Overloading my brain by trying to imagine how Super Robot Wars with all the mecha media I've seen would work
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (In crossovers, the first step is always the most ordinary one.)
Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch From Mercury (Two series in and we already have two different definitions of the word "Gundam", off to a great start. At least these definitions are fairly compatible.)
MSG: Universal Century circa Zeta Gundam (More like universal attendance amirite? Also, we've got a third definition of "Gundam" that's not compatible with the definitions from the AU series; nobody in their right mind would name their new brand of mechas after ones that kill their pilots.)
Code Geass (Not sure how to reconcile both the Federation and Britannia being around, but SRW has done it before.)
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Humans don't even rule the Earth in this one.)
Robotech (Yo dawg, I heard you like mecha crossovers, so I put a crossover pretending to be a generational epic in your crossover so you could crossover while you crossover.)
Last Hope (If the generic name means you have no clue what I'm talking about, it's a Netflix exclusive anime. The only series here in which giant non-sapient monsters exist.)
Dragon Pilot (Nothing in common with the rest of these series tonally, and the real-world Japan setting directly contradicts Code Geass.)
Daemon ex Machina (So the moon colonies from UC are just fucked, right?)
Pacific Rim (Okay, maybe not the only series with giant monsters.)
Ace Combat (Belka and the aggressor squadrons from 5 would make good overarching plot, and you can justify the series' traditional missiles you can dodge with one turn by saying that's the best you can do with Ahab reactors and Minovsky particles in play.)
From Yu-Gi-Oh, Sky Striker lore, Melffys piloting Divine Arsenal AA-Zeus, and Kaiba in defictionalized versions of his XYZ machine monsters and Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon (Here exactly because someone online proposed this as a way to put Yu-Gi-Oh in SRW and I liked their answer.)
And, of course, any number of pilot-a-ship bullet hells depending how loose I feel like playing it. The first boss of Dondonpachi Resurrection can transform between a humanoid mode and an airplane mode just like the Zeta Gundam.

top 5 persona games
obligatory take list w a grain of salt bc idk anyth abt p1 and 2, im playing 3 fes, and my only exposure to p4g and p5 vanilla has been through streams
1. p4g. it means so much to me. i love the feeling of inaba so much, im a sucker for small town stories. yu is my fav protag solely bc of the heavy lifting done by the anime. it has adachi in it. everything about it is so meticulously laid out from character backstories to personas to mythos. i even dont mind teddie
2. p3 fes. yeah yeah is good. ive only gotten to july when ken joins, but i rly do enjoy the dungeon crawling. i love when i havent saved in an hour and die 🙃 bur srsly i do genuinely enjoy tartarus grinding?? yeah idk. i love the overall msg of the game and it kinda runs parallel to that of p4's so ofc theyre honestly grouped together in my head
3. p5s. OK I KNOW it is kind of a hot take to put STRIKERS over royal but as i said before i havent seen any content about royal other than story spoilers so i can do this. strikers is like The spin-off. it takes the time to focus on charas who got shafted in the main story + develops 2 very good new charas. obv i like zenkichi ok but yeah i tgink the game is really solid and cute so i like it:) and im sorry but i adore the music of strikers SO much more than i do vanillas ost. COUNTERSTRIKE IS SO GOOD?
4. p4au. yeah idk idc abt fighting games but the lore is so :) i love that they actually decided to outline the lives of the p3 cast post-p3. and i desperately Desperately want them to commit with p4 as well. im SO mad p5a never became a thing. but yeah just seeing p3 cast + "woah a white guy!" + everything about adachi (again sorry) + the narukami cover art (sorry as well)
5. p5 vanilla. yeah p5 is still Good, but after p3 and p4 where everything about every character is so inherently connected to the themes of the game, p5 does fall short for me. there are just so many little discrepancies that are like :// this can be improved you know!! so yeah, while i do enjoy the phantom thieves and the overall story of p5, all my nitpicks add up.
honorable mention to p4d bc the dancing game did not have to go that hard! it did NOT have to have an actual story focused on rise (its really evident that the p4 team's fav member is rise huh) nor deliver so flawlessly on the ending. i genuinely GENUINELY watch the reach out to the truth music video every now and then for fun!! and when im stressed i literally watch narukami's dance! dance. also simply they didnt havebto go that hard for dance! its actually my fav persona song. other honorable mention is p3d i know it is a soulless cash grab like p5d but unlike p5d it actually takes the time to put as much storytelling into its broader range of songs. every makoto fever time ☹️

“This is a bad show and yet....” The UFC Blachowicz vs Anderson Fight Night  Preview
Joey
February 10th, 2020
A week after chaos and controversy in Texas, we stay in the Southwest as the UFC heads to Rio Rancho, New Mexico for a little bit of a weird ass fight card. The UFC has a tendency to just put together shows in weird locations to fill their schedule and a show from the Santa Ana Star Center in New Mexico sort of just fits that mold with a very blegh card. There's good fights on here but for some reason, most of them lurk on the prelims while the main card is pretty much a big ball of fluff and weird Jackson-Wink style matchups. Corey Anderson vs Jan Blachowicz is a fine enough headliner I GUESS while Diego Sanchez vs Michel Perreira is one of those fights you have a morbid curiosity for live but eventually will turn to disgust once it happens. Names like Jim Miller, Scott Holtzman, Ray Borg and John Dodson lurk on the prelims if you're willing to dig around for them and any card with Tim Means on it probably warrants viewing. IF ANYTHING it feels like this card is really a more painful reminder of the downfall of Jackson-Wink and how most of the name fighters they've relied upon have either left, retired or fallen off the map completely. It's a dying gym and it's sort of brutal to see it go this route even if you found Greg Jackson and Mike WInklejohn to come off as perhaps arrogant and condescending at their peak. Either way, there's live fights and I'll be here so it's my duty to settle in, strap up and get ready to guide us through what is a very weird helter skelter-y fight night from New Mexico.
