headcanon: d, hunter of the dead.
I’m sure it’s a given but the easiest and quickest way onto Darian’s shit list is to harm his brother. The moment anyone hurts him is the second Darian will not hesitate to drop all of his business - like etiquette to absolutely MAUL them.

Headcanons: Aquila Zodiarts Origins
Aquila Zodiarts, or Shinya Kazama, never became a zodiarts out of some desire for revenge or for power. All he ever wanted was to become important for someone out there, which Kouhei Hayami/Libra Zodiarts had found out about during one of their trips out drinking after school went out.
Hayami offers the man a Zodiarts switch, as a part of a daring plan that he is carrying out behind Gamou’s back to find the suitable hosts for the twelve Apostles. A switch that he first utilized after the first of the Apostles - Cancer Zodiarts - finally appeared in order to aide the Apostle in combat as he was informed by Libra Zodiarts, as the price of the power that he had given him.
Using the Switch allowed Shinya to become the monstrous representation of the constellation of Aquila the golden eagle.

Random Kombat Kids headcanons I have
Takeda was the last to join the Special Forces
Kung Jin had a crush on Kenshi for awhile
Then found out that He’s Takeda’s dad
Jacqui was the one who had the idea to create the team
Sometimes Kung Jin speaks only in Chinese just to fuck with Cassie
Cassie insist on having movie nights
Is mostly horror or chick-flicks
When Cassie first saw Kitana she kinda knew she was fucked
“Cass why aren’t you fighting??” “I-uh-just- PRETTY LADY!”
Yeah Cassie doesn’t do well around people she finds attractive
They all have an inside joke where they just randomly yeah “DOG PILE” and jump on the biggest person in the room
Lets just say Hanzo wasn’t amused
Kuai was though, he actually couldn’t help but laugh because he isn’t use to silly antics like that
Kuai-Liang is basically the honorary group dad
Cassie and Jacqui have been friends since they where kids and caused so much havoc
They’ve glitter-bombed every single teacher they’ve ever had
Johnny and Jaxs found it really funny, Sonya almost killed them every time
They all went to a Panic! At the Disco concert together and nobody can change my mind
They all share shirts, mostly band tees
They bicker like siblings and push each others buttons
Kung Jin is the squish bean of the group
Need a hug? Go to Kung Jin, he doesn’t question, just squish
Takeda is the best to talk to about emotions to, mostly because of you can put it into words, he’ll just read your mind to tell how you feel, with permission of course
Jacqui will beat anyone up for any one she cares for, and I mean anyone, (Once she challenge Sonya to a fist fight because she really upset Cassie) (she did win too)
Cassie can and will take your mind off things and is the best at having a good time, amusement park? Already has 5 tickets to the best one around. Movies? Has tickest to the newest movie you have been wanting to see. Hungry? Already has all the ingredients to your favorite food and three different recipes pulled up.
They will all have your back if shit goes down
They are really just family and welcome anyone into that family (as long as, ya know, you aren’t a horrible person)

