Summary: Heat’s partner (you) gets separated from the Crew when Kaido lands on the island holding the Kid Pirates Hideout.

Word Count: 1,694

Details: Set in Wano Country Arc. Kid and Heat may be OOC but idc lol. Established relationship. Just a sweet little fic about Heat and his sweet partner. Tried to keep it as GN as possible, if I missed something let me know and I will fix it! I've never written Heat before, hopefully I wrote him well!

You weren’t with the Kid pirates very long when you had encountered the King of the Beasts.  When Kaido landed on the island where the Kid Pirates Hideout was, it was discovered that Apoo was already aligned with Kaido. You had been standing with Emma and House at the time, on the right side of the hole created by Kaido’s fall when Kaido locked eyes on me and reached his arm toward me, grabbed me and brought me closer to his face. 

“Well, aren’t you a pretty little thing?” He said with a malicious grin.I struggled against within his hold and could vaguely hear the Kid Pirates shouting for Kaido to let me down but my ears were focused on Heat yelling out for me. Kaido brought me closer to his face and I could smell the Sake on his breath. 

“I’m going to have fun with you.” He said as he squeezed a bit harder, my vision getting darker by the minute.

Getting separated from the rest of your crew was not easy, especially seeing as you weren’t as good a fighter the rest of the crew. By no means were you a bad fighter, but your skills lay more on the medical side of things. 

Kaido had you on a leash, figuratively and literally, after you landed on Onigashima you had been forced into a Beast Pirates Costume. The leash hung on the wall, right outside of the cell that was dug out of a rock wall facing a chair that the King of the Beasts often sat on while getting drunk. You weren’t completely alone, your captain being in the cell with you. 

Every once and a while, when the Beast Pirates had a party, you would be dragged out of the cell by your leash and paraded around with Kaido, usually attached to the arm of his chair or trailing behind him with the extra long leash hooked onto his belt. They would take the leash off and throw you into the cell, more often than not throwing you into your captain, who would break your fall. 

It was truly humiliating and every time you were brought back into the cell room you would see your captain’s look of pity before the expression shifted to a glare staring at whatever lackey brought you back into the room. It still shocked me to this day, as a newer member of the Kid Pirates, how protective Kid and the Commanders were of the female crew members. For the most part, they saw all of you as little sisters, the exception being Heat and myself. Of all the commanders, I saw Kid as the brother I never had. 

“If I had my powers, those bastards would be dead.” Kid grumbles quietly, shaking his wrist, seastone cuff clanking in the quiet dungeon. I huddled inside of his coat, the Beast Pirate Costume not keeping me warm whatsoever. He sighed and pulled me in closer. 

“I swear, I will get us out of here and get you back to Heat.” I nodded and drifted off to sleep against his arm. 

I was woken up harshly, with screaming and rustling surrounding me. I looked up from the ground, eyes still bleary from sleep, to see some of the Beast Pirates dragging Kid out forcefully. I stood up quickly, making to rush towards him when two more members stood in front of me, blocking my path. 

“You can’t go where he’s going Kaido's pet.” Beast Pirate #1 sneered out at me before backing out of the cell and slamming the door shut. 

“I’ll be back for you!” Kid shouted from across the room. 

“So stay alive until we get back, you got that punk?” Tears began running down my face, clouding my eyes further. I fell down to my knees, hunched over and tears spilling on the rocky floor. I was truly alone now. 

Time Skip to the Raid on Onigashima

It had been a hellish few weeks since Kid had been dragged out of the cell you shared. From overhearing conversations between the Beast Pirates is that Kid was brought to Udon prison and had since broken out. They also spoke of a Raid meant to happen tonight on an attempt on Kaido and Orochi’s life, but from the sounds of it they found out, ruining their plans.

Since it was the night of the Fire Festival, I was once again out on display, being made to kneel in front of Kaido’s chair, currently with all of the Tobiroppo all standing in front of me. Black Maria occasionally would lean down and coo at how ‘Sweet’ I was, asking Kaido if she could ‘keep me’. I shivered and kept my eyes staring forward. Her fake sweetness making my skin crawl. 

