Name: Rana Savas Age: 36 How well do we know each other?: well enough to finally admit i carried you out of that first ritual on my back… it's been a long ride, gallus. i couldn't be happier that you're the person i've shared it with. Do you have a pet name for me?: sparks, upstart, detective, gallus, snow … you get the picture. Do I have a pet name for you?: plenty, but templar savas seems to be your favorite - even without my title. Are you attracted to me?: of course i am - that's why i'm asking you to marry me. Why do you want to marry me?: i don't give a damn what comes next at this point; even if half of thedas falls into the sea. i want to spend it beside you, Big wedding or Small wedding?: small, close… something that can't be crashed. Do you see children in our future?: if you were open to adoption, i would be too. plenty of good kids who need homes.
( from @pactheld )
"Templar Savas. What is this." Her tone is playful while her weight settles back into the other woman. Both lounging happily in the cushion of their shared bed. She rests her head against her shoulder, hips resting between Rana's thighs while she holds the little sheet of parchment up. Her eye is moving as she reads through the first selection, of name, age - details she didn't need, she always remembers that her favorite former Templar was at least a couple years older than her. "Be honest Rana, you had your eye on me long before that, how many times did we pass each other and I hadn't even realized. How long did you follow, I wonder? You carried me, but you had to know where I was to begin with." And there's a little wink while her eye draws up to Rana's face. A joke made despite how little she remembered after disrupting that ritual. It had all happened to fast, one moment she was on her feet in pursuit, the next the world had gone dark - and then a part of her was gone.
She taps her finger against the paper, once, twice, and then stops at the nicknames. She smiles, every single nickname she enjoyed, and enjoys hearing them. She turns her head, touching Rana's chin to draw her head to to peck her mouth, "Savas." Peck, "Temple, Templar- " Peck, Peck, one for each name. "Tally, Mark, And Work up." Only she gives one extra kiss, an unspoken token of affection for another name - lover. And then the she tilts her head, resting her temple against Rana's chin before her eye returns to the paper.
"For someone so blunt and so easily flustered, you are awfully poetic when you are speaking your heart." Reading the words made her chest twist up into a tender warmth, an affection that fluttered in her belly and soothed her to her very bones. Even if half of Thedas falls into the sea.. Neve smiles gently, and then shifts from where she lay against Rana. Perching up onto her knee - hands setting the parchment aside to set them on the other woman's stomach as she swings a thigh over hers, and the other to properly straddle her lap. And it's here, Neve kisses her.
Kisses her until Rana's hands settle on her hips and Neve can't help her own trembling excitement as she brings to grind down. But just before ti gets too heated she lifts her head. "We can invite only our friends, those who are close to us. We won't tell anyone, not until after.. " Better to not risk it, to not risk anything going wrong - and so she kisses her again and wastes no time in deepening it. Lifting up onto her knees to wrap her arms around Rana's neck and claw her fingers into her shoulder and back. Yes, they can hash out the details of adoption later - for now, she wanted her wife to be.
no number scale, why aren't we married yet. . - Spouse Application - accepting - @pactheld - Rana Savas.

Warnings: Mentions of Rana being a creep to the girls (flirting with underaged female students + with the reader)
The weekend comes and go, and I'm left with my thoughts about Kana. The article that was published on Friday hasn't been updated, and everywhere I check there doesn't seem to he a mention of the nurse from other news outlets.
I hope that this was all just a misunderstanding and that he will be here today. If he really did go missing, then it's another problem that the school will have to deal with.
When I make it school this morning, I go to the nurse's office after I switch out my shoes. There is hope in my heart that Kana is there walking around, waiting for me.
I tell both of the siblings that'll be back soon, and I quickly turn around and make my way to the nurse's office.
When I make it to the white doors, I slide it to the side and I step inside.
Inside I'm met with... someone else.
It's a different nurse. It's not Kankoshi or Kana. The nurse has short black hair, and she's wearing glasses. She turns around from what she's doing and looks at me.
"What might you need?" She asks me. Her tone feels cold, unlike Kana. She pushes up her glasses and walks over to me.
"I was just wondering if Mr. Kana was here," I tell her, ready to turn around and leave.
"Oh, him. I'm not sure when he'll come back. What might be your name? Is it (Y/N) by any chance?" She asks me as she places her hands on her hips.
"Yeah, that's me. Why?" I ask her, wondering what she might want from me.
"I was told you were helping him out. I was told to tell you that the uniform needs to be returned. Orders of the headmaster when I first got here."
The uniform... I forgot about it.
"Yes, I'll return as soon as possible. Thank you for telling me," I give her a short nod, and I turn around and leave.
So Mr. Kana is really gone. I wish I could know where he went, but maybe that type of case would be too large for me to handle.

"Ugh, I can't stand that guy," Taeko blurts out as the three of us set down on the rooftop to eat our lunch. She pops open her bento box and starts eating quickly.
"Why? What happened?" Her brother asks her as he starts to eat too. His voice holds a tone of worry, wondering what made his older sister so angry.
"We have this new teacher. He's just a substitute, but he is so annoying. I don't know how they hired that guy!" Taeko complains to the both of us.
"Well, what did he do?" I ask, curiosity getting the best of me.
"What didn't he do?" She replies back, "He was flirting with all the girls, even me. And it was just so... so weird! You shouldn't be doing that to us!" Taeko continues on, hoping that we will understand.
"Why don't you tell another teacher?" Taro suggests, hoping that his idea could make her calm down.
"They would probably want evidence of what he does," Taeko says with a sad tone, playing with her food with her chopsticks.
"How about recording him?" I now suggest, hoping that could help her.
"Okay, sounds good. But how do I do that?" She asks me back.
"Oh..."
"Exactly," she quickly says back, "I can't just take my phone out and record him during the middle of class. He'll kick me out and tell me to go to the guidance counselor. I'm about to graduate, and I don't want that happening."