Post TDC timeline Headcanons
Again, ask me if you want a certain theme! (Cuddle hc). I’ve been thinking of doing this for a bit so here we go.
So, I won’t beat around the bush, but I honestly don’t think Kat or Mira are going to survive.
*hides as a million aerodynamic projectiles are thrown at me*
Don’t get me wrong, I hope they survive but with Kat being possessed, Mira seemingly on her way to it, and Daphne/Illian giving Arsinoe hell because shit’s going wrong on the island, I wouldn’t put it past Kendare to write one final scene between the three sisters that ends with Arsinoe victorious
and no, I’m not just saying that bc I stan Arsinoe and want her to be happy
I imagine that it would happen on Shannon’s Blackway, Kat and Mira holding half of the dead queens each, ready to kill and just lunging for Arsinoe.
Arsinoe is prepared though and as efficiently as never before seen, she’s cut herself open in all these different places
I imagine face, neck, chest, arms and legs.
And this isn’t one of Madrigals spells, that can be easily found if you just know where to look. This one is a spell of her own making, concocted under late night candlelight in a room Emilia had given her for her to make poisons in
she has fixed Jules and rebinded her mental state to whoever volunteered - which came to a whopping total of herself, Emilia, Mathilde and Billy
Anyway, so she does this spell. She had woven it so intricately that it destroyed the mist instantly but at the cost of Kat, Mira and all the dead queens together
Her sister’s and ancestor’s souls are strong, but not as strong as Illian’s was.
It took a lot out of Arsinoe too. She was weak from both the spell and the blood loss, and getting back into the Rolanth motel they were all staying in across the city without being seen nearly killed her.
She pretty much passed out in the bed she was sharing with Billy as soon as she got back, definitely getting blood on the sheets
After that, she is technically Queen Crowned, but she hates the idea of that, so she basically is like, hm, nah, I’m abdicating, Jules can have the crown
Emilia is proud of Arsinoe and of Jules.
Arsinoe and Billy pack their bags and leave for Centra three weeks after the coronation, both more excited than anything to get off the “Island of crushed hopes” as Arsinoe called it.
When they get there, they use a little bit of the Chatworth money to buy a two story building
The bottom part of it is a deserted shopfront and Arsinoe sees it and just... lightbulb moment.
Six months later, Queen Fashions is open for business, because Arsinoe could sew and by the Goddess, mainland women needed the option for pants and shirts.
It started slow, but before her 19th birthday (nearly 7 months later) she’s considered a highly influential designer and gets to travel around, her stock being sold out everywhere (she sees Mrs. Chatworth just after her birthday but that’s a story for another time.)
Billy, meanwhile, gets a job at the racetrack. He’s too tall to be a jockey, but he knows a thing or two about racehorses and becomes a trainer, which he loves. He’s good at it too and eventually ends up branching out and going into the business of owning horses, which Arsinoe loves after having to leave Braddock behind
It takes Billy nearly 7 years to propose to Arsinoe after they move to Centra.
He’s nervous, okay. He loves her and he wants to be sure she’s sure that she wants the life they planned
She says yes. Very happily. They been acting like a married couple for years so it was the next logical step
They get married in autumn, in a park. Everyone comes over from Fennbirn and Arsinoe is walked down the aisle both by her actual father Phillipe (who I imagine reached out to her in the hope of meeting his daughter) and Grandpa Ellis, who is honoured.
She also gets to see Jules again which is a very emotional thing
Arsinoe ends up pregnant only just after they got married
They weren’t trying, it just happened. Both were overjoyed, even though it made Arsinoe nervous when they found out it was going to be triplets
It ended up being three boys, which was... interesting (again, a story for another time) but they love their children with all their hearts.
Long story short, it was the life they had planned and they were happy
Jules takes over Fennbirn and changes so much.
obviously there was no more triplet girls killing each other anymore which the island was on the fence about but oh well.
under Jules’ rule, Fennbirn flourishes. Because of the mist being taken down, trade routes are stronger, the Mainlands don’t see Fennbirn as crazy and mysterious anymore so they are more than happy to sign more treaties guaranteeing peace.
Jules replaces the Black Council with a more even one, choosing 12 people (2 poisoners, 2 elementals, 2 ungifted etc) and herself to lead Fennbirn.
She has weekly meetings with her citizens who wish something of her and tries to divvy up the needs of the island impartially and fairly.
Every citizen of Fennbirn sings her praises. All of Fennbirn’s cities have banners depicting her in all her glory and no one ever knows about the mental binds. After all, Emilia, as captain of the queens guard, was someone she only saw once every couple of days and Mathilde had gone back to Sunpool to take over her mothers household while the other 2 were no where near close. It was untraceable.
It takes a while for Jules to fall in love, but she does. Not with Emilia.
They tried that. They decided that they worked better as friends.
No, Jules falls in love with a naturalist living in Indrid Down. She works as cobbler’s apprentice in the outskirts of town. One day Jules has to get shoes fitted and so the girls boss comes in and brings her along
They get on like a house on fire and by the end of the day have agreed to go on a date.
They work quickly from there and take every opportunity to see each other. It’s really quite a beautiful relationship.
The people of Indrid know it’s happening and try to watch over this girl so no one knows where the Queen goes late at night.
Their familiars are cute too. This girl had a chocolate brown toy poodle familiar who likes to burrow into the dip of Camden’s shoulders which at first was odd but Cam came to love it.
And so, years down the track, they get married and Fennbirn has it’s first Queen Consort. The celebrations go on for nearly two weeks
They end up naming Fenn as the heir to Fennbirn which means eventually, Fennbirn will have it’s first king.