2020 Stat-O-Matic:
Debuting Fighters (3-2): Daniel Rodriguez, Brok Weaver Main Event Exemption:
Short Notice Fighters (2-2): DeQuan Townsend, Daniel Rodriguez Main Event Exemption:
Second Fight (2-2): Rodrigo Vargas Main Event Exemption: Vs Debutantes: Rodrigo Vargas
Cage Corrosion (Fighters who have not fought within a year of the date of the fight) (5-0):  Yancy Medeiros Main Event Exemption (1-0):
Undefeated Fighters (2-4):   Main Event Exemption (0-1):
Fighters with at least four fights in the UFC with 0 wins over competition still in the organization (2-1): Mark De La Rosa, Tim Means Main Event Exemption:
Weight Class Jumpers (Fighters competing outside of the weight class of their last fight even if they’re returning BACK to their “normal weight class”) (1-3): Ray Borg, Dequan Townsend Main Event Exemption ():
Twelve Precarious Ponderings
1- So does this main event not matter anymore? Regardless of how you might've felt about Corey Anderson and his streaking success or Jan Blachowicz's second half career resurgence, the fact of the matter was that IF Jones beat Reyes convincingly like most expected then Jones vs the winner of this fight felt like a lock for July or August. Consider that the UFC originally brought up the idea of Jones vs Jan in MSG to both camps but Jon passed on it or requested a new deal for it or whatever the case. Corey Anderson has some semblance of heat to him these days after smelting Johnny Walker and trying to develop or rabble up some sort of counter UFC fanbase. This WAS a #1 contender fight in theory but now? Is anybody going to want to see any fight at 205 lbs BESIDES Jones vs Reyes 2? I'm betting that's going to be a hard no. Now it is worth remembering that Jones once turned down Gus 2 (which the UFC thought would be a 1 million buy PPV) so that Glover Teix could get a title shot. This is also the UFC's rise of the champions era where champions can dictate their opponents. That said I bet it's going to be borderline riot territory if the UFC goes with the winner of this fight over a Reyes rematch.
2- The first fight featured a ton of wrasslin' as Jan couldn't stop Corey Anderson takedowns to save his life. The problem repeated itself vs Pat Cummins as well. This has been LESS of a problem for Jan since hitting this insane run he's been on since the Cummins' fight but Anderson hasn't gotten worse as a wrestler and if anything he's rounded out some of the holes in his game as a striker. Feels like a toughie for Jan to win BUT if Jan can take solace in anything, it's that Anderson has been KO'd twice since that fight and got his head bounced off the turf by Shogun Rua in a contested split decision loss. Jan also has rediscovered his kicking game which has been the catalyst for this renaissance run. There's some intrigue here but in all likelihood, this is Bader vs top 10 LHW territory where he can outgrapple dudes en route to the eventual fight with a big hitter who sleeps him.
3- Who WOULD win in a fight between Ryan Bader vs Corey Anderson?
4- Is it fair to just want Diego vs Michel to happen just so you can say you saw it happen?
5- At the risk of opening myself to critique and sassafrass, the main card fight I'm MOST looking forward to is Mara Romero vs Montana de la Rosa. I still think there's plenty of upside for Montana de la Rosa as she's very young but also pretty experienced with a 3-1 UFC record and a sole loss to Andrea Lee who is pretty good. She's got some discomfort on her feet that makes me worried about the ceiling but her grappling, positional awareness and fluidity is well worth seeing if it develops. For Mara Romero, I'm just sort of not sure what she is as a fighter. She debuted, upset the Titan FC bantamweight champ in her UFC debut, lost a close fight to Katlyn Chookagian, upset an undefeated Brazilian prospect in Brazil and then got swamped by Lauren Murphy in her next fight. Like Montana de la Rosa, there's a clear lack of comfort on the feet for extended periods of time but when the fight hits the mat, she's a lot of fun to watch usually. Kinda digging this fight on paper.
6- Jim Miller vs Scott Holtzman is weird because this is a fight that both guys tend to find a way to lose. Miller rolls into this one on a modest two fight winning streak which means he's one more kinda good mid tier guy away from getting thrust into a violence fight vs some sort of stylistic nightmare. Holtzman is still riding his "look great one fight, shit the next" rollercoaster as he comes into this one off violent smelting of Dong Hyung Ma after a loss to Nik Lentz after violently finishing Alan Patrick. So much of Holtzman's game seems to be broken down by whether or not he is "in" the fight after the first round since he seems incapable of grinding out those close brutal fights, especially when he doesn't have a pronounced strength advantage. Chances are this one ends poorly for Miller (who was rocked by Clay Guida twice in a minute) but this is Jim Miller and we are obligated to root for a dude who fought for years with lyme disease and had no idea.
7- Lando Vannata vs Yancy Medeiros in a battle of guys who can best be described as violent enhancement talent should be fun. It's worth remembering that fighters who have taken a year or more off and come back are at a ROUSING 5-0 in the early stages of 2020 and Medeiros hasn't fought since Jan of last year.
8- If Ray Borg makes weight, he's got a REALLY winnable fight against Rogerio Bontorin who is super powerful and hits hard but doesn't bring much else to the dance. How quickly can Borg ascend up the ranks with a win?
9- A bit ago,  @theanticool  and I discussed the plight of Jon Dodson; a super athlete who probably should've rounded out his game more en route to what is now the end of his athletic peak and the start of what would be the crafty veteran portion of his career except I don't think he's particularly crafty. Powerful? For sure. Still plenty fast? Yep. Lacking a change up to his game? Feels pretty evident. Dodson has a chance to pretty much stem the tide of irrelevancy against Nate Wood in another one of those low key great bantamweight fights. Wood was/is a bit of a wild man all action fighter but since coming into the UFC, he's settled down a bit and really refined his game to the tune of a 3-0 record all by stoppage. He's less frenetic, smarter and looks like a dude benefitting from UFC paychecks where he can probably train more/better. Wood vs Dodson should be awesome and especially in the first round where I can see Wood having trouble if Dodson comes out hot early.
10- I'm still not off the Macy Chiasson bandwagon but this fight with Nicco Montano is going to be pretty damn important for her. Nicco got off to a really strong start in her bantamweight debut vs Julianna Pena before she tired out or got sucked into prolonged grappling exchanges or whatever happened. I still think her weight class is down 10 lbs but she's got the stuff to really challenge Chiasson. This feels like a case of two women living in two opposite weight classes and having to meet in the middle to be honest.
11- Speaking of Nicco, she went from the first ever women's flyweight champion to the follow up fight to the curtain jerker. That's tough.
12- I've been a pretty damn bad judge of talent off of the Contender's Series but I really think that Brok Weaver is going to be a big time bust.

Pendapat Valverde Mengenai Posisi Griezmann?
 Penampilan Griezmann?
Kedatangan Griezmann membuat tanda tanya sejak awal.