"I forgot that you're graduating," Taro tells her with a slight smile, "But we still have a three months or so before it happens."
"Yeah, but this stupid teacher is getting in the way. He shouldn't even be called a teacher. They should take his teaching license away," complains further about the man.
I want to help her, but I can't. I doubt that the teacher would be interested in me in the first place, and it would be hard to record him. I don't have the needed items to bug his classroom and get evidence about what he is doing to the girls.
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
The bell rings, and Taro meets up with me. Our classes are just down the hallway from each other, but we usually meet up on the first floor.
"I'm curious, (Y/N)," he starts off as we approach the stairs, "I wonder how the teacher looks like. I can't be the only one wondering, right?"
"Yeah, I wonder too. From what I'm hearing, it seems that Taeko is the only one complaining about him," he informs him about what I heard throughout the day from the third year girls.
"How about we go check before everyone leaves?" Taro asks, hoping that I'll agree to his suggestion.
"Let's just make it quick," I tell him as I we start going up the stairs.
We quickly make it to the third floor, and we walk over to class 3-2. We make sure we aren't seen by anyone inside of the room. We peek our heads into the classroom and take a look inside.
"That's him? Taro asks, dumbfounded by how the substitute teacher looks. I'm sure he had his own thoughts about how the teacher looked like, but nothing could have prepared him for what he really looks like.
His clothing looks normal for the most part. It's just that his half of his chest is exposed.
I couldn't lie and say I guessed right. I was just as stunned as Taro. I was expecting someone older, not a young teacher doing all this.
"Crap! He's coming over!" Taro tells me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
Taro rushes off and down the hallway. He must have thought that I ran too, but I'm still standing in place.
I see the teacher walk over to me with a smirk on his face. I can't form any words, and I only stare at his approaching figure.
He eventually makes it over to me and leans against the doorframe. He crosses his arms over his chest and looks at me. I can feel uneasy as I feel his sharp, red eyes looking over my smaller figure.
"What brings you here, little thing?" He asks me with another smirk forming on his face.
"I was just... I...," I cursed myself in my head. Why was I stuttering? I knew why I was here, but at the same time I didn't want to admit it to the teacher. I felt it was too embarrassing.
"How cute. You can barely form any words," he teases me, his smirk only growing bigger from my stuttering.
I start to feel myself get flustered at his comment and at my own actions. I want to run away and go with Taro. I secretly hoped that Taro would come back up and take me away.
"I usually have the girls come over to me. You're the first boy to come here. How interesting," he continues on, knowing that I won't be able to respond to him.
He tilts his head and asks me a question, "You're not a first year, right?"
I shake my head, "No, I'm a second year."
"That's cute. A second year student has even fallen for me. How about I let you come inside, and I can teach you what the third year students are doing. Think of it as a head start," he moves aside to let me in.
"No!" I blurt out loudly. My words take him aback, and he gives me a smile in return.
He turns around, "Well, my door will always be open for you."
He closes the door, and I'm left standing alone. I blink, and I look around, hoping no one say what transpired.
I quickly leave and met up with Taro. When I make it to the first floor, I'm met with Taro and Taeko.
"There you are!" Taro calls out to me as he sees him go into the locker area, "What happened? I'm sorry I left you there by yourself."
"I'm fine. He just scolded me, that's all," I lie to Taro, not wanting to worry him about what happened.
"Okay. What happened?" Taeko asks, wondering what we got ourselves into.
"We just went to your classroom to see how the substitute looked like, and he caught us...," Taro tells his sister with a little bit of shame seeping into his words.
A look of surprise takes over Taeko's face, "Really?"
We both nod. We expect her to scold us or even laugh at us getting caught.
"Just don't do it again, but do you see what I mean?" She asks us.
"Yeah, I can't believe they let him walk in like that," I tell her.
"I know, right? He should just be fired at that point," Taeko rolls her eyes as she speaks.
"Let's go to the clubroom. Maybe writing will help you?" Taro asks her as he points to the stairs.
"Yeah. I think that would help me," she answers happily. She seemed ready to start writing agian after a week of the club being closed.
All three of us start to make our way to the stairs and into the clubroom.
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
"You gotta be kidding! It's raining?" Taeko complains as we stand a few feet away from the entrance.
"None of us brought an umbrella," Taro adds on, as he watches the rain to continue to pour down to the ground.
"We can't just stay here. We have to leave eventually," I tell the siblings. I would hate to get wet, but it's the only thing we can do.
Taeko lets out a sigh and nods her head. "You'll just have to run through the rain then," Taeko tells us before letting out a sigh of disappointment.
We step closer to the doors, and we put our bags on top of our heads, in hopes that our heads will be spared from the rain droplets.
Once we're all ready, we start to run. I can almost feel myself slipping, but I am able to retain my balance. The three of us keep running under the dark sky.
Taro and Taeko make it home, and I'm all alone. I only have to run a little more before I'm finally home.
I make it home without trouble, and I slam the door behind me. I take off my shoes and I drop my drenched bag to the ground.
I'm finally home.