headcanon: radahn, post shattering.
Leaving out the context as to how he recovered his mind and therefore is no longer a nasty zombie wandering the wilds of Caelid, Radahn is permanently and irreversibly scarred by the Scarlet Rot. He can still fight, of course, but there are markings on his body that showed how devastating it had been for him:
Similar to the markings we saw on Malenia, there are patches of those scars on him too. The biggest one is near his left breast and the base of his neck, where the rot had hit him the hardest, covering part of his upper arm too. Those areas feel very little compared to the untouched skin, if any at all. His right calf and knee too bear those markings, though luckily it was stopped before it could take his leg like it had with Malenia.
But of course, just like the rest of the areas bearing those scars, he feels very little in those areas, if there was even any sensation left.

Here is the largest organ, seemingly unimportant and forgotten in favour of larger meatier cuts of flesh, but it is living and breathing but wholly on the outside. You feel everything so much all the time. You wear everything on the outside, nothing about you is restrained or held back, authentic and truthful, even to a fault, even revealing all the ugly parts you can’t cover. The blows and injuries you take cannot be hidden, so be cautious. Always remember scars do not heal, they can only fade.

headcanons: crucible knights in general
I feel like it’s an appropriate time to address this particular question, since I’m now writing two crucible knights on this blog.
What exactly are those beings? They don’t share a model with the player, but are clearly not of divine origin based on the pieces of lore that we have accumulated, like many of the bosses that we have met in the game. Who are those beings? Why are they here?
Based on their armor descriptions we can tell a few facts about them: “Armor of one of the sixteen ancient knights who served Godfrey.” And that the axe ornamentation was worn by Knight Ordovis and his men, whereas the tree ornamentation adorned the helms of Knight Siluria and her men ( @doehornedknight). They were the precursors of what would become today’s Golden Order, as the Erdtree was born out of the Primordial Crucible, yet eventually they would be seen as “chaotic and deserving of scorn” (gauntlet/leggings).
They are scattered seemingly without thought in the parts of the world, with their leaders Ordovis and Siluria thrown into seemingly forgotten parts that very few should be able to find their way in. Unlike the demigods, they bear no great rune and have no true backstory to them, yet they are much more powerful than regular soldiers with their ability to channel the body parts of dragons and use powerful, holy imbued weapons.
I like to imagine that they are not demigods, but comes very, VERY close to being such. It is not because of their servitude to Godfrey that they earned this status, it’s through them drawing their powers from the Primordial Crucible (Aspects of the Crucible incantations), imbuing them with powers that the later generations no longer understand as it is not a part of the Erdtree, resulting in them being scorned and hated by the general populace as it was deemed impure, a fact that Marika might have exploited to drive them out of public eye, as they were after all, once Godfrey’s elite Praetorian Guard, keeping them around would only spell trouble for her.
In essence, I believe that the Knights are as close as one can be to a demigod. They are once humans, but are hand selected by Godfrey and have been granted a much longer than normal lifespan by the Primordial Crucible atop of their vast array of powers. They are his elite guards, a small Order that numbered exactly sixteen, paladins who embodied a much older, much more powerful form of the Erdtree that many others today fail to understand.

headcanon: general radahn, knight ogha
Radahn and Ogha have been friends ever since they went to magic school together at Sellia. They’re the kind of friends who will spit insults at each other or flirt, because only they are allowed to casually insult each other.
Anyone else trying that might get shot full of arrows.