Minnesota United FC v. LA Galaxy (5 p.m.ET);
MLSsoccer.com to host pre- and postgame coverage on “MLS Matchday Central” in penultimate week
NEW YORK (October 16, 2018) – As teams vie for the remaining spots and seeding in the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs, Major League Soccer today announced the broadcast lineup for Sunday’s doubleheader on ESPN and ESPN Deportes. The penultimate week of the 2018 MLS regular season consists of 22 teams in action on Sunday, October 2,1 with all five Eastern Conference matchups beginning at 3 p.m. ET and all six Western Conference matchups beginning 5 p.m. ET.  Flex broadcast scheduling during the final two weeks of the regular season allows national broadcast partners to select the most compelling matches while providing live look-ins to pivotal moments throughout the league.
At 3pm ET, ESPN and ESPN Deportes will showcase Atlanta United hosting the Chicago Fire in front of more than 70,000 fans at Mercedes Benz Stadium. With a win, Atlanta United, including marquee striker Josef Martinez, could earn not only the top seed in the East and home field advantage headed into the postseason, but also the coveted Supporters’ Shield – awarded by the fans to team with the best regular season record – and a 2019 Concacaf Champions League berth.
At 5 p.m. ET, the Western Conference spotlight match is a must-win for global icon Zlatan Ibrahimović and the LA Galaxy as they push for a postseason berth on the road, in front of what will be a record-breaking crowd of more than 50,000 in Minnesota (5 p.m. ET).   The game will be Minnesota United’s final match in TCF Bank Stadium before the club celebrates the opening of Allianz Field in 2019.
In addition to domestic coverage in the U.S., TSN and TVA Sports will this week air the classic Canadian rivalry of Montreal versus Toronto.  The Montreal Impact are in a race against surging D.C. United for one of the final spots in the Eastern Conference playoff picture headed into the final two weeks of the season, but Toronto FC will be back full force as all seven of the club’s international callups, including Sebastian Giovinco, Michael Bradley, Marky Delgado and Jonathan Osorio return from international duty for the match.
The full slate of games will air in more than 170 countries worldwide, with international broadcast partners carrying live look-ins as the drama unfolds on Goal Zone.
On both sides of ESPN’s coverage, MLS will provide an hour of in-depth analysis during “MLS MatchDay Central,” which will be hosted on MLSsoccer.com and MLS social media platforms (Facebook / Twitter/ YouTube). Pregame commentary from 2-3 p.m. ET will set the stage before the Eastern Conference matchups, with postgame coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET following the Western Conference games to break down the final implications leading into Decision Day 2018 presented by AT&T on October 28.

UFC 226: Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier & TUF 27 Finale: Israel Adesanya vs. Brad Tavares - Fights to make
Tumblr media
UFC’s International Fight Week has come to a close. And while it started out on a serious down note, with a stinker of a TUF 27 Finale card, it ended on one hell of a high. Daniel Cormier took every shot Stipe Miocic could land on him and answered back with a stunning KO. Cormier becomes just the second UFC fighter ever to hold two titles at the same time, and he’s opened up some serious matchmaking possibilities.
So, what’s next? And what does the UFC do with Miocic for that matter? Or Israel Adesanya, off the biggest win of his career.
To answer all those questions - and a whole bunch more - I’ll be turning to the classic Silva/Shelby fight booking method of years past. That means pitting winners against winners, losers against losers, and similarly tenured talent against one another. If you’d like to take your own crack at fantasy matchmaking, leave a comment below starting with, “I guess I do suck. Everyone says I suck and they were right, but I got to try anyway.” I’ll pick one winner from the responses to join me next time.
This week’s winner is BE reader ‘Alex JT,’ now let’s get to the fights:
DANIEL CORMIER
Alex - Lets keep it simple. Daniel Cormier stated before the fight he wanted to fight Brock Lesnar, and it seems to be already set-up. I think Cormier would wrestle with Lesnar just to show how much better he is, and that’s actually really intriguing to me. After all Brock Lesnar is, at the end of the day, a great real wrestler. I think that gets lost because of the WWE career. USADA, please leave Brock alone. On another note, while I’m happy for Cormier, it does make me sad about Jon Jones. I don’t condone any of his behavior, but this is what we all imagined for him, this moment. I hope tonight he realized that he let Cormier seize his moment, and it’s no one’s fault except his own. Daniel Cormier cemented his place as one of the greatest ever to do it and congratulations are in order. Now get your payday DC! Daniel Cormier vs. Brock Lesnar
Zane - Cormier came up with his own shortlist of potential opponents at the post-fight presser, and I don’t have any real problem with it. He’s preparing to ride off into the sunset after a long and very successful career and he wants to do it on his terms. Chances are that means he just sits and waits until Brock Lesnar is ready to go. Other than a miracle turn for Jon Jones in arbitration, it’s the only true ‘money’ bout on the table. If there’s a chance of him making 205 again, then a Gustafsson rematch would be fun – if Gus gets by Oezdemir – but that all feels too untrustworthy to bank on. Daniel Cormier vs. Brock Lesnar is clearly the bout both fighters and the UFC want.
STIPE MIOCIC
Alex - Stipe should fight Curtis Blaydes, and I’m going against the Shelby/Silva model of booking fights because of Colby Covington and Rafael Dos Anjos. Let me explain. There was absolutely NO REASON that the Covington/Dos Anjos fight should have been for the interim title. There was nothing wrong with Tyron Woodley, but the UFC needs pay-per-view buys. I mean it obviously didn’t help for UFC 225. However, with that stupid logic, Stipe Miocic versus Curtis Blaydes will be for the interim heavyweight title because why not? This is the new UFC. If anyone finds a prop bet for this, I will put money down on it because that’s how sure I am of this as Stipe’s next fight. Stipe Miocic versus Curtis Blaydes for the UFC Interim Heavyweight Title
Zane - There are some fun fights out there for Stipe Miocic, even off a loss. They could throw him into a rematch with Francis Ngannou, or even give him Derrick Lewis off this terrible win. I wouldn’t even be opposed to him fighting Alexander Volkov. If I didn’t think Cain Velasquez was a complete pipe dream, I’d say that’s the real fight to make here and now. It would make for one hell of a UFC return for the former champ. But, since I can’t depend on Cain making a comeback, I’ll say Lewis is the most logical bout. It’s a new one for Stipe, and while Lewis’ win was terrible, it keeps both men busy while we wait for this Lesnar thing to blow over. It’s either that or an Overeem rematch, I suppose. Derrick Lewis vs. Stipe Miocic, go after it.