Random Info On Willow 2
- Willow used to be called "Lady Skeleton" due to being dangerously thin when she was younger
- She used to have amenorrhoea until she married the late Baron of Namaire due to being severely underweight from lack of nutrition. Even in present-day, her body is still considered underweight (but to a lesser degree)
- She's left-handed
- Her signature winter coat actually belongs to a dead Revarian soldier that she chanced upon when searching for valuables at the site of a riot back when she was 13. She found it practical for harsh winters and liked the colour, thus she dragged it back home after stuffing its pockets full of valuables from other corpses on site
- Willow has thought to herself countless of times that had she not been the oldest and therefore the one her siblings depend on, she would've sold every part of herself to Revaire's black market so that her siblings have enough to tide them over for a decent period of time
- She knows how to play the piano, though she's not as good as Rose
- She has learnt how to lockpick when she was 8 as she used to break into the residences of the nobility in order to steal their valuables as well as to collect blackmail
- After she became a widow, Willow has exchanged the blackmail she collected from Revarian nobles with Corval for money, and she feels guilty whenever she hears of said nobles mysteriously dying shortly after the exchange was carried out
Willow stopped after the Queen of Revaire personally warned her to find another source of income to support herself and her family by threatening to kidnap her siblings and selling them to black market
- She has thought about killing her parents numerous times, but didn't want to send the message to her siblings that murder was okay if it was for a good cause. Rana has offered to assassinate her parents such that the deed can't be traced back to her, but Willow refused as she knew owing Rana was not worth getting her parents killed
- Willow collected suitable scraps of cloth whenever she was out and sewed them together so that her siblings could have functional clothing and blankets to weather the harsh climate
- She wishes to visit Hise for its warmer climate, and doesn't consider the neighbouring Corval as an option because the climate is too hot for her
- It's not that Willow doesn't want to wear clothes to cover up all her scars (save for the one on her face) but she doesn't have any. She can easily buy some but doesn't want to as she devotes a good majority of her finances for her siblings
- Even if she didn't like Penelope romantically, she would still agree to marry Lisle as she understands what it's like to enter a marriage with someone they don't like, and she doesn't want someone like him to be forced into such a marriage
- She helped to make the costumes for Week 5's theatrical

The Serpent and the Wolf. Pt.1 [Jughead Jones]
[Pt.2] [Pt.3] [Pt.4]
A/N: First time ever writing for anything Riverdale, comics+show combined.
Finally you were moving away from that place in middle of nowhere you called home for years. Finally you were leaving, heading to a new place and a new life. Well, not that new.You were born and raised there untill your parents got into that accident when you were only three years old. You lived with a close friend of theirs at first, but they quickly ran out of money and could barely keep their own home and you had to move in with some distant relatives you had never heard of before. By then you were seven.Life there wasn’t too terrible there at first, you had a friend who you saw every day and spent so much time with. When he moved away the place just turned into one big hellhole. As soon as you could, you worked multiple jobs to be out of the house as often as possible and save as much money as you could. But you were finally leaving. Your bags all packed, wearing your mother’s old jacket -which your weird relatives always hated and tried to get tid of on multiple occasions- and heading back home.Back home to the South side of Riverdale.
You had contacted your old friends already to come pick you up from the station in case you didn’t remember how to get to their home or you wouldn’t recognise them after almost twelve years of not seeing them. And you guessed right, sort of. You recognised Mr. Jones in the old, worn leather jacket, but you had no idea who the kid was who walked up to you two with what looked like multiple paper bags of food.Wait. A kid your age. With black hair. Joining you Mr. Jones, happily greeting you and offering you a milkshake with that oddly familiar smile..Oh.So, little baby Jughead got hot. On the way home you passed through a part of the North side and noticed that you were getting some weird looks the whole time. When you got home, had everything unpacked and were well rested, the three of you went to Pop’s for dinner. Jughead invited some of his friends for you to meet and get used to before school started again.Everyone was really nice and welcoming and you spent the weeks before school together. In the first week, Mr. Jones, FP, took you to this bar to show you more about who your parents were and the family they -and you as well- belonged to; The Southside Serpents. They treated you like family from the moment they all met you and you truely felt home with the Jones family. Even though you got your own trailer pretty fast, you and Jug still spent most of your days together. Everything seemed to be perfect and you couldn’t be happier. Well, almost everything. There was this one weird thing about Jughead that you never had the guts to ask about, but for tonight you decided to put it aside again and just enjoy your late night snack at Pop’s with your friends.Although tonight it seemed you couldn’t just set it aside since Jug had been acting weird all night. The others didn’t seem to notice and shrugged it off as ‘typical Jughead behaviour’ when he almost ran off immediately without saying goodbye as soon as you all stepped out of the door. After the rest of you said your goodbyes, you were left to walk home alone. Heading back to the Jones’ trailer to get your stuff, you found it locked with your spare keys still inside. You went back to your trailer, deciding to get your stuff tomorrow.Arriving there, your door was already open and Hot Dog was walking around in the livingroom, you assumed Jug already got there, since you heard someone messing around in your fridge, which was something that happened quite often, which is why you always kept extras.“Really Jug? We just got back, why didn’t you just order more food if you were hungry?” You dropped your bag and coat on the couch and made your way to the kitchen to see if your friend managed to satisfy his hunger. What you didn’t expect to find, was your friend, gnawing on pieces of uncooked red meat, staring right at you with eyes like a monster’s.. You backed off towards the door grabbing your bag and Hot Dog and locking the door as soon as you set foot outside and rushed back to the Jones’ trailer, hoping someone was home. But no one was. Damnit. So you continued your journey to the White Wyrm and pretend that everything you saw tonight didn’t happen. You found some friends and made up some lame excuse why you couldn’t head home and were offered to spend the night. Luckily Sweet Pea didn’t have any problem with you bringing Hot Dog along. After spending the night on the couch, you two had breakfast and you made your way back to your trailer. Anxiously keeping Hot Dog close to you, you unlocked the door to your trailer and waited for a respone, when you didn’t hear anything you slowly opened it and stepped inside, where you found your livingroom torn to shreds and your kitchen as messy as it was the night before, but no Jughead. You let Hot Dog go and he made his way outside almost immediately, making you even more scared than you already were.Making your way towards the bedroom, you paused after every step, listening for any noise, but it kept being completely silent. The door was ajar and you pushed it open carefully, finding not exactly what you were expecting.Jughead, asleep on your bed, covered in leftovers of whatever you kept in your fridge, clothes torn like he was attacked by some creature, though there wasn’t a single scratch on his skin.you walking around in the room woke him up and with a groan he stretched and jumped up at the sight of someone seeing him in his current state. You were still not sure what to say or ask, or if you should even speak at all before he had a chance to explain himself.Which he did, while he dug around your closet to find his clothes that he had stashed there for if he ever needed some. Did he know an event like this might happen? Is that why he left his clothes here? You had too many questions. He tried to find the right words to explain what happened last night. While changing into new clothes that weren’t torn. When he took off his shirt you saw the large scar on his side and back.