Headcanons: Bi-Han, umbral cryomancer.
I figure I should at least explain where my interpretation of Bi-Han and his verse originates.
To expand on what I have posted in my bios, Bi-Han isn’t an undead in my default verse for him. He is a former Lin Kuei assassin (now Lin Kuei grandmaster alongside his little brother) who was wrongly blamed for the annihilation of the Shirai Ryu, which he had no part of and was entirely Quan Chi’s doing.
In using a body double to substitute for himself in the hands of Scorpion, Bi-Han discreetly leaves behind the Lin Kuei and subsequently Kuai, Smoke/Tomas, and Cyrax, seeking out whoever was responsible for blaming him for this bullshit that almost got him a major case of the dead with extra burnt parts. Of course, this leads to a whole slew of emotional consequences later for the idiot, but that’s for later.
Eventually, Bi-Han comes upon Quan Chi, who offers to teach him dark magic (to cover his ass and under the assumption that Bi-Han would never question him, since which idiot would arm the one that they almost got murdered?). Under his tutelage, Bi-Han becomes accustomed to wielding shadow based powers that eventually resulted in the creation of Saibot, who originally lingered on the back of his mind.
As a result, my Bi-Han’s powers are a combination of his cryomancer abilities and his powers as Noob Saibot. He cannot summon shadow clones like Noob can, but Saibot is still a formidable force to be reckoned with and absolutely can kick ass. He and Saibot can also double team their target similar to their combo chains in MK11, save for that summoning a single shadow portal drains much of Bi-Han’s energy so that he only uses it sparingly now. Or in other words, he is nowhere near as powerful as Noob, but he’s definitely no slouch and can and will commit murder.
Oh and his face is changed as a result of it, namely being his icy blue eyes and his skin resembling those of a corpse that died of hypothermia. His full appearance beneath his mask (without that cowl and instead uses a hood, as he wears the armor worn by Joe Taslim in the movie) is based on his appearance as headcanoned by @maagspies.

headcanons: crucible knight ordovis, d hunter of the dead and their relationship.
I'm just here to talk about my hc w/Darian's personality and some stuff in regards to Ordovis.
So, Darian in my eyes is a reserved, calm individual but very dedicated to the cause that he basically grew up with. It's never explained in lore but taking inspiration from his gear, I like to imagine that he at one time was conjoined to his twin brother, a sign that others took as the mark of a curse. The Order was the only institution that didn't look at them with disgust, which is why Darian is so loyal to the cause, Rogier thinking that those Who Live in Death could be redeemed leading to the fracturing of their relationship.
In the face of others that he didn't know, he uses a voice that is even and some might even say monotone. Those that know him though would be able to pick up the very well concealed bits of affection underneath that voice, such as Devin, Rogier and of course, now Knight Ordovis himself. It's a sort of thing that he developed to protect himself from others, to appear as business - like as he could possibly make himself, the result of the scorn he and Devin has faced in the past.
Devin is the one that would see the most expressive side of him, being the only one that he confessed his heart and soul to ("Two minds, two bodies, but one soul.") and his brother's closest confidant. Not to say he wasn't expressive with his partners, but Devin will always be the one that knows him the best, first and foremost.
Knight Ordovis' appearance was somewhat of a... surprise, to put it simply.
The new recent revelation that the Crucible Knights eventually came to be hated for what they stood for, despite them being essentially the precursors to the Golden Order's knights has some play into this, might I add. Since that made it in a way that Ordovis actually understood how it felt to be scorned and hated by society despite feeling like - and in truth - they've done nothing wrong, so Darian felt a sort of "kindred spirit" from said Crucible Knight.
I've touched on the subject why Ordovis, despite not actually a part of the Golden Order, still in a way shared in their objectives. In his eyes, those Who Live in Death are a living mockery of the death of Godwyn the Golden, son of his first lord, Godfrey. Godfrey may have been hounded out of the Lands Between, but Ordovis' loyalty to him will always remain, and with how Deathroot is birthed from Godwyn's death, he will always see it as a perversion and a mockery.
Therefore, those beings must be hunted down and exterminated.
Not only that, Knight Ordovis himself draws his powers from the Primordial Crucible of Life, his own power source, his EXISTENCE stands as the living polar opposite of Death. To perverse Life and Death, that is an unforgivable crime.
Going back on the subject of his and Darian's relationship, those factors are combined in to form the magnetism that would bring the two together. Shared objectives and being kindred spirits in scorned by society for fabricated crimes that they did not commit. I like to think that because of this, they noticed that a lot of the times they are on the same wavelength and understanding that simple words cannot describe. Twin rays of gold that met and sparks a flame that would surely set the world ablaze.

