt quite there yet and he wanted . yknow. to actually be on the same level. maybe he wouldn't have done this but his thinking was kinda crazy impaired because of the whole brain damage but he really did wanna be friends with her. and she wanted to be friends with him (mostly for her image, since she was kinda in the mean girlsey group with dani marcy and erica. her dad was a cop. she was kinda the popular kid, despite feeling like she blended into the background a lot.)

so when his mom threatened to just get rid of him jeff lashed out and killed both her and his dad :p and liu by just like. well what if he wants to kill me too yadda yadda jeff is Extremely paranoid but he didnt want to kill him because i mean thats his brother. after he ditched everything smile dog swooped in and was like heeyyy you kill people right can u sacrifice stuff to me and jeff was like yeah sure i guess man, which was how he got roped into the zalgo vs slender stuff. like jeff had the chance to go back up until the point he met smile dog

cuz then it shifted from a "ohh god i just killed my family my life is over oh god oh god" to HEYY THIS IS KINDA NICE ACTUALLY

because he no longer had anything holding him back (aside from smile dog. but he didnt know that)

"Yunho." You whisper as you tap his chest.

"That's me." He says deeply, huskily; it makes you giggle to yourself a bit. 

"Wake up." You pout as his eyes slowly flutter open.

"Time is it?"

"Around 5AM."

"Goooood lord." He shuts his eyes again and pulls you closer. "Absolutely not."

"Yunho." You whine. "Let's go watch the sunrise."

"Y/N, you are very cute and I would do anything to make you happy." He says groggily. "But, it's only been about 3 hours since we fell asleep. Don't you wanna get more sleep?"

"I've tried sleeping more but I can't."

"You really wanna watch the sunrise?" 

"Yes." He opens and eye to peek down at you— indeed, you are very, very awake. He can't help but chuckle a bit because you're giving him that cute smile while tucked underneath his arm.

"Okay then."

"Really?"

"Yeah." He stretches a bit and yawns before fully waking himself up. "Just need to get dressed. You don't have any clothes to change into? It's probably freezing outside."

"Gonna need to stop by my apartment before we go."

"Okay then, let's get going." But before you can get up, Yunho gently puts his arm in front of you to prevent you from moving any further and squints his eyes at you, as if he was observing you very closely.

"What?" You ask him, eyes wide and alert.

"Damn, you really are serious about this." You snort and playfully hit him on the arm.

"Please, I've never been able to catch the sunrise." You pout.

"And you wanna do this with me?" He chuckles a bit.

"Of course I do." You give him a small smile and he nods.

"Okay then." You watch as he gets up first to stretch again, walking over to his closet to find you a jacket to throw on for this spontaneous journey you crazily have him agreeing to.

The tiny trek back to your apartment wasn't too bad, being that Yunho's jacket had added a protective layer and shielded you from getting too cold. You could see your breath in the morning, crisp hair; the sky still dark and patiently waiting for the sun to rise. You quietly step into your apartment, dashing into your room to grab a change of clothes and to wash up a bit better before heading out. Yunho sits on your couch and waits, scrolling through his phone to find random screenshots Mingi had sent him from the party last night.

mingi: dude last night was wild

mingi: did you end up leaving with y/n? i cant remember.. is she okay?

yunho: yeah, she's good.

mingi: did you guys hook up? how was it? 😏

Yunho furrows his brows and chuckles a bit, responding to Mingi quickly to get his nose out of his business— because he knows this is going to be relayed to Seonghwa. Not that he cares, but he'd like to keep Seonghwa guessing a bit more. 

yunho: we just chilled, relax. lol

mingi: i have to tell you about last night

mingi: but are you fr? you guys didn't hook up?

Yunho's eyes shift to the hallway when he hears a door creak open, a wild Soobin popping out of the frame.

"Oh." Soobin sleepily walks out with rough bedhead, eyes barely open when he heads to the kitchen to grab water. "Yunho, hey." He says sleepily with a wave. 

"Hey." Yunho says as he watches him pop open a water bottle and take a few swigs. 

"Feel like shit." He mumbles before pointing towards the bathroom. "Y/N in there?" Yunho nods. At that moment, you quietly slip out, surprised to see Soobin up and walking.

"The heck?" You giggle seeing his current state and playfully ruffle his hair.

"Shut up. Where are you going?"

"To watch the sunrise."