“So, that town I lived in..” You carefully started after a long silence. “There was a family, people told stories about them, saying they were monsters."He sighed and turned to face you, now cleaned up, pulling a shirt over his head and shrugging on a hoodie. "That scar, the eyes, the fangs. Jug, just tell me okay.” you sat down on the edge of the bed, looking around the room, everywhere but in his direction. You were surprised how neat your room still was, besides the messy bed. Your whole place was trashed but this room was almost completely untouched. He sat down on the other side, clearly struggling to get any words out. “I saw you, Jug, and I’m still sitting here with you now, aren’t I?” You tried to be as careful as possible as you placed a hand on his back where the scar was. “I just..” softly, words started forming, a few at a time, slowly forming a sentence, which saddened you hearing it from him.“I just don’t know how to tell you, without it sounding like a joke, like a dumb prank.” You felt bad for him, felt bad that he was too scared of being ridiculed even more then he already was, all because of a thing he couldn’t do anything about. You wrapped your arm further around him and pulled him closer to you, hugging him, not knowing what to say that could make him feel any better. He let himself be pulled closer and curled up beside you, muttering softly. “I’m sorry.” You let go of him to let him turn a bit so he could face you. “For your home, and scaring you. I’m sorry."A small laugh escaped from your lips, seeing him like this, after he went though the entire Serpents initiation and still standing. But now he was more like a small helpless animal, waiting to be said serpent’s breakfast. Before any of you had a chance to say something, someone appeared in the door opening. FP, cleanly dressed but looking just as ravaged as Jughead. "Sorry about your place, kid. He’s been having issues controlling himself ever since you came back."You looked back from FP to Jughead, who had curled himself against you, away from his father’s view. You rana hand through his hair and got him to sit up and face his dad, hoping the two of them together would give you a proper explanation, instead of letting you guess everything on your own. After looking around your trailer, checking what could be saved while FP and Jughead took turns showering and helping around with cleaning and throwing out the wrecked, heavy furniture, the three of you went to the White Wyrm to discuss what happened tonight over breakfast, no one was there at this time of day anyways so it was a calm place to talk and a place where only Serpents would enter. The whole morning Jughead had been practically stuck to your side, he wouldn’t let go of your arm, only if it was really necessary. Even at the Wyrm he was curled up against you on the couch, while FP got some drinks and settled down on a chair next to you. This was it. This was the moment where everything was gonna be explained.Jug still didn’t say much, so FP did most of the talking. He started explaining everything in a way he though sounded the least strange and apologized multiple times for sounding weird and unbelievable. You had never seen either of them like this in your entire time of being with them. They had acted strange and hungover on multiple occasions but you never thought too much of it. "So, the Jones family is an old …werewolf family?” You noticed Jughead clamp down on your arm everytime the word 'werewolf’, or any word like it, was said. Like he hated it, like he really saw it as the curse that is was. FP was more mature about everything and tried to make everything as clear as possible for you to understand, carefully explaining Jug’s current behavior as well.“He’ll be his usual self again by the end of the day, you seeing him last night still terrifies him. He just needs some time.” You smiled at the boy at your side and put a hand though his hair. “That’s okay, I don’t mind. He’s kind of cute like this, actually.” Your smile grew wider, being happy you were told the truth and have everything explained. “I still don’t get why you didn’t trash my bedroom, though, Juggy.” You wondered as he made small, loving gestures toward you, which you carefully rewarded with a kiss on his forehead.“I don’t know.” was all he had to say on the matter. “I’m sorry about your home.” he had been apologizing the whole morning, even after you explained that everything was old and needed to be replaced anyways.“I think his biggest problem is that you saw him, while he was still partially himself. He saw you being terrified of him.” You understood what he meant with it all, and you wished you knew what to do about it, but you didn’t, you had no idea to make him see you really weren’t scared of him. You and FP chatted about different things on the werewolf topic for a while as Jughead slowly started getting back to his usual self and started adding small bits to the conversation. By the end of the day the three of you had gone back to your trailer, cleaned the whole place up and went on a hunt for new furniture and materials. As a thanks for everything and letting you stay with them until you had your trailer fixed, you cooked dinner at their trailer and thanked them countless times. After cleaning up, you all ended up on the couch, watching movies on TV. FP had fallen asleep on the couch and you went to bed not long after, you were tired after today’s events, but you still couldn’t seem to fall asleep, you were lying with your back towards the door when you heard it open. Pretending to be asleep, you heard a yawn that was clearly Jughead’s while he, almost as if he were on autopilot, undressed and crawled into the bed. you silently prayed he didn’t notice you being awake and would just fall asleep. After a few minute you felt relieved that he seemed to be asleep, but as soon as that thought crossed your mind, he turned toward you and wrapped his arms around you, softly muttering “I love you"s in his sleep. the next morning you woke up without him wrapped around you and you could get out of bed and shower without any interruptions. While making breakfast, you were greeted by a very happy looking Jughead, who immediately went to see what you were making and was trying to steal some of the food. "Hey! Go make your own breakfast you muttering mess.” You only got a confused look from him as response to that comment. “I’m talking about you muttering "I love you” in your sleep last night, what was that about, hm?“ you teased, pointing the spatula at his face. He didn’t reply, he only sighed as you put the spatula back on the counter. "Well?"Again, no reply. Only a quick kiss on your lips as he grabbed your toast and eggs and ran off to the living room.