I tried not to pay attention to the conversation, not particularly interested in the whereabouts of Kaido’s son until I heard my name being mentioned. I noticed that the Tobi Roppi were gone, all that was left in the room was myself, Kaido, King, Jack and Queen. 

“Did you hear that pet?” Kaido leaned down closer to me, the stench of alcohol filling my senses. 

“I’m going to make my son the new Shogun of Wano, and you his pet.” He said with an evil grin as I looked up at him in shock. My blood went cold, where was Heat, where was Kid, the rest of my crew. I quickly looked back down to the ground, eyes clouding up with tears once again, tears I could not let fall.

Heat’s POV

“Where did you say they might be?” I asked Kid while we were running through the banquet hall, now thrown into chaos thanks to the strawhats. Kid turned towards me, fist curled 

“They're either in the dungeon or they are leashed up being paraded around by that bastard.” I turned towards my captain once more. 

“Paraded around?” Kid nodded. 

“That sick fuck has them on a leash and in one of those damn costumes.” My eye twitched slightly, and I moved my head looking around for that asshole as Kid continued.

“Because it’s a big gathering, they are likely hooked onto the arm of his chair, or if he’s walking around they are attached to his belt trailing behind him.” Kid glared ahead of him. 

“They always brought them back and just tossed them into the cell, never gave them anything but that damn costume to wear. Thankfully they didn’t take my coat away, kept her warm enough but I don’t know what happened to her after I was taken away to Udon prison.” He looked at me.

“I told her to stay alive, that we’d be back for her.” I nodded at Kid.

Reader’s POV

I was left alone in the room where Kaido sat when a green haired man rushed into the room. I stared in shock as he processed what was in front of him. 

“You OK?” I stared at him wide-eyed and shook my head.

“Are you one of them?” He asked, pointing at the logo on my costume. I shook my head again.

“Do you need me to get rid of that for you?” He asked, pointing towards my collar, which I nodded quickly at. 

“Please.” I whispered. He unsheathed one of his swords and lined it up with the leash attached to my collar. I pulled it tight, trying to get as far away from the sword as I could. I felt the pressure slack as he sliced through the metal cord. I sighed in relief at being able to move around freely. I stood up and stretched my legs. The green-haired man turned to walk away before he stopped and turned back to me.

“Do you know where the Banquet Hall is?” I blinked at him and nodded, getting in front of him to lead him down the path I walked many times. As we ran towards the hall in silence, I decided to risk a question.

“Are the Kid Pirates here?” I whispered, almost scared of his answer.

“Jaggy’s crew? Yeah.” He muttered. I smiled and kept silent for the rest of the run.

As we were almost to the Banquet Hall I noticed a fight happening ahead of us with a familiar head of light blue hair. I let out a cheer, alerting the man running beside me. 

“HEAT” I yelled out, I watched him turn around quickly, interrupting his conversation with the warlord Jimbe. His mouth stretched into a large smile.

“Flame!” He let out in a breathy whisper. He began running towards me, arms opening as he got closer. I jumped up and encircled my arms around his neck as he lifted me up, hands under my thighs and encouraged me to wrap my legs around his waist which I did. I nuzzled into the side of his neck and hugged him tighter. He pulled away from the hug and looked me over. 

“You OK? He didn’t hurt you too bad did he?” I shook my head as he let me back down on the floor. The green-haired man from before came up behind us, drawing Heat’s attention away from me for a second. His eyes narrowed at him and he tensed up, his grip on my waist getting tighter. I placed my hand on his chest, just above his heart, his eyes shifted back down to me.

“He cut my chains off. I was showing him to the Banquet Hall.” The tension Heat had in his shoulders visibly lightened and he turned to the man once more.

“Thanks man.” The green haired man grunted in response.

“What way is the Banquet Hall?” He addressed me. I pointed to the left.

“Down that hall, you can’t miss it.” He nodded and left quickly. I looked back up at Heat and hugged him once more. Heat’s hand came up and cupped my chin. 