DERRICK LEWIS
Alex - You want to talk about a disappointment, for the all the sh-t Derrick Lewis talked, that fight sucked. Lewis should fight Alexander Volkov. Not because he deserves it, but because Curtis Blaydes doesn’t need to fight him to stake a claim for a title shot. If Volkov wins, then there’s some fresh challengers after Cormier and Lesnar are done. Derrick Lewis vs. Alexander Volkov
Zane - Okay, I’ve already said Lewis vs. Stipe. But, assuming that doesn’t happen for some reason, then Lewis needs a backup plan. I’d be 100% up for seeing him face Alexander Volkov, and I’ve always always wanted to see Lewis face Alistair Overeem in the battle of limited power puncher vs. chinny, crafty vet. But the real answer, after that terrible performance, is for Lewis to face the winner of JDS vs. Ivanov. Either name would be a solid feather in Lewis’ cap (although obviously JDS much more so), and it’d be a chance for either JDS or Ivanov to assert themselves into a newly shaken up title picture. Lewis vs. Stipe is option A, but Lewis vs. JDS/Ivanov winner is a strong B side.
FRANCIS NGANNOU
Alex - I have no idea what to do here. He’s knocked out everyone. I guess based the on the Shelby/Silva model of booking fights the most logical person is Marcin Tybura, but that seems a little bit of a mismatch on paper. After tonight though, I don’t know what to expect from Ngannou moving forward. Francis Ngannou vs. Marcin Tybura
Zane - What to do with Ngannou after that terrible fight? I almost just want to see him fight Lewis again. Force him to take this bout over and over until it’s as fun in reality as it looked like on paper. Realistically, I wouldn’t be against seeing him fight Tai Tuivasa, who has been totally fearless and unreserved thus far in his MMA career. It could easily be too much too soon for the Aussie, but if he wins the implications are huge for him. Otherwise, I’m up for seeing Ngannou against the winner of Oliynyk vs. Hunt. But, the more I think about it, the more I’m up for Tuivasa vs. Ngannou as my first choice.
MIKE PERRY
Alex - While it was a great fight, all this does is snap Mike Perry’s losing streak. I don’t think this fight answered any questions in regards to where he currently sits in the Welterweight division. After losing to Santiago Ponzinibbio and Max Griffin, Perry is right back to where he was before this fight. At the end of the day he beat a lightweight who fought on ten days notice. He still needs to answer the question, if he’s a ranked fighter or a gatekeeper to the top 15. The rib injury Yancy Medeiros suffered seems pretty significant, and that probably gives Perry enough time to recover from this fight. The UFC should re-book Perry’s original fight at UFC 226 for the MSG show in November. Mike Perry vs. Yancy Medeiros
Zane - Perry looked improved with a close win over Paul Felder, but it also showed that he’s still got a ways to go. He hits with a ton of power, but slowing his output means he’s got to hurt opponents clear and clean or risk giving up the points edge to volume. It could be time for a well rounded, athletic test like Vicente Luque or Warlley Alves. Or maybe another banger like Elizeu Zaleski? I think I’d actually like to see Perry show that he can pick off a work-rate striker, who can stay outside and keep hands in his face, however. That’s why I’m gonna go with Belal Muhammad. Muhammad doesn’t have the power to likely break Perry, but he does have the skill to stave him off, if Perry hasn’t evolved. It’s a chance to see if he’s moved past obvious former glaring flaws. Perry vs. Muhammad should be next.
ANTHONY PETTIS
Alex - Good for Anthony Pettis! It’s hard to know what to expect performance wise from him these days, but he got the win. However, rankings wise, I think this bumps him up to eighth at the highest and ninth at the lowest. This is the perfect fight for Gregor Gillespie. If you want to build up Gillespie’s star power, a win over a former champion is a great place to start that ascension towards a title shot and name recognition. Anthony Pettis vs. Gregor Gillespie
Zane - I never really thought I’d see this version of Anthony Pettis again. Or at least not against reasonable opposition. Maybe he’d style on late stage Tibau or something, but Chiesa seemed like a tough out who could expose the same problems everyone else has for years now. Somehow Pettis found a bit of that WEC magic, though, and reminded everyone why he was once considered one of the most exciting talents in the game. So, would Al Iaquinta fight him? He just recently turned down a bout with James Vick, but Pettis may have the name value to draw ‘Ragin’ Al into the Octagon again. I’ll admit, I’d also be totally up for seeing Pettis take on Dan Hooker, who really deserves the step up, and has carved his own niche out as an ultra dangerous striker with a flashy sub game. Still, Pettis vs. Iaquinta is choice one.
PAULO COSTA
Alex - So before I talk about his next fight, what are the odds he passes a post fight drug test? Jokes aside, I don’t think he should fight Israel Adesanya next. Why put two fresh fighters contenders against each other? David Branch is still looking to fight someone, and I think this is another good test for Costa. Branch doesn’t excel at anything, but he’s also not terrible in any one area. Lets keep building up Paulo Costa and Israel Adesanya without forcing them to face each other this early. Paulo Costa vs. David Branch
Zane - I’ve made my point below that Isreal Adesanya should be the next man in line for Paulo Costa. It would be an insanely fun style clash, and Adesanya gunning for Hall makes this fight feel like the logical next step. Assuming, however that that doesn’t happen, Costa has a couple good options. He could take a slight step back and go for a fight against Elias Theodorou – who recently picked up a good win over Trevor Smith – or he can take a big jump forward and take on David Branch. I could absolutely see Branch running roughshod over him, but I don’t see any big reason that Costa can’t get a chance to meet with some real adversity. Paulo Costa vs. David Branch.