You don’t have to be alone for Christmas - Wonho
A/N:I’m back again at writing after a long time! Plus I was feeling very festive after decorating the whole house hehe hope you enjoy :) ps: if you want some kind of soundtrack I suggest you listen to Christmas Without You by Trixie Mattel, I’ve been obsessed with that song lately!
Words: 1660
Genre: so much fluff that you’ll get diabetes tbh
Characters: Wonho x Reader
It was that time of the year again, snow was falling sofly on your coat and your hair. Finals week was finally over and you could get some rest. Too bad you didn’t really have any company by your since your roommates all had gotten back to their hometown. It was almost Christmas after all. I guess that’s one of the downsides of being an exchange student, you said to yourself. Of course, the opportunity that was given to you was the best thing that ever happened, but you felt kind of lonely.
During the rest of the evening you kept on walking with nowhere to go, observing all the Christmas decorations above the shops, until you noticed a place called “Momo Café”. You reached the entrance to look at the menu. I could use a hot chocolate right now.
The place was not that packed so you chose the booth that was by the window. You could see the whole city covered in white, that vision was really something to you. It never snowed in your hometown, you almost felt like a child.
You were taken away from your thoughts by a voice saying “Are you ready to order, miss?”.
You turned your head to the waiter only to see a familiar face. You were pretty sure you had seen this guy before. But his intense gaze held you back from saying anything. He had bright red hair, round glasses and wore a white t-shirt under a black apron. How was he not cold? Then you remembered to answer the question.
“Y-yes… I would like one hot chocolate please”
The waiter wrote down your order immediately on the small tablet in his hand. “It’ll be ready in a minute.” He then looked at you more carefully. What is going on right now.
“Okay this might sound crazy but… do we go to the same University?” You suddenly remembered who he was.
“I think we do actually! You were the guy that got in trouble for hiding fake spiders in Mrs Park’s bag on Halloween, weren’t you?”
“Indeed I am. And you were the one that started crying out of laughter.”
“Indeed I am. But can you blame me? She fell on the floor and broke her elbow!” You both laughed. Before you could say anything else, a lady started yelling at the waiter to hurry up.
“I’m coming!” he yelled back. He smiled at you one last time then he ran back to the counter.
The smell of hot chocolate filled the air around you, and it made you smile. The friendly waiter put down the cup next to a plate of pastries.
“Hey, sorry, I didn’t order these.” You said while pointing at the christmas tree shaped cookies.
“On the house.” He answered while winking. The fact that such action made you blush made you angry with yourself.
Calm down Y/N. He’s just a pretty boy with a nice smile, keep yourself together, you reminded yourself. You were always the type to rush into things without enough thinking. After a few heartbreaks, you decided to give up the dating world for a while and it seemed like nothing could change your mind. But you felt kind of weird because of this guy, and you couldn’t quite put your finger on what it was.
You looked at your plate once again and noticed something between the cookies. A piece of paper.
My name is Hoseok by the way. My shift ends soon and I would like to talk to you again so... do you want to go for a walk?
Oh and… what’s your name? Lol
You laughed while reading the small message. It had been a long time since someone even asked to see you. You looked up at Hoseok only to see that he was already staring at you, waiting for an answer. You nodded cheerfully and his reaction was priceless: he started giggling like a little kid but tried to hold it in as much as he could.
Ten minutes later Hoseok was back in front of you, this time without the apron.
“Come on, let’s get out of here.”
You stood up and put on your coat and followed him outside the shop. The snow was not falling any longer so didn’t need to put on your hat. You looked to your left only to see Hoseok unable to zip his coat. You placed yourself in front of him and helped him and in less than a second you were done.
He looked at you, then he said “Thank you… uh…”
“Y/N, my name’s Y/N” you said with a smirk on your face.
“That’s a nice name.” He answered. “Shall we go now?” Hoseok continued
“Yes please, we’ll be frozen if we keep on standing here.”
“Well… I like where I’m standing right now actually.” He was looking at you with a smart look on his face. I’m not going to fall for this.
“Alright Romeo, we better get going…”
Proud of your sassy comeback, you turned around and started walking on your own.
“Hey! Wait up Y/N!”
Hoseok was so easy to talk, at first he seemed like the cool guy that nobody could reach but you were glad you were wrong about him and you were happy to have run into him that evening.
The two of you kept on strolling down the streets, chatting and laughing, making fun of the poorly designed Santa Claus on every window or singing along to Christmas Carols. You told him about your home country and how you were lucky enough you win a scholarship, and he told you about his major in performing arts.
“Thank you Hoseok.” Your thoughts accidentally slipped out of your mouth. What did I just say?
“What for?” he asked with a confused expression.
“It’s just… I thought I was going to be alone for the rest of the evening, if not the rest of the holidays but… I had a lot of fun with you tonight.”
He stopped walking and looked at you in the eyes. A huge smile rana cross his lovely face. Then he got closer and cupped both of your cheeks with his cold hands. Your heart almost skipped a beat and you could feel your face turning all red from the sudden action.
“I should be the one thanking you, I mean… it would have been such a bore without you right now.” You had forgotten what you wanted to say and you just kept on staring into his lovely eyes.
He suddenly started leaning in closer to you, which caused you to look very shocked. Your whole mind went blank.
“Follow me, I want to show you something.” He stopped midway and started walking again, in direction of a park. You remained there for a couple of seconds, still in shock, then you ran to catch up with him. I’m not going to fall for these silly little games. I’m not. Then again… why am I still blushing?
Then Hoseok sat on a bench in between two large trees, you followed him right after and sat on his right. You started gazing at the city filled with lights.
“It’s beautiful here.”
“I know… I always come here when I need to slow down a bit, to relax.”
You both sat there in silence, admiring what was in front of you.
“This is nice.” You sighed. All of a sudden you felt something touching your hand and holding it tightly. You looked at Hoseok, surprised.
