If the comics aren't going to give me the interaction of these two when they literally share the same panels, I'll do it myself.

I just adore Sharon and John (and Pietro!), so no one can stop me from thinking that these two could get along well (especially over a shared love of food :р).

Okay, I guess, one time, John and Sharon were so hungry after a Thunderbolts mission that they went to the nearest eatery to fill their bellies. It wasn’t long before it happened again, and then it became a regular thing.

Each time they go to different places because Sharon is still obsessed with finding the best burger in the world (literally canon), while John doesn’t care what he eats as long as it’s edible (if possible). Although his love for pizza is becoming more obvious every time.

Hermits Help Hermits Stream 03/22/2021 QnA and other notable things

Answers to the questions Ren asked the hermits (not word for word, just summarizing it all)

1. Where’d you get your name?

RenDog is from, when he was making is YT account, his nickname “Ren” from school, and he added “dog” at the end because “it wasn’t gangster enough.”

ZombieCleo was from her World of Warcraft character who was also named Cleo and was undead. 

Goodtimeswithscar’s name was from his playstation network days when he got a ps3. Scar made the joke, that his ps3 days was “good times.” Scar was a misspelling from the show, “The Office.” There was a character Michael Scott made, Agent Scoon, and Scar misremembered it and made his username Agent Scar.

ImpulseSV was from a drumcore (like a marching band) he marched after high school. The name of the group was named Impulse, and SV is his initials which "we don’t talk about.” He also mentions that he’s impulsive by nature. 

Tango is a nickname his coworkers from his first game development job gave him.

Cubfan135 is a fan of the American Baseball Chicago Cubs. It’s a username from a site called “Yahoo Cool[?]” and 135 is a random number so he could have Cubfan as his name.

Xisuma, who really likes music, is from the word “music,” just flipped and the “c” replaced with “x” and “a” added at the end.

Ren, Cub, Impulse, and Scar don’t know what the TSD in JoeHillsTSD means, but chat says it means “Team Snow Day,” a comedy troupe he was/is in. I’m not sure of the accuracy of that though. Xisuma thinks it’s related to Tennessee, where Joe is from. Ren thinks it’s “the sand doon.” Cleo says “Team Snow Day1”

JoeHillsTSD confirms it’s “Team Snow Day,” it’s a group where he and his friends did comics and rpg games together.

2. Pineapple on Pizza?

YES: Impulse, Tango, Cub, Xisuma

NO: Cleo, Scar, Ren, Bdubs

3/4. First build and when did you join?

Cleo: Beginning of season 2; entrance to her museum.

Ren: Season 4; hermit farms, food for everyone. He stayed up all night to make it, which wasn’t really use it. And Mumbo apparently set up his base next to it so he didn’t have to make food. Ren proceeds to call him “a lazy bugger.”

Scar: “According to the minecon panel, I joined season 6.” Season 4, 2016; a tent. “And you’ve been building it ever since!” Ren jokes. The tent builds evolved from his survival world, whihc he made “tent city” and eventually a rollercoaster.

Impulse: Mid way season 3, January 11, 2015; quad witch hut, one he built with mumbo, tango, and xisuma, each having their own hut to work with. 

Tango: End of season 2; his “Base” which was pretty much a “hole” according to Ren.

Cub: Start of season 4; a hole in the mesa.

Xisuma: right at the beginning, before there was a hermitcraft world; “one of those forgettable start homes.”

Bdubs: Season 1, for a tour, season 3, challenged Keralis to a build battle who “wussed out so I couldn’t get to build anything;” massive tree in the jungle in season 5. 

5. Favorite shop in season 7?

Ren: Chest monster. “Doesn’t get enough loved.”

Cleo: After much hesitation, “which one do I use the most? The dye shop next to the herald.” It takes Tango and Impulse a bit to realize that it was their shop, “Oh wait, that’s our shop!”