RAPHAEL ASSUNCAO
Alex - Raphael Assuncao should be getting the next title shot after T.J. Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt fight, based on beating Marlon Moraes, but he won’t. Counting on Dominick Cruz to take a non-title fight seems pretty pointless given his injury history and age. Especially if Dillashaw wins – since he’s never beaten Cruz – it’s a fight to book over Dillashaw versus Moraes, and something Dillashaw would probably be more interested in. Looking at the rankings, John Lineker doesn’t have a fight scheduled after winning in May. I guess that’s the way to go. But, Assuncao deserve better, regardless of the entertainment value in his win over Rob Font. Raphael Assuncao versus John Lineker
Zane - Let Marlon Moraes fight Dominick Cruz and give Assuncao his shot at the Dillashaw/Garbrandt winner. That’s the dream of anyone who roots for the guy that goes out and just fights hard year in and year out; racks up the wins, and quietly dominates most of his division. Most likely it’ll be the opposite, though. Assuncao just doesn’t seem like a fighter the UFC is interested in pushing in any way. A fight with Cruz might be just enough to keep him happy while Moraes slips by him. But that assumes Cruz is even healthy enough to fight again anytime soon. If not, and if the UFC is still going to skip Assuncao over, then book Assuncao vs. Lineker. But, that’s just assuming the UFC is going to keep giving him the shortest end of the stick they can.
DAN HOOKER
Alex - Four decisive finishes in a row deserves a top 15 opponent. I know Zane was calling for Dan Hooker and Gregor Gillespie to fight, but I don’t think the momentum both fighters have established forces them to fight each other right now. With Michael Chiesa leaving the Lightweight division, Hooker could find himself ranked 15th next week. This sets up perfectly for a match with Francisco Trinaldo. The UFC needs to start building younger contenders, and after this weekend, it’s clear that Dan Hooker is one of them. Dan Hooker vs. Francisco Trinaldo
Zane - Was I?... I very well may have said it at some time in the past... *checks notes*... Yes, yes I did. Well, I wouldn’t be against it, but I’ll admit that it does feel like Hooker has earned something bigger with a quick, dominant victory here. As I mentioned above, I actually really like the idea of Hooker vs. Pettis. But, I also have the feeling that that’s not a fight Pettis would be interested in – especially with Hooker languishing on the Fight Pass prelims. Trinaldo is a strong option, and I really do wish Mairbek Taisumov could get his visa together enough to actually fight; Hooker vs. Taisumov would be hot fire. In the absence of trust, though, I think Hooker’s best off getting the winner of Olivier Aubin-Mercier & Alex Hernandez. It’s no kind of step up in competition, but it’s the most sensible fight to plant him firmly in the rankings.
OTHER BOUTS: Felder vs. Green, Chiesa vs. Moraes, Rountree vs. Edilov, Saki vs. Prachnio, Hall vs. Ferreira, Font vs. Perez/Wineland winner, Klose vs. Diego Ferreira, Vannata vs. F. Silva, Millender vs. Alhassan, Griffin vs. Mina, Burns vs. Ray, Whitmire vs. Xiaonan, Moyle vs. Chan-Mi
THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER: UNDEFEATED FINALE
ISRAEL ADESANYA
Alex - No disrespect to Daniel Cormier, but Israel Adesanya is the biggest winner of this weekend. He put on an outstanding and dominant performance that I don’t think anyone expected. However, I still don’t think he’s answered the question about how he would do against a strong wrestler, and someone with a strong jiu-jitsu game. As stated above, I think it would be a huge mistake to put him against Paulo Costa. Instead, lets see if Adesanya can put together a performance like this against Jacare Souza. If he can pass that test with flying colors, then the future is indeed bright for the Last Style Bender. Israel Adesanya vs. Jacare Souza
Zane - Do you make the Paulo Costa fight now, or do you save it? Part of me thinks you put Adesanya against David Branch or the winner of Derek Brunson vs. Antonio Carlos Jr. and keep the ‘Last Style Bender’ and Costa on separate paths to top contention. But, Adesanya vs. Costa is a great fight and it seems like the obvious angle to take. Sometimes you just gotta take the good fight when it’s right in front of you. All the action all of the time. Isreal Adesanya vs. Paulo Costa is too good to refuse.
BRAD TAVARES
Alex - Man, I feel bad for Brad Tavares, but this one makes me question if he was overrated, and Adesanya was underrated. Tavares went for 12 takedowns, and only completed one, but he’s not known as a wrestler. After that strategy failed, he fell right into Adesanya’s game and it turned into a kickboxing match. This was his 17th fight in the UFC, so I think we may have seen how far he can go in the Middleweight division. He’s a top ten middleweight, but not a top five middleweight. I think Uriah Hall is also in that group as well. Lets see who can still fight at that level. Brad Tavares vs. Uriah Hall
Zane - Huge setback for Tavares, who had put a serious run together in the middleweight division. Now he’s kinda back to being another one of those guys who just can’t seem to climb from the edges of the top 10 into title talk. Lucky for him, there are a bunch of those guys at 185, and fighting them is the best way to make a case for getting another really big fight. Thiago Santos is coming off a rough loss, and a fight between him and Tavares would be a banger. If Tavares needs longer to recover and if Santos wants to fight again sooner, then give Tavares the loser of Carlos Jr. Vs. Derek Brunson. But, Marreta vs. Tavares should be higher on the list.
MIKE TRIZANO
Alex - This fight was garbage. Michael Trizano and Joe Giannetti should be sending Francis Ngannou and Derrick Lewis some edible arrangements for putting on a worse fight. Looking at Trizano’s options, I wouldn’t mind putting him in there against another New York native who’s coming off a win, and that’s Desmond Green. If the UFC wants to take their time with him, then the winner of Jon Tuck and Drew Dober could work, but I think Desmond Green is the better fight. Michael Trizano vs. Desmond Green
Zane - Not an inspiring TUF Finale performance from Trizano, and it appears he’s going to need a lot of slow-playing if the UFC wants to develop him as any sort of long-term future lightweight. ‘Violent Bob Ross’ is calling for his own fight to claim unofficial TUF champ status, but honestly I think that might be too much. Claudio Puelles is a former TUF talent himself, and he just got a damned impressive comeback win. That should be just about Trizano’s speed right now. However, considering his pre-UFC career was largely at 145, there’s probably a good chance he’ll be dropping back down in weight. If he does, then match Trizano up with Dan Ige.
BRAD KATONA
Alex - On the other hand, Brad Katona put on a solid well rounded performance in his win over Jay Cucciniello. I feel like it’s easy to put Katona against “Violent Bob Ross” Luis Pena, but that doesn’t feel like it’s needed right now. Enrique Barzola and Arnold Allen are on long win streaks right now, so they’re out. That leaves a fight against Wang Guan, Julio Arce, Dan Ige, or Alex Caceres. Out of those four, I think the 20-1 Wang is the way to go. It’ll be a good test for Katona. Brad Katona vs. Wang Guan
Zane - Like Trizano, Katona is most likely destined to drop a division quickly. He’d been down at 135 regionally before his TUF call, and at 5’ 6” he probably belongs there. If Katona wants to stay at 145, then I’d be up for seeing him take on Shane Young or Steven Peterson. Down at 135, however, a bout against Guido Cannetti is about as reasonable a winner/winner fight as he can get. It’s either that or jump in with Nathaniel Wood & Petr Yan and see if he can swim with top prospects ASAP. Cannetti vs. Katona is the safer play here.