"That's crazy. You let her talk you into this?" Soobin looks at Yunho, and Yunho gives him a simple, pursed smile in return. "Goodluck. I'm going back to bed." He mumbles before lazily waving at you and Yunho, slipping himself back his shared room with Seungmin. You shift your attention back to Yunho, slowly walking towards him in your newly changed outfit. He thinks you're the cutest— dressed in your leggings, those legwarmers, uggs.

That oversized, olive-colored jacket.

The thick scarf wrapped around your neck.

Your cream beanie.

"Speak now or forever hold your peace." You mutter and Yunho laughs, standing on his two feet.

"Come on. We gotta get there to catch the sunrise in time."

"Get where?" You lock up the front door before following Yunho to his car. 

"I think I know the perfect place to catch the sunrise." He stands near the opened passenger door, patiently waiting for you to get inside. You giggle to yourself before hopping in; settling into the seat just as Yunho sits in the driver's seat and immediately turns on the heat. 

"Sorry."

"For?" Yunho raises his brow.

"Dragging you out of bed." He chuckles.

"I mean, truthfully, I can feel myself dying by the minute." You playfully smack him on the bicep, making him laugh a bit louder this time.

"Yunho, don't play. I feel bad. Let's just—"

"I'm kidding, Y/N. I meant it when I said I'd do anything to make you happy." 

"But, I want you to be happy, too."

"I am." He gives you a small smile before caressing your chin. "Promise."

"Okay, Jeong Yunho. I'm taking that to heart." He chuckles.

It isn't too long before Yunho's pulling into a lot of a nearby hiking trail. He reassures you that there's a shorter path that'll take you up the hill, where there is a bench you can sit to enjoy the view and catch the sunrise. You let him take the lead to guide you on the right path, but he stops when he finds the coffee cart nearby. The coffee cart sits near the small welcome center, lights on the overhead illuminating the cart brightly during this dark morning.

"Want hot chocolate? Coffee?"

"Ou, hot chocolate sounds bomb."

"It does. I'll grab us some." He jogs over to the cart, smiling at the middle-aged man who is patiently waiting for time to pass, for more customers to arrive. He's quick to fix the two cups of hot chocolate, Yunho walking back over within the next 5 minutes. "Here. Drink up while it's warm."

"Thank you, Yunho." He smiles, walking alongside you— keeping a bit of a lead to guide you and show you the way. "I don't think I even knew about this place."

"Hm. It's a hidden gem, really. Everyone usually goes to the busier hiking trail nearby."

"Do you come here often?"

"Nope." Yunho chuckles. "But, my aunt took me and my mom here when they visited awhile ago."

"Sweet. I love how you're close to them. I hope I get to meet them one day." You say without really thinking about how it sounds, or how it comes off. When you do realize, you shoot Yunho a look and apologize for having assumed where you two stood. "Oh, I mean, you know. If they happen to be on campus again and what not—" Yunho laughs.

"You'll get to meet them outside of campus. Don't worry." You shyly blush and break eye contact, looking out at the path ahead. It's actually not that far of a walk, seeing that the bench Yunho had mentioned was only a few feet up ahead. It's perched on the side of the hill that overlooks the other side of town, with the trail continuing on past it. Both you and Yunho take your seats, sitting close enough to feed off of each other's body heat.

It's comforting.

You're perfectly content sitting next to Yunho, watching the sun slowly begin to rise.

"There's the sun." Yunho lets out a breath before sipping on his coffee. "We made it in time."

"Yay!" You look up at him again. "Can't believe we're catching the sunrise. You really are the best."

"Just want you to be happy because you deserve it, all of it." Yunho says, firmly believing in his own statement. He's not that great with affection and words, but you absolutely deserved way better than Park Seonghwa.

He couldn't even reach the bare minimum.

"You're too good to me."

"I'm being honest." You sip on your hot chocolate in peace, occasionally tracing the lid with your finger. It's quiet as the rest of the sun begins to slowly show itself more and more past the horizon. Eventually, Yunho is the first to break that silence and ask: "Can I ask you something? You don't have to respond either if you don't want to."

"Of course."

"Has Seonghwa tried reaching out to you?" You shake your head.

"Absolutely not. And he shouldn't."

"Hm." He hums. "So, you don't see yourself going back to him?"

"No, Yunho. Why would I put myself through that again, right?"