“Stay with me, my Sweet Flame, don’t want to lose you again.” He mumbled before placing a soft kiss on my lips. I smiled into the kiss and laced my hands with his. 

“I’m not going anywhere.” I squeezed his hand tighter.

“I promise.”

AS of posting, I'm on my way to the airport and going to be traveling to wasteland weekend, and while my posting's already been a little erratic in the last few days its about to do that again lol. Fair warning, I make more drug references than probably needed in this, and made a fun little list at the end for you all. There's def a bunch of spelling errors, sorry I dont have the time to fix it all. I've also jumbled details about all of them together because of overlap, so if you really want to know you have to read the whole goddamn thing) Ok have fun reading.

Jolt mostly manages money in the group, and all together they do pretty well.

Jolt is muscular, but he tends to over do it with training and fighting, occasionally skipping meals, definitly fit though. there isn't much of a caste system within the story, you've either got someplace to stay or you dont.

Jolt, like the rest of them, hasnt had a "proper formal education", but he's the most well written of the group, able to read and write in both spanish and english, as well as being fluent in both. His mathmatical skills are enough to get by with, simple maths. He's also read a lot of history books in his free time, so he knows a suprising amount of US history, not that most of it matters anymore.

Most of the time, the crimes he's commited have been done in places where it doesnt really matter- around other raiders, killing people in arena style fights, ect. He's not got the stickiest hands, but he's swiped a few things in his life. Over all, he's intimidating and skilled enough to swipe stuff without gettign caught.)

Before everythign happened, his family was a very close unit, definitly closer to his mother than his father, though. His father rough around the edges, but overall a good man. His mother wanted to make sure her kids were intelligent and capable, and enjoyed passing on information from her life, and her family, history, to them. His siblings and him were also quite close, often depeneding on him when his mother passed away.

Jolt's mother died when he was around 14-15, and his father passed away a few weeks before he turned 19, after which he left his siblings. Over time he eventually found himself tangled with a few people and groups but never really found a home until he was tangled with Bux, Keres, and Rikki. The four of them make up a somewhat weird but very close family.)

There a few things he forgets how to spell, and occasionally forgets words in english/spanish, but nothing outside the normal relm of someone who's bilingul. He's decently literate though, and enjoys reading and writting.

Jolt paints fequently and paints things like aniamls and plants to catolauge them, writing down information as he learns about them, either for saftey, hunting, or foraging, sometimes even receipes. He's not super skilled at it, and struggles to draw people, but it's still a hobby of his.

He's skilled with things like cooking, construction, and he's pretty good at taking care of weapons/ maintaining them. he's not great with machinery, things like cars and what not, he is decent at wiring though, and can hot wire cars in case of emergency. )

Jolt smokes pretty regularly, often smelling like it too. Nicotine is one of the only things that helps his hands from trembling, but also makes it worse in the long run.

He's got pretty hardcore psycho addiction. while using he's either highly aggressive and manic, but often is subject to bad trips becoming emotional and mostly inconsolable. He also uses day tripper and marijuana, but less recreational and more medicinal, using them to manage his psycho addiction and mental health issues.

stimpacks, med x, rad away, rad x for all of them, jolt also uses buffout but like a pre-workout/training situation, often only taking half a dose. He also uses Calmex but as directed.

Jolt dies most of the cooking, cooking a lot of mexican and native dishes (or as close as he can get) so mostly things fluctiate from extremely healthy to very deep fried. He really enjoys spicy food more then sweet food, and his favorite foods are often served over rice, or fried. Some of his favorites are Pemmican (my mom made this a lot as a kid and its like a larabar with meat. highly reccomend), Tamales, and menudo (personally, i hate tripe, it makes me want to crawl in a hole and die, but my mom loves and says its very good for you.)

He's pretty stingy with money, budgeting everything, drugs, drinks, cigarettes, food, everything is included. Every so often he'll splurge on new spices or food, paint suplies, or on something as a surprise for Keres (which is usually new herbs or candles.) He also enjoys buying and trying unique cuts of food or veggies or meats he's never tried before.

as for gambling:

gambled once, and vowed to never do it again. He does do betted fights, but he's rarely lost a fight, picking his opponents carefully.)