headcanons: ordovis
So! Since there’s so little that we know about the Crucible Knights, I decided I’m going to give them the same treatment as I did with Paladin Leeroy eons ago.
Ordovis is one of the canonically established leader of the Crucible Knights, being Godfrey’s second in command. Siluria, the one we fought in Deeproot Depths is the other one, they are equal in authority and share in the leadership of the knights.
The Crucible Knights draw their power from the Crucible of Life, a primordial “stewpot” from which the Erdtree was born. So in a sense, you can say that they predate the Golden Order, which sprouted from the worship of the Erdtree and a much later date. Dragons were also the product of the Crucible, which is how the Knights know how to harness their powers without losing themselves, unlike those that participated in the Dragon Communion at the cathedral. but it doesn’t spare them from having the yellow, draconic eyes:
In other words, the Crucible Knights - Ordovis included - could call upon body parts of dragons in combat because they have their origins in the crucible, a source that they are very familiar with. No consumption of dragon hearts are needed.
Also, fun tidbit that I should bring up again. My version of Ordovis was originally imprisoned in Auriza Hero’s Grave before he one day managed to bust his own ass out of it. He can’t remember why he’s in there, but that’s how he got out.
Man literally got sent to gay baby jail and then got out.
Also, some relationship stuff about his and D/Darian’s relationship. Those two definitely started off being wary of each other, cuz I mean, ol Scalie Man literally just showed up one day like “Hi what fucking century is this”. Of course, nobody has ever seen a Crucible Knight in the flesh for so long, nobody really knows to trust him either. All the way up until they somehow managed to bump into each other in one of the catacombs because Ordovis literally had nothing else to do.
Ordovis has good reason to harbor distaste for those that live in death too, mind you. They are the result of the death of Godwyn the Golden, his lord’s beloved son, perversing death and basically in his eyes, making a mockery of Godwyn. On the top of that, Ordovis and his warriors draw their strength from the Crucible of Life, and such perversion of death stands in direct opposition for what he represented, the living and life in itself. While he does not directly serve the Golden Order, Ordovis’ objectives still matched up with the Order’s.
Two paladins working closely for the same purpose, how could sparks not fly?

Profile: Shinya Kazama / Aquila Zodiarts
Name: Shinya Kazama / Shinya Gamou Height: 5′10″ Affiliation: Horoscopes Homeworld: Earth.
Personality A man of flowering words and a scholarly demeanor, Shinya Kazama comes off as rather strange and even eccentric to some people. Though his awkwardness quickly fades away to a rather cheery personality when around those that he knows, loving debates about deep philosophy of men such as Marcus Aurelius and definitely would not be opposed to a drink with friends. However, despite seemingly satisfied with his current position, Kazama aspires to be someone even more, perhaps not a great man that would be remembered for their achievements, simply someone that would be remembered... someone that meant something for another out there.
As a teacher serving at Amanogawa High School, he takes his job seriously, sometimes even staying up till the wee hours of morning if only to get planning or grading done for his next classes. Whatever personal health issues he has is but a slight obstacle in his path of spreading knowledge that he had learned during his stay in Europe: history is fascinating, and those that do not take knowledge from it risk doing the same.
Ever since becoming a Zodiarts, he saw no problem in balancing both of his lives, as a human and as Aquila. It’s the next step in the human evolution, perhaps not one that is needed, but one that he is honored to be a part of nevertheless. Unlike his lover Mitsuaki Gamou / Sagittarius, he is a outgoing and honorable man, never one for needless violence or using another to achieve the ends. If anything, he despised going to that level, and instead chose to be straightforward with all of his feelings, making it clear when he disliked anyone or if Gamou ever stepped out of line.
His greatest source of pride is his broad expanse of knowledge, in his expertise in both history and the true beauty of the Western Civilization left behind by Greece and Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius: frequently referencing Aurelius’ teachings whenever he speaks up or when he chooses to engage in a debate.
As Aquila Zodiarts:
Height: 7′ Weight: 201kg
As the Herald of the Golden Eagle, Aquila Zodiarts wields the power to command lightning in combat, as well as near complete immunity to all electric based attacks (completely negating the power of Kamen Rider Fourze’s Elek Switch). He is armed with a one - handed saber called Dikaiosyne, through which he could channel his electric powers into either infused slashes or send out literal shockwaves through the air.
Any potential electricity in the air can also be absorbed by Kazama through his golden wings (thus any combat during thunderstorms gives him an edge over his opponents), giving him the ability to release several power - infused slashes at the same time or even use his blade to reflect it right back at the opponent, magnified to completely fry any human that does not wear sufficient protection against it.