Scar: Concrete Complete, the one that has saved him more, and much of the mayor funds. 

Impulse: “East, big logz.” Cleo proceeds to call him a suck up.

Tango: “Sneaky E’s. It’s so original, I love it.”

Cub: “Beef’s Wool shop, super useful, always stocked, fantastic shop.” 

Xisuma: The secret shop. “Sneaky-Es?” Bdubs asked. “There’s another one?” Cub asked. “I can’t say more because it’s a secret.”  I have a feeling there is no shop other than sneaky-e’s but avoided answering the question by saying that xD

Bdubs: False’s store who sells blackstone for 50% off

Bonus: Wat does he do while doing the biomes.

Cleo: How did they design ewoks?

Grian: paper and pen I imagine

Bdubs: Blood crystal

Cub: When two light sabers love each other very much-

Ren: Something with the [anban] crystal

Grian: [something about the fundamentals of the crystal, and more rambles I don’t get

Bdubs: she has to take them into the shower and pee on them. I’m sorry, it’s a call back.

7. Best thing about lock down

Cub: Perspective on things, appreciating everything before lockdown.

Ren: “made me appreciate my family more” and “keep up with my family more”

Bdubs: said “I wasn’t very good at washing my hands before” and “now I’m more conscious about my keyboard and hygene”

Impulse: “Door Dash.” Built a home gym apparently?

Grian: Gave up take out for new year and lent [it’s a religious thing for christians/catholics where they give up one thing, have no meat every fridays, ethc]. Also talked about how important essential workers are, as did everyone else.

Tango: Tango got a new dog in march 2020 and got to spend a lot of time with the lil’ pupper.

Cleo: Life didn’t change much, still goes to work to teach children and does hermitcraft. 

[tbh, idk when xisuma left, he never said anything, at least from Rendog’s perspective I didn’t hear it]

8. Do you play games that you don’t make content out of?

Grian: League of Legends. Also joked that “enjoyment” was questionable

Cleo: Breath Edge (after Scar asked for recommendations) [also nice, a game rec for me]

Cub: Rocket League (Tango proceeds to excitedly ask him what rank, gold)

Impulse: has not room for another game, sometimes among us or rocket league on stream, retro games for family game night)

Bdouble: Binding of Isaac (go to for all the time; ) 

Cleo: “Binding of Isaac, yes!” (there’s a sequel soon)

Grian: Stardew valley, age of empires 2 (cub too), starcraft 2, they are billions (ren plays it, tango is considering it) [seems like a brutal game no saving? lot of time sinkage]

Tango: Dyson sphere program [this is were joe joins in]. Satisfactory (joe also plays it)

9. Favorite no video-game game?

Grian: Throw Throw burrito. New game where there’s two squishy burritos? Need to clear anything breakable in nearby vicinity.

Ren: Agricola (tango and joe hills heard of this)

Grian: So sophisticated game and throw burritos?

Cleo: Atmosphere, where people shout at you

Scar: Surprise Star Wars trivia! First appearance of Boba Fett

Cub: Episode 4, got it.

Joe: Episode 1, isn’t it?

Grian proceeds to talk about another game that involves movement and no strategy 

10. Anyone involved into long time mmo? IE 10 years plus

Cleo: I was

Joe: Yeah, I had to get out of that

Tango: Yeah, I miss it, I’d go back in a heart beat

Ren: I’m the only one?

Tango: Let me guess? Is it runescape

Grian: EVE, Eve online.

Ren: been playing since beta. live in (Nulsec?), no rules, and hunt noobs who join [like 2b2t xD] (chat was disappointed and shocked)

Noteable things:

Ren realizes his headphones are broken

Ren consistently says “I want one of you to die” throughout the stream.

“This is where friendships will be lost,” Ren says. 

“More so than the pizza question?” Cleo responds.

Ren “randomly” decides the first person to ask question 5 and it’s cleo again, who says “wha- again?!”