KERES (im switchin up the placement bite my ass i dont care) ✧˖°. Surprisingly, Keres isnt really into the whole stealing things thing, and will pretty much only use violence as a means to protect themselves or their friends.)

Keres had a close but strained relationship with their family, their parents being strict, but not rough or hateful. They chose to leave after taking in Rikki, seeing that their family wasnt really capable of feeding more people. Keres has five other siblings, none of which they're particularly close with. Over all like the rest of the group, its mostly a found family type situation.)

Keres is mostly blind, having severe cataracts in both eyes. they could read previously, and with some aid still can. Jolt and Rikki often sit down and rewrite books using extra pressure so that keres can read the indents (like braille but none of them know it.) have several books they can use. Other wise, they are literate. they also know some spanish, not enough to be considered fluent, but enough to hold private conversations with Jolt right in fron to rikki and Bux.

Keres isnt the most technically skilled, they can sew decently well, can crochet and knit at alarming speed for someone with little to no vision, and again, despite being blind, makes a decent medic.)

Keres smokes a lot of weed, but also has a decently high tolerance to it, rarely actually getting high. They dont have a lot of anxiety but they seem to be a bit inattentive without it. They also use Jet, a lot, it helps again from being disassociated, or over stimulated, using it to regulate themselves.

Most medicinal medicines keres uses are once they've made themselves, and are usually tinctures, teas or topical ointments. Keres loves anything Jolt cooks, being unable to cook themselves, rikki being unable to handle spices very well and Bux incinerating everything he "cooks". His style of cooking is nearly identical to their families' and Jolt's curiosity for trying new receipies is exciting to keres, as it mean flavor and textural variety. They enjoy savory and bitter foods, and also fermented dishes. Keres doesn't really have any particularly favorite dishes, but anything with seafood, jerky, or fried is likely to be enjoyed. All that being said, they won't eat anythign pre-war. Probably for the best.

Keres is not allowed to buy things. They will spend all their money on candles or yarn.

Keres has never had in interest in gambling, but is inexplicably good at dominoes.)

He was in school for a bit before his parents divorced, he father then pulling him out of school to work on the farm. Bux has probably the stickiest fingers of the group, he could steal an entire cart of stuff and not only would you not see him do it, youd have no idea where any of it went. )

Bux can read, just not well or quickly; on top of needing to focus to read, he has no ability to focus, so he often seems illierate, but he's just a little stupid. He (and Rikki) only speak english, so hearing jolt constant swearing in spanish, or jolt and keres talking "serect older adult stuff" right in front of them is frustrating. Rikki's tried to pick up spanish, but picking it up from two affulent people (who aren't trying to teaching you) is harder then it looks (sounds?); Bux on the other hand, has chosen to ignore it.

Jolt is normally the one considered the artist of the group, and sure, when it comes to drawing plants and animals, he's better than Bux, but when drawing people Bux is usually better. Bux likes making more abstract desgins, anyways. He's maybe not the best with paint and paper, but he can tattoo something else.

On a technically level (on all levels except physical) Bux is pretty impressive. with machines, anyways. He seems to speak to the hardware, and know where it goes. software is a little trickier for him, which isnt saying much cause you could probably hand him a peice of technology he's never seen or heard of and be able to fix it after about five minutes of inspecting. ✧˖°. Often mopey, quiet, avoidant, and typically irratable. If not, He's more likely to have a shakey, screaming meltdown. Keres and Rikki cant handle the meltdowns, and Jolt is freaked out by the mellow (even if his highs can be annoying) so the group does not prevent him from indulging in his habits. He'll pretty much drink whatever, smoke whatever, but in general, Jet is his drug of choice. Jet, weed, and maybe a little calmex (generously spared by Jolt at the request of Keres when they travel.) other than the occaisonally calmex, he's taking mostly uppers.

