Cassian laughed at Rose's words as he moved behind the bar, grabbing two beers out of the cooler. He paused for a moment before grabbing a third. Sophie should be there any minute after all...

He had been planning this meeting for longer than he cared to admit. Though he had been acquainted with Rose for some time now and considered her something of a friend, he had realized that she and Sophie had never met yet. Rose was absolutely his sister's type - and if he could just talk the stubborn alpha into actually taking Rose on a date, he was certain they would make a cute couple.

Cas worried about his sister. He wanted her to be happy, to find someone to love just like he had. But Sophie seemed dead set on only settling for whatever hookup she could get, and it broke his heart. So, he was just going to have to play matchmaker himself.

"I'm sorry to tell you, Rose, but I'm not the best person to ask that question to - I only have eyes for my wife. That's more my sister's department. Ah, there she is now," Cas grinned as he turned around to see Sophie walking over. He passed an opened beer to Rose before sliding one across the bar to Soph. She caught it with a grin, holding it up in salute before taking a drink.

"Whatever my department is, I'm sure I'm better at it than you, brother mine. What are we talking about, though?" She leaned against the bar as he gaze fell on Rose, roaming over her appreciatively. She blinked before smiling beguilingly at her. "Hello there, who might you be?"

"Rose here was asking... well, I'll let her repeat that question." Cas chuckled, taking a swig of his beer.

Rosa needed a moment of respite from the crowd, unused to being around so many people at an event in which she was meant to act immpeccably or be judged for the rest of the season; thankfully her son was more than happy to watch over Lydia so that she could take breaks. But when in the middle of taking her break, she saw the youngest Bridgerton, the diamond, being ambushed by a man who cut her way and demanded another dance. Rosa was up and walking to them before he was even done telling the girl that anyone could see them there, unchaperoned, as if he hadn't specifically followed her there of his own accord. "The lady is chaperoned, as I am right here and she was coming to see me," Rosa didn't slow down, and despite her height she still managed to make him back off, "And my fist will chaperon your face back into the hall, if you don't step away from this girl this very moment." "You can't-" "Do you think wise to speak again, after what you have tried to do? Perhaps we should ask the Viscount what I can or cannot do. I will not repeat myself, sir." That at least shut him up, and Rosa barely resisted the urge to punch the horrid man anyway, for trying to entrap her. Her hand still balled into a fist, she turned to the girl. "Are you alright, miss Hyacinth?"