“It really is.”
You placed your other hand on his, only to make sure he wouldn’t let go.
You two looked like kids, getting closer and closer on that bench, and you kind of liked it. There was an undeniable attraction between you, and not even your survival instincs could stop you.
He went on placing light kisses on your red cheek, and then the corner of your mouth and finally your lips, that were chapped from the cold. You let that feeling of feeling him so close to you sink in. All of your negative experiences didn’t matter anymore.
All that mattered was you and Hoseok, together on that lucky evening.
Later that night
“Are sure you don’t want me to walk you to your dorm?”
“What part of ‘Boys are not allowed’ don’t you understand?”
“Well if nobody sees me then I wouldn’t even be there…”
“You sure don’t want to get in more trouble do you?”
“I guess not.”
Here you were, in front of the campus, about to part. But you didn’t want to. You kept on longing to his presence even though you were aware of the curfew being a little too close. But then you decided.
“I’ll be going then.”
“Wait.” He said while grabbing your shoulder gently. “I’ll see again right? I mean… I know it’s a little early but…I kind of like you.” There it was. The chance to finally start a new chapter in your life and fill it with beautiful memories. You didn’t want to waste your time any longer.
“Do you want to have breakfast together tomorrow?” you asked trying to look confindent in your statement.
“I would love that, I really would.”
You then exchanged numbers so you could agree on the location and the time of the date, then you said good night with a kiss on the cheek.
While you were on your way back you couldn’t stop looking back at Hoseok and for him it was the same thing, at some point you even started walking backwards.
“Can we stop looking like two teenagers?!” You shouted at him from the stairs.
“Oh, I hope we never stop, sweety!” he shouted back.
Hoseok then blew a kiss in the air for you to catch. Goodnight. It looked like that movie you had seen once in your drama club. How does that song go, again?
«Good night, good night. Sleep well and when you dream, dream of me»

Prompt #12: Sisters One, Drunks Zero
FFXIV Write 2017 Prompt #12: Caste
Characters: M'Sheerah, M'Rana
Rana was pleased as punch. Even though it wasn't for a particularly good reason, she had her sister sitting next to her at the Quicksand when she would normally be alone. Sheerah still looked a bit ragged- whether that was from the incident or the copious amount of the same rolanberry liquor that she was again applying liberally to her insides. She still leaned to hr side and wrapped her arm around Sheerah's shoulders and kissed her sister on the cheek.
That ended up causing her to spit some of the liquor out, onto the table, and while Sheerah blushed, Rana set off into a giggle fit.
“Oh, come off it, Rana! I know you're happy to see me here, but do you have to keep showing your affection like that? I mean, well... people are going to see us and assume...!”
Just the sight of a fiercely blushing Sheerah was enough to intensify Rana's giggles to a full-on laugh attack. It was a mix of relief and happiness that came bleeding out of her mouth, and she planned to enjoy needling her sister.
“...I talked to big sister Eline. She said that Zana was coming over for dinner tonight, and that the two of you were going to talk about what happened. I mean, I'm happy because it's the second family dinner in a week, but... does this mean Zana's going to vanish on us again? Like she did for that weekend? Or for all those years when she was working the shiplines? Or the years after?”
The sheer look on Rana's face almost caused Sheerah to forgive her little sister right there. She was worried- and where the other three of them had jobs to throw themselves into (she worked harder and practiced her healing and conjury, Eline just took a few extra hours at the Blushing Maiden, and Zana... well, divines only knew what her wonderful sister did these days to alleviate her stress...), Rana didn't have much of anything once her aether was exhausted from exploding things.
“Zana is going to talk to me and I'm going to lay out what I know. She has some friends taking care of a few things for her on this- people she can trust. Just... relax, okay, Rana? She can't follow me here. A Claw would stick out waay too much in Ul'dah.”
Rana simply laughed in response, and pulled her close again, brightening the flush on Sheerah's cheeks.
However, she was not the only one to notice this. Several of the regulars had been watching them, as well as a number of somewhat-sauced newcomers. The leader of the little group looked over at his friends, and motioned them over.
“Huh, what a pretty little pair of kittens we've got here. I suppose that just means you can call us a bunch of... what do they call themselves? Nunhs?”
He looked to his friends, and they both nodded, the kind of nod that only comes from too much drink.
“Yeah! So... that means you have to do whatever we say! So come up to our room and let's have us a nice old party, hmm?”
If there was one thing that drew the two miqo'te together, apart from a love of family, the antics of their wayward sister, or Eline's roast dodo breast, it was an utter hatred of stupidity. Sheerah looked over at her sister, who nodded, and then back up at the three drunken fools who knew not the people they had just poked.
“...first off, none of the three of you are actual miqo'te. None of you have tails, or ears, or even the bearing of someone like us. You come off as a bunch of people just looking for some easy company.”
Sheerah's words didn't even shake the three, who kept on closing in.
“...second, and I implore you, learn your castes. Nunhs are only for Seekers of the Sun, you idiots, and those who still want to stay with their tribes. Even then, it's not all about the sex, you dopes. It means being able to handle every single threat that comes your way without flinching or running. It -also- means being able to handle any challengers to your role... no matter what. That means only one of you would be able to get it at the same time. Why not take a long trip off a short cliff to Forgotten Springs, and ask the U as to what they would think of some non-miqo’te nunhs? ...though the way your friends look, well... you’d all be lucky not to end up in the sandworm-bait caste.”
“Huh... did anyone else feel that chill- hey, why's my bracelet got all this frost on it...? Uhm... guys? Hello, back me up here- ugh? Who the hell are...?”
“...and that is why you would make a horrible Nunh. Hello, big sister. Come to check up on us?”
Staring down at the two of his compatriots that had hit the floor without him even noticing, the formerly-completely sotted young hyur was now simply looking ahead, even as the figure behind him shimmered into view, holding what appeared to be a dinner knife she'd swiped off one of the tables at the small of his back, nudging him.