Bux enjoys a good bit of Jolt's cooking, but he's not a fan of the more 'explorative' dishes, and isn't quite accustomed to other culture's foods, so he can be rather picky. He however, will devour anything prewar, very happily. His favorite are the yum yum deviled eggs. Jolt has attempted to make him fresh, homemade, non irradiated, likely moldy, and properly seasoned deviled eggs, but Bux still prefers the stuff out of the box. He does think Jolt's pork n' beans is better, though.

While not quite as bad as Keres, Bux is also not allowed to spend his own money. He gets an allowance though. He enjoys gambling, too, so that adds on to the "List of Reasons Why." posted on the fridge by Jolt. He mostly spends on drugs or food, but will also spend on tattoo and pericing supplies, or bust it all gambling. He likes dice games, and betting games. He's not great at it. )

(fun fact about the various drugs of fallout; they're inspired by real world drugs/medications, and when writing stories you can apply the real world affects and repercussions :D I've seen a few different interpretations, but here are mine personally (having worked in (and currently working for) various biomedical pharmaceutical distributions or management companies, and while not being a doctor, I know more than the average person about these drugs. (I've mostly included the ones that are important story wise.) Psycho: Methamphetamine Jet: Jenkem (I've seen some people say its an amphetamine, and i think the effects of jet are pretty similar canonically, but it's definetly jekem.) so i have seasonal allergies. i've had them since i was like 14 years old, taking meds for them, whatever. no big deal. so monday, i had a sore throat, thought it was just my allergies, so i didn't really do anything about it. tuesday, the sore throat's gone, but i'm congested af, so congested my ears, jaw, and teeth hurt and i can't really hear well out of my ears. i assume this is a combo of my regular allergies (bc i usually have a little congestion even after i take my meds) and a cold since it literally happened overnight. now, i have a history of my congestion backing up into my ears and causing ear infections, it's happened several times. to prevent this, i decided to make an appointment at my local urgent care. i had to work tuesday night so i scheduled it for the following day at like 5 p.m. i was a little better yesterday, tho still more congested than usual, but my ears still kind of hurt so i decided to keep my appointment. i get there at 5 p.m. and end up having to wait until almost 5:30 to get called back; apparently they were short staffed. like, okay fine, understandable. so the nurse does the check in and does tests for the flu and covid to rule them out, and i then sit in the room for almost a fucking HOUR waiting for the doctor. at this point, if i hadn't already paid my co-pay, i would've just said fuck it and left. so the doctor finally comes in and i explain why i'm there. he checks my ears and is all 'oh yeah, there's def congestion and pressure!' like, no shit, sherlock. then he checks a few other things and proceeds to tell me that, since my flu and covid tests were negative, it's just my allergies. like, sir, no. it's definitely not JUST my allergies. they might be a contributing factor, sure, but they are not the sole cause. i try to tell him this respectfully, like well, my allergies are usually pretty bad but not this bad, and they don't usually get this bad in one fucking day. he says, 'oh well, allergies are really bad right now' (bro, y'all say this every fucking season like stfu). now, i just want to make sure i'm not going to get a fucking ear infection okay? like, i don't want to have to come back there bc this fucker decided it was just my allergies so i'm like 'okay well, what should i do? bc like you said, there's pressure and congestion and i don't want another ear infection.' so he prescribes an allergy med i've taken a few times before that kinda works and says that i should take it and also use a nasal spray (which i already do). then he's like 'okay byeeee' and leaves. so i paid $50 and waited an hour an a half for this mfer to try to tell me that this cold is just allergies. lol fuck off sir, idc that you have a medical degree, i know my body and this is not just fucking allergies. 🙄 *pops another dayquil*

Scout: I just want to annoy people. Mostly the other team's Sniper, Engineer, Medic, and possibly Spy if I could find him. I just jump around and such. Through my ball against the wall multiple times until someone kills me because of how annoying it is. (But I'll still do it. Lol.) Second funnest class.

Soldier: rocket jumping practice.

Pyro: Time to make the other team fly. But mostly I want to fly. With my jetpack.

Demoman: I just charge at people to scare them. Lol.

Heavy: time to eat my sandvich. And watch both my team and the other team while I eat. Maybe make them laugh if I could idk.