ROXANNE MODAFFERI
Alex - Roxanne Modafferi will find herself moving up the rankings after beating Barb Honchak. Depending on the results of Liz Carmouche vs. Jennifer Maia and Alexis Davis v. Katlyn Chookagian, Modafferi could find herself ranked in the top six by the time August rolls around just by winning this fight. The winner of Davis/Chookagian match-up is going to fight Valentina Shevchenko for the title when she wrecks Nicco Montano. If Carmouche wins she’ll likely fight Sijara Eubanks in a number one contender fight. That leaves Jessica Eye as Modafferi’s next opponent. Roxanne Modafferi vs. Jessica Eye
Zane - I think the most sensible fight Modafferi could get right now would be against Jessica Eye. If she wants to wait, the winner of Alexis Davis vs. Katlyn Chookagian would also be not bad, but Eye feels like just the right bout at the moment. Now 2-0 in the UFC at 125, Eye presents just the right mix of better athlete with worse fight IQ that would give Modafferi a chance to shine. And if Eye wins, it’s another solid name in what should be a deservedly slow track to title contention – given Eye’s previous run of poor form at 135. Eye vs. Modafferi is the fight to make at women’s flyweight.

ALL ABOARD! THE G1 HYPE TRAIN #1 : Hashimoto Shinya vs Genichiro Tenryu in the 1998 G1 Climax Second Round
This will be a short lived series to build hype for others, but also myself for the upcoming G1 Climax 27. I decided to do this separate of the Puroresu Rewind series mostly because I didn’t want to do 3-5 of that series in the next 10 days leading up to G1 Climax 27, then have to play catch up with it’s two sister series.
So this series will be it’s own ‘G1 Hype Train’ series. Hopefully if this whole tumblr thing works out next year I’ll revive it to build hype to the G1 Climax 28, but let's not put the cart before the horse.
Today we will be looking at a 2nd round match in the 1998 G1 Climax, which was a single elimination tournament and is also the last time the single elimination format was used for the G1 Climax.
Video Link for those with NJPW World
Hashimoto Shinya vs Genichiro Tenryu
Who’s who?
Hashimoto Shinya is one of the most decorated men in NJPW history, his 3rd IWGP Heavyweight Championship reign in 1996 being the longest in the belts history with 489 days. Which might not seem long, but one has to remember this belt was created in 1987 after the era of wrestling where guys would hold a major belt for 1,000+ days.
Hashimoto is also one (the others being Keiji Mutoh and Satoshi Kojima) of three wrestlers that have held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship(which made the rounds in various places after NWA became a bit irrelevant), the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship(AJPW’s top belt) and the IWGP Heavyweight Championship(NJPW’s top belt).
Genichiro Tenryu is one of the more decorated men in AJPW history, where he held pretty much any honor that promotion could give you. The top of which is their Triple Crown Championship which he held 3 times being #6 all time days with that belt. Tenryu’s roots were in Sumo wrestling where he competed/trained for 13 years from the age of 13 to 26 before leaving it for professional wrestling.
He more than excelled at pro wrestling having 9 Tokyo Sports ‘Best Bout/MOTY’ awards and 4 Meltzer 5 star match rankings, no doubt considered one of the best wrestlers to ever work in Japan.
What are they wearing?
I gushed so much about both men I forgot to describe who was who in the video. Hashimoto Shinya is wearing long black pants with red trim while Genichiro Tenryu is in black trunks and yellow boots both wearing what is their signature attire.
How’s the match?
Brutal, it’s just completely brutal and grueling for a 2nd round tournament match. I think the one complaint I have that I could see others having as well is simply the strike heavy bout feels a little one note because of it. Dave Meltzer rated this match a 4.75 stars and I’d probably be a little lower myself. Not that it’s not a fun watch because it is. Had this been 10 minutes or so longer the onenote complaint would be much harsher. Though since this is a 15 minute or so fight the striking focus of the match doesn’t hurt it all that much.
I’d describe it as 2 guys who showed up without a script or having practiced this fight and just winging it. I don’t mean that in a bad way, as the improv of the match was just, “Let’s have a striking war until one of us can’t get back up.” To steal a line from spinal tap, this is ‘Strong Style’ turned up to 11. If you don’t mind a wrestling bout that’s 90% striking this might be one of your favorite matches.
I’d argue it’s one note, but when that one note is played so expertly it’s hard to complain. Hashimoto might be one of the best pure strikers to ever step in the ring, every hit of his just feels like a bullet and with that analogy by the end of this match Hashimoto and Tenryu are basically Bonnie and Clyde.
Final Thoughts
Leaving this match, I’m pretty interested to see how the next two rounds played out in the tournament. Neither was reviewed as highly by Meltzer, but I have a hard time imagining the finals of any tournament not to have the excitement ramped up.
So don’t be too surprised if I cover the Semi-Finals/Finals of the 1998 G1 in this G1 Hype Train series.
This series will be dictated by what good/great G1 matches I can find on NJPW World and won’t be just G1 as I may likely go back to the precursor tournaments : International Wrestling Grand Prix, MSG League, World Cup Tournament and World League of which there were 17 years of under those various names before the 27 G1s, meaning this tournament by NJPW has actually be going on for 44 years or... more specifically since 1974.

Fights to Make: Oklahoma City
Kevin Lee (beat Michael Chiesa) vs. Michael Johnson/Justin Gaethje (Jul. 7) winner: Mario Yamasaki’s too-early stoppage may have actually hurt Kevin Lee more than it hurt Michael Chiesa; Chiesa was probably going to either tap out or pass out shortly after the fight got called anyway, and this only serves to overshadow what would’ve been a huge win for Lee - things were going poorly against an excellent submission specialist like Chiesa, but Lee turned things around and wound up beating “The Maverick” at his own game. I still think Lee has a few more fits and starts left in his rise up the ladder - his defense is still sorely lacking, particularly on the feet - but I’d be fine basically giving him whoever at this point. Lee called out Khabib Nurmagomedov after the fight, which is probably a bit crazy, but I’d still be fine with it, if only to give Lee an idea of where he stands and what he needs to work on. But instead I’ll go with the winner of Johnson/Gaethje, which headlines the TUF finale in a few weeks. Either guy would test that porous striking defense, and Lee got in one of the best burns of the year on Johnson at the big pre-UFC 211 press conference, so if Lee/Johnson winds up being the fight, you even have a bit of an angle.
