Miss Vedi Vero

After the stunt she and Jaehwa pulled at the Vedi Vero fan sign, Soyoun was relieved that the marketing people and the fans enjoyed it enough for her to warrant a renewed contract. Being a model for anything fashion-related was exactly up her alley, and it was a sign that even if she doesn’t own her own label or isn’t working for a big-name fashion house, she is still relevant enough to the fashion industry. At least relevant enough for brands to actually want her. This collaboration with Baskin Robbins was something she would have loved to work on if she was going to be honest. The designs and colors were so funky, and the function aspect was something she would have also loved to contribute to. But alas, there are dreams that cannot be.  

She picks up a pink and white cat-eye framed one inspired by her favorite flavor Gone with the Wind. She then takes them off to compare them with her second option. She gently picks up the darker-framed one inspired by Mom is an Alien. Both frames are cute on her. The pink one matches her usual image and vibe, while the darker ones remind her of a vintage Chanel pair her mom owns. She can only hope and pray that the Baskin Robbins and Vedi Vero teams let her take home at least one or two because these look so cute.

Thankfully, the team informed her that she got to show off at least two sunglasses when she did the interview with LGC Access. This certainly made her life a lot easier as she took both sunglasses to the interview.

When asked to choose which sunglasses she would recommend from the collaboration, Soyoun then put up both her picks. "This pink one inspired by Gone With the Wind looks so cute and pretty, doesn't it? It gets bonus points for being based on my actual favorite Baskin' Robbins flavor." She puts on the pink sunglasses and does a few poses for the interviewer and the many cameras filming them. She has to give them various angles to work with. When she finishes with those, she then puts on the darker, classier-looking pair. "This one is inspired by Mom is an Alien, and in my opinion has the same vibe as those of a luxury brand beginning with C I'm not sure I'm allowed to name." She playfully winks at the cameras for good measure. Once again, she poses with the sunglasses, transitioning in facial expressions and angles.

Soyoun couldn't help but laugh when the interviewer asked her to strike a pose and recreate her Miss Universe-like performance at the fansign that had apparently gone viral. Regardless, Soyoun walked, posed, and did the slow-mo turn accordingly. She had refined her walk from the last time, and she can only hope it is a performance worthy of Catriona Gray's attention.

"I guess we can temporarily call this the Vedi Vero walk?" Soyoun replies with a laugh when asked what she would have named her walk if she were to compete with that performance in Miss Universe. "Or if we want to avoid copyright issues, we can call this the Sunglass Walk. I'm accepting names for it, pageant fans, please and thank you!"