Medic: I'll chill with the friendly Heavies, Engineers, and if I could, heal their Spy.

Spy: I'm just gonna watch the other team while cloaked in a corner. Possibly disguise as my team's Sniper so that I could mess with their's, and possibly anyone who come across our sniper area. Maybe even fake kill myself to give them false with my dead ringer. So much fun with this class ngl.

How did komahina co-parent at first? How was hajimes reaction to the twins? Did bebi like getting siblings

komahina's co-parenting at first was...definitely an Ordeal. not even because of bebi, but bc komahina is a mess. originally hajime was very insecure about his role in bebi's life, as he had very clearly asserted himself as a separate person from izuru and that he was going to live as hajime and not someone else- so wouldn't that make bebi Not his kid? sure, they're his genetically, but in theory.... that was the dilemma he dealt with. he'd already grown attached to them when he was caring for them while nagito was still in a coma and worries now that nagito has woken up, his job is done, and that nagito won't want him around bebi anymore. in turn, nagito is worried that bc hajime is asserting himself as separate from izuru that he doesn't see bebi as his kid and will not be interested in raising them, that bebi will lose their father and nagito will lose his once-husband (lurking somewhere in hajime's subconscious...) turned best friend. they live together right off the bat, sleeping in the same bed (bebi likes to be held by the 2 of them to fall asleep...but even when bebi sleeps in their own bed they didn't think to get separate bedrooms or anything...) and end up becoming very.....affectionate with one another despite their claims that they're purely platonic. they "platonically" hold hands, cuddle, kiss, kiss, and more...intimate things in the cover of night ;) nagito's convinced hajime is just "using him for stress relief" and he's only truly staying bc he'd feel guilty leaving bebi. hajime thinks they're together. this miscommunication is not truly cleared up until hajime proposes. other than that, they both love bebi very very much and spend all their time with bebi, doting on them, playing with them, caring for them.

as for hajime's reaction to the twins- that in itself was also an Ordeal! when nagito found out he was pregnant again, bebi was very sick and in the hospital, which was very hard on nagito as he blamed himself. and he had resigned himself to leaving bebi and hajime, thinking they'd be safer without him in their lives. hajime was an adult who was fully informed of the danger of nagito's luck and had izuru's luck to protect him ! but bebi couldn't consent to that. he did not want to risk hurting his child in any capacity. so he resigned himself to leaving...but the news of pregnancy only devastated him further. to think he'd ruin not only bebi and hajime's lives but the life of another baby (not knowing it was twins lol)....it was too much for him. the plan was to leave the island, suffer through the pregnancy by himself, and come back after the birth to drop their new baby off before disappearing forever.

so i remember the party & blackout in the beginning of the game pretty clearly. i was mostly just standing alone in the corner and watching everyone have fun, but it was really freeing to see the others able to enjoy themselves in such pressing circumstances. then the blackout-- it was kinda like all that happiness going away and the dread and denial immediately setting in .

anyways i remember like panicking and wanting to cry when i lifted the table cloth cus i really liked twogami. i'm p sure i did end up crying cus i really liked them for their realism and leadership skills, and the realization that one of us killed them and that the killing game was actually real etc etc

anyway i don't remember much from the investigation or trial besides being really freaked out when nagito basically admitted to being the killer n stuff, and pretty much all the body discoveries after that (besides ch 5) we're just like "ah shit here we go again" but i do remember mikans trial really freaking me out when she just straight up shifted completely, and i also remember being really proud of fuyuhiko for putting his walls down a bit and deciding to help everyone out while the despair disease was going around

anyway enough of the boring stuff, i spent basically all my free time with komaeda, chiaki and mikan (in order of frequency) and with mikan i mostly listened to her talk about medical stuff and i comforted her when she needed to vent, but i didn't hang out with her much because the constant apologizing n stuff started to bother me since i really liked seeing her happy. chiaki i would mostly play games with and we wouldn't talk much, but she gave me a really strong sense of familiarity like when we played games together it gave me a shit ton of deja vu