Michael Chiesa (lost to Kevin Lee) vs. Leonardo Santos: As for Chiesa, this fight was sort of a worst-case, even taking out the unlucky stoppage. Chiesa’s pretty much been an automatic sub machine, and this was really the first time someone was able to beat Chiesa at his own game. And Chiesa can’t really strike, so this was pretty much a reminder that Chiesa probably can’t ride his one-dimensional style to a title shot or anything, and will probably wind up sticking as a Jim Miller-esque fun divisional stalwart and quasi-viable TV headliner. There are worse fates. Anyway, as far as a next fight, I like the idea of using Chiesa as sort of a gatekeeper for a guy looking to break into the top fifteen; even though Chiesa would weirdly be more of a prospect in this fight, I’m going with Leonardo Santos, another guy with an elite submission game. In fact, Santos might strangely be a more difficult fight for Chiesa than Lee was, since he might be able to neutralize Chiesa’s grappling and is probably a better striker than Lee.
Tim Boetsch (beat Johny Hendricks) vs. Antonio Carlos Junior: Most of the focus on this fight will rightfully be on Hendricks missing weight and generally looking done as a fighter, but good on Boetsch for getting a win here, as this was another reminder that he’s still a pretty damn dangerous veteran gatekeeper. Boetsch is just a big, tough dude, which often makes for an interesting test against guys who can either be undersized, like Hendricks, or have trouble dealing with tough opponents, like Carlos Junior. “Shoe Face” has pretty much everything you’d want from a prospect on paper, but he tends to just tire out and start to wilt late in fights if he can’t put his opponent away - Carlos Junior could still wind up tapping out Boetsch with his BJJ game, but if he can’t, I like the idea of Boetsch as a guy who can hang in there and see if Carlos can finally survive a gut check.
Felice Herrig (beat Justine Kish) vs. Michelle Waterson: Herrig continues to impress in the cage since taking a year-plus off to essentially get her head right. While she was able to out-strike Alexa Grasso this time around, Herrig went back to relying on her wrestling here against Kish and looked excellent doing so, even against a bigger, more powerful fighter. After the assumed Rose Namajunas fight, Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s fairly open in terms of next opponents, and it suddenly wouldn’t be shocking if Herrig earned her way there. Anyway, as far as a next fight, let’s give Herrig a bout that was apparently given to her before UFC decided to pivot and give it to Paige VanZant, and that’s against Michelle Waterson. Waterson’s the bigger name at this point, but I think they’re about even in terms of fighting ability, and I could see this being a pretty fun back-and-forth fight wherever it takes place, as well a big opportunity for Herrig.
Carla Esparza (beat Maryna Moroz) vs. Jessica Andrade: I get why people hate Carla Esparza, at least when it comes to how she came off on TUF 20 - I don’t really begrudge her over the now-infamous $1,000 sundae - but she’s still a really damn good fighter; I thought she beat Randa Markos, and she was back to her wrestling-heavy form with a one-sided win over Moroz. Esparza should still be in the thick of things near the top of strawweight - even if her style and the shit-kicking Joanna Jedrzejczyk put on her make me doubt she ever gets another title shot - and I like the idea of putting her against Jessica Andrade. Andrade’s sheer power makes for an interesting test for Esparza’s wrestling, and it’s also an opportunity for Andrade to rebound off her own blowout loss to Joanna Champion.
Johny Hendricks (lost to Tim Boetsch) vs. Sam Alvey/Rashad Evans (Aug. 5) loser: So, Johny Hendricks should probably hang it up. I kind of wondered what Hendricks would be able to do against someone who dwarfed him like Boetsch, and the answer was...not much, as Hendricks missed weight, then lost things on the feet before being put away with a head kick and some follow-up strikes. I mean, Hendricks simultaneously can’t make 185 while being way too undersized for the weight class, so I have no idea what you do with him. Alvey and Evans square off in Mexico City, and the loser of that bout is going to be looking for their own answers, particularly if it’s Evans, who’s also trying to revive his career at 185, albeit after dropping down rather than moving up.
Clay Guida (beat Erik Koch) vs. Tony Martin (beat Johnny Case): Both lightweights had impressive performances here, so I like the idea of matching them up. Guida made his return to 155 and pretty much immediately proved how dumb his cut to featherweight was - back at lightweight, Guida’s speed played much better, and he also saw the power for his relentless wrestling game suddenly come back. Meanwhile, in the best fight of the night, Martin deviated from his own usual power-wrestling game and instead flashed some shockingly solid striking, mostly piecing up Case and even doing some trash talk while doing so. I’m kind of curious to see how each guy would handle the other - Guida might have trouble taking down someone as giant as Martin, particularly since Martin has some skill, but Guida’s ridiculous pace and herky-jerky striking style could also give the improved Martin some fits.
Tim Means (beat Alex Garcia) vs. Thiago Alves/Mike Perry (???) winner: Well, at least Means got a win, I guess. Alex Garcia got out to a fast start, but then faded quickly, but it seems like that early burst was still enough to keep Means from going balls-out, as he just coasted to an uncharacteristically cautious decision win. Still, Means is fairly consistent with his violence, so I like the idea of him against either Alves or Perry, though I’m not sure when their fight is taking place. It was supposed to be at the August pay-per-view, but that date just got scrapped, so we’ll see, though I assume UFC is keeping the pairing intact. And if not, just put Means against Perry for a fun brawl.
Dennis Siver (beat B.J. Penn) vs. Guan Wang: Dennis Siver continues to look like Dennis Siver, though that means increasingly less; he was able to mostly outpace whatever this version of B.J. Penn is, but still managed to get caught and knocked down in the second round, which...isn’t great. At 38, I don’t really know what you do with Siver - Chinese prospect Guan Wang is supposed to debut at some point, so what the hell, do that, and maybe UFC can sell it in China as their top prospect against a man who main evented against Conor McGregor or something.