"Hwa, wait." Seonghwa pauses in his steps just as he's about to make his way to the car. He cocks a brow up, watching as you take a picture of the sunset.

"What're you doing?"

"Isn't it pretty?"

"I guess? It's like any other sunset." He shrugs. You continue to snap a few pictures, making the impatience grow in Seonghwa a bit. He huffs, shifting his weight from one foot to another before continuing off to the car. "Y/N, come on? I just wanna get home." 

"I'm just taking one more picture."

"The food you asked for is gonna get cold." You roll your eyes and waddle over to the passenger side, sliding into the seat before strapping your seatbelt on. It's a quiet drive for the most part, Seonghwa already annoyed with the fact that you asked him to stop by for some food post-practice. You don't really care much, though. Overall, you had a good day with your friends and you weren't gonna let him ruin it entirely.

"Seonghwa."

"Hm?" He hums, eyes still glued to the road ahead.

"We should catch the sunrise one day." He snorts.

"For what? What's up with you and the sun?"

"I just like it. It's pretty."

"Baby, I can barely get my ass up for class. You're up earlier than me. You should do it."

"I want to do it with you, though." He laughs and it kinda hits you right in the feels, hits you right in the pit of your stomach. 

You try, and you try, and it goes nowhere.

You don't understand why you do this to yourself.

"You don't have to do everything with me, Y/N. Don't wait for me. You should do it if you wanna."

"Yeah." Is all you respond with, nibbling on your bottom lip hearing yet another rejection from Seonghwa.

"I mean, you had your good days and bad days with him, too."

"I know. He's just in the past now, though. Something I definitely want to move on from and keep him where he belongs in the past. I think he just did more harm than good, and I hated feeling so small and replaceable to him. Like nothing."

"I get you." He says.

"I have no intentions of going back." You give him a tiny, toothless smile in response to his reaction. "Promise."

"Okay. I'll hold onto every word of yours." It's quiet again while the two of you continue to watch. This time, after an or so, it's your turn to break the silence; pondering about the sudden question Yunho asked.

He must be worried, right?

Worried that you'd crawl back to Seonghwa, fall into his games, traps.

You get it. You get Yunho.

Seonghwa is only a mere passing thought at this point.

"Yunho."

"Hm?" He sips on his coffee

"I know I was kinda drunk, but I meant what I said on the phone while I was away."

"What did you say?" He smirks, subtly biting onto the lid of his cup while his eyes are glued onto yours. You giggle and shake your head, taking a sip of your hot chocolate before looking back out at the view.

"Nothing." You tease back.

"Aw, really? Like that?" He gently nudges you with a small chuckle. "I guess you didn't really mean it, then." He shrugs.

"Hey." You whine. "I did mean it." You look at him with a pout and he continues to smirk that smirk of his until you give in. God, he was becoming your weakness. "I meant it when I said I like you, Yunho." His smile grows.

"I meant it when I said I like you, too."

"I'm glad we're on the same page, then." He nods.

"I feel a bit silly explaining this, but last night.." He lets out a breath. "I hope you don't feel like you did anything wrong because you didn't. I just really wanna do things right with you. I meant that, too."

"I know." You look down at his free hand dug into his pocket. You hesitate a bit, but you eventually slip your hand into his pocket and lace your finger with his— a gesture that makes his heart melt and adore you even more. 

The both of you sit there while quietly sipping on your drinks and watching the rest of the sun rise from its slumber. It's still cold, and you can still see your breath in the air. But Yunho is warm next to you; his hand is warm, his company is warm.

"So, am I off the hook with reading your lit reviews?" He teases again, making you laugh.

"No, please. I still need your help for the rest of the semester if it doesn't bother you."

"I'm kidding. It doesn't. I wanna help." You lean into his arm a bit more, trying to recover with his warmth. "Are you cold?"

"A bit."

"Do you wanna head back then? Sun is up." You nod.

"Yeah, I think I'm good. Thank you again for watching the sunrise with me." You look up at him, planting a kiss on his cheek. However, before you could pull back completely, you feel Yunho gently tug on your hand— signaling for you to stay close. 

So, you do.

And Yunho dips forward to give you a sweet, chaste kiss on the lips. You giggle and bite your lip when you catch how red the tip of his ears have become.

"That's better." He chimes in before standing, keeping your hand laced with his in his pocket. "What are you gonna do when we get back, though? Are you gonna hang out with your roommates?" The both of you toss your empty cups into the nearby trash can.