AND i've already talked a lot about komaeda but idc i'm doing it again. so we started talking cus of him waking me up on the beach obvs and i was pretty attached right off the bat, but i stopped talking to him for awhile because the way he acted in the first trial REALLY scared me so i just got a pit in my stomach even being around him

but he was the one who started approaching me first, i'm guessing since he couldn't rly sense anything was wrong he just kinda picked things up where they left off and started talking w me at breakfast n stuff and it was pretty weird at first, but i wanted to give him a chance and didn't wanna be rude so i accepted offers to hang out in his cottage n stuff

i remember he has surgery scars tho and i'm rly mad ppl don't draw him with any!! i think he had about 5 and i don't remember all of them but i know one was a skin graft on his leg and the one on his side/stomach that i touched wassssss for appendix removal maybe???? mmmm i'm not too sure about that one tho

also !!!! his death. hoooooly shit. ok so yunno the despair that junko always talks about ?????? yeah <3!! i remember like once i saw his body and took the reality in i just. straight up could NOT stand i like fell to my knees and jsut . cried. like i had no thoughts my head was so full that it was empty i just kinda sat there and silent cried while chiaki stood next to me it was so awful dude

later while investigating n stuff i felt really bad ab how i treated him and thought about him, and i thought a lot about our last interaction. it was the first time i had ever approached him myself cus usually he'd come to me. i was gonna hang out with chiaki but i wanted to check up on him first, so i did and he told me to go hang out with the others and i just. knew something terrible was about to happen.

OH AND THE FUNHOUSE OMG ok i literally. i usually didn't mind being around komaeda like he was chill most of the time when he wasn't ranting about hope but when he was acting like such a bitch in the funhouse i wanted to punch his stupid twink ass so bad like...... what BUSINESS does this dude have being such an asshole. he doesn't even know what face wash is. what the fuck. which is another fun fact! komaeda did shower every so often which is why he didn't smell that bad but his skin was always so dry cus he didn't know how to actually wash right and do proper skincare so he just washed his face w soap and left it like that

also he didn't need to cut his nails cus they were so brittle they would just break off on their own <3 plus he had a nail biting habit so they just never grew ever

OH AND THIS IS THE SADDEST THING i remember feeling so bad for this man bc i would like put my hand on his shoulder and he would lean into it. i mean i'd tap his shoulder for a SECOND and girl when i let go hed be lowkey so sad i could just sense it like??????dude he needed a hug SSO BAD like when i hugged him in my cuddling memory he was like holding on for dear life but also was like "u dOnT hAvE tO tOuCh TrAsH LiKe mE hAjImE" like dude it was the saddest shit. i want to hug him forever. like what the fuck what the fuck!!!!!!!!!

Wait b4 I get into that, idk how familiar you are with creepypasta (im assuming at least a little bit bc you asked this lol) but just to be safe: Creepypastas are internet horror stories, they're (imo) usually pretty sucky bc they're all written by 12yos, but whatever the fandom never sticks with Canon anyway. There's also the SlenderMansion AU (very popular, you've probably seen fanart of it) where the pastas all live together. Whos there depends in the person i guess? So for me its: Tim/Masky, Brian/Hoodie, Slender, Toby, Ben, Jeff, EJ, Jane, LJ, Smile Dog, Sally, and my parame Simon. Sometimes Jason & Slender's brothers are there, too.

I mostly daydream about Tim/Masky being my dad. and also Brian/Hoodie, being my other dad. They are Married <3

Tim is your typical tired dad, I guess? Him & Brian work for Slender with Toby (who've they also mentally adopted as their son/brother). Brian worries about everyone (he has anxiety) and is generally a mother hen ngl. Since I also mentioned Toby here (+ I want all the proxies together), he's a chaotic lil shithead but knows when to pull it together for serious situations. A more realistic version of the popular fanon, I guess.

If Tim is a Tired Dad then Slender is a Tired Grandpa <3 /j. He's the one that actually runs things & makes sure the pastas don't murder each other, especially Jeff & Jane. Its also hard to tell if he genuinely cares about the pastas or not - an elderitch being with no face is pretty good at hiding its true emotions, shocker ‐ but he does tolerate them living in his house, so. Probably? He secretly wants to be a dad let him have this.

