[ btw list of funny things i noticed playing ffix for the 8273432904th time:

Steiner first calls Zidane by his first name after saving Dagger in disc 2, but idk how i didnt realize that more often than not he keeps calling him by first name from that moment

in the italian version Freya refers to Dagger with "voi", which is, like. the Respect Your Superiors pronouns. despite being very annoyed w her after the whole drugging situation not ONCE she's rude to Dagger and always talks to her with the upmost respect and that's very interesting

Freya is immediately friendly with Amarant but. so is Eiko??? i did notice Eiko occasionally just going to him despite considering him a jerk but Amarant is interacting w her a few times and i think it's nice actually. i like it that these two are interacting

unfortunately, again, i like Amarant now. i have no clue what clicked but his assholery is funny now. it's been 24 years