“...here's the part where you empty your pockets and pay your bill, and then get the hell out of here. Leave my sisters alone or I'll test the edge of this on something worth cutting... like a sausage, for example. Get it?”
The wallet and a handful of other money was tossed onto the table, and with wide eyes, the young man simply helped his comrades up, and they fled, much to the laughter of the other patrons.
Tossing the knife to the table, the blue-clad sister joined the pink miqo'te, and helped herself to the liquor, even as the others returned to their seats.
“Shee, what am I going to do with you? You end up with an admirer in Gridania, and now you're breaking hearts here at the Quicksand. I ought to bring you by work, and see how long it takes you to get somebody's attention, you know? I mean, I was planning on dropping you off while I go to Gridania, anyways- you know, have a drink, meet some nice folks, maybe relax a bit in my room...”
Zana offered forth a smile with a bit of teeth.
“...maybe even meet someone nice for a night?”
Rana's sudden burst of howling laughter only contributed to Sheerah's flaming face as she sank beneath the table, to hide her head in her hands.
“I mean, big sister Zana, you wouldn't really have...?”
“Nah... I hear the Quicksand makes great dodo-meat sausages with mashed popotoes. Poor fool didn't even give me a chance to order it. Anyways, come on, the both of you. Eline says dinner's almost ready... and I'll tell you what. If you really wanted someone like a nunh, I do have someone I can talk to... for both of you.”
Even as her older sister hauled Sheerah up to start the walk back to Eline's, Rana just shook her head, even as she colored red from the thought.
“...you realize we're also part Keeper, big sister. Maybe we want someone to serve us instead, hm?”
...and for once, the sisterly castes were reversed, as it was Zana who pinked up, even as both of her sisters giggled.
“...come on, you two. You keep it up with the jokes and I'll see about putting you both to work.”

Bhavesh Joshi Superhero Review – Bollywood Hungama
India has its own range of superhero comics since a long time. But unlike the West which is minting huge amount of money by making films on Marvel and DC comic characters, our filmmakers have lagged behind in this aspect. Bollywood has given a handful of superhero flicks like MR X [2015], DRONA [2008], A FLYING JATT [2016], RA.ONE [2011], ZOKKOMON [2011] etc. which didn’t work at the box office. KRRISH series is the only one that has been successful. Now this week’s release BHAVESH JOSHI SUPERHERO gets added to the list of ‘Hindi superhero films’. So does it manage to entertain and give audiences a great time? Or does it fail just like most of the superhero films of our industry? Let’s analyse
BHAVESH JOSHI SUPERHERO is the story of a one man’s fight against a corrupt practice in Mumbai. Siku (Harshvardhan Kapoor) is friends with Bhavesh Joshi (Priyanshu Painyuli) and Rajat (Ashish Verma). Siku and Bhavesh feel a change is needed in the country. Both participate in India Against Corruption (IAC) movement of 2011 and also start a YouTube channel called ‘Insaaf TV’. As part of this endeavour, they’d wear masks in order to conceal their identity and expose those breaking local civic laws. When the IAC movement fizzles out by 2011 end, Siku gets disillusioned and moves on with his life. 6 years later, Siku is working as a coder in an MNC and he’s offered a chance to move to USA, which he accepts. Bhavesh meanwhile still believes in bringing change. An old aged resident contacts him and informs him of a huge racket involving water scarcity. Bhavesh uploads a video exposing the scam and the baddies involved in this racket are alarmed. They begin to find out his identity. Meanwhile an altercation takes place between Siku and Bhavesh and the former shoots a video of the latter wherein he’s speaking about the ills plaguing the country. Siku uploads the video online but only a part of it. Bhavesh is hence presented as someone who’s insulting India. The water scarcity baddies, headed by Rana (Nishikant Kamat), accuse Bhavesh of being an anti-national. He’s badly beaten up. Bhavesh however doesn’t relent and he continues exposing the racket. This time Rana’s goons murder him. Siku reaches the airport to leave for USA but at the eleventh hour, he changes his mind. He returns back to the city without informing anyone and decides to avenge Bhavesh’s death. He assumes the identity of Bhavesh Joshi and promises to teach the wrongdoers a tough lesson. What happens next forms the rest of the film.
Vikramaditya Motwane, Anurag Kashyap and Abhay Koranne’s story is very disappointing and juvenile. The premise has too many loose ends. Vikramaditya Motwane, Anurag Kashyap and Abhay Koranne’s screenplay is also not effective. Only a few sequences are well written. Their dialogues also work only at select places.
BHAVESH JOSHI SUPERHERO’s beginning portion is very dry and incoherent and makes no impact. It’s only when Bhavesh chances upon the water scarcity bit that the film gets better. The manner in which Bhavesh is tortured by Rana’s men is intriguing. The intermission point is when the film goes on a high. It is the best part of the movie and one expects fireworks in the second half. Sadly that never happens. The unconvincing moments are aplenty. It is bewildering how Siku and Sneha (Shreiyah Sabharwal) don’t communicate at all after the former pretends to move to USA, especially when they haven’t formally broken up. Moreover, Siku following Rana’s men without even changing his appearance is too much since they could have easily spotted him and his game would have been up. One expects at least the climax to be satisfying. But alas, the film gets worse at this point.
Vikramaditya Motwane’s direction is poor and this is shocking since he has handled his previous films [UDAAN, LOOTERA, TRAPPED] very well. A few scenes are deftly handled. For instance, the entire passport track is very relatable. But in the major part of the film, the direction goes haywire.