B.J. Penn (lost to Dennis Siver) vs. Gray Maynard/Teruto Ishihara (Jul. 7) loser: The best I can say about Penn is that some fighters on the Bellator MSG card depressed me more, so, there’s that. Penn is strictly in the Gray Maynard zone of me not wanting to see him get hit; we could just get weird and do Penn against Ryan Hall, like UFC did with Maynard, or hey, we can just put him against Maynard himself for maximum depression. And on the off-chance that Japanese prospect Ishihara manages to lose to this form of Maynard, what the hell, give Ishihara a rehab win.
Justine Kish (lost to Felice Herrig) vs. Maryna Moroz (lost to Carla Esparza): Things pretty much went the same for both women, as they were the superior athletes, but just got out-wrestled by their veteran foes. So I like the idea of pitting them against each other; both are more athleticism and aggression than anything else, so just let them charge at each other for an all-offense bout and let things sort themselves out.
Marvin Vettori (beat Vitor Miranda) vs. Andrew Sanchez: This was a solid win for the newly minted “Italian Dream” - it wasn’t super-memorable, as Vettori mostly relied on his wrestling as needed, but Miranda can be a tough out, and the main concern with Vettori has been that he’s too raw to rack up wins in the UFC just yet. He has time to grow, so I wouldn’t mind rushing him into a fight with Sanchez, who I consider a top prospect, but is coming off an upset loss to Anthony Smith; it’s both a solid opportunity at a bounce-back win for Sanchez, and a chance for Vettori to get his biggest win to date.
Dominick Reyes (beat Joachim Christensen) vs. Jeremy Kimball (beat Josh Stansbury): Well, Dominick Reyes is at least somewhat legit - he’s been riding a string of first-round knockouts, and continued that in his UFC debut, becoming the first man to knock out Joachim Christensen, and doing so in just 29 seconds. Reyes’s potential is tantalizing, but he’s still raw, so I’d bring him along slowly and put him against Kimball, who kicked off the card with a quick win over Josh Stansbury. Kimball’s a funky, essentially self-taught fighter who’s probably at his best sparking a weird brawl, so if nothing else, it’d be a fun fight against Reyes, who’s still at the point where pretty much anyone on the roster is a solid test.
Alex Garcia (lost to Tim Means) vs. Vicente Luque: Well, it looked like Garcia had finally turned the corner for...two or three minutes? Garcia had some early success against Means, but then was back to his old, ineffective self by the second round, as Garcia seemed more concerned with conserving his energy rather than hunting for a finish. Let’s put him against Luque, who’s similarly built for early dynamism rather than a strong gas tank - Luque’s had more success, but against inferior competition, while Garcia’s been more middling against a stronger slate.
Erik Koch (lost to Clay Guida) vs. Jason Saggo: Well, that wasn’t great, as Koch pretty much had no answers for Guida’s straight-ahead wrestling game. I’d be fine just putting Koch against grapplers and seeing if he sticks; let’s go with Canadian submission expert Saggo.
Jared Gordon (beat Michel Quinones) vs. Gavin Tucker/Rick Glenn (Sep. 9) winner: This was an impressive debut for New York’s Gordon, as he pretty much just laid a beating on Quinones for two rounds before eventually stopping it with ground and pound. Gavin Tucker had a similarly impressive debut in his native Halifax this past February, and faces Rick Glenn in Edmonton - a Gordon/Tucker fight would be a fun prospect scrap, and hell, even Glenn would make for a fun test for “Flash.”
Darrell Horcher (beat Devin Powell) vs. Jon Tuck: Horcher came off well here - he looked very much like a guy shaking off the rust after a near-fatal motorcycle accident and a year-plus layoff, but he got the win, and gave a pretty great post-fight interview detailing the struggle he had been through. Horcher’s probably going to settle in a fairly fun low-to-mid level fighter, a space Tuck occupies at the moment, so let’s go with that.
Vitor Miranda (lost to Marvin Vettori) vs. Alex Nicholson: This was a bit of a disheartening loss for Miranda, as it appears his fun run at middleweight has hit a clear ceiling. He’s probably close to the cut line, if only due to age, but if he sticks, I’d like putting him against Nicholson in what could turn into a pretty interesting kickboxing match.
Johnny Case (lost to Tony Martin) vs. Alvaro Herrera/Jordan Rinaldi (Aug. 5) winner: Tony Martin looked shockingly good here, and Case has suddenly gone from under-the-radar surging lightweight to two straight losses. I’m hoping UFC keeps Case around and sets him up for a win, since he’s fairly fun and well-rounded, and, at worst, can be a solid gatekeeper. Herrera/Rinaldi is probably the lowest-tier lightweight bout on the books, so to that end, let’s put Case against the winner, since the loser is probably getting cut.
Devin Powell (lost to Darrell Horcher) vs. Alex White: I can see what there is to like about Powell - he’s big, tough as hell, and aggressive - but he really doesn’t seem to be powerful or defensively skilled enough to stick at a UFC level. If Alex White hasn’t gotten the axe, I could see Powell/White as a fun loser-leaves-town bout between two guys who are somewhat similar.
Michel Quinones (lost to Jared Gordon) vs. Zabit Magomedsharipov: Quinones didn’t really show a ton here, as Gordon just sort of overpowered him. Quinones feels like a guy who might quickly go two and out in the UFC, so I’m not really making his matchmaking a priority; let’s put him against top prospect Magomedsharipov, a Russian who has yet to make his UFC debut.
Joachim Christensen (lost to Dominick Reyes) vs. Josh Stansbury (lost to Jeremy Kimball): I kind of hate just putting winner against winner and loser against loser for the two light heavyweight bouts on this card, but both work; I was hopeful Christensen and Stansbury could both hang on as gatekeepers in a division that could use some depth, but it’s looking more and more like both guys are just too slow to really hang at this level. Though, if there’s a last chance fight between the two, it’d at least guarantee one would survive on the roster for a little bit longer.

@defiedfate asked: "Fuck me yourself, you coward!" --a very stoned Barbie to Striker
Tumblr media
Okay, those were fighting words, but she was stoned out of her mind and he wouldn't dare hurt her, force her, or anything of the sort. "Are you sure that's what you want sweetheart?" He asked, "You're not in your right mind and I'm not going to take advantage of ya, but I'm also not one to turn down such an offer." He said, tail wrapping around her waist as he pulled her in close, hand tugging at the bottom of her dress. "So, now's your chance to turn around and run off back to wherever you're staying." He said, his other hand moving to rest on the small of her back.
