Summary: Castiel walks in on dean having one of his 'self-deprecating' moments in the mirror.

Warnings: Angst, Fluff, self harm, alcoholism. Dean not thinking highly of himself (having a major 'I want to throw something' moment) Dean crying, MOC!Dean.

Notes: This is gonna get sad! buckle in! (seriously dont read with reckless abandon READ THE WARNINGS!)

Castiel walked in on Dean in the bathroom, murmuring to himself in the mirror, then with a loud "NO I'M NOT!" he threw the mirror across the bathroom. A piece of glass in the shattering of the wall mirror, bounced back up and sliced Deans arm, right below the mark. "GOD DAMN IT." he hollered. Unknowing of Castiel's presence, tears started to prickle into his eyes, as the blood rolled down his arm. Castiel flinches at the sudden outburst. "Dean-" Castiel starts. "Cas... what are you doing in here?" Dean said cradling his cut arm. "I... I can fix that for you..." Castiel said holding his hand out to heal him. "No, I deserve this, get me some bandages, would you?" He said hissing in pain. It was almost like a throw away joke to him, 'I deserve this'. Castiel looked puzzled at this for a moment but still, got him the bandages. Dean walked out of the bathroom and wrapped his arm up in the bandages. Castiel continued to look puzzled at Dean as he grabbed the nearest whiskey bottle and gulped some of it down with a hiss. The first words out of his mouth for a solid 10 minutes were: "Cas... I dont know what to do." Cas tilted his head, "What do you mean, Dean?" "The itch, Cas. The part of my mind controlled by this mark, telling me to take the nearest sharp object and plunge it into your heart and twist, no matter if it kills you or not. just the... the blood. it needs the satiations of blood. And every time i look at you, i see you dead, Cas." "Dean." "Just... Dont." Castiel walk up to Dean and wraps him in the sincerest hug he can manage. "We'll get through this. I'll keep the angel blades away from you just in case." Dean looks into Castiel's eyes and just keeps seeing the light fade from his eyes in death. "Thank you, Cas."