Headcanons: of all the Apostles, he dislikes her the MOST (Aquila)
Out of all of the Apostles, Aquila dislikes one of them the most.
Gemini Zodiarts.
He has good reason to, though, the hatred is not unfounded. And it’s a 100% mutual dislike of each other.
Aquila hated, and by that I mean, hated, how creepy Gemini acts around Sagittarius. In his eyes, she was nothing more than a petulant child who happened to be blessed by the Presenters, a brat that needed to be put in her place before she does something irreparably stupid that would endanger their entire operation: there was not even a good reason for her to be attempting to replace Yuki Jojima, either.
But mostly, it’s how she acts around Sagittarius.
Clinging to him like they were lovers, when he was the one that is the true “Bride of the Archer”. Combine that with the fact that she is truly a child? Yeah nope, Aquila hates that with a fervent passion, a dislike that he doesn’t even bother with hiding. Though partly, one could also say that he was very much feeling insecure about his position as the beloved of the Master: he was not one of the twelve Apostles, neither was he blessed by the Presenters like she was.
Plus, with all twelve gathered, what’s he truly worth? He would not be evolving into one of the Apostles. The only path for him now would be to enter his own Last One state, before his human body would be discarded and he would be left eternally locked into his true form.
Gemini knows it too. After all, it wasn’t like he kept his dislike of her down the low.

headcanons: random bits of stuff about Aquila
So, as I’ve mentioned in Aquila’s bio that he works as a English teacher over at Amanogawa High School. He’s actually one of the newer teachers at the school, having arrived around the time that Kisaragi Gentaro had arrived at the school.
Mild mannered and often one of the nicest of the faculty right up there with Sarina Sonoda, there’s a bit of a rumor that she’s either dating him or Kouhei Hayami. Shinya is drinking buddies with her after work, considering how hard it is to manage everything at the school (and with Master Gamou breathing down everyone’s necks to get their shit done, yeah...). Except one day, he ran into the Principal Hayami, who offered to at least buy him a drink to welcome him to his new job.
Fast forwarding to now, who would expect that the nicest (and the nerdiest) teacher would actually be Aquila Zodiarts? Yeah he’s strict with his class, but it’s all something to be expected is it not? Look at the cast that he’s dealing with. Half the time he’s dealing with angry parents, the other time he’s buried under a mountain of work that he’s diligently grading to the best of his abilities.
Also, I do picture that Aquila tries to use his switch very sparingly. The power and the new body that he obtained from it is great, but there is never anything free in the world that would be just given out to him so easily. As a result, he only briefly appeared to aid Cancer Zodiarts, and during the time when Leo and Libra Zodiarts were sent to destroy the altars sealing the hole above the school (his suspicion is later proven correct when Gamou straight up tells him that using it too many times would result in him losing his human form and permanently become a Zodiarts).
As the Herald of the Constellation of Aquila, Aquila Zodiarts has the ability to manipulate lightning (as per the story of Aquila, being the pet eagle of Zeus and carrying his lightning bolts), and fly through the air via summonable wings that extend from the wing - like extensions on his back.