Jeff.....has actually chilled out. Like. A Lot. I'm still toying with the idea of if he murdered his older brother, Liu, yet. Because if he didn't, then Liu would be a detective; but if he did, then Simon (my parame) would be able to see Liu (they're the para i mentioned that can see ghosts) & fix their relationship so Liu can move on. ANYWAY, personality-wise, he's still an ass but now its like. A Funny Asshole. Probably bc he spends to much time with LJ. He's also the primary caretaker of Smile Dog (he's a "family dog", but also Jeff's Dog, u know?).

Jane has also chilled out. In the sense that she isn't trying to murder Jeff on sight anymore. After some talking (and encouragement from Slender), they've decided to call it a truce (?) and more or less ignore each others existence unless necessary. It works surprisingly well.

My mom expressed strong disapproval by me when I mentioned offhand I could buy a doll with some the CARES act money I’m getting due to being on SSI, but I’m anxious about an unexpected, completely unrelated fee I might have to pay soon due to a budgeting mistake. Yes, I’m living with my parents so i don’t have to worry a lot about money just yet. But I want to be aware of risks re: money for when I’m on my own so I still get anxious over unexpected costs like the one I mentioned to her. She was making the point that I should be more responsible, which I understand, since even though my situation is very good (and very privileged) at the moment, I still need to be reasonable. And while I think people should have the right to buy things they enjoy on SSI, I’ve been a bit more careless than I should be.

Anyway, I get social security and I realized I should be saving it more (there’s a special account plan where I can; look up STABLE accounts; there’s a fee but it lets me save up to a greater amount; if you might find it useful check it out! it’s great if you have SSI but want to save extra funds for medical emergencies or college courses or rent etc- I think it’s just in the US though and it does have a maintenance fee so it won’t be right for everyone.). All this plus some confessions on here caused me to really consider what I might do if my dolls were suddenly counted as assets, or I stopped getting social security and needed money fast. It made me realized there are some dolls I could part with; I narrowed it down to keeping 2 full dolls and a head(which I might be able to get a cheaper body for), assuming I could keep them (they aren’t worth much secondhand, plus this was a thought experiment so if I had to sell everything that would be different).

All this was a thought experiment, it shouldn’t be an issue for a while if ever, but now I feel kind of guilty keeping what would be “extras” even though I don’t need to sell them, and I do like having them as their characters. There are some I could part with more easily but I wonder, like maybe I should be selling the others? Like would it be prudent? Should I try to limit myself even more because I technically am under the poverty line even if my family is well off? Am I being selfish by keeping these dolls when I could(though for now I don’t need to) use the money for necessities?

Though one thing is good about all this; in the thought experiment I thought of some other figurines and other junk that I could sell and don’t really need or even want anymore. It might be a good time to do some spring cleaning- though when I’ll be able to sell things depends on the state of the covid issue (and yes I know lives are MUCH more important don’t worry! I’m just bringing it up because it affects when I’ll be able to get rid of some of this clutter I have around)

Anyway I don’t mind if ppl skim over this or don’t care or whatever, I just needed to put this into words and express my gratitude that some of my hoarding tendencies seem to be fading and I’m getting a clearer picture of what I need vs want. It’s a good step and I’m hoping to be more reasonable about big purchases, since, y'know, I’ll be “going out into the world” someday. I’m glad my mom is honest about this stuff and I’m also grateful that I have the options I have since I know many people don’t. I’m also grateful that I have a choice about whether I sell any of my dolls, and I’m not pressured into it by needing the money, but I’m still emotionally able to let some of them go if I need to. If you did read this, I hope I don’t look like a selfish loser; I know so many people have much bigger problems, I’m just venting on a vent blog and if you do want to roast me idc? Your common, anxiety, depression and adhd and your not so common anisocoria and dermatographia. The only one that I haven’t been officially diagnosed with is dermatograpia but that’s only because I haven’t been to the dr since I discovered it. 41.