Harshvardhan Kapoor is strictly okay and lacks the conviction needed for the part. At some places, he’s completely blank. For instance, after Bhavesh gets beaten up because of his folly, he ideally should have looked regretful and sad. But these emotions don’t come across on his face at all. Priyanshu Painyuli is much better and dominates the first half. His dialogue delivery especially is praiseworthy. Nishikant Kamat leaves a mark in a small role. Shreiyah Sabharwal is wasted. Ashish Verma is great and shines in the finale. The actors playing Hemant Patil, old aged resident and the cop do a nice job.
Amit Trivedi’s music is nothing great. ‘Chavanprash’ is foot tapping but Arjun Kapoor’s version is missing. ‘Hum Hain Insaaf’ stands out and ‘Qasam Kha Li’ is relegated to the background. Amit Trivedi’s background score is dramatic.
Siddharth Diwan’s cinematography is rugged and that works well. Cyril Raffaelli, Sébastien Seveau and Vikram Dahiya’s action is entertaining, especially in the local train chase sequence. Aditya Kanwar’s production design is fair.
On the whole, BHAVESH JOSHI SUPERHERO is a poor show owing to its haphazard writing and bad direction. At the box office, it will be a disaster. Avoid!

Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran Review
When India got independence in 1947, it was a challenge for those who assumed power. After all, they had to start from scratch in several areas and aspects. These challenges continue till date but it’s heartening to see that despite a lot of hurdles, India has made great progress in a lot of fields. One of the achievements was becoming a full-fledged nuclear state and this happened due to a series of nuclear tests carried out in Rajasthan town in 1998. The entire story behind these nuclear tests is quite fascinating and surprisingly, no filmmaker had picked it up in these two decades. Finally, actor-producer John Abraham took the challenge and has come out with PARMANU – THE STORY OF POKHRAN. So does the film turn out to be an engaging and thrilling fare? Or does it fail in its endeavour? Let’s analyse.
PARMANU – THE STORY OF POKHRAN is the story of those people who secretly carried out a series of nuclear bomb test explosions in Pokhran on May 11, 1998. Ashwath Rana (John Abraham) is from the research department of the Central Government and in 1995, he advises the Prime Minister’s Office to conduct nuclear bomb tests in order to achieve supremacy in this field and establish fear among the nuclear powers of the world. The plan gets accepted but he’s not made a part of it. His plan is also not studied well. As a result, USA’s satellites catch India preparing for the tests red handed. India is left red faced and Ashwath is made the scapegoat. He is removed from his job and shifts to Mussoorie with wife Sushma (Anuja Sathe) and son Prahlad. For the next 3 years, Ashwath does odd jobs while Anuja runs the house by working in an observatory. In 1998, Atal Bihari Vajpayee is made the Prime Minister. His principle secretary Himanshu Sharma (Boman Irani) summons Ashwath and asks him to help with the nuclear tests. Ashwath agrees and devises a plan to prepare and conduct the tests without the USA getting a whiff of it. He also prepares a team comprising of Ambalika (Diana Penty), Dr. Viraf Wadia (Aditya Hitkari), Dr. Naresh Sinha (Yogendra Tikku), Major Prem Singh (Vikas Kumar) and Purunganathan. How they manage to work together and put India on world nuclear map forms the rest of the film.
Saiwyn Quadras, Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh and Abhishek Sharma’s story is very promising and novel as it has entertainment and feeling of nationalism in adequate doses. Saiwyn Quadras, Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh and Abhishek Sharma’s screenplay is neat and simple and they ensure that complex technical language is not used. As a result, even the layman can understand what’s going on.
PARMANU – THE STORY OF POKHRAN has a shaky start. The 1995 sequence doesn’t involve viewers properly. It’s when Ashwath meets Himanshu is when the film picks up. From here, the film goes on another level and it’s fun to see Ashwath assembling his team and fooling USA. The intermission comes at a great point. The second half is better as the Pakistani spy (Darshan Pandya) and CIA agent Daniel (Mark Bennington) try their best to fail Team Ashwath’s mission. There’s also sudden humour quotient added and it works very well especially in the confrontation scene between Ashwath and Sushma. The best is reserved for the finale. It is very well handled and the patriotic fervor comes out beautifully.
Saiwyn Quadras, Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh and Abhishek Sharma’s dialogues are nothing great but look real and conversational. Abhishek Sharma’s direction flows quite easily and is to the point. He very nicely packs in a lot in 130 minutes. However, one wishes if the tension levels could have gone higher. A film like this should have had more edge of the seat moments for an added impact. Also, though the team is shown facing roadblocks, it seemed a bit convenient at most places. Thankfully, the film has enough plusses that overpower these glitches.
John Abraham delivers one of the best performances of his career. His act is subtle and yet leaves a mark. His character has suffered a lot and this bit comes out very well. Also he’s not shown as an invincible killing machine which is his image. Yet he pulls it off very well! Diana Penty has a crucial part and essays the no nonsense character very well. Boman Irani delivers an incredible performance and it was a pleasure to see him on screen after ages. Vikas Kumar is totally believable as an army major. Yogendra Tiku raises laughs while Aditya Hitkari looks quite smart and gives an impressive performance. Darshan Pandya leaves a mark. Anuja Sathe is very good and manages to create an impact with her supporting role. Mark Bennington and Zachary Coffin (Stephen) are okay.
Sachin-Jigar’s music doesn’t get much scope and all songs are relegated to the background. ‘Thare Vaaste’ is the only song that stands out, more so because of the execution. Sandeep Chowta’s background score is theatrical and impactful but has a major Hans Zimmer hangover which could have been avoided. Zubin Mistry’s cinematography is quite nice and captures the barren locales of Rajasthan well. Rameshwar S Bhagat’s editing is slick. T P Abid and Sandeep S Ravade’s production design is very authentic and realistic. Amar Shetty’s action is sans any gory.
On the whole, PARMANU – THE STORY OF POKHRAN is an excellent saga that has a big chance of working at the box office despite the low buzz. The patriotic fervor and simple, effective narration works big time. Recommended!