"Maybe, yeah. Take a nap." You chuckle. "What about you?"

"Same since I feel myself crying for sleep now." You laugh. "Do you wanna nap at my place?" He looks at you before clearing his throat. "I mean, totally up to you. I don't mean to be forward but just wanted to put the option out there. B-but, don't feel—"

"I'd love to nap with you." You blush.

"I swear I won't take any more time away from Chaery." 

"She'll be okay." You giggle. But, just as you reach the bottom of the hill, your phone starts to beep from incoming texts.

"You sure about that?" Yunho smirks when he sees you flash your screen his way; Chaery's name popping up a few times.

chaery: shit it is so early but i swear i heard you come in earlier. did you??

chaery: i'm also kinda bleh from the alchy last night. so my bad if not, hehe. i guess you're still with yunho?!

chaery: i'm gna go back to sleep but come back soon. imy. but i hope you're having the time of your life with your man <33 get it girl!!

"She's okay. Promise. She's just wondering where I'm at and if it was me that walked in earlier." You try to text back using your free hand, letting your bestfriend know you'd be at Yunho's for a bit longer.

you: it was me, sorry for waking you, love. i am with yunho! i'll prob head back in a few hours. hehe get some more sleep! 

"Y/N." You tuck your phone back into your pocket and look up at Yunho.

"Yes?"

"Are you sure? About the nap?"

"Yes. Unless you take your invite back." 

"Of course not." Yunho briefly lets go of your hand to open the passenger door. You slide in, watching him jog over and start the car to get the heat going as soon as possible. He takes a moment to get settled before he's driving off, his hand open and resting on the middle console— waiting for you to lock your hand with his again. 

"Hope you don't mind me borrowing your clothes all the time. I still have to wash the stuff I wore to bed." He chuckles.

"It's okay, I don't mind."

"Is Yeosang up already?" Yunho looks at the time on his dash.

"Probably not. There are rare days when he gets up early to gym or go for a run. But I doubt it after last night." 

"Is he dating anyone?" Your curiosity gets the best of you.

"Not that I know of. He hasn't had someone over in awhile."

"But.. he has?"

"You're cute." Yunho laughs. "He has. And to be honest, there are some moments I don't really wanna remember." You snort.

"Wow, was not expecting to hear that. Good for him."

"Yeah, he's a good guy. He deserves to have some fun sometimes. Plus, it's nice that he's away from the computer."

"That's true, too." You yawn, leaning your head near the window. "Okay, now I can't wait for that nap."

"You see?" Yunho laughs, giving your hand a gentle squeeze.

The drive is a quick 20 minutes, with the rest of the ride falling silent besides Yunho humming along to the songs. You completely feel the exhaustion hit you as soon as Yunho pulls into the familiar lot. The both of you drag yourselves back upstairs and into the quiet apartment, padding into Yunho's room to change into another set of his comfy clothes. You opt for one of his longsleeves and joggers, slipping yourself back into the sheets with Yunho following shortly behind. He tucks you under the covers well before pulling you into his arms and letting you tuck your head near the crook of his neck.

"You're so warm." Yunho lets out a small, breathy laugh when he feels you shiver against him, adjusting his position and keeping you close.

"Feel better?" You look up at him and nod.

"Thank you."

"You don't have to thank me." He says softly, pausing in between his responses. "Y/N?"

"Mhm?"

"Can I kiss you again?"

"I'd like that." You giggle, watching as Yunho dips his head down to kiss you. You smile into the kiss when you realize he doesn't want to pull away— instead, chasing after your lips for another, and another;

And another.

Until the kiss deepens, the both of you indulging in each other through every bit, every second. His hand gives your side a gentle squeeze when he feels you bite onto his bottom lip and let out a breath in between kisses. But, even if the kiss feels like it continues to intensify, even if the fireworks grow with every move, every touch; there is no need, no push, to take things further. 

Just taking him in, as he is with you. 

At some point, Yunho slows down and is the first to pull back. His eyes remain on you though, his hand coming up to brush the hair away from your face. He gives you a tiny, toothless smile before pressing a sweet peck to your forehead, down to the tip of your nose;

To the corner of your lips.

"You're so pretty." He sleepily says, making you giggle and snuggle against him. "Let's sleep."

"Okay." You shut your eyes, slowly falling asleep to the sound of Yunho's soft breathing.
